When you enter you are immediately greeted at the front and quickly seated. Our waitress came to bring us water and take our order within a few minutes. I only came for the soup dumplings. They come 3 to an order for $5.95. They come out super fresh and steaming so let them cool down. The broth inside is delicious and really hit the spot. My husband ordered the pan fried pork dumpling. Also come 3 per order. We loved both and were happy with flavor, seasoning. Especially how fast the food came out. I would call this a small restaurant. The space is very casual with ample seating. On a Monday afternoon they were pretty busy so that tells me locals also really love this spot. I'll be coming back to try more of their menu.

As soon as you're seated, you get offered hot tea and water. The hot tea is good. The waiter provided some great suggestions. The only thing is that we did have to request the chow mein noodles, when it was offered to the other tables. To eat, I tried the fried shrimp taro cake, fried crab rangoon, pan fried pork dumplings and special lomein. The fried shrimp taro cake was the best thing I've tried that day. It was delicious and I could eat this all day, everyday. The fried crab rangoon was also delicious and I will definitely order it again. The pork dumplings were tasty too. The special lomein had pork, chicken and shrimp and it was very good. It also came with white rice, which was had no seasoning, but that was expected. The special lomein is definitely a shareable dish. Overall, the service was good and the food was very tasty. I was also very surprised how affordable it was. This is definitely a place I would return when I'm craving Chinese food.

They truly take pride in their cuisine and their customer service. My favorite go-to is their shrimp and shrimp parsley dumplings. Consequently, when I decided it was a night for takeout and eating in front of the television, I figured why not. Canton Lee has a nice menu with all of the usual Chinese American choices. They have both lunch and combination dinner specials, which are very reasonably priced. But what really struck me was did they list all of my favorite dishes for takeout and they are well priced as well. My mother, a blessed memory, and still the love of Chinese food and me, and she would never start a meal without three distinct things. Wonton soup, spareribs (on the bone, of course), and egg roll. I ordered these items and they're not just tasted great but they were so good thst they even were able to bring back. Great memories (Sidenote: Dad loved pork strips and yatke mein soup which I rarely find these days.). Moving onto the main dishes, I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix, which is a mixture of sautéed shrimp and orange chicken. Their iteration is not spicy like I prefer, but it's really good. I love that. The chicken is still crispy even for takeout and is always nice, moist chicken breast. Maybe next time I will ask if they make it spicy. The second Dish that I ordered is Assorted Wonton which is beef, chicken and shrimp. Sautéed in a garlic sauce with pork wontons. The vegetables mixed in are extremely fresh and the sauce is delicious. I like this dish a lot although the wontons are these flat things that are a little bit strange to me and I would prefer the more robust ones I have had at other restaurants. The young chow fried rice is a huge hit for me as it is not only delicious but a huge quantity is packed into the container. Mixed into the rice, our combination of meat, chicken, and seafood, making this a perfect side dish or even main dish. There are many things in the menu I'd like to try but have not gotten around to yet. Regrettably I forgot to take pictures, but will add them at some point. I cannot comment on the ambience. as I have not been to the restaurant. What I can say, however is the both times that I have ordered the food was delivered quicker than expected. It arrives hot. Perhaps the only complaint that I have and it is not a very big one is that when I do the takeout order I check off the box to include utensils and plates, but neither time were they included. Again, not a big deal, but they should not offer that if they're not going to do it. So overall, I'm rating this specifically as a takeout restaurant as this is the only experience I have with them and as far as that goes, they are at the top of my list.

My wife is a fan of honey chicken, and the reviews that I read online spoke highly of it. This dish did not disappoint at all. Lightly breaded unlike so many Chinese restaurants where you have to dig for the chicken through a very starchy coating. This was delicious moist chicken breast with a light and tasty breading. The honey sauce was in a separate container, which was nice as the food arrived. Still crispy and delicious. We all enjoyed this dish immensely. The second dish we ordered was called Four Seasons, presumably for the four proteins which were chicken, pork, shrimp, and beef. The shrimp was described as Jumbo shrimp but calling them jumbo would be a stretch and the fact that they were difficult to even find in the dish as I think there were only two or three total. The beef and chicken were cooked reasonably, but the pork must've been cooked a while before the dish and was so tough and difficult to chew that I gave up and threw it out. The vegetables were overcut as well and were soggy and essentially tasteless. Exact opposite of the honey chicken this is a dish that I could never recommend. Lastly was the shrimp fried rice. There were a fair amount of shrimp although they didn't seem to be well distributed to the rice and all seem to be near the top of the container. That may have been coincidence. The rice itself was a bit salty otherwise had virtually no flavor. It was very disappointing. Overall, the delivery was quick and the honey chicken was superb. The rest of the meal was not memorable and there are too many places with better overall food for me too risk another disappointment by ordering from there again. Although I might just order some honey chicken and skip the rest.

I had a really good time at Tanuki River Landing. The place looks amazing, both inside and outside. It's super cozy and welcoming. The staff there are super nice. Our server, Maria C, was awesome. She kept checking on us to make sure we were happy, which was great. The food was delicious. We had trio fried rice, trio lo mein, and Mongolian beef. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The rooftop ambiance and music were definitely the highlights of the evening. The biggest challenge was the heat. On a 97-degree Miami summer evening, none of the rooftop ceiling fans were working, which made dinner quite uncomfortable and took away from what should have been an enjoyable fine dining experience. I was also surprised by the cake-cutting fee and that we weren't allowed to serve an individually portioned dessert we had brought for our celebration. I think policies like these are best communicated when reservations are made so guests can plan accordingly. For special occasions, a little flexibility or offering an alternative solution can go a long way in making guests feel valued. That said, I want to recognize the restaurant's manager for the way my concerns were handled after my visit. Their response was thoughtful, professional, and sincere, and they made a genuine effort to make things right. That level of customer service speaks to a business that values its guests and is committed to continuous improvement. While my first visit wasn't the experience I had hoped for, I truly appreciate the way management addressed my feedback. Their professionalism has given me a much more positive impression of the restaurant, and I would be open to giving it another opportunity in the future.

Knocked off the one star (was almost going to do two) as the Miami Spice this year was extremely disappointing (vs what I'd say was a nicer one last year). I brought friends to introduce them for the first time since I had a good experience last year, and unfortunately I'm not sure they'd go back because of this same intro spice experience. Small miso soup to start (or you could go for shishito peppers). 4 pieces nigiri's (they were out of the wagu one) and 4 TINY but flavorful maki pieces with one "lemon and roe" plus a mochi (or matcha crème brûlée) for dessert. By the time you're done with tax and tip, one spice is about $84. Ouch. While the flavors were nice, it was a huge tease and we were all still very hungry (all of us got 2-4 tacos afterwards + gelato to put it in perspective). This was also echoed directly to friendly and capable management there, who seemed receptive but unknown if can or will evolve it. For a tiny app, an equivalent to one roll and a piece of mochi, $84 felt like robbery. I get this has been a tough summer for restaurants and many are trying to find the right balance, but this left us all feeling let down by the experience. Would I go back? Yes, but not in a rush, the food and design are nice. General menu in the past is decent. I can't speak for updated prices and portionings since I last ordered off it. However, steer clear of Miami Spice 2026. I felt it very disappointing.

There is plenty of street parking and when you walk in, you can't miss it because there isn't too many other things in the area so it's one of few. Once you enter, you're met with a lowlight, chill, and easygoing ambience. The host greets you seated at the bar/high-table. Then, the staff take care of you from there. There is a menu with a pencil in which you mark what you want, sort of like dim sum restaurants. Once handed to them, they start making your order - feeding you as they make it, one by one. All is delicious. You can't go wrong with any item. Side note: Reservations are important because there is very limited seating.

I'm not sure if she was checking on guests or keeping track of table turnover, but with such a small space it felt a bit awk. My biggest criticism is the portion size. Don't expect to come here starving and leave completely full. Even after spending over $300 for 2, I honestly felt like I could have eaten 10 more rolls. Overall, it was a great experience with outstanding food, service, and atmosphere.

I asked for someone who specializes in gluten free or knows the menu well, even if that meant the chef. She said the chef will not come out and that no specializations will be made as an accommodation. She sent over someone else so I asked what was in the spicy mayo and got a whole lot of "mayo, ummmmm, siracha, ummmm, masago, ummmm" indicating uncertainty. I asked what made it have gluten and she could not answer. The ambiance was nice but man was the service was sucky. Staff needs to be well educated on the menu. Ended up leaving and finding somewhere else to go.

The staff did a good job of dealing with some of the rowdier patrons, and it was clear that this was not the norm, but some people looking for trouble with a bit too much of something in their system. I was impressed overall, and would absolutely go back next time I visit Miami. Probably a top 10 dinner experience!

Even with reservations they were a little slow in seating for a fairly empty restaurant (noon). Ordered drinks (tea $6 and coffee $5) then brunch. Seems like service coordination is very off. My spouse got the appetizer a good 15 minutes before mine. I had the biscuit, that was very tasty. The fruit, granola yogurt was good too. The main of crab Benedict was served, next although already cooled and the sauce a congealed. My main, after a good 30 minutes still had not arrived. Apparently a steak and eggs can be miscooked and they had redone it, never bothering to tell us. I did not try it there. Refills on the coffee were never offered. We took the steak and our cinnamon buns to go since we had been there long enough. The final kicker is they have an automatic 20% service charge in order to ensure the staff is paid enough. Seems like a business problem to me. Service was not up to that high of a standard. If you go during Miami Spice I hope they have figured out how to sequence the courses and get them to the table correctly while still hot.

This forced us to use the one men's bathroom, which was also backed up, but not as bad as the women's. To wash your hands there was a small trickle of water. Seems like they have plumbing or pipe issues. Overall was decent, but I won't be back.
