Glad to see a Chinese breakfast place in the Plano area! I ordered the eel roll, Taiwan roll, egg bomb roll, pancake, small bowl noodles, fried bread stick, sweet soy milk, and salty soy milk. All of the rolls I've tried were good. I really like the texture of the rice and the amount of sweetness of it. If I had to choose one roll, I would choose the eel roll in a heart beat. I love the flavor of it and the texture of the inside filling. The pancake was also enjoyable. The noodles weren't anything special in my opinion and tasted heavily of shaoxing wine(?). The donut was alright but not crispy enough. Both of the soy milk were okay. Overall, I would definitely come back for their eel roll and to try other flavors as well read more

Saw lots of review and hype about this place so had to check it out for ourselves. Needless to say, this place fell pretty flat. The pancake to it's credit was hot and crispy, but was lacking in any real substance. The staff also wasn't very familiar with their own menu and we were told they didn't have sweetened soy milk only to later see other folks order it. Would be willing to give it a 2nd try, but the 1st visit was sorely disappointing to say the least. read more

for now i will give this place 2 stars. tldr: this is a snack store. walking in, it was noticeably empty. the tables are pushed to the side w a wide area for walking in. we went up to order and ordered a pancake, a duck soup, wonton soup, and xiao long baos (soup dumplings) we were originally going to order the rice roll, but was unable to due to a misunderstanding. they brought the food over with utensils. (keep in mind: their english is not the best, so maybe show pics of what you want?) duck soup 3/10 : had a clear and refreshing taste to it, however it was bland. the vegetables were fine, but the duck was very dry. we ended up taking this togo. xiao long baos 6.5/10: this was the highlight of the visit. they were hot and small with a simple meat filling. the sauce they came w was good and sour, however when i asked for chili oil, they only gave me the same sauce. pancake 3/10 : this was dry, and flavorless. it only tasted good when i ate the sausage in combination with the pancake. it was hard to eat & the fillings were not evenly distributed. however this was a decent portion. wonton soup 5/10: these were tiny wontons in soup. it was good at first, but the dish didnt rlly have flavor. total for the order: $27 something when u take an item togo, you have to give the item back to the staff for them to pack it up. there is no designated spot really for trays. this is a walk up and order establishment. im not sure if this is how the dishes are supposed to taste, but we left hungrier than we came. read more

while pricey, they've got lots of fan tuan options. it's been really hard finding something in the area with rice rolls like this and i'm glad for this addition to the plaza. service wasn't THAT slow when i was there, but there were also only two other customers and they seemed pretty fully staffed in the kitchen. their crispy pancake bing was also really good too, and i don't usually enjoy that stuff. hope these guys stick around! read more

This is my favorite breakfast food! Highly recommend the eel, tuna, or Taiwan roll! The ambiance is pretty chill and the service is straightforward. They are open every day but Sunday and close at 3:30 pm, so come early! read more

I agree with some of the reviewers that the wait times can get long. For example, I placed an order around 11am with an estimated pick up time half an hour later. I showed up 45 min later and the food was still being made. One hour turnaround. I also wanted to try the salted soy milk but they ran out by noon. Food wise though it was solid. I got the Taiwan roll, traditional roll, and eel roll. Great flavors. I would have to go back to try out the other snacks. read more

Stopped by Saturday, there were only two groups of people in front me, and when i approach to order, the gentlemen told me that i have to wait 40 min to 50 min for a rice roll, since they will prepare for delivery order first. I had purple rice eel roll. Omg !! after a couple bites I felt in love. The roll was so flavorful with eel and dried shredded pork inside. Intended to have only half but I couldn't stop myself and ended eating the whole roll. And I still want more. I will def go back. Not bad! If you're looking for a Japanese style rice ball this is not it. It's a different style and expect it to be different. You only really need one or two to be full as it's kinda heavy food. The meat is tasty, it just lacks the additional seaweed and furikake. Then again this is not a Japanese rice ball. I think it can use seasoning and the furikake is what gives it that bang. Overall I think the food is okay. I actually ordered 3 pancakes with 3 different types of meats per pancake, but the person that took the order added all the meats in each pancake and it tasted disgusting. It took 20 minutes for the food to come out. I think it doesn't help that I'm not Chinese and I can't speak Chinese. read more

Came here for authentic rice balls. Fresh, great flavor, I have tried 3 of their rice balls (traditional, house brand, and egg bomb) on 3 different occasions, quality is consistent! The sticky rice is done right! Saturday morning is quite busy, but regular days are good. Next time I'll venture out for other categories other than rice balls. read more

This place is amazing. There will be a wait time on the weekends as from what I can see they have a limited amount of staff. I'm a patient person, considering that they don't even have their own official sign on the building, I don't think they knew how busy they were going to be. At one point they did have to turn away folks from placing orders which good for them. Yea ~ that's how good it is especially for the price I waited 30 minutes to get my food. My experience wasn't great customer service wise. When I got up to order the cashier answered their personal phone so I stood there awkwardly for a few minutes. The employee that took over was nice. Rice is not cooked properly or not the right type of rice used to make rice rolls. it's hard , not soft like real authentic rice rolls. Wait time is long even just 5-6 customers in the store. It took about 30 minutes to get our food after we placed the order. Definitely not go back. read more
