Great food and vibe. Right on Lincoln. You can enjoy the music and see all the ppl waking why. I ordered the Paella based on the servers recommendation. They even offer a single person Paella. Service was also great. I am giving them 4 stars because I ordered a Sangria which was not AT ALL authentic. Tasted like it was out of a box and way too sweet. And as a Spaniard restaurant I would expect their Sangria to be authentic. But still food was AMAZING! read more

We stopped by this place during our shopping trip at Lincoln Mall in Miami and oh boy were we in for quite a treat. The drinks came out first, my husband and I ordered the classic Mojitos which were delicious and really strong! Be warned the drinks are really strong! For mains we ordered the carne paella since this place is the self proclaimed paella masters. Unfortunately the paella too forever. Our waiter told us 20 min and it took over an hour, so we were starving and drunk by the time our food came. The is a lot going on around we sat outside, so that kept us occupied. The inside was pretty empty because all the action was outside. Back to the food. The paella was worth the wait!!! I don't know if they went to plant each grain of rice individually because it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our waiter did apologize for the long wait and he kept checking on us and got us even more drunk with their house sangria. At the end we only paid for the paella and 1 mojito, which was still quite a pricy bill. read more

the flatbreads here are amazing!!! we got the chicken, salmon, and idk what the third one was but we ordered numbers 25,26, and 28 lol the crusts were superrr crunchy, the meats and salmon were extremely fresh and savory, and the service was top notch! we also had their cheese board, which was also awesome! the bread was served warm, cheeses were fresh and tasted amazing. overall, i would recommend this place! the interior was also beautiful, and they have outdoor seating. just a few minutes down, you can find the coast :) read more

The paella at this place was amazing!!! certainly one of the better paellas in my young foodie career. The mojitos here were also very nice and refreshing. My only negative to this restaurant was , the day that we were there the food took a very long time to come out , we sat down and ordered food immediately , and were told the paella would take 25 mins. We didn't end up getting it until almost an hour later, thankfully we got some free drinks, to make up with it and the paella was realllllllly damn good. read more

Ambiance was right on Lincoln road. It was very lively! Service was amazing. Our server Rafaela always made sure we had everything. She was very attentive and always came to check up on us. Food was decent. Paella was a little mushy for my liking. Calamari was so amazing that I forgot to take a photo of! FYI: I did not know this but 18% is automatically added into your check. I think their self labeling of 'paella masters' is a SERIOUS misnomer. I usually like to start reviews with the good and end with the bad but in this case I have to contradict that first claim off the bat. It was definitely the worst thing on the menu. We ordered the seafood paella with the lobster addition. I can't say that I enjoyed anything from that plate, from the non crunchy overcooked rice to the massively overcooked seafood (poor lobster.. gave your life for this dish) to the lack of seasoning (I still haven't gotten the salt I asked for). What I would have given for a garlic aioli! I don't recommend you get this dish therefore can't recommend you come here. Maybe it's my fault for not spotting a tourist focused business right away. But there were a few ok things on the menu such as the flatbread, croquetas and ceviche (after that first fishy bite the rest was not bad). I won't even mention sweating like a marathoner during the meal (guess I did) eating outside under a tent in the Miami heat but I guess that's par for the course in the city. Delicious cuisine at Tapelia!! The seafood paella was to die for! Unfortunately the steak salad was served very very late however they gave us all complimentary sangrias because of this delay. The other courses were amazingly delicious tasty flavorful with beautiful presentation!!! The cocktails were so pretty and refreshing. Empanadas were very good - we ordered all 4 fillings. Unfortunately Paella was a big disappointment. Ordered seafood version and rice was overcooked and mushy. Today Saturday, I went with my son and his wife to Tapelia, what a wonderful experience we had, we were attended by Rafaela, what an awsome welcome and attention she gave us. Recommended the best choices of food and drinks, and very attentive to any needs we have all the time we were there. The food was delicious and the menu was full of various types of plates. My first time visiting Tapelia while on 2022 Spring Break in Miami. It was just about sunset and was worn out from partying and the sun so needed a quiet spot for a quick cocktail and lite eats. We started off with the oysters which were nice and fresh. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. Being from Fort Lauderdale and having grown up in Miami, I've had my fair share of paellas. Of course when I saw this on the menu, I talked my friends into getting it since it was family style eating. I wasn't very happy with it, rice was very sticky and the large shrimp on top had the shells on and were not cleaned or deveined. My friends weren't very excited about it either but the flavors were there. Seemed like the rice was over cooked but again great flavors. I would definitely try them again, the service was great, hostess welcoming and the oysters were fresh. read more

Emil was detailed in waking us through the menu and provided excellent service, he answered all our questions and recommended the delicious paella with lobster - there was also a lovely waitress who helped us crack open the lobster and walked us through how to do it ourselves! Another wonderful dinner that we enjoyed in Miami Fl for Naj's birthday getaway on July 30th, 2023. We ate in an area outside designated for the restaurant. It was a great outdoor area that was filled with excitement and bustle. The waiter offered some options for us on the menu. He knew the menu very well. The food was so rich with flavor. **VEGAN SCAM** Items displayed as "Vegan" have DAIRY IN THEM!!! My wife has a dairy allergy and wanted to order something that said it was vegan so we could make sure it was dairy-free. It took 3 asks of the waitress and manager to ensure that there is in fact dairy products in the "vegan" options on the menu. Had we not asked, we would have put her at risk of anaphylactic shock! Yes, the area is super touristy so I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I was strolling down Lincoln Road on a Monday evening and looked at the menus from several different restaurants before sitting down here. I ordered the Tapelia sangria, which was really good. Not too sweet. Love eating the alcohol-soaked fruit at the bottom of my drink. For my main course, I got the garlic shrimp entree which came with a side of rice and a side salad. Perfect flavor and generous portions. A little pricey for the food, but the drinks were surprisingly inexpensive. Service was good too, although they do add an automatic 20% gratuity to checks now, just an FYI. I'd come back here if I'm in the area again. read more

Service by Emi was outstanding. All interactions were with a genuine smile and interest in providing the best experience for us. We ordered the Seafood Paella. Very good on all counts including the fresh lobster, large and small shrimp, large and small clams and calimari. Wtih so much going on it is easy to have some of these become dry by the time it comes to the customer. But each item was the way it was intended and nothing was dried or over cooked. read more

Went here for a date evening and their food was good. Service was good, it wasn't too busy, and the food came out standard time. The paella was large enough to split between two, and very flavorful. The croquettes were also tasty, however there was one flavor that was too "gooey" for my preference. I would recommend, and there is lots to visit within walking proximity. read more

The past Sunday, July 14 we went to the Tapelia restaurant to celebrate my mom's 80 birthday, We couldn't sit inside the restaurant because there was a soccer play and we sat outside but the food was good, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was nice. When we sang Happy Birthday to my mom, the manager of the restaurant brought a bottle of prosecco to cheer! I recommend this restaurant. read more

The food was just okay. I honestly think the food at Cheesecake Factory down the road would have been similar. Service was absolutely terrible. Service was extremely slow, I assume that's because 20% gratuity is automatically added so no effort is required. There are plenty of other restaurants in this area, I would look elsewhere read more

This was one of my favorite places in Miami. The wait staff was amazing and so friendly. My friend and I were waiting on a tour for an hour or and we found this place. I had breakfast on our cruise so I only order a drink. The sangrias are wonderful and my friend ordered churros and a mimosa. After a while we were given complimentary sangrias. I think I just love Miami and the hospitality. Great restaurant and wonderful staff. read more

Tapelia's founder Juan Miguel Perez, comes from a working class family in Spain. He is the youngest male out of 8 brothers and sisters.Being such a large family it was difficult to make food for everyone so Paella was a great option as it could feed the whole family without having to use many pots or pans. Paella is a very typical dish in Spain but everyone at home has their own way or twist to the recipe. No one cooks like your mum or grandma so this is what Tapelia is about. Bringing those flavours back that Miguel enjoyed when he was a child with his whole family at the table. Having started sharing his love for food around the local areas of Spain, things started to progress and after years of success Miguel decided to branch out and cross the pond to bring his flavours of Spain to a totally different culture and bringing Spain a little bit closer to those there.
