The restaurant has a very nice bar. The restaurant is opened and very noisy. The prices are upscale as is the restaurant. I order the scallops. For a price of $39.00. We the entrée was delivered it looked very small because it only covered half the plate. I was expecting at least 6 large scallops instead, there were 4 small scallops. This should have been listed as an appetizer instead of a meal. Glad I tried this place . For the price and quantity of food there are a lot of better places. I have been here a few times, mostly for Happy Hour. Last night my husband and I went for dinner. One of my favorites here is the sangria. It is by far the best I have had. Most of the time there is cinnamon in it which is unique, but last night I didn't get that same hint. Instead there was lime taste which I absolutely loved!! I love citrus so having a citrus tasting sangria was delicious. I had to pace myself because I would have drank it too fast. I also had the bangin shrimp tacos and rice and beans. If you like spicy these are for you! The shrimp were huge and dominated the taco. The rice and beans had a nice kick to them. Overall I really enjoyed the food and drinks. read more

First time there & it was lunchtime. The food was really good. Ruben has a lot of thick meat. The cheeseburger wrap was a little small but delicious. The pretzel bites & mushrooms were good (mushrooms a little small -but a lot of them). We think the waiter may have been new. Only a couple of things he didn't get right but was still pleasant. Looks like they have a full bar and a nice selection of drafts that seem reasonably & competitively priced for other bars in the area. We came here for dinner with out of town friends and sat outside. We sat next to a group of guys who were drunk and so loud. At one point I asked them to be quieter, as we were eating dinner and they argued with us. One of them even worked there. As an employee, you need to understand that this is a place of business and people are paying for their meal. Even seeing all of this, the restaurant staff kept serving them drink after drink. They smoked right next to the table as well with no regard to anyone else eating there. I believe they need to stand 50 ft from the building. When we left, they patronized us and yelled "have a good night." While the food was good, I feel like the restaurant didn't care about their patrons. I told the hostess and she said "makes sense, they are loud." I hope the restaurant who kept serving them beer after beer knowing how drunk and loud they are make sure they get home safely. Food is not the best quality and the restaurant is very loud. More of an atmosphere location for socializing instead of a great restaurant.

I have to say that in this season of Covid with faces covered and people being short with one another...Chuck (the GM) was an absolute pleasure and one of the nicest people we've met in a while. There were 3 of us, 2 of us loved our order, but 1 order was off. Chuck replaced the meal ASAP and brought a free beer! We will definitely be visiting more often. read more

We really enjoy eating at Taps. We go on Tuesday nights, which is kids eat free night, and the waitstaff is always so attentive. Very family friendly. The food always tastes fresh - I normally get the salmon and a double salad with the citrus vinaigrette and it's delicious every time. The salmon is never over-cooked and they make their dressings in-house. Great place for lunch and dinner!! read more

Went to Taps because it is fairly close to where we live. First impression, the place was packed for a Friday night. We got a buzzer and placed on the wait list without an eta of when a table is expected to open. We waited outside as the bar was filled. Over 40 minutes later, got a spot at the bar before our buzzer went off. We ordered cocktails, mine was delicious. Then ordered the fried mushrooms which were pretty good. Then we shared hot garlic wings and the bangin shrimp tacos. I recommend the bangin shrimp tacos. The place had a band at 9:30 pm which made the place unbearable to relax. The place turned into a night club as drunk adults filled the bar area and dancing area. It was a struggle to get to the restroom. Would love to see the band again but maybe at a bigger venue. On another note, there was an extremely drunk guy next to me at the bar that made inappropriate sexual comments to me. The bartender must have told the manager because the manager apologized to me then cut the drunk guy off. read more

Tonight we decided to try out Taps Bar and Grill. It's nestled inside the Winn Dixie Shopping center with some other small shops. Taps is located just of County Road 210 in St. John's County. The inside is very spacious. There's Big Screen Tv's Everywhere. The atmosphere was exciting. It's the night of the GA/FL Playoffs. Everyone inside was chatting and laughing and Enjoying the night. Our server was on point. She attended to our every need. John had the Auhi Fish Tacos with chips, Fried Pickles, & Fried Pickles. The turn around was so fast. Food was Hot and Delicious .
