Eggs, bacon and tortilla tasted funny- tortilla was falling apart. They can do better
    Ashlie E.

I was trying to cut these people some slack since I know a lot has been going on due to the COVID-19 crisis but so much just disappointed me here that I felt I needed to share. I tried this since it is close to where I work and there are not many other places to get tacos around but I won't be trying this again and instead will just go to Donn's BBQ down the road because I can always depend on their price, quality and consistency. I went while they were pretty slow in the morning, about 9:30. It's hard to get to since it's next to a small gas station and there is always a full parking lot for the people needing gas. Not very welcoming when you walk up, they charged me more than what the menu pricing was (1.50 it says per taco.. ordered 1 beans and cheese and 1 bacon and eggs and she charged me 4$... there goes your tip and I love to tip, I'm very generous) the tortillas were falling apart/smelled bad, eggs did not taste good, bacon tasted like it was made on an uncleaned surface, beans were bland- the overall quality of the tacos I ordered to try were not good at all... I could go on. Like I mentioned, I will not be going back. I'm now at work for the day and I'm still hungry because since they smelled funny, I threw most of them away. :( Oh, well- guess I will wait until lunch.

The mango lassi was overly sweet, and the salted lassi made our 9yo's face contort into a shape I didn't realize was possible. It also took quite a long time to get our order; we saw a lot of people who must have been delivery drivers picking up order after order as we waited about 25-30 minutes for our food. This wasn't great given we were the only customers actually eating at the location. The staff themselves were quite nice, but ultimately I need to score on the food and the time it took to receive it, both of which have room for improvement.

We ordered chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, chooza kebab, vegetable samosas, and butter naan. Overall I would say the food is great for Austin standards. I grew up in Houston and am used to the quality of Aga's and this place isn't quite there. I'm also used to halal meat and I don't believe this place uses halal meat so it's a little more tough than expected for the chicken tikka and butter chicken curries. But as we know there aren't many great options for Indian food in Austin, so with that being said I would recommend this spot. As a desi, if you're ever missing home food then this is the spot for you. Plenty of options and a large variety beyond the basic options that we picked lol.

We have had our fair share of disappointments by the time we braved this adventure yesterday. Thankfully, this spot has restored our faith in good Indian-Chinese once again. The dumplings were incredible - the skin was thin and well-steamed with a generous amount of flavorful stuffing. The hot n sour soup was spicy. And the chili paneer was absolutely delicious - in a thick gravy that had been seasoned well. The pricing was quite reasonable and the quantities were filling. There is plenty of parking in this convenience store lot making it an easy trip out. The gentleman at the window was nice.

Service was friendly. We ordered three items: - chicken biryani - stir fried rice dish with lots of spices, not too hot. The chicken was pretty good but I wish there was a bit more. - chicken korma - tasty curry that comes with a side of rice. Also wish there was a bit more. - garlic naan - unfortunately it was quite soggy, tasty though! They're still fairly new so are probably working things out. The portions are a bit smaller than other places, but they do charge less too, so that may be why. Overall the flavors are good and I'd recommend giving them a try if you're nearby. Haven't tried the dumplings yet and those are looking good!

I think some are open in the morning/afternoon and others in the afternoon/evening. I ordered an al pastor taco and chips with queso from CJ's tacos right before they closed at 7pm. The taco was good (a little greasy) but much better once you add the green sauce they serve with it on top. The queso was really tasty, like a better version of the tostitos queso. The food trucks are in a circle and surround a playground in the middle. It is a cool venue and while I wouldn't call it particularly nice, it is fairly clean. After the taco appetizer, we ordered gnocchi pomodoro and the casarecce with basil pesto and tomatoes from Artipasta with tiramisu for dessert. The pesto was good, but lacking in flavor a bit. The gnocchi were delicious, great texture and a wonderful tomato sauce. We honestly should have placed two orders for the gnocchi and skipped the casarecce. My friends liked the tiramisu but said it was a bit different from a traditional tiramisu. We wanted to try a vodka pizza from Day's Pizza but they were completely sold out for the day (no dough left). We tried the paneer entree and aloo paratha from the Desi Spot. The food took awhile to come out and I would have liked a few more pieces of paneer but it was all delicious. Overall a cool spot and a nice way to try a bunch of different food trucks and cuisines at once. Just check the hours for the food trucks you want to try before you go.

First time so we got a few things; a chorizo breakfast burrito, two tamales (a verde and roja) and the pastor tacos. The burrito was delicious. Eggs, chorizo, black beans...but the best part is that the burrito was griddled with a layer of cheese on the outside to make it crispy and even more delicious. It was also drizzled with a delicious chipotle sauce. Fantastic stuff. Both tamales had very nice and tender masa that wasn't dry, and the fillings tasted very homey and familiar. The pastor tacos might be the best thing here, the meat is seasoned really well and cooked perfectly. Pork can get dry if not cooked right but these tacos were flavorful and succulent. Now that I live down south I've really started to enjoy the robust food truck scene down here, and I have to say that this has gotta be up there for some of the tastiest tacos/truck eats I've had. Ygor is a super sweet guy too, so make sure you say hi and chat if you can! Definitely give it a shot!

That is ridiculous. They told my husband that they received a big phone order... well maybe it's an organizational problem, but take care of the people who are waiting in 90 degrees heat first? Or maybe instead of saying "your order is coming soon" 6x, give us a free water or soda to apologize. I'm not going to tell you how to run your business. The food was good, the chicken quesadillas were actually the best, but not worth $37. The nice part was that there is a playground on site but after an hour of wait, my toddler didn't want to play nor eat anymore. Epic fail. I won't be back.
