I had a very disappointing experience with an employee named Fred at Target in Culver City. Instead of helping customers during his shift, he appeared more focused on shopping for store items for himself while on the clock. When I politely asked for assistance, he was dismissive, unhelpful, and acted bothered that a customer needed help. His attitude came across as rude and completely unprofessional. Customer service should be a priority, especially at a major retail store, but this experience felt like employees could ignore customers without consequences. Fred's behavior reflected poorly on the entire store and created an unwelcoming environment. Corporate management seriously needs to review how employees are representing the company at this location and address situations like this immediately. Employees who refuse to assist customers and misuse company time should not be representing the brand. read more

My usual target for shopping, today I went in with my 3 year old to buy essentials and we walked out with that plus a mondo llama DIY cardboard toy thing worth $20. I did register check out due to paying with cash. EVERYTHING was paid for. Upon exiting security stopped me asking for receipt. I questioned her because they NEVER check receipts. Plus the people ahead of me had more expensive items and where not asked for a receipt. She said "I need to verify you paid for that" i said its my kids toy why wouldnt i pay for it plus its only $20 ask the cashier (cashier was closest to the exit) she said no i need to see your receipt. I said fine showed her my receipt she noticed everything was paid for. I kindly asked for a refund on all items because i wanted to take my business elsewhere after an embarrasing moment for a $20 paid toy in front of my child and they refused. SCREWWW YOU TARGET. Don't like target on principle. Many principles. Corporate, satanic ads, it's a rip off. Today at apple I mean target. I just needed a cord for my laptop. Apple sells ones that are exactly the same as off brand but with a 200% mark up. Same wattage same everything. Employees I'm guessing are told to promote those since that was the option offered to me. Just emblematic of the whole company. No they shouldn't be looted obviously but this is no longer the affordable Walmart alternative they used to be. Just no point to this store. I was a regular shopper in Vegas. The curbside pick up was a win! There's only in store pick up here. I did fine a product for a lower price, so I ordered online. It is in the mall and without an external entry from the street level parking. I short walk. I wish there was curbside, but the prices are still right. read more

Honestly, not the worst target. But as a rule, I won't shop at any businesses that do receipt checking. It just drives me crazy. I try to go out of my way to return my cart and instead the guy taking my cart becomes a hassle about checking my receipt. Just let me leave with the things I paid for. I usually go out of my way to come to this store. I've always had a pleasant experience, until today. I asked for help in home goods, and no one ever showed up. I went through self checkout, punched in my Target Circle member number, and scanned my 6 items. Charging them to my Target wallet. As I was walking out, I was stopped and asked for my receipt. I don't want to say I was profiled... but no one else was stopped. Maybe it was the high dollar item? Or maybe it's the reason I bypass two Target stores to come to this one, where everything from hair gel to detergent IS NOT locked behind plexiglass? IDK. I came in today to buy a kitchen accessory set for a play kitchen. I was happy to find good deals on scented candles. The parking is easy and free, the isles are vast, the store is spacious, and the bathrooms need more attention. Lots of self-checkout stations! This location has a Starbucks inside, making shopping much more fun, AND the drinks are cheaper here than in a regular Starbucks store. I paid only $3.35 for an iced chai latte with almond milk, whereas I usually pay around $5 for the same drink at a regular Starbucks shop. read more

If you do drive up and ask to use your own bags, get ready for the employee to just throw what you bought on top of the bags you brought. This has happened to me 4/5 times. They charge $1 even if you only need 1 bag, so to save the small amount of money and a bit of plastic by bringing your own, you end up at home bagging your own stuff that has been strewn across your backseat or trunk or bagging your stuff in the parking lot like an idiot. If you're not going to provide the service, don't offer it on your site. I'd go in if the service way any better inside the store. : ( read more

Spacious and well stocked Target. Stopped by to pick up an online order and decided to ship around the store. They do a much better job of stocking shelves than before when most of the shelves in home decor were empty. I appreciate the checkout at this location because there are plenty of cashiers so the wait was t bad at all. Even though the outdoor lot is big, there are limited parking spaces during the weekend. The target is located in a big plaza with a lot of other merchants like restaurants discount store etc. It's very spacious and bright inside, most racks are well stocked, though few selves are near empty or not properly labeled. read more

Honestly I try to only come to this target when I need something as it's close by, HOWEVER....the management here is pretty rude (I didn't not ask to speak to a manger one just appeared at check out), I'm not sure her name but blonde short hair. Just extremely short and just not a good vibe. It's truly never that deep. Retail is difficult and I try to give some grace but that interaction definitely put a sour taste in my in my mouth. Coming to Marina del Rey from Pasadena, I was very disappointed that there are no freestanding Target stores unless you go to Culver City. The Westfield Mall store is so complicated to find, because it's on the second floor above Best Buy. Parking is underground but the signage is horrible. Once you get there, the store isn't particularly well-stocked. Not worth all the time it takes to park, etc. Very disappointing. read more

Starting during the enormously stressful COVID times the staff at this store are exceptionally friendly and willing to go the extra mile (the downstairs to hunt a bottle of DAWN for me the first time), and share tips for getting the promotions. First and foremost, I stopped going into stores 2 years ago. I'm not discounting some of the reviewers experienced but they're not mine. I order on the app and do drive up. My drive up experiences have been routinely good. That being said, I've been here, at least twice, for drive up service. Never had an issue. It's efficient and straight-forward. I've never had to wait too long and never have had an issue finding a drive up spot to wait in. If I had any issue at all, it would be that this lot is busy. People seem to always be here meandering and sauntering through the lot: But that's not Target's fault. It's stupid people, doing stupid (careless walking) things. (Walking around and through moving cars isn't too bright). And for that, I subtract zero stars. Their stock selection is usually pretty solid and I can often get everything at this one location. This isn't my go-to location only because I have 2 closer ones but if they're out of an item.... Y'all smart, you get it. And as an aside, this was the only Target we had in this part of LA when I was growing up. It's been operating right here for at least 30 years. How's that for longevity. Everyone be aware DONOT BUY GIFT CARD FOR ANY OCCASION. If you purchase be aware that Target will not help if your loved ones inquire about cards not having the said funds. Customer service on the card will send you a replacement but you have to get on the phone for four hours and then you must email the company Amex to replace it and wait 3-5 weeks After you receive the replacement those cards may work for a purchase but any balance left on the card will be lost because the card doesn't work again. Called again but they said there are funds but no merchant will honor Save the headache give cash or check when giving cash for xmas. This is the location I prefer to patronize versus some others within proximity. Usually, this location has a nice selection for a reasonable value, is well stocked, and allows immediate unrestricted access to basic items. They've only recently started securing some of the alcoholic beverages. The associates I have encountered are usually helpful when I need assistance but I rarely need assistance and I rarely encounter an associate when I do need assistance - not sure what to make of that. The restrooms are well-maintained, parking is not the best but I don't mind parking near "BED BATH & BEYOND" and getting in some extra steps. read more

This Target is pretty bad and I won't be back. Parking is a nightmare and you will be walking. I saw people with canes and walkers parked far away because there are not enough handicapped spaces. The place is a good size but organized in a bizarre manner. The toy section is terrible, I so miss Toys R Us. There is no one on the floor to help you and good luck finding a cart--go into the parking lot and grab one. Most of the check out is automated, which I can't stand. I like people. So, you can wait in line for 20 minutes to deal with a human or you can attempt self check out and start screaming when nothing scans. Not fun. Not relaxing. Get me out of here. read more
