No thanks. I've been to many Targets, and this one isn't the best. I probably won't come back to this location. They recently remodeled, however they also lowered their available inventory, so some of the basic things I was looking for (like colored paper and a file box) weren't available. It's also really chaotic and is way too hot inside. One good thing I noticed was they have some good items in their discount stands at the front, though. read more

Gift card review. Don't buy them. They are not secure. My dad lost $100. He gave me a gift card i took it into the store to use it, the cashier even helped me scratch off the cover on the security code and then I was told there was a zero balance on the card. I called the number on the card to report fraudulent activity and was told the card can be used by scanning it and not using the security code! Then they hung up on me! No more gift cards for this family and a lot less shopping at Target now too. Beyond poorly handled. read more

THIS IS GOING to be long!! So I went in Target for the "4 day pre black Friday sale" and the people who work here had no idea what was going on! I head over to electronics and I ask for the netbook and Dsi that are in the ad. Im told " well I'm not sure what to do because I don't have the key. I guess I will go look for it". So I think to myself "I GUESS YOU WILL". About 2 minutes later another girl comes over to me and I tell her I'm waiting for someone to return with the key so I can purchase the netbook and Dsi that are in the circular. She pulls out a key and proceeds to tell me " we don't have the netbook because we got rid of all our netbooks to make more room. We don't like netbooks here". I simply ask "why wouldnt you carry an item thats in your sales ad". Shes confused and says "we have 1 netbook left and I can see if that's the one on sale." We go to get the netbook and stop by the locked case with the video games inside. She ask me which one I wanted and I told her again "the one in the circular that's 119.00- it says WHITE color only. She insists they are all on sale so that color doesn't matter. I ask again about the prices and she confirms "YES that are all on sale for 119.99". However, upon going to the register, after I pay and look at my reciept -it wasn't on sale!!! She had a hard time doing a refund because she didn't have enough cash to give me because the store had just opened. Long story short It took me an hour to but 2 items in Target! Ruth was able to access it through the target guest wifi instead of using my Verizon connection. If it weren't for her suggestion, I would have not been able to use the gift card at that time. Your customer service worker calling out "YO next customer" to the line of people is so unprofessional. Sunday night 7/28/19 about 6 pm, male, wearing a maroon colored shirt. Then telling me it's CA law that I can't return a damaged air mattress when I'm fact it is NOT the law. THEN, the rude girl with the dreadlocks questioning my receipt with attitude as I walked out. This Target is a portal to hell. I just stood in a check out line for over twenty minutes. I saw an old lady trip over someone's basket on the ground. People abandoned their carts. I abandoned hope. A few items were "on sale" so I grabbed them. As I'm checking out, I'm trying to bag my items and I realize the total is over what I had calculated. I have a line behind me so I pay and leave. One item that I double checked was on sale and not simply misplaced cost me an extra $15 and two other items weren't as advertised. I have kids with me and waiting for customer service to fix the price is a choir. If it was one item that was wrong I'd be less annoyed but it was 3 items. You have to make sure your employees are changing tags after a sale or you will get sued for false advertising. Over paying $20 is not okay when you have a family and you're only working part time to finish your masters degree. Sighhh read more

I was very impressed with the friendly service and expert advice from Jason in the Electronics dept. I gave him my criteria for the TV I wanted and he quickly found the TV that met my needs. He held the TV in the department while I shopped and I was able to ring everything with him. He also helped enroll me into the Red card, which further saved me money. He was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly- I wish every associate in every store were as helpful as he was. Unfortunately he is an exception to the rule in customer service in general anymore. Customer service in all stores everywhere needs more Jason's! read more

I love Target, but this is one of the worst I've been to. It's big and has everything other Target stores should have, but it's SO understocked. Every time I come here and walk down the home decor, frame, and kitchen aisles, they are totally bare. I always go down those aisles to see if there's anything that I want, but there's always just one or two things there. I have no idea why they're always so understocked, but that's what this Target is like. The parking lot is pretty small, also. So you're best off just parking in the back. read more

You can spend money in a store, be nice to everyone, and once in a while you will come across a lazy worker and a minimum wage supervisor who thinks they are important.......smh and these people really think they deserve $15 an hour. This is a shame. Walking into sooooo much alcohol in the main walkway is horrible. Why? I have been coming here for 20 years and changing the store this much is not a good move. Drive up pickup is very delayed. Currently, it shows orders ready in 4 hours and after 5 hours you still won't have an update. when you call no one answers the phone . With the current situation it is understandable but please update the times to show 6 or More hours for orders to be ready. If they are done early you look like a hero! It seems like the Target check out experience is only getting worse. The last time I visited they only had two cashiers working and both lines were long. Then one cashier had to go on her break or lunch so they shut the line down without opening another lane. Of course they made more self check out registers, because God forbid they pay employees to actually work. At the time, hey were also in the midst of remodeling the store, and I don't think it is wise to move the alcohol up closer to the front of the store. read more

The remodel made this Target go from moderate to god awful. Nothing is in stock on the shelves, stuff is all over the place, the new layout makes no sense and will have you going in a maze, there's never anyone around to help, there's not enough cashiers. Wow. I am completely appalled at how poorly the management staff treats their customers. I was Christmas shopping for my coworkers and I purchased a bottle of Johnny Walker. The cashier not only took forever to scan the 2 people in front of me, she dropped my bottle of Johnny Walker. I politely asked, "I would appreciate it if I could get a new bottle". And she says "Really? I think it's okay" All I did was ask for a new bottle in exchange for the one she just dropped in front of my eyes. She then calls her manager and this woman named Faith comes by. Faith then talks to the cashier and opens it and says "It looks fine, no scratches or whatever..." Again, all I did was ask for a new bottle because I didn't feel comfortable giving a dropped bottle of alcohol to my coworker. Whether it was broken or not, seeing the bottle drop in front of my eyes didn't make me feel comfortable in wanting to give it as a present. As a manager, Faith should have said "I'm so sorry Miss, We will get you a new bottle right away. We apologize for the inconvenience". Instead, Faith says "You know what, I don't need your attitude" and gives me the hand to my face and walks away from me. She calls someone in the back to get a new bottle, and as the nice gentleman comes with the new bottle, Faith points to me from afar and says "Give it to her" (with the security device still on it). So I said, "The security device is still on it, you have to take it off" (or else the alarm will go off if I try to step outside) Faith begrudgingly walks over to get the device off while talking under her breath. I'm sorry, but Target needs to do a better job at training their managers if someone like Faith is supposed to represent a manager. Please implement better customer service from ALL of your employees. That was the worst experience at this Jefferson Target. read more

Had a terrible experience at Culver City target today. I was looking for a t-shirt in size L. It wasn't available on the floor but said it's in stock online. I asked a male employee with a scanner to find it for me. He said he didn't work in the department so I needed to find someone who did. Then I asked to female employees and they didn't have a scanner. They said I needed to find someone who did. So I walk all the way to the returns desk and ask for size L while trying to complain about this attitude. Daisy at the front desk started smiling when a complained about the 3 employees. When I asked what was funny about it that made her smile, she said I'm not laughing. That continued for the next minute or so when she said it's not available, still smiling every time she looked at me, not in a pleasant way. I left the 2 tees that I had already picked at the counter and left. I hate my experience from today and congratulations on losing a customer. read more

Staff is always very friendly and helpful, pretty good selection of standard target products, though we did notice A LOT of empty shelves. It made it feel a little dingy and made us wonder why lots of items were not stocked or merchandised nicely. Could've just been the day that we were there, but no complaints other than that! My boyfriend and I went to Target tonight. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I've been extra cautious of any outings but I felt they were handling the realities to the best of their abilities - cautiously and with grace. I felt safe, which isn't the same I can say about many stores. We accidentally left a bag with the cashier and she waited for us in front of the store to make sure it was returned to us. Even in times of trouble, I felt their safety (for customers and employees) and customer service were top of mind. read more

Not sure how everyone before my post gives this store less than 5 stars. This store and it's customer service is hands down wonderful. I'm big on customer service and how you are treated. I'm going to a wedding soon and have been looking online for a dress to wear. I dont like going to the Target at the Westfield shopping center in Culver City as its always messy, no selection and the employees there dont want to work. So I went on target.com and found the dress however it's sold out online and every local store except this one. I called Saturday morning and talked to a Target team member by the name of Karen, who was able to locate this dress(the last one) for me and place it on hold. When I arrived at the store later on that day I was greeted and helped out by Ely . Both Karen and Ely were awesome in helping me locate this item. Even the other target ream members greet you and the store is always clean. I'll definitely be coming back to shop again. They got a loyal customer at this location!! read more

This is the worst Target ever. There are Target stores a few miles north or south of this location that offer excellent service. On my visit the "manager" made up a price for a product that clearly said sample, no explanation. I then went to ORDER PICK UP and attempted to pick up an order. I was told they don't normally do order pick up but they would make a one time exception for me. Again I was at the order pick up booth, with a giant order pick up sign over it. I emailed customer service and the response I received was basically that they sometimes make up prices and order pick up doesn't do order pick up . Target's locations are convenient, but you can drive a little farther and get better prices with your bad customer service at Walmart. read more

Alyssa in the order pick up/guest service department was horrible. Ruined the experience to this store! Had a nasty attitude then whole time while helping us and rolled her eyes at us numerous times. Completely rude ungrateful little blob of a woman. She needs to be retrained in how to treat GUESTS and CUSTOMERS. I had a whole cart full of Hearth and Hand by Magnolia items and her sour puss attitude made me hand the all back to her so she could put them back. She literally THREW them and one being a 40lb bathroom rack and shelf into the drop boxes for go backs. Now I know why so many items ship damaged. She's horrible read more

I didn't have the sku on my return item and she took care of it, no questions asked and no attitude. People who treat you with respect and love need to be well compensated. Hi, I'm Christina Y and I have a serious Target addiction. Sometimes I'll try not to go into a Target for a full week, but I always fail. And I know that there is a bigger, new Target just down the road, but I keep coming back to this loyal location despite its crowded parking lot and the fact that the store often doesn't have what I'm looking for. Despite its faults, I keep going back because there is something bizarrely soothing about wandering down the aisles at this Target when I'm bored, killing time, or stressed. I know this Target like the back of my hand -- I could probably take up a part time job here if I wanted to and be named Target Team Member of the Month within my first two days. From cheap clothes (Mossimo basics are the best) to plastic organizer bins to DVDs to cleaning supplies, Target makes me feel like everything's ok when my world is going crazy. Even the buttery popcorn smell that hits me in the face when I step in the door soothes me in a weird way. The power of Target allows me to overlook unfortunate parking and less than chipper service. And that is why I am a full-on addict. read more

Whenever I'm really cranky, I start to review Target. I consider Target to basically epitomize everything that is wrong with America, and I absolutely loathe the place. As the past 24 hours have basically been an onslaught of bad news and my crankiness level is climbing to off the charts proportions, I'm giving my perpetual Target review another shot. I usually end up deleting my review because my hate for Target is so multi-faceted, the review gets too convoluted and I get even crankier. Nothing makes me grouchier than being unable to articulate my thoughts. So, on with it. Target is first and foremost, an emporium of over-packaged, cheaply-made crap that encourages Americans to think of t-shirts as things that can be thrown away, season after season, and to think of toilet brushes as things that snap off and whirl down the toilet. They treat their employees badly (it's just Walmart with better design), and their products are produced at the expense of the developing world and American Commonwealths most of us have never heard of (Saipan, anyone?). Their customer service is the pits; forget about trying to return anything here. The shampoo they sell, their toilet bowl cleaners, and the ice cream on the shelves all have virtually indistinguishable ingredient lists. On the plus side, it's convenient to be able to pick up underwear (which, come to think of it, is probably made out of the same weird petrochemicals their shampoos are made of), a tooth brush and a digital camera in one fell swoop. read more

My friend came for some storage containers and the size he was looking for was not on the shelf. He asked one of the employees there and she scanned the barcode and said it was out back. We were instructed to go to Guest Services where it'll be for pickup. When we got done shopping the cashier took good care of us. Got what we needed. read more

My girlfriend and I went to Target yesterday (01-10-2013) and it was an absolute mess. We arrived at this Target at 11:45'ish in the morning and figured we could avoid all of the lines by not going during peak hours. Some might say that we hit this Target up at the beginning of lunchtime but there are no real businesses located around this area so that cannot be the case. We pulled into the lot and had to search for parking. Upon exiting our vehicle we had to walk past some guy with a stand set up asking for money for some fake Save the Children foundation. We walked in and luckily found what I was looking for. My girlfriend was looking for a particular item but they were completely sold out. We walked to the registers and were shocked at how few registers were open and how long the lines were. We looked around and you could see people checking their watches to see what time it was & to calculate how long they had been in line. A woman in front of us turned around and made it a point to tell us that she comes to this Target on Saturday's and the lines are never this bad. I was shocked that Target was not opening more registers. I believe at this point Target had 4 registers open and the line of people trying to check out was 5-7 people deep at each register and people had some full carts. Finally another register opened and I made a mad dash for the open lane. A customer with a cart that was literally filled jumped ahead of me. So here I am with 3 items waiting behind someone who has a full cart. The person with the full cart never said 'You only have 3 items, go ahead and jump in front of me.' The customer with the full cart ended up checking out with a bill of over $500.00, who buys that much stuff from Target all at once? What really drove me crazy was the cashier checking this person out. 1 item gets scanned and 1 item goes in a shopping bag, the cashier was slower than watching grass grow. I am not sure why we ended up coming to this Target in the first place but I can say after this experience I will avoid this Target at all costs and so should you. read more

Last night I was at Target, looking for shoes to match a dress. I overhear a dude saying "these are the kinda shoes you wear when you smoke crack" in a matter of fact voice I giggle and keep walking. Next aisle, he's coming towards me at a quick clip..."it makes you wanna dress up like a woman" he says to the doddering man walking behind him. I'm floored. He's in white jeans, a tight white affliction tee, and a black trucker hat that can't hide how old and scarred his face is. This guy is in his 60's maybe, and his face looks totally familiar. I chalked it up to being high and walked on. I see him again in the checkout line, talking way too loud and trying to be way too funny. He's creeping people out, and the other guy with him keeps saying how confused he is. I walk out. All night long, I can't get his face out of my head. He's famous. I know it. This morning it hits me. Guilty. I'm guilty of going into Target for some body wash or QTips and end up spending at least $60 on other random sh*t every single time. It can't be helped. This has gotten better though, considering I used to be part of the $100 club! I can seriously cover every single aisle and find something to get for myself or someone else... which brings me to... ... being guilty of spending waaaay too much time there! My single record-breaking time spent at this location is 4 hours - beat that! A complete waste of time! And I'm almost positive half the things I purchased never got used and are still sitting in my cabinet somewhere - do I really need 5 different types of shampoo? I have found a way to avoid multiple-hour-trips... I go during lunch so I'm on a time-limit. This also avoids the ridiculous lack of parking on the weekends or after work... otherwise I'd be driving around forever - I don't think I've given the bird to more people than at that parking lot!!! So the workers aren't that friendly nor are they knowledgeable of where items are located... but I've been there almost every single week for years... so ask me! I'll tell you! Oh... and I'm also guilty of falling victim to the goodies they stick at the end of the registers - oh those impulse buys!, guilty of ordering a Chai Latte from the Starbucks counter and guilty of grabbing a Pizza Hut cheese pizza on the way out.
