I came in last year for two of my kids and we got them all tested and got them glasses. This year we saw Dr. Yana Yu. My 6yr old got her first eye exam, she still confuses some of her letters but did great with the help and patience Dr.Yu had with her. She tried a different approach to get her an accurate prescription and I was very pleased with her. Btw I was just inquiring about my insurance to make sure my daughter was in the plan and got lucky they were not busy and squeezed us in. When Dr. Yanna Yu told us she was moving to a new location 40 minutes from our house, it didn't matter, because she is the only optometrist my family will go to. We have been seeing her for over 10 years and we absolutely trust her. She is so warm, friendly, detailed and is very professional. We cannot say enough positive things about her and our experience all these years. This location is new, clean and the decor is beautiful. We got a couple of prescription glasses and the selection was awesome. In fact, the entire Target Optical staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were also very reasonable. Dr Yanna is the Best I had a pain in one of my eyes few days ago and within few hours I got worse. Had lot of redness, irritation, tears, etc. I started to look for a doctor desperately as I could not bare the pain anymore. I Called my regular eye doctor but she had no time for a walk-in.Then I remembered this practice inside Target store Brea. I walked in asking if a doctor available and also whether they take any walk ins. Doctor Yanna happened to be in the lobby area as she was getting ready to go for her lunch, as soon as she saw me instead of going out to lunch she decided to check my eye situation. Now that's passion for excellent care! She was very kind and took her time to carefully check my eye. She knew I was in a lot of pain so she took extra measures such as giving some numbing agent for my eye to make me fell less painful. Turns out I scratched my eye some how and there's a tissue damage. She prescribed some Antibiotic drops to help rebuild damaged tissues and I felt much better with in 12 hours. Also I went back for a follow up 2 days later to see how its healing. She really did a great job and earned my trust. Im not going my old eye doctor again, instead im going to Dr Yanna! read more

Dr. Yu is such an outstanding doctor. I used to avoid going to eye doctors because the simple process of an exam was so difficult and such a headache. When I sit with Dr. Yu, she makes me feel like I'm a human that has problems with my eyes versus just another client that needs contacts or glasses. I have a great experience every time I visit her from reception to the exam, or whatever the visit may be for. I will never go to another doctor as long as Dr. Yu is here in California, but if I was the one to leave I guarantee I will fly here to see her for my eye exams. Don't underestimate how valuable an experience can be when you are trying to get glasses or contacts.
