Often go here when exercising or just want to sit around in the patio. Whether it's to view your surroundings, enjoying your food and drinks, or do something on your phone. Especially since people rarely use the patio, it's basically my quiet place for me for me to sit around and chill. The drinks are pretty mixed bag if you asked me. I really don't like the coffee drinks here as they taste as if I were to make coffee but forgot to add the creamers. Matcha Coffee is alright but my preferred drink is Peach Me Sweattea, Bootea Shaker, Matcha Thai Milk Tea (mostly because it's different compared to Regular Thai Tea where every Thai Tea for me taste the same, it's nothing special), Horchata Milk Tea and the Shark Bite. I also really like the Buttload of Fries and Karate Chicken and I usually order than Mild but Wild (mostly because I'm not a spicy type of eater). I sort of wished they brought back the Jujitsu Box or whatever it's called because it was basically combines the best of Fries and Chicken but with Rice on the side. That and Spuddies since they leave room for my stomach to try out other foods and beverages. I get it has nothing to do with the place but I really don't like the Tastea app they provided because using it is "troublesome" to put it best. Especially when it comes to logging in. I guess that's the consequences of every food and drink place requiring an app nowdays. Personally, I would rather just order without it, especially if it's places I don't go very often. I'm also worried about this place as I often don't see many people stopping by, I'm usually the only one there or there are one or two customers also there. I think it being located in a corner where traffic can be hectic certainty didn't help either. Been going to Tastea for almost a decade at least. Suddenly today, they would not split the 32oz for us into two cups. We were told it was company policy. Not sure when that changed cause I've been splitting cups for the past 10 years. I offered to pay for the cup and fees but was still told no. Probably new management. I bought another cup to split it myself. I don't know why it's so difficult to split the drink. This was inconsistent since I bought drinks from the Tastea in Cerritos and split the drinks with no issues. After paying for the 20oz cup, they tried to give me an even smaller water cup. I, also appreciate the baristas are friendly, nice and often times provide recommendations on add-on that compliments drinks. It was a welcome surprise for any two drinks purchased, you get a "lunar scratcher" ticket for a promotional prize. We won a prize drink! Yay! From the strawberry milk tea to the peachtea, they are all very good. The caffeine is also very strong. Drink the strawberry milk tea at noon and you won't sleep until 10am the next day. It is very potent, which for caffeine-sensitive people like me, is very unfortunate. Unlike 7leaves however, the prices are high, around the 6-7 dollars range. Been a fan of Tastea for years. My favorite drink of theirs is Watermelon Heaven. It's a watermelon slush with bits of watermelon pieces. It's sweet and refreshing. Perfect for hot days or honestly, everyday. LOL. If you like chamoy and tajin, I would recommend adding it to your drink too!
