AAZA is BACK!! AAZA…read moreand I am ultra excited! They are celebrating this weekend with a Grand Opening Special May 17-18 BOGO FREE All Drinks . Their fresh fruit tea and blends are spectacular. Here are some of their amazing must order fruit drinks! Grapefruit Summer Coconut Jackfruit Pandan Mango Coco Pomelo Passion Fruit Orange Avocado Coco Jackfruit I was a huge fan when they opened in Downey. The fruit drinks are still highly addictive! It's really like drinking fruit in a cup. The service is the best to their abilities and staffing. The Teahouse is inside of a spacious banh mi shop. I love the mural to take cute photos. Come and check out this weekend for BOGO FREE DRINKS!

A traumatic experience…read more The shop is a banh mi place that also sells boba drinks called 'Aaza'. The menu makes it seem like they have a large range of drinks, but they actually only have a couple in each category. My sister and I were disappointed to see that they didn't have any flavored teas, which is what we always get. * Mango Coco Pomelo: 8/10 - real mango fruit * Passion Fruit Orange: 7/10 - couldn't taste the passionfruit flavor so mostly orange * Boba: 8/10 - soft and chewy While my sister was waiting in line to order the drinks, my mom needed to use the restroom really badly. However, in order to use it at all, we needed a receipt to prove that we were customers. We're completely fine with that, but there were about 10 people in front of us and the line was not moving at all. We pointed to my sister who was waiting in line and promised to show them our receipt afterwards, but they still wouldn't let my mom use the restroom. How ridiculous. Another thing we found annoying was how they couldn't adjust the drinks. We just didn't want them to add any garnishes or fruit slices to the drink, but they refused. We found it weird considering it would actually SAVE THEM MONEY not having to add it to our drinks, but okay. The layout of the shop itself was also really unusual. Although they have a beautiful mural on the wall, they only had a couple of normal tables and chairs on the right side while the rest of the place was scattered with cheap, plastic, short chairs. I think the goal was to make the customers feel like they were in Vietnam, but it was just uncomfortable. They're definitely way too low for the older adults and I have no idea how anyone wearing a dress would be able to sit down. Considering how easily you can kick the chairs and the 'tables' were just wooden boards on top of the plastic chairs, it's a lawsuit waiting to happen. After waiting for what felt like forever to order, we also had to wait an additional 15 minutes for our drinks. When they finally came, it was only 1 and we had to wait for them to finish the other drink. When it finally came out, they forgot to add the boba that we paid for so we had to wait an additional couple of minutes. We interacted with 3 workers during our visit there and 2/3 of them were rude. They looked like the owners since they weren't wearing the uniforms and hats that the other workers were wearing. I understand that they just opened, but a couple of things to keep in mind when coming to the shop: - You need the receipt in order to use the restroom - Adjustments cannot be made to your drink whatsoever - Seating is very uncomfortable - Waited in line for 20 minutes to order and 15 minutes to pick up our drinks - Owners were rude Don't think we'll be coming back.

Absolute treat, Da Vien's egg coffee! Now don't get me wrong they have great teas too, but if you…read morehaven't ever tried the egg coffee it is a must. This shop gets very busy and the wait is so worth it, I promise. There are several tables inside, however they also fill up fast, especially during the weekends. Da Vien offers many options with add ons and different sugar levels to fine tune to your taste buds and avoid disappointment. Now let's talk Vietnamese egg coffee! A thick, velvety layer of golden egg cream sits beautifully atop the iced coffee, lightly dusted with cocoa for the perfect finishing touch. The first sip hits you like a tiramisu or creme brulee, it's light and airy, sweet and rich. The whipped egg yolk layer blends nicely with the robust coffee. It completely balances the Vietnamese coffee flavor beneath to create quite the indulgent drink without being overwhelmingly sweet. If you want to experience egg coffee Vietnamese style this is the place to do it!

I got myself a drink while having my dogs with me and when getting inside the car the dogs caused me to spill the drink and I had to go back in to buy another one the barista gave a stank face assuming that I am lying and just wanted a free drink. Bitch I had my credit card on hand willing to pay for another drink at the register. Wtf is this service? Save ur money and Go to a different coffee shop... Shitty barista attitude

Got the Sugar Grove Matcha, 50% sweet. It was different because of the Jasmine infused in the drink but good. Hubbs got the Sweet Cream Cold Brew, he liked it but the drink didn't last long. It was not a lot of coffee in there. Maybe i'll try their Strawberry Matcha and Double Matcha next time since it's so close to my house.

Some are definitely worth trying, while others are just okay. Mango Mellow: Pretty good! I think this is one of their better drinks. It was refreshing and had a nice balance of sweetness without being too sweet or too sour. It had a nice combination of flavors. Strawberry Yuzu: Somehow it was super sour and sweet at the same time. Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea: Pretty simple, but it was made well. I liked that it wasn't overly sweet and the flavors felt balanced. Service: Pretty efficient, sweet, and helpful! Ambiance: Clean, small space with a very casual vibe. You can sit inside or outside, and the windows let in a lot of natural light, making the place feel bright and inviting.

I got this the first time and it was very dense and didn't taste good. Drinks are just right in sweetness. Get at least 75% here and don't go too low. * Ube Matcha Latte 4.5/5 - This was tasty, though I wish the ube flavor came across more. It was very understated. I got Osmanthus Mochi Jelly addon and it was yummy, a cross between a grass jelly and mochi texture with a light sweetness. * Mini Breadsticks 5/5 - These were like crispy banh mi. I like that they were protein-packed with pork floss and pate. * Popcorn Chicken 5/5 - Crispy and delicious popcorn chicken. Their spicy level may be a bit high as I ordered mild, but it was more like a medium (maybe it was just the seasonings being concentrated at the top). * Pink Guava Strawberry Tea 5/5 - Very refreshing and sweet drink, hint of guava and strawberry, not strong taste. * Blended Oreo Brulee 5/5 - Creamy, eggy, sweet goodness. It was a real treat. Your mouth is like Oreo-land with bouncy egg custard.

Stopped by Taty's Specialty Coffee in Westminster and it's a great spot if you're a matcha lover…read more The place has a clean, cozy setup and felt like a solid place to hang out or grab a drink on the go. The person helping us was friendly and got our drinks made pretty quickly even with a bit of a line. We got the Double Matcha and the Matcha Einspänner, and both were really well made. The Double Matcha was smooth and rich with a strong matcha flavor that wasn't bitter at all. The Matcha Einspänner was the standout though, that creamy whipped top over the matcha created the perfect balance of rich and refreshing, definitely a unique drink you don't see everywhere. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and everything felt fresh and well made. Great coffee shop overall, and I'll definitely be back to try more off their menu.
