I love the Taro Milk Tea! Only reason why I gave three is because the amount of boba they give; but especially today. I go here almost every week. I ordered one large and two regular. I asked nicely how much boba do they usually put. I could probably count the bobas in my regular with my both hands and then the large one. Then I said, it just looks so less. I've always been a fan of Tastea when I tried it in SoCal years ago. This was my first time coming here since then. I must have came at the wrong time because there was a HUGE group before me and it took awhile. There were three people working, but they were doing SO well with how many orders there were and how many people ordered. I praise them so much for that and their patience. I wish they sold snacks at this location though because the popcorn chicken is bomb! My freezie tasted a little watery, but that won't deter me from coming back to try something new! Ordered ahead on their mobile app since we are in quarantine. They have 3 options for milk: almond, oat, and a "non-dairy creamer" with no further description. It is naturally sweet and even at half the sweetness, it still might be too sweet for some (my friend). Their boba comes green and it doesn't have any taste, only offering texture to the drink. Customer service was mixed. The gentleman at the entryway handing out the drinks was polite. My friend asked if she could have a different option of a cupsleeve that was being offered for the event. He was kind and agreed. As he was looking, another co-worker walked behind him and made a condescending remark. Went today for their 1-year anniversary. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. The drinks were bogo for the celebration, which is partially the reason this was 4 stars. I got the peach me sweetea which was good, it had a decent amount of fruit in it...I would give this drink 5/5. My SO got almond milk tea with honey boba and he was quite disappointed. They may have messed up the order since it seemed not sweet (he didn't alter the sweetness) and it lacked flavor (seemed watery). The honey boba wasn't sweet enough to carry the drink as it sometimes does at other places. Would give the almond milk tea a 2/5. They did have a good system in place as they were quite efficient to get our orders out. Overall I would come back for the peach me sweetea, but I think my SO would prefer to go to other boba places. read more

OH zam I can't believe I haven't left a review sooner - I discovered this place through a friend, and the San Jose chain (apparently different than this one) because the San Jose one had snackz. This one does not, and I am looking forward for them to - however my favorite thing about this is that they use stevia for sweeteners, instead of sugar syrups! LOve! This is super helpful while I am on a keto diet, and one of the few boba drink places I can frequent! Thye are very cautious with their drink packaging, they are always wearing gloves and encourage the patrons to remain 6feet apart. Plus if you order through the app you get rewards! Tastea has some of the best signature teas and typical menu drinks around. I usually get the jasmine milk tea with grass jelly or Bootea Shaker. Their grass jelly is also top quality and I love to put it in many of the drinks I order. I'm not sure if this location has the avocado shake but I've been to the one in Berryessa and SoCal where it has been good. As for their teas, the flavor is super unique. I personally wish I got my Bootea Shaker medium sweet since full was a little much for me. It's great how they can accommodate for that and be consistent. I ordered through their app because of quarantine and they were very efficient in finishing up my drink. It was all ready by the time of pick up. I came here twice and both times were after my dentist appointment. I ordered their top seller which is peach me sweetea with boba. I also ordered jasmine milk tea with boba for my kids to share. Both drinks were half sweet and light ice. Both drinks were good, especially the peach me sweetea. The drink was refreshing and the boba was sweet. One of the negative things about this place is that the drinks takes a while to be made. The first time we were here, we were 2nd in line. After I placed my order, I sent my husband next door to get me some fries. Well, he came back with the fries and our drinks were not even ready. The employees here are very nice. They even ask you what else we needed before walking away. So my husband and I don't quite understand the 1-2 star reviews as we have had Tastea from SoCal and Regular original milk tea boba in Taiwan where it all started and I will say this is the BEST Tastea out there! We were recently in SoCal and visited the Westminster Tastea and it was awful. I didn't even finish my drink and tossed out majority of it. I also don't understand why it says the sweetness level here is overly sweet because again, it's delightful and great! Boba is perfectly bouncy and soft, great texture and the drinks are truly wonderful. We are staying at a hotel nearby for work and will be coming again tomorrow and the next! I used to go to their location in SJ, so I was really excited when they opened one in Sunnyvale. I wish I'd gone pre-pandemic, but the staff did a great job taking precautions! I ordered online, scheduled a time for pickup, and my order was ready waiting for me at the window. The staff was wearing masks/gloves and sanitizing the counters when I walked in. Tastea has finally opened up in Sunnyvale! The interior looks almost like Evergreen one but just a bit tighter. It's okay, hopefully they will sell snacks soon. Went here during opening weekend for the BOGO and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the ordering process went. The line was long but went quickly as they seem to have everything together. Drinks run about $5 per if you add a topping and come in 3 sizes: small, large and jug sized. I got the honeydew milk tea with boba and my husband got the thai milk tea with boba. I would say their drinks run on the sweeter side as I got my drink half sweet and it was still very sweet so I'll get the lowest sugar choice next time. The honeydew flavor was perfect and creamy not chalky or artificial. The boba is perfect and chewy. You can opt for regular or honey boba. I got the regular and it was plenty sweet. They have oat and almond milk available to swap for all the lactose intolerant people out there. This Tastea is very conveniently located to get after dinner dessert and the parking is plentiful so we'll be back very soon. I really hate fruit teas, but I do love their milk teas! I came to pick some milk tea up during quarantine and this location is less busy than the one on Berryessa (which is the location I go to most often). I ordered the almond milk tea with almond milk, light stevia, and honey boba. The unique thing about Taste is that they have oat milk and stevia as an option for milk and sweetener respectively.
