My favorite hot pot place in NorCal! I love getting the beef soup with the Thai flavor sauce. The sauces are pretty good too! I do an even ratio of the bean curd(?) sauce and garlic soy with half a scoop of the chili oil. The chili oil is so spicy, beware! There's plenty of parking and a lot of other things in the plaza. There's even a Tesla supercharger. Service was good; although, I do wish there were more iPads to order on. We had to wait about 10 minutes to order because all the iPads were taken. Experience is always enjoyable, will come back time and time again. read more

Great place! It's my first time at this location and from first experience, the place is super clean! There are a lot of seats, so good for seating larger parties. The food is amazing! I ordered the beef mild, which can be spicy as well. If you're not good with spicy, stick with mild (learned from my mistake) Service is quick here and you order through an IPAD. We ordered the basil chicken as a starter, and a cheesy milk hot pot and a Thai flavor hot pot for our dinner. The order is placed on a tablet, and the server comes by immediately to take away the tablet. He returned a few minutes later to drop off the rice and vermicelli noodles that we selected for the hot pot. The soup came bubbling hot, and it continued to bubble, as we were eating. I had to transfer small portions to my rice bowl to allow it to cool enough to eat. Both hot pots that we ordered were tasty. The Thai flavor had a lemongrassy tang to it. The cheesy milk flavor was rich, but needed some spiciness. There was an option to make it spicy, but I chose to keep it standard. I ended up adding some of the hot oil that was on the table, along with other sauces, which we used for the basil chicken. The chicken was good. Not overly battered but could have been a little crunchier. Overall, it was a fine meal, and I will be returning. read more

The name says it all. A very tasty pot. You get so much in one pot. They don't skim on the ingredients. I would say it's almost a no contact service. You order through a tablet and you get your food pretty fast. Place is nice and clean and has many tables but this place can get busy. Everything looks good! read more

It could be spicier but I enjoyed the crunch and memories of eating this as a snack with boba. I came back for the sizzling beef plate with udon. My first time having this dish was much better. I met a friend here for dinner since we were craving hotpot but not AYCE. We could tell the staff saw us walk in, but it took awhile to be greeted and sat. I've been to other locations so I knew what I wanted- the Curry Flavor Hot Soup. We ordered on the tablet and got our food fairly quick, but our rice never came out and we had to tell 2 different employees we didn't get our rice. This place doesn't disappoint. I've been going here since they opened a few years ago and the food has always been consistent taste-wise and served quickly. My go to is the beef pot with extra spicy broth and a sauce if rice. If you come during lunch, you get free iced tea included. Tasty Pot in Dublin never disappoints. The hot pot was bubbling and full of flavor everything tasted super fresh and comforting. I got the beef combo and it was loaded with good stuff. The popcorn chicken on the side was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, totally worth adding on! The staff were really nice and kept checking in to make sure we were happy with everything. Tasty Pot opened in Jim's Taiwanese Cuisine's space years ago. Ambiance enhanced by a nightlife pic, little else besides new paint jobs. I RSVP the YEE, was waitlisted. Replying i may have ate here years ago the reason? Actually never did. Was at another place 5 years ago. Joined George F. As his guest, sharing popcorn chicken. Intended to pay for my hot pot, George insisted on paying. When the check was asked for, the waitstaff comped my meal. WOW! Thanx to Yelp for YEE, Tasty Pot for their great service & generosity, & George F. for offering to pay as well as being an entertaining, informative lunch associate. Ordering done on ipad. Waitstaff assisted. Too many options to pick. Staff did it flawlessly. Offerings: individual hot pot varietals, appetizers, sides, drinks... Eats: Popcorn Chicken -big chucks of tender chicken pieces with crispy skin. Juicy eats amongst the best. Taiwanese Supreme Spicy Hot Pot. Medium spicy. -hot pot actually had superhot broth keep hot by sterno heat underneath. Only hot pot recently experienced with fire under pot. *waitstaff came every 5 minutes to refill water. Passed every time. Guessing adding water keeps broth less salty, less spicy/"hot". -contained 2 dozen+ ingredients: meats, seafood, noodles, veggies, offal, fried tofu etc. all. Broth deliz. Didn't taste hotness till i scrapped bottom. Spicyness got me coughly violently involuntarily. Pot very big. 2 pots, another entree & pop chicken Filled the table. Sip: mango tea was slightly oversweetend even at less sugar. Tasty pot has been my comfort restaurant since college. I would go to the Clement location but they unfortunately closed. The Dublin location is just as good and they have some different items that I had never seen at the Clement location. We got the Sichuan Spicy and lamb hot pot, the beef sizzling plate, and the calamari rings. All were yummy! For drinks we got the green tea and it was also very flavorful but not as good as the Clement location unfortunately. Definitely coming back again! read more

We ordered beef noodle soup, and spicy pork dry noodle, or something like that (don't have the menu up now). We both got the wide flat noodles, which I loved! Very chewy and bouncy. The beef noodle soup was solid, no complaints there. Would def get it again. The spicy pork dry noodle had a bit too much mala and spice. The spice was very clumpy and changed the texture of the pork. I would have preferred if they had an option with beef (I know that's probably not traditional but I just don't love pork after a while lol). All in all I'd come back and try something else. I was wondering how tasty chow mein with those wide flat noodles would taste. I saw another review mentioning OK noodle, which we live near. I've only tried that place once but didn't think much of it. Might have to go back and see if it's any better than this place.

Similiar as in a broth on the interior but purely pork. The bun is more of a softer bread you would get in like siopao in Filipino dishes. Quick service, food comes out quick, and plenty of portions that we eventually take home left overs. Staff is friendly and quick to clear tables. Highly recommend to stop by.

My friend and I heard the same thing! However, when it came time to pay, I was charged full price. When I brought it up and even pointed out the worker, the staff claimed they had no idea what I was talking about. At that point, I just let it go but honestly, it didn't get any better from there. Every dish we ordered was bland, lacked flavor, and wasn't consistent at all. To make matters worse, I noticed something concerning near the cashier. They were refilling the water jug using what looked like a used plastic container that didn't appear clean or sanitary, which was really off-putting. Overall, this experience was disappointing from start to finish, both in terms of service and food quality.

This place operates cafeteria style, where you choose your primary protein for your bento, and the sides are all laid out in front of you to choose from. You can pick up to 3 sides. You can just tell everything is made with care and all the ingredients are super fresh. The family speaks mandarin as well! Since it was my first time there, I took a look at what others were ordering and it seemed like one of the popular sides was the bean sprouts. They were indeed super refreshing! I went with the tofu for the second side and for the third side, I chose the braised egg for my husband and the eggplant for me. Both were excellent choices and the tofu was so good, and even had a bit of a kick. The bentos survived the drive home, traffic and all, and held up well in my insulated bag. The meats were tender and there was plenty of rice to soak up all that delectable sauce. My husband enjoyed his pork chop too. I also got three sides including tofu, eggplants, and steamed vegetables. They're really fresh and delicious when I had them. Rice is something too because it tastes better than the one we usually have at home. About the drinks, there weren't many options besides water, sodas, teas, and other beverages you can see from the refrigerator. That's alright, but I kinda wish they have specialty ones, which is something you can see from the menu. The cashier was very nice to us. He probably remembered one of the customers sitting outside, walked up to them, and gave them their order. He seems to be very accommodating. He even asked some people to leave from the patio since it's only reserved for customers. Anyways, I'm looking forward to trying more options when I come back. However because they have lunch breaks between 2pm-4:30pm, I most likely can't be visiting during weekdays since I do work and that they might close when I arrive. I'll try my best to return.

I ordered #2 lamb soup. it was disappointed. less meat, more veggie. my tofu was frozen. I flagged the waiter, told him my tofu is frozen and there were no flame under my pot. He couldn't understand english. I repeated 3 time and I pointed the tofu is frozen. He took my pot. From that moment, I knew something was not right, he bring back my food with fire under my pot, hot broth but all my tofu was gone. I also ordered the rice that came with my order. Same waiter again, asked for the rice never got it. My friend ordered #1 Beef soup, her broth was low, less than half broth. We asked for more broth flagged 3 waiters, all never came back with broth. but saw waiter pour broth on other table. seriously? wtf We weren't halfway finish eating, waiter gave us check but it wasn't our check. I told the waiter is not our check, again couldn't understand english. repeated multiple times, then he said "what?its your check" and it still wasn't our fucking check. The manager came and knew it wasn't our check, it was belong to other table. I will not come here again. I am not satisfied with my food and the servers. I don't recommend this place. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant, primarily due to both poor customer service and lack of transparency about their food. Before visiting, we called to ask a simple question about whether any of the broths were pork-free. It took an unusually long time for anyone to answer the phone, and when someone finally did, they seemed unsure and unable to provide a clear answer. This should be basic information that staff can easily communicate. When we arrived, we discovered that all of the broths contained pork, despite our efforts to confirm otherwise in advance. This was extremely frustrating and made it impossible for members of our group to eat there. In addition, the restaurant itself was not clean. The tables, floors, and overall environment did not feel well maintained, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, the combination of rude and unhelpful service, lack of accurate information, and poor cleanliness made this a very disappointing visit. I hope management takes steps to improve staff training, communication, and cleanliness. read more

Yikes... it's funny how they were able to hide or remove my review entirely just because I said something pretty disgusting... Anyways just to reiterate... I use to come here quite often on my lunch breaks with my boyfriend. One time we decided to park behind their back entrance before walking up for my to-go order and I saw a bunch of the workers hanging around behind the kitchen without masks... they were taking a smoke break and you can't smoke without a mask I get it. The craziest thing was after he finished his cigarette, he went right back into the kitchen and started preparing pre-made pots without washing his hands or wearing a mask! It wasn't even on his chin he just wasn't wearing one... I mean come on it's their job to keep the customers safe... I stopped coming back after that time but the frustrating thing is I had seen this happen only AFTER picking up my order. This is a PSA for everyone else looking to be safe and healthy read more

I use to come here quite often during my lunch break... but recently its really been tumbling downhill. I got really bad stomach pains from eating here. I saw a few workers inside either not wearing masks and/or wearing it incorrectly... pretty big safety concern for me. Last time I parked around their back entrance and you'll always see workers coming in and out without masks, smoking a cigarette, on their phones, and then walking back inside to prep without washing their hands or wearing gloves. I love jajangmyeon and ordered it with extra noodles. The bowl of noodles came with a thick savory black bean sauce with some pork and vegetables. The taste was spot-on and it's comparable to my favorite Jajangmyeon that I get in the City. You get pickled radish with your food with refills. Now I can get closer to home. Jajangmyeon is a Korean-Chinese dish and they do it well here. Four of the five of us had the jajangmyeon and one at the vegetable stir-fried noodles. Everyone was happy with their food. So, since I wasn't able to find a check in for that market, I had to come here to sing their praises. 6 Vegan Potstickers at the market are $13. I recommend spending the $1 for chili oil. Not sure what they charge at the restaurant for these fried pockets of deliciousness, but I tell you if these taste this good at a farmers market, packaged in a box, and I wait 10 minutes before I find a seat in the hospital cafeteria, and it still tastes this good, the restaurant must be out of this world. The wrapper has a great thickness and offers a sticky and chewy bite. Pan fried still comes out after having these steam in a to go box, so the restaurant would probably make these pan fried babies have even more texture. Comes with a dipping sauce, but combine it with the chili oil if you can handle a little heat and Yes Chef!! I heard they are at the SF Ferry Building Market on Saturday and Walnut Creek Farmers Market on Sunday. Double check those, but finding a great vegan potsticker is not easy.

It is located inside the Hacienda Crossings shopping center . They have a special menu with good food with special prices . Some are available Monday to Friday only . I love the crispy skin squabs and the steamed giant clams with garlic and cellophane noodles . Today we have reserved a room with 4 tables .My table have seated 11 friends . I have attached my receipt for the type of food we ordered. Each person only paid $19 ( include tax and tip ) . It was a great price for such upscale restaurant . The honey glazed Char Siu ( BBQ pork ) was tender and juicy . Stir fry beef in garlic and green onions with rice noodle are flavorful, lots of tender beef . I also like the stir fry sticky rice 生炒糯米飯。it was cooked just right , chewy and tasty . Dim sum are great : steamed beef ball with tangerine peel , steamed pork sou mei , shrimp rice roll in soy sauce , chicken feet in black bean sauce . All tasted delicious and were served very hot . The service was adequate. For those who don't know, they don't operate like America restaurants where there is one assigned waiter but more of whoever is available walking around. The "runners" who bring out the food are usually not the ones who serve and help the customers. We had an upward of 5 different servers come by to refill water, bringing a fork, and chili sauce, taking away used dishes, etc. Nothing spectacularly and we didn't have any special needs. We did have a big party of 12. Servers do need to be flagged down if you need help. We ordered many dishes off their menu and one didn't make it into the order but that was fine we were real full at the end. The ridiculous thing that happened was at the end where we paid for the meal which was $375...for 12 people it's be $30 a person. I added, apparently, below appropriate amount of tip of $18. Rounding my bill to $390. I did such a horrific job of tipping that I had 2 servers, one who didn't even served us come up to me and asked if the service was ok. I replied the service was fine. Nothing was wrong. Then they proceeded to ask why then I tipped such a low amount. I found that very troubling and I asked how much should I tip? Basically, He said he doesn't know but $18 is way too low. At 18% was $60. I opted for that option because I was with a party of 12 and I didn't wanna stand there in the middle of table with other patrons about tips! This is what it has come to with tipping. Minimum service of doing your job expects a random setup % of the bill. We travel as a party of 12 or more around the states and country in the past 12 years and have seen mandatory gratuity for party over 8. And that's fine with us. Going after the customers and plead and complaint about the tip? I don't see that as a way to leave the customers wanting to come back and spend more money at this establishment in the future. Paying $375 for food is no longer enough. $60 tip for a default, minimal of service is what's required apparently. Call me a cheap but I'm not rich enough to spend my disposable income here. We will not be coming back to this business or its other branches.

We devoured Baked BBQ pork buns, Steamed sticky rice in lotus leaf, Green onion pancake, Beef chow fun, Baked egg custard tarts, Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, Prawns with honey glazed walnuts, Baked BBQ pork buns with crispy top, Shrimp dumplings, BBQ pork rice noodles, Scallop and shrimp dumplings, and Shrimp pork dumplings. The only negative was the small portion size of the honey walnut shrimp. Our party was seated in the back of the upstairs room, so it was a little quieter than the main dining room downstairs. Lots of dim sum choices. We were able to find parking on a busy Sunday with just a little effort in the shopping center parking lot.

Susie lives in the Bay Area and chose this restaurant. I was skeptical about keeping the cost low as we were having dim sum. I was afraid it would be outrageously expensive and not filling enough. She proved me wrong. Excluding the tea and other drinks it came to $30 per person and that included tax and tip. This was cheaper then the last banquet we had and I actually enjoyed most of the dishes here. The only dish I didn't have was the scallop and shrimp dumplings as the order came out with only 3 and there was 11 us at the table. I'm not sure how that was supposed to feed the table. We arrived at 11:10am and to ensure we weren't late. The parking lot was packed when we arrived. Saying that we only had to go up and down two isles to find a parking space. I have to add that the parking spaces were tight. We had the Honda Pilot and it barely fit in a space and that isn't the biggest car out there. We were told that our table was on the 2nd floor and to go to the side door. We walked around the side and found a door. There was not signage indicating it was part of the restaurant. The right side was locked, but the left side was unlocked. When we entered we were warmed with a sigh that said the floor was wet and to beware of slipping. They had a staircase to the left and a elevator to the right. That was a blessing, I know some of our party wouldn't have made it to the banquet with out the elevator. When we exited the elevator we were met by a staff member with their cart waiting to do downstairs. So the elevator serves guests and staff alike. When we got out of the elevator the staff member pointed us down the hall. We stopped at the bathroom on the way down the hall. Once we found the restaurant we were pointed to the back where we joined our party. We had 3 tables in the back which was nice. It beats being out in the open and disturbing everyone as we stood around chit chatted prior to being served. I felt bad for the table of 2 that were posted right next to the wall near our party. They just had a bad table. All the other tables upstairs were farther away and didn't feel like they were in our space. I have to add that the service was great. They kept coming to refill the waters and tea pot with tea, not just hot water. And we never felt rushed. We had a nice table on the edge of our tables agains the wall that we were able to hang our family tree. We are all 1st, 2nd and 3rd cousins and some of us have never met the others before so we really needed a family tree that color coded what generation you were. My favorite dish was the steamed sticky rice in Lotus root, next was the BBQ Pork Buns, third was the shrimp and pork dumplings. Though I don't recall seeing any shrimp in those dumplings.Thought they were big and meaty. My least favorite was the green onion pancake. It just wasn't fluffy and flakey. It was too dense and lacked flavor. And a little greasy. We had 12 dishes and were filled with some chow fun left over. The chow fun wasn't that great. It was filled with beef which was good, but it lacked sauce and the noodles weren't all that.
