Vegan cookie and vegan protein bars.

The vegan protein bars are amazing! We didn't care for the shake or juice however, I had the beet the heat and it was closer to flavored water than a juice. The vegan cookie with oats and banana was bland and tasted like a pancake. It's hard to find vegan options so I am happy I did find TMC overall.

The clear view from my seat to the counter. The fabulous salad.

The food was fabulous. I waited 50 minutes for a salad. I only got noticed when I went two steps from my seat to the counter to ask. What really left an unsavory taste in my palate was the carefree way this was dismissed. Not even a sense of compassion or an apology. I am a business owner and certainly would never leave a client in plain view unattended for nearly an hour. I would extend my concern and apologize. At the end of my time there I went back to the counter to ask for a takeout package and then I received a polite apology. I really appreciated this. I do like this cafe. I would give the benefit of the doubt that this must have been a fluke.

Sooooo...I've been here a couple of times. It's not my favorite, but I wanted a smoothie and my go-to place is currently closed for renovations. Anyways, my order has only 5 ingredients. Now these are ingredients that have plenty of and use in most of their other smoothies. Each item was considered an 'addition' but there were 5 ingredients in the entire drink. $11.56. It was tasty, but definitely not worth $11+ when I can get the same thing anywhere for $5-$7. That's all I have to say.

It was a busy Saturday night, every table in the restaurant was taken. We appreciated the large round table where we can have a conversation and include everyone. Tonight, my husband and I shared the prixe fixed dinner, enjoying the tuna tartar, Caprese stack, short ribs, and gelato. Each course was delicious and more than the two of us could share. I was so disappointed, we left over most of our short rib entree and we're looking forward to bringing it home for another night. Unfortunately, it was thrown out, but thank you Olie for making another one for us. Everyone enjoyed their meals, service was good, portions were generous and we weren't rushed we were able to catch up. Each couple was accommodated with our own check, this was appreciated! It was a very, very nice evening. I can't wait to come back again.

A bit steep but hoped it would hit the spot for a casual in-hotel dinner. Asked for utensils and some napkins. The server, Hannah, gave me a dinky plastic set of picnic utensils and several bar cocktail napkins, which was a head-scratcher for an entree and a salad. Again, $50. Got to my room and opened my bag. No extra grated parm included. And the chicken parm looked bruised to say the least. And it tasted even worse. Kind of like someone's leftovers from a few nights ago was reheated. The top of the parm was burned, and the sauce and chicken tasted bitter. All 'n all, very disappointing. Will not be coming back. Nor would I even try this place for a sit-down. Clearly, they don't care enough to make an impression so why bother.

There was a healthy crowd, but we were seated immediately and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is clean, bright and contemporary. We started with Bloody Marys and passion fruit mimosas--all excellent. (Although they don't salt the cocktail rims, so sodium enthusiasts beware.) Breakfast and lunch are served all day, and pretty much everything on the menu sounded good. We went with the oxtail and grits, biscuits and gravy, and avocado toast, plus breakfast potatoes, sausage links and hash brown casserole. Exceptional. All of it. The oxtail was fall-apart tender, with a rich gravy over creamy, flavorful grits that had exactly the right consistency. The biscuits were huge and fluffy with a good crumble. And the avocado toast wasn't some sad little schmear of avocado--it came piled high with avocado, tomato and onion. Actually, everything was generously portioned. Come hungry and be prepared to roll out the door. One thing I especially appreciated: they were working on improvements to the menu that day and asking customers to try and give feedback on a potential new corned beef hash dish. There's something great about a locally owned restaurant actively engaging its customers and always looking for ways to get even better. I got the 'itis, but managed to churn out this review before the nap kicks in--because everybody should know about this wonderful little gem in Boynton Beach. Omg, the food was amazing from the French toast, special order of blueberry pancakes, drinks, breakfast bowl. Waiting time was short, food came out hot, background music was not too loud and the birthday churro and ice cream yummy. Only thing I would recommend melting the cheese on the breakfast bowl.
