This is from carfax. I was told the car had no accidents and when I went to trade it in for a bigger car this was the report they gave me.

Hi, My name is Matt Donohue. I purchased a Yukon from here about a year and a half ago. My family was growing and we realized we needed the XL so we went to trade it in only to find out the vehicle we bought was in a bad enough accident for it to almost be considered a severe accident. I reached out to the woman I purchased the vehicle from and found out she didn't work there anymore. Shortly after that I was contacted by Mark Paschen with the following message I received a text message from Misty Gilbert expressing a vehicle you purchased from us in 2022. I have attached a copy of a current autocheck, the vehicle history report. This is the reporting system Taylor Motors uses and all vehicle auctions use also. As you can see the history report we pull shows no accident. If you have any questions please call. Honestly I felt like it showed indifference, like my issue didn't matter because the company they used said the car didn't have any accidents. I'm not in sales but I'd like to think that if there was something that was overlooked in a transaction I made with a customer I'd do what I could to make it right. I'd at least apologize for any inconvenience or mixups there may have been. I have 5 kids, 2 new borns, and when we asked for the carfax we asked because we wanted to make sure the vehicle we purchased was safe. I reached out to General Motors who wanted to help but Taylor motors wasn't cooperative with them either. I don't get it. How can someone sell a car that has an obvious accident history and not want to make it right? Am I wrong to think this isn't fair? A person goes to a restaurant and orders steak and gets pork gets a steak in place of the mistaken pork they got. I mean I've been in situations like this where they gave a free meal because they didn't want to disappoint the customers. If you purchased a vehicle from here I'd do your own background check on the vehicle before you purchase because this company doesn't stand on morals. If you leave under the impression your vehicle has a clean accident report only to find out it doesn't you'll be stuck with a car that's value is less than half of what you paid for it. Let's face it, there's children in the vehicle I purchased every time I drive it and the fact that it may not be safe matters not to Taylor motors.

I was treated like family at Taylor Motors. Had an issue with brake dust and a slide lacking grease. Originally, I heard a slight clunking sound coming from the left rear tire area. The sound didn't happen all the time, and I wondered if it might be something in my trunk. I'd never been to the Taylor Motors service department before. I bought my used car there, and was completely satisfied when I did. However, a couple months later, the clunking issue came up. When the mechanic at Taylor Motors first listened for the sound, noting could be heard. Bob was determined to find the problem without me going home unsatisfied. They suggested I take everything out of my trunk, which I did. Bob and a mechanic rode with me around several blocks listening for the clunking. After a few stops, the clunking was heard. Once the sound was finally identified, the problem was taken care of. The dust was cleaned, slides were re-greased, as well as scuffing the brake pads. Even though I'd bought a warranty plan, I was told they didn't need to look at it because the car shouldn't have had an issue so close to the purchase date. So they took care of it. During the entire process, I felt like Bob and the team were dedicated to resolving the problem. The transaction was taken care of in a comfortable manner for me. Most important, I wasn't spoken to like an unknown customer. I was treated like family.

NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!…read more My car broke down while I was on a road trip and was towed to this dealership. Unfortunately, I was given a diagnosis that turned out to be completely incorrect. Based on what I was told, I was led to believe that repairing my car would cost thousands of dollars and that it was essentially not worth fixing. Because of that information, I made the decision to purchase a brand-new car. Since I don't live in the area, it took some time to get my original car back from the dealership. Once I finally had the car looked at by another mechanic, I was shocked to find out that the actual issue was simply a broken radiator cap which cost me 20 to fix. After that was replaced, the car was back in working order. Had I been given an accurate diagnosis in the first place, I would not have made the decision to purchase another vehicle. This mistake ultimately cost me 20,000 dollars. Unfortunately, my experience didn't end there. The dealership also performed a recall repair on the vehicle, but I was not given the documentation proving that the recall had been completed. I now need that paperwork in order to register/sell the vehicle, and despite contacting the dealership and asking them to send it to me, they have refused to mail it. Because I don't live nearby, I'm now being forced to drive 6 hours back to the dealership simply to obtain paperwork that should have been provided to me in the first place. The combination of the incorrect diagnosis, the financial consequences, and the lack of assistance afterward has been incredibly frustrating. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting a diagnosis from this dealership, especially if you're being told your vehicle needs thousands of dollars in repairs.

I took my truck in for an oil change a couple weeks ago. After I picked it up I was getting code alert on my dash for engine air filter. I texted the dealership on the message thread I was using to communicate with the service center rep to let them know about the code being thrown right after I picked it up. There was no response from them. After I reached out to them again to fix the problem they proceed to tell me it was missing before because it shows it's missing in video from the oil change. Which is a literal 2 second video clip that you wouldn't be able to notice piece missing unless you pause the video and slowly go through it, and also no time stamp. Where's the before video? After comparing the air box with someone else who has basically the same truck, we noticed there is not a factory sticker on the air box like theirs has. And the intake connection to the grill was also found to be disconnected along with the bolts that hold box in not being fully bolted in. It appears to me that they took out my air filter box and replaced it with some junk air filter either to get me to buy a new one or replace someone else's. I am currently in contact with BAR because what they're doing is not ok.

The engine light, which was the safety issue, seemed to have resolved itself on its own, but Toyota agreed to check it out anyway because we were going on a cross country road trip shortly. We had already had Another local car repair shop check the engine light issue, after Toyota found the issue but didn't diagnose, due to our concern for our safety. Both shops seemed to agree that there was a leak in the exhaust system -- possibly the gas cap. Since we had filled the gas tank since both services, we felt it was possible the 2013 gas cap could be failing since it has been with the car since the beginning. Neither shop is certain that it will be the final fix. However, as it is the cheaper and easier fix, I asked to purchase a new gas cap for the vehicle before leaving Toyota. Thank you Toyota for showing you care. Communication with each other is the key to a good experience.

UPDATE AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE GENERAL MANAGER:…read more After posting my original review, General Manager David Ambrozevitch responded publicly and asked me to contact him directly so he could "better understand the situation and discuss any remaining concerns." I did exactly that. Unfortunately, the conversation only reinforced my original concerns. I explained what happened with the AI-generated email and the way the sales manager handled it. Instead of acknowledging that the communication was misleading or simply taking responsibility for how the situation was handled, I essentially received the same explanation I had already been given. I also felt his attitude was dismissive rather than genuinely concerned about resolving the issue. At that point, it became pretty clear to me that the problem wasn't just with one sales manager. Customer service and accountability start at the top. I also brought up something I hadn't mentioned in my original review. When I finally picked up the truck I purchased, the gas tank was essentially empty and the truck was only partially cleaned. There was still mud on the running boards and underneath the wheel wells. When I asked the General Manager about their policy, I was told they don't fill up used vehicles and that they wash them "to a degree." For a customer who just spent thousands of dollars purchasing a vehicle, I find that level of preparation and customer service disappointing. I told him that a 10-year-old could have done a better job washing the truck. I'm not expecting perfection, and I'm not writing this because I didn't get my way. I bought the truck. What I expected was basic professionalism, communication, accountability, and a vehicle that was properly presented when I picked it up. I gave both the sales manager and now the General Manager an opportunity to address my concerns. Instead of someone simply saying, "We could have handled this better," I received explanations and what I felt was a dismissive attitude. After speaking directly with the General Manager, I now understand where the attitude I experienced at the sales-management level comes from. It starts at the top. I stand by my original review
