Celtics my favorite NBA team played a home game against the wizards and swoosh baby we win ! I finally got to see the garden and enjoy St. Pattys day weekend in Boston and this will be a favorite memory for sure !!! Jason Tatum is DA MAN !!!!
Traveling to the Garden for a game is a special event. I respect the people who complain that the prices are too high and the lines are too long - guess what, it's a stadium. The environment created by the building is undeniable and I honestly think that the TD Garden staff does an outstanding job getting people into the venue safely and quickly and there are friendly faces ready to help you throughout the stadium's concourses.
Very conveniently on the commuter rail and connects with rest of MBTA! Good stadium and it has a lot of good air flow so it doesn't feel suffocating. Food is overpriced and mid but what do you expect at a concert.
Having done the Fenway Park tour the previous day, the tour of TD Garden was disappointing. If you were in the back of the pack for the tour you couldn't hear much. The tour guide did his talking as he was facing forward at the front of the line. A lot of the tour was very dimly lit, particularly the visitor's locker room (which was cluttered with I'm not exactly sure what the clutter was on the seats). Same with the hallways. There is no admittance to the home team locker rooms (due to the age of the locker rooms according to the guide). Anyway, for the price it still only rates 2 stars.
Over the past couple years I have come to the TD Garden for concerts and most recent visit for WWE Raw. Every time it has been an enjoyable experience. The largest negative I would say is that the prices for food/drinks are overpriced but if you have been to any live entertainment this is not shocking. Due to that I won't knock down a star for the review. Staff have been friendly enough considering how many people they are dealing with during an event. Concert wise I have seen quite a variety here including a great show put on by Incubus and Coheed & Cambria. That show and the next, Ghost concert, we enjoyed from the club seats. They are a little more comfortable than standard seats and the biggest perk is the smaller lines for drinks at the bar and merch lines being shorter. Then our most recent concert visit was for my wife to see Benson Boone and we had lower down seats. Still decent seats overall and if you are visiting for a concert you are likely standing during it so who really cares about the seat! Lastly our most recent event here we came for a special Monday Night Raw by WWE. It was a special event because it was John Cena's last time performing in his home arena. This lead to some of the loudest crowds I have heard and everyone in the arena lost it after he won his title match! We were sat on the floor in the third row. Honestly the floor seats were the most uncomfortable seats we have experienced at the Garden by far. Still despite that one of our favorite events at the garden! The crowd and atmosphere was something special! I look forward to our next event here and hope all the future ones are just as great.
I went back and forth between three and two stars. I am in the final few arenas of the NHL arena tour, so this was the penultimate Original Six arena and I have a few out of the way places left to visit like Buffalo and EDM to catch 'em all. TD Garden is a modern, upscale, nice NHL arena. If I stopped the review there you would wonder how we got to two stars. But it is a short road to two star town, population TD Garden. TD is the absolute loudest of any NHL arena I have visited in the US and A and Canada. The music is set to blaring during warmies and during the game, I felt like John Tortorella screaming about the gat dang music being way too loud - it really was, I am not just being the usual crotchety old man I am known to be and hey, get off of my lawn. I was on club level and it was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation at any point during the game. Engineering side of yelp would need to weigh in on what about the TD design makes this bowl so loud it sounds like you are shouting over a jackhammer at any given moment. That part is absolutely not enjoyable, demerit. For the Original Six I spend much more time at the United Center, MSG, and ScotiaBank and I can have a normal conversation with someone sitting next to me in any of those arenas. This is unusual how loud TD is. My apple watch kept alerting me about how loud this whole thing was, I felt like I was back at HHN in Orlando where people literally just scream in your face for a few hours. That's not supposed to be equivalent to club level in an Original Six arena. After the game I also wanted to buy a puck from warmies since it was an excellent game. I spoke to numerous arena personnel on club level and in lower levels on the way out and everyone told me something different about where you buy this gat dang thing. I never found the one and only shop that had the pucks from warmies. It would have been a nice souvenir. I never saw a sign with arrows to help clarify the right direction, considering that nobody on arena staff seemed to know where to go or how to get there, they just said the complete opposite of the what the guy or gal before them said. Meanwhile outside the arena they know how to post a sign with arrows on how to get into the dang arena, so they should work on signange in the arena giving arrows on how to go buy the puck from warmies. Now I just have a two star review on yelp dot com as a souvenir.
The ambiance inside the stadium is electric! I was there to see a hockey game, Bruins vs Knights. It was really special because I was on a business trip and decided to partake in a Boston sporting event since Boston is such a big sports town. Boston did not disappoint! The venue was gorgeous. There are plenty of options for purchasing snacks. My last-minute ticket landed me high up in the stands. It wasn't a bad seat at all, but the aisle was very narrow requiring everyone to stand whenever someone wanted to leave their seat. I wish they would've had a drink holders on the back of the seat in front of me. That would've been helpful since it was a balancing act holding onto everything, including our thick jackets, food, and drinks. Other than that, it was a great experience. The bathrooms were clean!
There were definitely some pros and cons to this arena, but overall, I'd say this place was great for a concert. We came to see Dua Lipa and upon entering the venue, I thought everything was great. I liked the escalators and the very clear signage. I also appreciated the people working were very vocal about which way to go depending on where you're sitting. Getting up to BAL330 was easier than expected and I appreciated how big the venue spaces were. The view from up here was actually quite good and matched the view on the seat view thing on TD Garden's website. There were so many bars and places to grab food at. I like this because it means shorter lines and getting back to your seats quicker. The cons were that these seats were tight, and I mean TIGHT. If you want to be touching a stranger all night, these are the seats to sit in. There also isn't anywhere to put your drinks, so it's a bit uncomfortable. Also, I know it's a concert at an arena, but phew pricing here is astronomically high. $12 for a bottle of water, that I can't even keep (we had to put it into a cup) is extremely excessive.
We had another great expedience at TD garden. We saw MGK there the other night and the experience was so wonderful. Melbourne took care of us, but all of the other staff we connected with that night was great too. What a wonderful night out!
Came here for the Tate McRae concert and it was amazing! A lot of food and drinks options and merch tables all around. We had club seats and wish we knew it had its own bar and merch table earlier because it was so much quieter, less crowded, and nicer. We got drinks from the bar there which is very chic and they even had a Tate inspired drink which I got it. It was yummy! The bartender, Nick, was personable and sweet! Our seats were sooo good too, we even saw her in the back before she came on stage. Loved it!!
One of my favorite places in New England- located right in north Boston Every event I attend to here is a breeze- great security- very large so you don't feel over crowded- every seat is a good view- I have been coming here for YEARS for a variety of events/games. It's VERY CLEAN, even the restrooms. All the employees are friendly and knowledgeable- prices are a bit high but that's what you pay at any decent arena - lines can seem long but move quickly- lastnight we attended WWE SMACKDOWN and it was AMAZING ! We had a blast !
I understand food and drink prices will be inflated at a concert or game venue but $19 dollars for a sun cruiser is insane. A regular hot do for $10. Just all seems a little excessive. I heard parking is pretty crazy as well but we didn't park. The venue itself is nice for a concert with a good view from whatever seat. Bathrooms were clean and the venue is massive. Celtics, Bruins, special events - a stadium in downtown Boston, reasonable sized and you can see the court or rink or floor setup pretty well. Upstairs in the 300s don't expect a place to put your cups. The entry/open space for getting up to security on the second floor is crowded... not really well-labeled or multiple access points, just one chokepoint that gets crowded. Food is awfully expensive, though, like my trip to the Yankees stadium... and no iced tea anywhere in the place (other than alcoholic)? Double-charged me at a stand for water, too. Loge level is fine, easy access. Suite levels have access to different dining and other options. I would say they need more signs to the exits where you can use the escalators, though, for those whose knees don't like stairs. Subway stops right outside. Parking at the on-site venue can be expensive ($60-80!) and so you often go to the other garages downtown for a better deal.
Finally got to see my first Celtics game in person! It only took 30+ years! Lol. My brother scored tickets through his work. The Garden did a good job checking proof of vaccination and made security check pretty efficient given the amount of people. I love the renovation! Looks like any seat would be a decent one! My only hesitation in giving 5 stars is staff's lack of reinforcement of masks when not actively eating/drinking. I'm sure you could make the argument that you are sipping your beverage at your seat but I clearly saw people roaming the stairs without theirs, even next to staff... read more

Oh boy, what can I say? Overwhelming just being in Boston and then to see the Eagles!! We stayed at Citizen M boutique hotel that is a hop skip and a jump to the venue. It was an 8 pm start so we left 7:45. Security was trying to push people through but it was a cluster f*#%+. Check website for restrictions. I brought my clear purse that I used from my NFL games and it worked great! You have to walk through a metal detector and if you bring a bag, it could get X-rayed like airport security. We were told to go through the no-bag zone even though I had my clear bag. After the security screening, we went to find our seats. Once we found our seats, we wanted to get something to drink. Well, GOOD LUCK!! Lines were long and we left a line worried we would miss the opening song!! Why weren't all venues here open?? We met multiple people who were very upset about the wait in lines for a soda or god forbid a beer!! This was terrible including the line to go to the bathroom. Plan on missing part of your show if you need a drink or have to pee!! (And depending on your ticket $$, you will miss part of your show!!). Enjoyed the Eagles, the show was amazing !! Had so much fun being back at the Garden! Felt super safe, even for someone who's been super COVID nervous. You fill out a COVID form before entering the arena to make sure you don't have symptoms etc. Walking in, there are barely any people, we were the only ones at security. Without the crowds to guide you, they have lots of people guiding you to your seats. We were the only ones in our row, the other seats were zip tied. Three food options 1. the bar 2. stand selling hot dogs and pretzels which was mobile order only, they have a QR code there 3. stand with chicken fingers and fries, pulled pork which you could walk up to and order at the counter. Overall felt super safe and well organized! Just sad that they didn't have too many food options, although understandable why. read more

Home of the Celtics! During our visit to the East Coast my hubby and I were able to squeeze in an NBA game in our itinerary! This was only my 3rd visit to an NBA arena and the TD Garden was HUGE! Finding parking was a hassle even arriving a little over an hour early... finally had to go into those $25 parking garage :-( Neither one of our favorite teams were playing against the Celtics but it was, nonetheless, fun watching KG and Paul Pierce go against Superman in the 1/23/12, 7:30p game against the Orlando Magics... (Ray Allen was DNP that evening) and it was an embarrassing loss for the Magic. By the way, I am a Kings fan and my hubby is a diehard Warriors fan :) Review #0065 read more

I have been to TD Garden for many events over the years. I have always sat in a corporate box. At least as an adult. Never on the floor. So this is a review of the corporate box experience. I will have to say that I'm not very impressed with the corporate suites at TD. They are small - only seating 16. The menu is limited. (I'd say expensive, but heck, I'm not paying). The bathrooms have black fixtures - ugly. You don't have dedicated wait staff. You have to walk out to the hall and show your lanyard to get a mixed drink. No whiskey at the bar. Only 1 TV in the box. And not all events are streamed. There are dedicated elevators to bring you up to the Suites, but they are slow. I think there is only 1. Lastly the Suites do not have ear protection available. Yes, I'll come again. But I will say I decline about half my invites to the Garden since I'm unimpressed with the boxes. read more
Came to see a concert here (Florence and t he machine). It was my first time at TD garden. Apparently it is the place to see Boston Celtics and Bruins games. Capacity is about 20 thousand people.. For a concert, it was still great. Having been to different arenas, I felt that it was hard to find the balcony level in this place. First u get up to lodge level, and then need to find the balcony elevator which made it a task. Also I felt the stairs were very steep, made me afraid of falling down, making me dizzy when i look down.. took a while to get used to, and then it was fine... Lol. However, steeper the steps, closers you are to the stage from the balcony. Interestingly, even though I was very far back, I could see the stage really well for that reason. The sound system, wasn't great but Florence and the machine rocked it. Running around the stage, running and dancing in the general admission crowd. The visual effects were pretty cool with different sets of lights and curtains. Overall I had a good experience. Would I come to see another show here? Probably yes. But I assume the acoustics may be better at BSO. My other complaint is the tickets did not mention what time the singer would get on stage.. I assumed at a 7pm start time, the "real concert" would start around 7:30-45 however it was 8:30 when it started... so I wasted time waiting one and half hour listenin the horrible music by the band preceeding the concert... If i only knew, I would have went there later. Not sure if this is the norm but ticket master should announce the real start time! And the concert finished around 10:15pm.. so I waited more to see the concert than the actual duration of theconcert .. it sucked in that respect but Florence did not disappoint. As for the food, I was gonna eat at regina pizzeria which is a perfect option nearby but couldn't make it on time. There is plenty of food options in the venue though. U won't be hungry even if u don't eat prior to coming. read more

attended a celtics game for the first time in this location. when i say this has to be one of the best arena i've been too! everything is so in order and well organized it's great. from walking in and lining up, lines moving fast to let everyone in to the gale itself. i enjoyed the bar and their big selections on different type of alcohol. i had lobster mac and cheese and a side of buffalo chicken fries. the food was delicious and it was a great portion, you would've thought you were in a actual restaurant. the security right by my section was nice and helpful when it came to taking my pictures and taking care of my coat while i use the ladies room! loved the half time show and my pictures. #BleedGreen read more

First time coming to the garden to see a Celtics game. Despite our tickets being in the 300's section we could see everything! Beautiful court, and the ball without having to look at the jumbrotron. The entertainment kept the fans engaged before the game and during half time. And a plus.. the Celtics won! The stadium was very clean, the food and beer lines moved well (i really liked the idea of ordering at a kiosk and then having your name called when your order was ready. I felt it really moved things along) and the bathroom lines were short, i don't know how you did it, but every female thanks you haha read more
TD Garden is the BEST, especially if you're a huge Bruins fan. The atmosphere is always amazing, the crowd barely ever sits down. I've sat in the third row from the glass and the third row from the ceiling and both experiences (although very unique) were awesome. If you want to get beer and food here you'll have to pay a pretty penny, but that's always the case at professional sports events. They have a great choice of food and beer. I can always find something I'm in the mood for. I hope the Bruins can get back on the ice to finish out their impressive 2020 season. Before and after games make sure you join the party at the bars along the street outside North Station. read more

Excited to have come to this arena and marking it off my bucket list! The train is located here so it's easy access for fans to get to. There was construction on one side of the building so part of the sidewalk was temporarily closed. Upon entering, there was a hold up going up the escalator. It seems like they check your tickets when you get to the top of the escalator and not as you enter the building. This caused some traffic and a bit of a delay. When we reached the top, we were handed free shirts! I wonder if they do this every night?! The game was awesome, glad I got to witness Booker make history on my first attendance at this arena! read more

The Garden needs to tighten up it's Covid protocol! My father contracted Covid after attending the John Mayer show here on May 9th and I contracted it after attending the Roger Waters concert here on July 12th. We been to several other indoor venues across the state without a problem and this is the only one that this is happened at despite having a mask on the whole time! Another issue I have is the private security company they use, They arbitrarily choose what they want to enforce or not. Watched them take someone I was with's weed but not the flask they smuggled in to avoid paying the 25.00 for a double cocktail. Even saw one security guard come up behind a girl who had an ecig in her hand, not using it mind you, and say "I'll be taking that" and pull it out of her hand! Completely unacceptable! Covid and thieving security do NOT make me want to come back anytime soon! read more

Great arena, we were seated in the "Boston Garden Society" Box Section. My wife and I as well as another Kings fans couple were probably some of the only in the arena. Service was nice, view was great and the Celtics fans seated around us were actually friendly. Food selection was decent, had normal arena prices. Beer actually wasn't horrendously priced and they had some decent local beers. read more

Great fan experience ! Food was delicious and was able to see all the action. Entertaining with great music and halftime shows. Hubby caught a parachute falling from the ceiling. And most importantly Celtics won! read more

Its a busy area, very close to North End-never had any problems.
How about parking ? Is it right there and how much does it cost for the evening?
I believe we parked on the street but that had to be limited. It has been a bit but o believe there was a pay lot on the corner
