Iced Pineapple Passion Fruit Green Tea with fresh boba.

Best boba in Natomas: house made syrups, fresh fruit, and soft, chewy pearls made perfectly every time. The owners are very friendly and even remember my order!

I finally made my way to T 18 this past Friday. It was a hot sunny day so I needed something cool to drink. This place is literally next-door to Chili's bar and Grill. It is really cute and quaint inside. I was immediately greeted by a very nice gentleman. To order you can order via the server or you can order on a kiosk. That is right in front of the register as you enter in. It's very easy and it seems like it's a faster process, especially since this place does get a little busy. However, I came on a day that it wasn't busy. I ordered the blended fruit and ice drink, which is basically a slushy. I didn't add anything else to it. I had the flavor combo of strawberry and pineapple. It was delicious and the prices are very reasonable. I have to add since this visit. I did go back again to try their Vietnamese coffee two days later and it was just as delicious.

Still my favorite boba place in Sacramento! I feel like the drinks are such good quality like their cups. I always get the brown sugar with grass jelly and lychee with 50% sweetness. They just added a tablet for ordering recently too!

I didn't expect to find will such good milk tea here! I'm only here visiting and I always want to try local boba shops and not the chains. I wasn't expecting much but their milk tea was so good! I got an iced Classic Milk Tea (Black Tea) and the tea flavor was so nice and strong!!! The tea was BEAUTIFUL. I wish they would open one near me! My bf got a hot Okinawa Milk Tea and that one was great too! Some shops make an Okinawa milk tea like a brown sugar milk tea which aren't interchangeable to me. Brown sugar milk teas are a more deep caramelized taste that's sticky sweet. The Okinawa milk tea brown sugar tastes very light and clean which is exactly what it's supposed to taste like. Im definitely coming back again and again!

What a cute little boba shop with refreshing drinks and delicious tea! The interior is small but clean, and the staff are friendly and efficient. There are no kiosks for you to order from, so you need to tell a staff member your order. I've only been here a few times, but the drinks are quite affordable (especially since I'm used to paying at least $8 these days for boba). Tea 18 is in the same lot as Yue Huang, and the parking spaces are a little tight. It's pretty much always busy but I've always been able to snag a spot decently quickly. The other day I ordered a Hokkaido MT w/ boba, and my drink was ready in less than 5 min. There was only a DoorDasher waiting for an order in front of me. I went with 50% sweetness and less ice, which is my favorite combo for milk tea. The boba was perfectly chewy and not overcooked or mushy. I haven't tried their blended drinks yet since their teas are my go-to, but would love to do so in the near future. I'd definitely recommend Tea 18 for your boba fix, especially since Natomas doesn't have many boba spots.

We came on a Sunday afternoon & were greeted upon entry. It was a nice day for a cool drink, but unfortunately when we walked in there wasn't much relief because it felt stuffy & warm inside. The smell of cooking boba was in the air. It's a small space with a large dining room style table, a high table with stools for 2, & a small bar with stools for 2. There are seats around the perimeter for waiting. From their popular drinks board, we ordered a Thai Tea & a Vietnamese Coffee, both with boba. We couldn't adjust the ice or sugar levels for the Vietnamese Coffee, & no sugar adjustment for the Thai Tea. The lady who took our order was apologetic about it. There were several orders ahead of us & only 2 ladies working, so it took a while to get our drinks. I saw the ice cream they served was Crystal Creamery. The Thai Tea was deliciously refreshing & not too sweet, which totally suited my personal preference. I love when it comes striated & I have to mix it up myself. The Vietnamese Coffee was SUPER BOLD with a deep, roasty coffee flavor. The boba was nicely cooked. The plastic cups are really sturdy. When in the area, we would be happy to stop by & grab a tasty sipper.

Mango Green Tea with lychee, Taro Milk Tea with boba, winter Wintermelon with Lemon juice

My favorite boba spot in Natomas! The taro milk tea is unmatched. I don't know what it is about it but the sweetness is perfect, the boba soft and delicious. The service is always quick. There are always people in there, ordering or waiting, but it goes quick. It's not really a place to sit and hang out but there is some seating. But for the taro milk tea alone is worth it!

Really good drinks omg. I ordered the Matcha Iced Blended while my cousin ordered the Hokkaido Milk Tea! My drink was delicious and I loved the taste of their matcha. My cousin enjoyed her milk tea as well! Cannot wait to go back and try another drink!

Boba is alway fresh, place is cleaned, drinks are made quick. My jasmine green tea is my go-to summer drink. Tea 18 never disappoints!

I was able to place my order with an employee at the counter and she was attentive and helpful. My sister was debating whether she should add boba to her ice cream black milk tea. She pondered aloud if it would change the overall taste and the employee nodded her head. The decision was made, and we ordered two ice cream black milk teas without any toppings. The standard black milk tea is a delicious base. Adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream makes the taste richer and creamy. If you prefer a less sweet drink you are always able to modify the sugar level. There were a couple of tables inside. One round table that had two stools and a long rectangular table that should probably fit 6-8 people. It was quite a popular spot on Friday night but the employees were ready and prepared the drinks quickly. The parking lot was pretty full but we were able to find a spot, a little walking distance away. I think it must get busy during mealtime hours so keep that in mind. This location was just as good as the Elk Grove location that I frequently visit. I was also able to take advantage of 10% off when I checked-in via the Yelp app. It's always nice to be offered any kind of discount.

Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Boba

Came to Tea 18 since it's near the airport. Plenty of parking since it's in a plaza. Got a jasmine green milk tea with boba and no sugar. The boba is very chewy and cooked well with just a hint of sweetness without too much syrup. Milk and tea combo is refreshing and not heavy. Can't really taste the green tea though. For $5.75, it satisfies my boba cravings! There is a large table here but no wifi so not ideal for working. Would recommend if you're craving some boba on the more authentic side in the area!

Tea 18 interior and taro milk tea drink

Our favorite drink here is the taro milk tea, which is non-dairy, smooth, and flavorful. We recently discovered that Tea 18 participates in Too Good to Go and is extremely generous and thoughtful with their surprise bags. They include 4 drinks for $5.99! The staff label them with detail so we know exactly what we are getting, as I can't have dairy milk but my partner can. We had already been big fans of Tea 18, but the Too Good to Go deal turned us into addicts!

    Gold pomelo green tea
    Brian G.

Lots of good drink choices here. I chose the Gold pomelo green tea. Super refreshing, 70% sweet was perfect. They use actual pomelo juice and pulp in this so the taste is very fruity and citrusy. Probably one of my favorite fruit teas I've had around the sac area! Quick service, good location with lots of parking.

So do y'all close at 8:30 or 9? Cus I'm standing here outside at 8:30 and y'all is closed but the sign says 9pm?

I have noticed that also. If they are closing early, they just need to change the cloaing time. This has happened for me twice.

What would be a healthier option for someone who is health-conscious?

Boba in general isn't quite healthy. Boba doesn't really have nutritional value. It's more of a dessert / chewy treat / guilty pleasure. Milk Tea with Boba is equivalent to a can of soda, due to the amount of sugar, especially if you add other…

Do they use syrups for their fruit teas or real fruit?

I believe it's a combo of: Real fruit + cane sugar syrup + a type of real fruit purée/jam…

Do you have non dairy milk or are you able to make vegan milk teas?

Most milk tea places use non dairy creamers. I'm lactose intolerant and haven't had a problem.

Call me old fashioned, but the process of ordering from a kiosk without an employee present then grabbing my drink that was left on the counter takes away any customer service worth a tip. It's annoying when the tipping screen pops up after placing my order. Sure, the drink came out timely, but we were the only ones ordering in the shop at the time and the tipping screen pops up before my drink comes out. Due to the late hour, I opted to get a non-caffeinated drink. I got the Mango Cloud, 50% sweet with brown sugar boba. The boba was still warm and had a nice chew to it. I particularly like the mango bits.

Bang average, with prices that suggest they're serving gold leaf…read more TOMO Tea House is one of those places where the presentation is doing considerably more heavy lifting than the food. The chilli wonton soup was genuinely good, probably the standout for me. I'd happily go back for that. The cinnamon rolls were alright. I tried the Biscoff Crunch, Dubai Pistachio with Strawberry, Cookies & Cream, and Banana Pudding flavours. They looked the part and were decent enough, but nothing that had me thinking, "Bloody hell, I need another one of these." The waffles, unfortunately, were a different story. They weren't cooked properly through the middle, chewy and gooey rather than crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The Biscoff flavour was also barely noticeable. The drinks are very much geared towards the social-media crowd: lots of milk, lots of toppings, lots of visual appeal. If you enjoy taking a photo of your drink before taking a sip, you'll probably have a field day. And then there's the price. For what you're actually getting, it feels rather steep. The food is, at best, mediocre in several areas, yet the prices seem to suggest these ingredients were mined personally by King Charles. Ironically, I actually would have gone back for the chilli wontons, banana pudding and Biscoff pudding. But the experience around their influencer/collaboration side left a rather sour taste. If you're a collaborator or influencer, BE WARNED! No real communication or courtesy message. Perhaps I'm old-fashioned, but if you're going to deal with people, a simple response goes a long way. But then again, they perhaps cherry-pick whom to interact with based on their social media activity. And finally, watching someone at the counter struggle with some basic maths while taking an order was certainly an experience. I'm all for supporting people, but perhaps the calculator deserves a little more screen time than the Instagram account. Overall: some genuinely good items buried underneath a lot of hype, presentation and rather ambitious pricing. I'd happily return for a couple of the things I enjoyed, but I wouldn't be rushing back for the overall experience. Food: 3/10 Value: 2/10 Presentation: 8/10 Social-media appeal: 10/10 Would I return? For the chilli wontons and a couple of puddings, yes. For the rest... probably not.

Upon entering, the space felt bright and open, with light colored wood details and an outdoor porch area. The ordering process was quick and easy, and I ended up trying a mix of food, pastries, and drinks. I ordered the following: 1. Gravlax Toast: This had an absolutely beautiful presentation, with the salmon arranged nicely on top. I do wish there had been a slightly saltier component to balance the flaky pastry, but it still tasted fantastic overall. 2. Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich: This was tasty, but a little one note for me. The chimichurri did not do quite enough to cut through the saltiness of the meat patty, though the sandwich was still enjoyable. 3. Almond Croissant: This was a standout. The presentation was amazing, the sweetness was not overwhelming, and the texture was great. Definitely one of the highlights of the visit. 4. Sparkling Passionfruit Matcha: I preferred this over the butterfly pea drink. The passionfruit complemented the matcha well and helped cut through some of its bitterness, making the drink feel balanced and refreshing. 5. Butterfly Pea Calamansi Yuzu-ade: This drink was okay, but it leaned sweeter than I expected. I was hoping the calamansi and yuzu would bring more citrus brightness, but they did not cut through the sweetness as much as I wanted. Overall, this was a great cafe experience, and I would come back, especially for the pastries. I will note that they do not offer WiFi, so it may not be the best spot if you are planning to get work done.
