Tea Cafe is so underrated! They take your order and give you your drink at the door, with a table blocking the doors entrance- seems maybe a safety hazard but not a customers problem haha. The bobarista was approachable, sweet toned and quick to service! She was bustling back and forth between the register and the back where they made the drinks. I appreciated her hard work and consistent politeness! The boba itself was SO yummy. I got a small wintermelon milk tea that came out to $4.50. Little pricey, but I found it hit the right spot! The wintermelon was perfectly sweet, but not too sweet. It wasn't too tea like, and wasn't too milky. The boba was not too squishy and not too hard, someone definitely knew how to make it right back there! It was a littttttle sweeter than I prefer for boba, but I'm never against a little extra sugar. I definitely recommend this place- although it's takeout only and you can't really sit and mingle, it's a good grab and go when you're really craving some good boba! First time here. Got the signature milk tea with regular boba. The tea was well made. It was an even flavor of milk and tea and I like that. The boba was perfect and not soggy at all(I'm really picky about boba). I would of gave 5 stars but the paper straw didn't work well with the plastic covering on the cup and broke. Very relaxing place while I was waiting for a meeting. I ordered the fresh watermelon juice which was made from chunks of watermelon blended with water as far as I could tell. Really good, didn't know it was what I needed but hit the right note for me. Milk tea, juices, shakes, smoothies, regular teas, ice cream and coffee. Some dessert offerings and many packaged Asian snacks also for sale. I like how they have the drink sealing machine like at the places I used to go to in Taiwan. I wonder why places like McDonalds do use these to seal their drinks. I'm rarely in the area but happy to have dropped by. read more

I called ahead and ordered my drink. I like the wintermelon milk tea with boba for my son. I got the brown sugar milk tea boba. They both were yummy. The wintermelon is a little sweeter. The service is helpful and quick. The place is clean and modern. I recommend calling ahead with your order cause the parking lot can be busy. read more

I am a milk tea / boba drink expert. Don't believe me? I'm Asian. A tutorial for guys (sorry, can't speak for the ladies). 1. Dress appropriately. Guys, this means skinny jeans, t-shirt (preferably pastel with Asian language characters, or a cute cartoon animal with big eyes) a brown, conservative hoodie and sneakers. 2. Always bring your girlfriend. Don't have a girlfriend? Just pretend you are with the group of girls in front of you. it helps with the authentic ambience. 3. Always hold your mobile. Don't look at it, just hold it and move it between your hands. 4. Listen closely and prepare to repeat what the person in front of you has ordered. It goes something like this: "I'll have a Hong Kong size winter melon, hazelnut, vanilla tea with chocolate milk and strawberries, plus extra boba, less sweet with 30% more sugar". Ignore any confusion on the part of the counter person. They are probably shocked at your milk tea prowess. 5. Pay by card not Apple pay and never cash. Act like you care and take your reward points. You're worth it baby! Bottom line, while their teas aren't that special, currently lacking any fresh fruits, specialty base teas or wide assortment of jellies and puddings, what they make is solid. Props to the Thai Tea smoothie 50% sweet, loaded with caffeine. Different, but satisfying egg waffle. Made fresh (takes approximately five minutes), served hot. The aroma makes you salivate. Crisp edges but much chewier than expected (perhaps more tapioca flour and less custard flour than the traditional recipe resultuing in more gluten). Well-controlled sweetness. Service is friendly but not fast. Staff is still being trained. Not bad if you're in the area and craving an egg waffle with a side of milk tea. read more

I come here often because my son loves boba tea. There are many options here from fresh fruit smoothies to a fancy ube boba tea drink. Everything we've had was delicious and fresh. The ladies that run the store are always helpful, patient and friendly. Parking is often usually plentiful when we go in the early afternoon. The line can get long, depending on the time of day, so it could be helpful to call in your order as sometimes there is only one worker taking orders and making drinks by themselves. read more

I've tried a few boba places and this is definitely one of my fav! I love that their tea base is strong and fragrant so their milk tea never taste watered down! I do regular sweetness and it's not too sweet, not too bitter. I've tried Brown sugar milk tea, oolong milk tea, coffee milk tea and Hong Kong milk tea and every thing is delicious!! Since COVID, they've only done take out and it's usually only the female owner taking and fulfilling orders but she's always nice and sweet and services are pretty fast considering it's just her! They have happy hour 1-4pm where you buy 1 and 2nd milk tea is $2 off! It's rare to be able to buy 2 large boba nowadays under $10 and it's DELISH. read more

I really enjoy this tea place out of all tea places that I have tried. Their drinks are not that sweet, fresh fruits, and always made to my liking. I have been to places where I say 50% sweet and it's still to sweet. The workers here are nice, they always have a daily special drink, and plenty of parking. Entered an empty shop (absolutely no workers or customers in sight), but the worker entered from the back immediately. Did not take the time to thoroughly scan the interior, but on quick glance, the interior was clean, cute and comfortable. Ordered a small Signature milk tea without boba. Delicious! The worker suggested this drink after I told her that I preferred a weaker tea taste. The drink was exactly what I wanted-- the tea flavor was not overwhelming and bitter, but the drink was not too sweet either. We had boba here after dinner. I got Thai tea, kids got taro smoothie. Each of them had a bit of a different taste than I'm used to. Thai tea had more of a fragrant tea. The taro tasted a bit more earthy. They are still closed to the public and have you order at the door. Prices are very fair. The boba was soft but kind of flavorless. Lots of drinks to choose from. Prices are reasonable for the amount that you get. My go to is a peach smoothie w/ lychee Boba. Ivy & Janice are super nice & patient. They do phone orders & I believe a good delivery service as well. They even have some snacks you can buy. It's still take out only but understandable w/ everyone still adjusting from the pandemic. Bubble tea is the fast food of Asia, but that does not mean the quality of tea and ingredients are any less important. Tea Cafe gets it right and prepares its bubble tea drinks with properly brewed tea that tastes authentic to flavor; not that burnt stuff that makes your teeth feel like cardboard. I just so happened to be in the area, and thought of stopping by, and I'm so glad I did. I just ordered the $1.99 shave ice, because it caught my attention, "$1.99?! Say what?!" So $1.99 is for the small shave ice. The staff brought out a huge flavored ice brick and placed it in the shave ice machine. The shave ice was very soft and smooth. I ordered the $1.99 small mango shave ice with mango topping and condensed milk $.99, so total was $3.12. Very refreshing and delicious. My sister and I just happened to stumble upon this place while waiting for our takeout to be ready near by. They closed off their seating area and just do take out. They have a set up right by their door along with the menu. Very quick service and the lady helping us was very nice. We got the matcha green tea with cheese foam and boba, and black tiger milk tea with boba. They also do a reward card after you buy ten drinks you can get one for free. Would we come back? Family owned and operated. Very friendly customer service. Newly opened. And oh so yummy!!! I had a strawberry and lychee smoothie with lychee jello. It had just the right amount of sweetness, and it was topped with fresh strawberries too! My hubby had the iced black tea with lychee flavor and boba. I had try it because he said it was really good. Our go-tos are the real watermelon slush (with boba) and the dragonfruit smoothie. If you like coffee, I *highly* recommend the coffee frappe! Hong Kong milk tea is a nicely balanced bittersweet.
