So glad I found this place. They took me in last minute which I really appreciate. The staff is all super sweet. The salon is super cute, they offer beverages and have quite a few stations for nails and pedicures. Tina did my nails. She was super gentle and very meticulous. I showed her a pic of a set I wanted and she did it even better! She was asking me if I liked the color and design to make sure I was happy! Will definitely return. They have a lot of different designs you can look at but also just show them what you want! read more

Been here twice so far for gel with designs. Everyone here has been very detailed, friendly and artistic! I've been very happy with my nail designs Price for a base gel is reasonable as well as any special design add-ons. I have been able to walk in during the weeknight evenings without needing to wait. If you pay with cash, you avoid the $1 credit card charge. I also recommend bringing a mask & fingerless gloves to avoid breathing and nail dust & protecting your skin from excessive UV. read more

Got a manicure with Nini. I booked her because I saw some photos of her work so I expected good things. EXCEPT, my nails look nothing like the photo I showed her. IT WASNT A COMPLICATED DESIGN EITHER!! She barely spent any time looking at the photo and just went ahead and did my nails. The nails don't look horrible...but it's nothing like the design I wanted. I've been coming here several times now and usually leave really happy! The nail techs here really take their time and care for each customer. I always feel taken care for and Rosa is the sweetest. I usually get gel mani/pedis and occasionally gel x. The salon has a bunch of designs to choose from or you can bring your own design. I'm the type of person that has trouble choosing when there's too many options but the techs have been helpful with suggestions as well. My nails today turned out better than I expected so I am super stoked! Thank you' :) read more

I want to say that at first I was disappointed with my hard gel manicure last week. I went back on Saturday to fix one nail that lifted. Tuesday comes around and one more came off and others lifted. They were kind enough to remove all my hard gel and gave me a fresh set. I was really only going to get the other nail fixed but they went above and beyond to make it right. Nora was kind, patient and knew how to keep a conversation with me. :) it made the time go by fast. I really appreciate what they did to fix the problem. I'm glad they were all understanding and even know they didn't need to be sorry I am glad they made feel comfortable enough to come back. read more

Had a terrible experience with my set. I got a gel nail builder with no design and was charged $70. I'm not sure why they overcharged me but the quality of work does not represent what I paid. There's was uneven the way she overlayed my nails and unclean around the edges. I feel like I had duck fingers! After about 1.5 weeks, my nails started to chip. Not only that but the tip of my nails started to get some yellowing!! This has not happened to me before and I feel almost embarrassed to go to my usual nail shop to get this removed because of how terrible the work is. I do not recommend this place, there are better choices in the SGV. read more

Good nail salons are hard to come by these days. If you are looking for clean, affordable, skilled nail techs you'd think Tea Nails Bar would be the place to go in SGV. Although, I came here twice and I didn't have the best experience. Appointments took way too long and there only seems to be one person who has the skills to do more intricate designs. Both times, I felt like my gel manicure took forever. These are manicures done on my natural nails without any extensions or Gel X. Although, I appreciate how thorough the nail techs are at Tea Nails Bar I don't think gel manicures should take 2-3 hours long and I am beginning to question the skill levels of the nail techs here. The first nail tech I had was Tina and she didn't seem to know how to create the marble designs that are posted all over their IG page. She messed up a couple times and Lisa had to take over to complete the design. The second time I came in was yesterday and I had Khloe. She took a really long time with just the manicure (cutting and filing nails, cutting cuticles). She was very careful which I appreciated, however when it came to applying the gel polish, she didn't apply a base color to allow the sheer polish to stand out. Also, the application looked messy and there were tons of little pieces of lint in the polish. She took everything off but at this point I was already almost 2 hours into my appointment. I was feeling so frustrated that I complained to Lisa and she ended up taking over again. Lisa was quick and we finished with the design I wanted in about 20 minutes. Although, I do feel like we rushed the application process and my nails didn't come out exactly as I had pictured. They did give me a discount for the reopening special which was 20% off until June 6th and an additional $5 off for messing up my nails, but I'm really not sure I will be returning. I don't think I can sit through 3 hours to get my nails done each time. The prices also seem to be all over the price depending on designs and styles. I feel like they tend to make up a price on the spot. The first time I got my nails done it cost $85 for two marble designs on each hand and 6 tiny crystals versus $40 for a simple glitter on all my nails this previous time. The price difference is quite outrageous even considering the 20% off. read more

Bad service bad, worst customer service. Not professional. Don't try to waste your money. The light is broken not fix it and just want to rush and skip the detail work. This lady just keep compliant she don't have break and she is hungry. She only base on commissions not hourly...keep complaining. Come on talk to your boss not me. I've came here twice now and I loved my nails each time. However, I'm very upset with my experience of getting my nails removed. When I got there the nail tech I had booked was busy so a different lady removed my nails for me which was a mistake. All my nails are damaged and have the rings of fire now. There was another customer that had walked in and I could tell she started to rush my nails. My nails are so brittle right now and they are in a lot of pain. I came in today as a walk in. The two ladies that helped me with my hard gel manicure and pedicure were super sweet. Total service time was about an hour and the ladies did such an amazing and efficient job. Pro -very clean, cute, and smelled amazing -staff was very friendly and helpful -so many options to choose from -complementary snack station Con -parking is a bit tough but there is street parking -can be easy to miss if you're not paying attention Helpful tips -walk in are welcome but make an appointment if you have a schedule to keep and don't want to wait. Definitely won't be going back. I needed a gel set on natural nails for a wedding and thought that one hour would be plenty of time (my normal nail place does a set with design in about 45 mins), but over an hour later, they only finished the base. My original reference photo included nail art on top of a cat eye base, which they said they would be able to do. When the person saw my design in person, she said that she didn't know how to do it and had to consult someone else. I was in a rush and had to leave an hour and 15 mins into the appt, so I just got the basic cat eye base. Originally, when I booked the appt, they said that it would be $35 for the gel and $40 design estimate for the reference photo, but I was charged $50 for the cat eye base with *no* design. I agreed to pay and tipped, but I felt pretty ripped off about it. read more

This was my first time and I am so happy with the service! I was seated immediately and was even offered something to drink! The place is spacious and clean. I know it has good air circulation when I walk in and don't smell that strong chemical scent. I got a gel X French tip manicure (full set on bare nails) for $85. I've always been afraid of pedicures but they made my first-time experience an amazing one! I almost fell asleep with how comfortable I felt. I got a gel pedicure for $50. Tea nails is my new go-to spot to get my nails done! They specialize in manicures and pedicures, offering Gel-x in a variety of colors and designs. They have free beverages (water, soda and tea - hence the name!) for customers to enjoy. Prices are reasonable and the technicians are very friendly. Shout out to Tina for taking the time to really perfect the designs on my nails. You should definitely request for her as your tech because she will bring your nail inspo to life! They accept Apple Pay, Venmo for tips and even offer check-ins for deals. Be aware that there is only outside street parking instead of a parking lot. Came here for the good reviews on yelp... I've had gel x extensions for years . My girl was busy and I was in dire need for a new set for an upcoming trip so I came here and wow oh wow it was bad!! First nail came off the next day .. they fixed it the next day. Two weeks later , another one comes off ! My nails usually last several weeks . Never had I had a nail come off . Also just a side note ; if you are sensitive ; don't come here . Ladies here have no filter. The llady who did my pedicure , obviously didn't learn " if you don't have anything nice to say , don't say it at all" (She commented how thick my legs were and if I was a runner. When I explained that I had just called about a walk-in manicure, she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. She then started asking "One manicure? Two? What do you want?" in an almost interrogating tone instead of simply greeting us or telling us to have a seat and pick colors like they used to. The whole interaction felt awkward, dismissive, and honestly uncomfortable. Customer service and basic courtesy matter. We ended up leaving because I'm not giving my business to a place that treats customers that way. Really disappointing experience. If only I could give this place a zero, I would.

Eight days after that $180 set, one nail completely fell off with no pain. Anna said she didn't know why it happened, booked me three days later to fix it, and charged me $20. Four days after the repair (about two weeks after the original set), 9 out of 10 nails were lifting from the sides. Again, Anna said she didn't know why and initially told me to come back in three days. I explained I was concerned about moisture and possible fungus, and suddenly she had availability the same day. That was frustrating. When I arrived, Anna didn't examine my nails or apologize. Another tech removed and reapplied a new set, and I was charged $80. Within two weeks, I had spent $280 total. I was only given a $20 gift card. Eleven days later, my thumb nail fell off again. When I reached out, Anna once more said she didn't know why. After spending hundreds of dollars here, I'm very disappointed with how this was handled. The customer service was poor, and I would not recommend this salon.

I actually drove from South Bay to San Gabriel (LOL) because I was really enamored and respected her artistry. I loved the little salon and how professional Lannie is. She's been in the industry for well over two decades and it clearly shows. I appreciated her patience with me as I'm new to getting nails done. The single one star review is actually from a temp employee that is no longer with Lannie! Her prices are on par with most salons. If I remember correctly, it's $40 for single color gel, and then $2-3 per nail for art, $2 per nail for gold flaking. Obviously it really depends on the designs you want but expect about $75 on average, and don't forget to tip either. If you're not sure, she responds pretty quickly to estimated costs. The gel manicure lasted me about 2 weeks, and I ended up taking mine off at home but didn't do it correctly so my nails are pretty bad and will probably take a few more weeks or months to get back to what they were like before. I'd just get it taken off for $10 or so at a reputable salon next time I get gel. I'd love to come as a regular but the salon itself is too far away for me to be comfortable to make that time commitment (2 hour roundtrip + 2 hour appointment) every two weeks. So for now, I think I'll probably try to stop by when I have a day off or for special occasions. Lannie's really busy, expect to need to book an appointment 2-3 weeks out.

Weekdays are a little better, esp. during fall/winter, however, still call as early as you can just to be sure. Looking forward to many more fun nails appointments.

No pain except a bit on the left pinky but again, habitual nail biter so not their fault. I paid 65 total for the set and manicure. + 9 tip (1 dollar extra for credit card) so 75 total. I had to get this for a conference but hey if I needed to get this done, this place seems solid! Again I know nothing bout nails so.... Place was pretty clean, she pulled out a whole bunch of new supplies which was nice. would come again if needed! I'll figure out how this works somehow haha
