S6. Land & Sea Bowl with mango , crispy onion and green onion

Second time here and my opinion is still the same! The food is absolutely delicious. The service was efficient. They pack the bowls to the rim which is nice and makes the price worth it. I've never dined in, however the ambiance appears to be quiet and relaxed. Most people I see there order to go. Definitely my go to spot for poke.

Tea Poke is in a convenient location near many offices and buildings. I get to walk here from my office to lunch some days. The poke bowls are made right infront of you, the fish is always cold and the toppings are fresh! I like to get a half greens/ half sushi rice bowl. The portions/options are adequate and healthy. The staff is very friendly!

I went on a Saturday for lunch around 2pm, and this place was empty. Since it's across the street from St. Vincent's I'm assuming that it probably caters to a lot of medical clientele during the week. At least during the weekend it's fairly empty and very quiet. I ordered a make your own poke bowl, and I'm the type of person who likes to add absolutely everything they offer. My friend ordered the premade salmon breeze bowl. I think as far as protein goes they're quite generous with the amounts. In comparison to the Kazu sushi in the town center or bentos around town, you definitely get more protein here than you get elsewhere. However, if you're like me and you're someone who likes to get all the fixings then they start to add less and less towards the end, even if the bowl isn't completely full. That makes sense since I'm eating them out of house and home. If you're getting a premade bowl it usually takes up half the bowl itself. I've been here before but I didn't check in. I would say stay away from the salad bases since it takes up a lot of air space and looks like there's more than there actually is. Do the sushi rice. They do the sushi rice right and actually use rice vinegar with it. Very tasty. I had to take a point off for service though unfortunately. Not sure if she was having a bad day, but the lady at the front wasn't very personable, but her daughter who works the cash register is cute. Awkward and getting used to the business but great none the less. ALWAYS TIP. Especially for a cutie like her. Heads up the silverware is in the corner of the store rather than them handing it out, up front, so if there were more people I can see it being more of an issue, since it's by the water. The water is self-serve with plastic cups right next to it. However, it does have that sink water taste even though they try to cover it with lime and lemon. I'd stay away from it, personally. I didn't try the boba tea, but I do see people trickling in throughout the time I was there only ordering it, so I my pop by and try it some time. Overall, a good family run business with generous protein portions. Come check it out!

My go to spot. Just recently found this Gem a couple of month ago while riding my bike. At times this place seems to be closed with the dark window tint but definitely worth it to double check as they have the best Poke Bowls around. The bowls are plentiful. They have specialty bowls and build your own bowls along with a large variety of drinks, Bubble Teas, and indoor and outdoor seating. Their protein is always fresh and the workers always seem pleasantly happy. I would definitely recommend this establishment to those who seek a great poke bowl. I believe they also have sushi burritos and other great dishes.

Incredible speed and menu options for boba! The flavor was pleasant a refreshing The boba are slightly smaller than my usual, so I'd recommend getting an extra scoop. Definitely consider swinging in on your way and grab some Poké, too!

I love Poke bowls so seeing another spot open up close to home is great for me, now I have options. This restaurant is new and clean. The staff is courteous and patient with me when I go back and forth with what toppings I'm in the mood for. The ordering is similar to other Bowl-centric establishments. All the ingredients are displayed in plain sight and you just tell them what you want added. There are also named combinations that you can order. To make this place even better they also have ice cream.

    Elyscia S.

Nice employees and good ice cream. I wish they had a more variety of toppings. But I got the green tea ice cream with lychee whip cream and mochi and all of that was very tasty. However the bubble cone was cold and not hot at all from what I typically expect when I get a bubble waffle ice cream. They should make them made to order so that it's warm when the guest is eating it. But other than the lack of variety of toppings and the cold bubble waffle it was nice.

Healthy, fresh and delicious! The shop is located across from the Hospital and next to Gate gas station in a nice bricked plaza. A 5min drive from my work office and convenient. The staff were nice and very fast at making the poke bowl. I ordered The Triforce and a Passion Fruit Green Tea. The Triforce consisted of the following: tuna, salmon, scallops, pineapple, cucumber, poke special sauce, sweet chili sauce, kani salad, seaweed salad, green onion and roasted seaweed. Very fresh with a nice blend of raw fish, pineapples and vegetables with a nice sweet and hint of spice. The Passion Fruit Green Tea was very refreshing with a good balance of the tea and passion fruit. It wasn't too sweet, which was great! Overall, I would recommend this place for a nice lunch and would love try out their ice cream waffles next time.

I really like this place and am surprised I didn't leave a review sooner! I've ordered this for delivery through Grubhub and have also ordered in the shop. The restaurant has a large parking lot and is easy to get to. Once inside they have a full menu of poke bowls and boba teas. I always make my own especially because the toppings are unlimited! Usually I get a mix of salmon and tuna or just one or the other. I also get a mix of brown rice and spring mix so this feels like a fairly healthy option. They have a ton of sauces/dressings too! The boba tea is not the best in Jax since it is made with the powder, although the taro with boba is pretty good. My boyfriend loves thai tea, but was not a fan of theirs. I like that they also have some unique toppings like red beets that you can add to the bowls. The crispy fried garlic is my favorite, and other poke spots don't always have that. The price is right at Tea Poke Spot! I can get a giant bowl filled with protein, rice, and stacked high with veggies for $10-$15 depending on how much fish you get. The people working are friendly and they make the bowls super quickly. This is a great little local spot for a quick and healthy lunch or dinner. They do have lots of tables for dining in, however I always take mine to go.

Good proportions. Fresh tasting raw fish. And good Boba tea. I usually do not like when the tea has Boba in it, but I enjoyed it this time since the little balls they put in weren't too chewy and firm. They were a bit soft but not mushy. Which I really enjoyed. I got myself salmon and shrimp for my proteins. The salmon was delicious. And tasted fresh. For two, it was around 40+ bucks with 2 drinks. It was a bit expensive but the quality of food is worth it.

I heard of this place from one of my coworkers. I love poke and bubble tea so I decided to go try this place out, because why not right? It's their grand opening! The vibe from the place is very chill and relaxed. I love the music that they play here, so soothing. The people here are super nice and greet you right away. I did a build my own poke bowl. For the base I got brown rice, for protein I did spicy salmon and spicy tuna, added corn, edamame, jalapeno, imitation crab, seaweed, and their special sauce. For a drink I ordered a passionfruit green tea. Omg the poke bowl was packed with flavors, and so fresh! A bit of spice, savory, and a taste of the sea. Definitely umammiiiii!! This poke bowl is hands down the best poke bowl I've had in Jax yet! So freaking delicious! Man chef's kiss material indefinitely! As for the passionfruit green tea, so good! Very refreshing and not too sweet! Just the right amount of sweetness and passionfruit combine. I 10/10 highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again to try their poke bowls, drinks, and desserts!

I remember driving by this place and thinking, "Wait...what? Ninja Sushi is gone?". That place was hit or miss with their food but whoever decided to put a bubble tea and poke bowl restaurant there in its place is a genius. I was at home not feeling great and I decided to order some delivery from here. I was leaning towards getting a sushi burrito but ultimately chose to get a poke bowl instead. I hadn't had one in a while anyway and I'm due. I chose the Create Your Own Bowl option with sushi rice, spicy tuna, sweet corn, edamame, cilantro, black beans, green onions, mango and for extra added strangeness mozzarella cheese with a side of lemon dill aioli sauce. Only added it because it sounded interesting. To wash all this down I got a Four Season Spring Tea with Fresh Lime. It wasn't described on the menu so I had to google what Four Season Spring was, to which Google stated it was like a Jade Oolong tea and look at that, Oolong is my favorite tea. Kudos to the restaurant for packing it up securely. The Bowl was delicious and actually ended up being more than what I could eat in one sitting. The spicy tuna I thought would be just chunks of tuna but was actually chunks and mashed up tuna and that was fine. The tea though...that was fire. Freshly brewed and crisp. They through in what seemed like 20 lemon/lime slices so when the tea was gone I kept refilling the cup with water just to continue savoring the citrusy aftertaste into the night. Dang that was a good meal.

The build your own poke is also one of my go-to choices and their ramen bowls will give you delicious leftovers for days! Basically it'd hard to go wrong here. Other random side notes are that they're closed Monday (which i forget alot) & their miso soup is made with a more savory (bone?) broth that I'm used too- not a bad thing, it just surprised me. First off all, anyone who has ever lived in Arlington knows that this used to be Grand Asian (Chinese Food). This restaurant is close to Jacksonville University. I remember really enjoying the Chinese food then and I'm glad this restaurant features Asian Fusion options which includes Chinese food favorites. I appreciate that this new restaurant doesn't take away the options available in this area, it just adds on to the existing familiar fare. Merrill Road has its fair share of Chinese food places but I love how there's much more variety here in one location. DRINKS Boba - while I typically omit boba from the milk tea and slush drinks now (avoiding the extra calories), their boba is actually made quite well. It's well cooked, not too hard or extra squishy. Their taro slush is perfect. I tried the Kumquat with lemon as well and it's such a great alternative to plain lemonade on a hot summer day. This comes with lychee and I added popping boba (different from regular boba) which adds another layer of citrus burst in my taste buds. Drinks featured in the photo include: Mango sweet dew, strawberry, Thai tea and jasmine green tea. I was NOT a fan of the Thai tea. It tasted a bit watered down. (I will attempt to order Thai tea at a later date because I cannot let it affect this review of otherwise amazing drinks and food) FOOD: Poke I ordered a poke salad with spicy salmon x2, marinated tuna. Delicious! The poke bowl size is very generous. Price depends on how much protein you get but pretty much unlimited toppings until you get to the avocado and crunchy toppings (max 3). Sauce: teriyaki, spicy mayo and eel sauce. Yum! Ramen (Tonkatsu) This was so good! Presentation threw me off. I later realized that we were given the "to-go" bowl of ramen so everything was not submerged. Makes sense why it looked dry at first. Since we were eating in the restaurant I would have loved to see a real ramen bowl with real chopsticks but these details are insignificant. The ramen broth is so rich in flavor. The tonkatsu pork hit the spot and was well made! The noodles, once soaked in the broth, had a nice smooth texture and absorbed so much good flavor. Pictured but did not try (was told it was good) include Takoyaki (octopus :)) Seating: there's plenty of it! The cushioned seats were much appreciated. Anyone with back pain would definitely appreciate longer conversations & hanging out without feeling like their spine is locking up. Other features: Kiosk for self check out. I really like this!
