Absolutely the best boba place in Arizona. I have tried more than I can count, and this one tops them. Definitely a hidden gem in the west valley. Trendy and clean inside. Staff is very friendly. Wait time takes a little longer than usual but it'll be worth it. Photo prop on the wall inside is so cute for Instagram, while holding your drink. I always get the milk tea boba. Decided to stop in and grab a drink with my boyfriend. He got a tea with three add ins, I got the Vietnamese pour over. The girls there were nice but uninformative and didn't really give any recommendations. I requested a purée to be added to a drink and was told it was not possible? But it seemed possible on the menu by the way it was set up (there is a list of add ins for drinks and what not). The coffee could have used more cream; it was not smooth at all. I absolutely love Teacup! It's my favorite boba shop in the West Valley. Teacup has a great vibe. I love bringing friends here because it's such a great place to sit down and have a conversation. There are even board games here that you can play, making it such a friendly and inviting place. Also the boba here is fantastic! My personal favorite is the Matcha green tea boba. Update: I went back to Teacup a couple days ago and tried the rose milk tea boba. It was amazing! My friend had a chicken and waffle cone here and he really enjoyed it. I never leave reviews on yelp so me typing this out means THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I would say that I'm a little obsessed with boba and I'm pretty picky with the boba spots I go to. Teacup is my favorite place in AZ so far and I'm so happy that we finally have a great boba spot on the west side. Not only are the drinks delicious, the staff are amazing. Tammy is the sweetest! We were surprised to see a boba tea shop here! After tried sushi and it turned out to be Mexican sushi. We didn't have high hope for boba tea. But it actually over our expectations and way better. I have strawberry black milk tea, less sugar, light on ice. I love it! My hubby had strawberry black tea but we both felt it was too less strawberry flavors. We came back next day and I ordered same thing and he ordered Kumquat black tea and we both felt it was decent. We this time also ordered popcorn chicken: need more crispy and less flour. I asked her what it was and she replied "Vietnamese coffee" in a very sarcastic tone. I have been going to Teacup ever since they first opened with the original owners. I have been pleased every time with my boba and service! I haven't been going as much recently due to a decline in service and the quality of the boba. I always got the same order since they first opened, so I noticed a change in what I was getting. I was very disappointed with my recent orders. I normally get light ice because my whole cup would be filled with ice; however, there hasn't been much of a difference with regular ice and I have confronted the workers when that happened but it's happened too many times to keep saying something. I went a few days ago and the cashier could barely hear me and I had to keep repeating myself because of the loud music. In addition to that, the cashier was not wearing professional work attire. She was wearing a crop top with a waist bead around her stomach. I have always seen the workers in proper attire. I felt like I was ignored and a burden! I had multiple instances where the workers forgot to add the syrup flavor into the tea so I would get home and have to go back to add the syrup. If I am paying $7 for my drink, I would expect it to be made right the first time. I understand mistakes, but for it to happen multiple times it can be frustrating. I don't think I will ever go back to Teacup which is sad because it is very convenient and I loved the drinks. This is my first time reviewing because I was that disappointed with the service and boba. I hope there is a change to this place. :( read more

Finally got to try Teacup, I can check that box now. Pretty clean and great ambiance. Got the Avalanche for myself and Thai Milk tea for my friend. I'm actually not impressed with their bobba, it's bland, too chewy (bobba is supposed to be soft and a little chewy) and smaller than from other places. Wow this place has changed! It used to be a relaxing "chill vibe" to pick up some tea and play board games with friends. Now there's really loud club music on most visits, which isn't a big deal but it does switch up the vibe which I prefer to be more chill instead of something you might play to workout. On Feb 17, there was a girl working the night shift wearing a bright red lacy bra. And that's it when it came to her top lol. She even went the whole nine yards by pulling up her sparkly panty straps to show over her hips. Listen I think it's fun when employees can express themselves, but I do think a little professionalism and class can go a long way. It also looks unsanitary for a lot of bare skin AND PANTY STRAPS!! to be coming in contact with just about every surface of the food/drink area. Employees don't even greet you with "what can I get you?" Or anything anymore either, they just stare at you in silence and wait for you to say something first. It's awkward and unwelcoming. Also I think they either changed their matcha powder or the recipe or something because it's all I come here for and the past two visits it's just tasted like milk :( it used to be sweet and earthy but now it doesn't taste like anything. Teacup offers customizable drinks, such as the amount of sugar added and their boba is by far the best. Unlike many boba places, Teacup's boba is sweet and has the perfect texture (really important for boba addicts like myself). They also have delicious and easy to eat snacks here! Now that i've finished it, it resembles lime juice with like purified or soft water. The apple boba wasn't as i expected, made the drink a bit sweeter, no harm. was expecting the circle popping boba but it was more like cut up gummys. So we order here every week and we always place a big order but the last few time our order when down hill they keep messing up our order like we pay to add boba or see-salt form on the top and they would forgot to add them, so each time we had to call them to tell them about it because we did pay for it but they forgot to add it in so ofcouse we would like the credit for it. Their credit systems suck as well because when you call the day they would said yes we can give the credit for next time but when we order again they would say they don't have any record!! Anyway When my coworker when to pick it up last time they say that we been complaining too much or something because my coworker was a rush to leave he didnt pay much attention but the thing is if the stuff would double check the order to make sure the order is correct there wouldnt be any complaint! And this last order we order a rose milk tea and we make a note on the online order to make sure no sweet, and we call them right away to make sure they make the order correctly but they still mess up our order the Rose green tea was so sweet that I couldn't drink them! Call them again they said they couldn't make the rise tea not sweet bc they used the rose syrup that had sweet in it, so how come no one call to let us know!! So we can order something else!! I've only been to Teacup 3 times now, but every time I go the service gets better and better! Usually every time I go it seems that the owner/manager is always upfront and engaging with his employees, you can tell everyone loves working here. I went tonight and the gentleman at the register was very friendly in holding a conversation, he was very knowledgeable on the drinks and made everything sound delicious! He even made sure to double check that I got my punches for my drinks, which makes it seem like they appreciate the customer loyalty. Unfortunately when I got into my car I dropped one of my drinks, when I went in to ask for a new cup, he went above and beyond and offered to remake me a new one! I love having this type of family business in the area since we live near Teacup, I will definitely be a returning customer and hope to see them expand in the future.
