I was getting poke house and had a sudden urge for some boba, so we ordered online. We had the House Milk Tea 2.0 and the Grasshopper. The milk tea was extremely sweet (even after ordering 50% sweet) and felt as if it needed more boba. In my opinion, it was an average boba drink. The Grasshopper on the other hand was not a milk tea and more of a refreshing drink. But they did forget to add my boba in my order, so hard to say if the drink would have been better with or without it. Overall, wasn't really impressed with this place. read more

I would rank Teaspoon as one of the top five boba shops in the Bay Area. Their drinks are consistent if you were to hop around the many Teaspoon stores they have scattered across the Bay. My personal favorites are Grasshopper, Liquid Gold, and customized drink ( Japanese Rice milk tea). One thing that disappointed me with the most recent trip I've had here was that one of their employees was being rude to every customer in line including me. I don't know if they were just having a bad day but they really made the experience bittersweet, it looked like they were gonna rage-quit after their shift was over. read more

Ordering was pretty simple with minimal contact. You can just hover your credit card over the card reader. I ordered a lychee on lychee with mango stars and also hangover 3. They were both tasty and refreshing to have on a hot day. The guy that took my order was friendly and later he offered to throw away my trash which was nice. I always pre order online and this is the 3rd time they run out of honey boba. I drive at least 20 mins to this specific location because they always have been really good and having my drink ready with no problems. They were 10 customers that walked in to place orders and walked straight out because she said they were out of boba. We were going to have our usual milk tea at Createave but found Teaspoon in its place. A guy was outside giving away samples generously and he has such passion for their products. So we decided to try them out and they did not disappoint. We all liked the "grasshopper" tea and got mine with less sweet in it. Stopped by after getting Poke House next door. The inside is very clean, nicely decorated and overall a great place to study and hang out with friends! Upon arriving, we noticed only one employee (cashier and barista) working and a slowly growing line. He apologized for the wait but I did not mind at all. I ordered the House Milk Tea with honey boba regular sweetness and low ice. When we got the drink, I realized there was no ice in it but did not want to wait for it to be fixed. I came here to study and boy do I love this space. It's clean, fresh, organized, has wifi, and chargers. It's a bit small, but on a Friday afternoon at 1 pm, there is not a lot of people. I got the black tea crema with taro chunks for about $5.04 and it didn't take long for my drink to be made. Considering the fact that I got 0% sugar, I really liked my drink. It wasn't very sweet, but the taro chunks made it sweet and balanced it out for me. Service was super friendly and this place can get loud, but I got my math 2 sat studying done :-)! 10/10 would recommend again. read more

I've been coming to this location for years now. It's changed names and ownerships a couple of times. I must say that I'm happy with Teaspoon! I had their House Milk Tea with Boba. It tasted fresh, and the boba was delicious! My friend had the Lychee on Lychee with Boba and Strawberry Bears--- yes that's right, they actually took the strawberry and formed them into what looks like little gummy bears! It tasted amazing. Because of the use of real fruit, expect it to taste like a real grapefruit whether it turns out sweet or slightly bitter. Virgin Mojitos (with both strawberry and mango flavor): 5/5 The mango one tasted similar to the Mango Funtime, but I adjusted the sweetness levels. The strawberry one tasted good as well, and both flavors taste similar to any fruit tea you would get from iTea, but more refreshing from the lime and mint combined with the jasmine flavors. Though I am a fan of teaspoon for the quality of their product, their service for online orders pissed me off! Apparently placing an online order through their own ordering system - does not skip the line!?? You need go and "check-in" with one their cashiers (who is always busy with taking new orders from customers in line) and then they will put you line to make the drink! WTF - what is the purpose of online order if you need to go and get in line again? I was trying to get to ask them for 10 mins (they ignore you because they want to take more orders instead) and then there were people who ordered after I arrived - walk away with their drinks long before they even looked at me !! So, lesson learnt - never order online at Teaspoon, unless you like waiting in a longer line than being there to order in person! Disappointing service. There are ways to work the online and regular orders together - they need to figure this out. read more

We got the Taro Lover w/ egg pudding and it was DELICIOUS. I was worried that it would be too sweet since I couldn't control the sweetness level but I'm not disappointed. The egg pudding was really good, light, and the taro drink sweetness was just right. No adjustment needed! Oh and I absolutely loved the paper straws! I always love supporting businesses who are environmentally responsible so that's a huge plus! Can't wait to order from here again! My only "complaint" is that I felt like it was a smaller serving than your traditional/typical size boba or milk tea drinks. read more
