I was really excited for their Milk teas. Their menu isn't overwhelming but good amount to choose from and you can also create your own teas. They have snow desserts that I have yet to try at this location. Really good flavor in tea. The place is really clean. Doesn't look so cluttered like other tea shops. Staff looked like they were being trained but very friendly. But I was disappointed when they gave me my drink less than half full. I ordered a purple reve - I believe is a holiday drink (hot). Idk if that's how it goes for hot drinks. But being deceived by a big cup and it being less than half full was sad. I didn't think it was that empty cus of the whipped cream on top. But I went there with my family who were from out of the country on Wednesday evening and ordered 10 drinks. 9 out of 10 with boba. The lady even told us they were out of crystal boba so we changed some orders to regular boba. Then after waiting probably 25-30mins (which we were ok with) we got our drinks but then told us they were out of large boba straws and only had the small ones. I ordered 10 drinks... they could've told us or had a sign up that we couldn't even drink the drinks they made if it had boba in it. Horrible. Really disappointed that we spent this money and couldn't even enjoy the drinks. The lady who made the drinks did not care at all. Just handed it to us to basically figure it out. It was 10pm... not much was open around there that would have boba straws. Bad customer service. I will not come back to this location again. I came over to this Teaspoon location to try it out (and also for the BOGO). The first time I went to this location was during the grand opening week and the customer service was on point just like the one in Milpitas. This location from just this experience was way faster Milpitas' location when serving the drinks. Right as I paid, maybe 30 seconds later, my drinks were ready and I was surprised! The picture that is shown with this review is just a house milktea (og milktea is always good). One drink I definitely recommend is the Rose Petal Milktea. Anyways, I give this place a five star because they served my drink REALLY fast and it was not rushed, and the customer service was friendly. I was hoping my first review would be a good one. But I'm sorely disappointed because of this store and the manager. I love love LOVE boba and Teaspoon is absolutely one of my favorites. I've been a fan since the beginning and I love to go to the Milpitas location because of the staff!! They are awesome and knew my order every time I came in. I remember some of the workers too, the previous store manager, Cynthia, was the absolute best and it made my day because I could never get that type of customer service at any other store. Hands down, they made Teaspoon my absolute number 1 go-to place to get my boba fix! I came here with my boyfriend upon seeing the grand opening sign that the store had recently opened. My excitement quickly turned to disappointment because of everything I was given. We ordered our favorites, the House Milk Tea and Virgin Mojito, but found our drinks to taste completely like water. The black tea didn't even taste like black tea. My boyfriend's Mojito had nasty old limes in his drink. It was a big turn off and a bad first impression for the new location. We noticed a couple other customers had the same experience as well. We were going to ask for our drinks to be remade but we refused after seeing how poor the customer service was as well. The staff seemed to be untrained and looked lost at what to do. To top it all off, Tony the store manager was absolutely rude not only to us but to his staff. I don't think parents would want to hear a manager cussing and giving kids the stink eye in a business they're buying drinks from!!! If this is how you treat customers, this place is definitely not for those looking for a good time. This is the biggest deal breaker for me considering how my experiences at other locations have been quite the opposite. Needless to say, I won't be back to this location ever again. I'll drive the extra distance to the Milpitas and Saratoga location where I know I'm getting quality service. Side note: One of my girlfriends came to the location as well and told me she had a similar situation with the manager. He was rushing into the parking lot with a Teaspoon branded company car and honked and flipped her off because she wasn't moving fast enough. Teaspoon recently opened up another location in the famous hostetter plaza along with many other popular food places like gens and boiling point. I came on the grand opening with a couple friends and was luckily the 30th person to enter so I got a free bamboo bottle and drink (: . Usually when I go to other teaspoons locations, i would get a mango mojito with no boba but my friend told me that Japanese rice was the same as genmaicha so i decided to try it out and I loved it very much. It's probably my new favorite drink to get at teaspoon!! The boba pearls were soft and chewy textured and the Japanese rice tea with cream was sweet and delicious. Although I'm not sure if it was worth waiting over three hours in line for a free drink but i had a good time talking with my friends regardless. During the grand opening they also had a bunch of snacks and fruits offered and handed off free tea samples while we waiting for the opening at 12. Parking is always a struggle in this plaza, since theres so much shops in it, as well as 99 ranch, so it might take a while or you can be lucky and find a spot. The wait probably isn't as long anymore as the grand opening so I'll probably return when I'm around the area since I am already a fan of teaspoons. read more

I've tried: -Liquid gold: 4/5 (honey oolong MT) -Sweet marshmallow: 5/5 actually tastes like marshmallow! -House milk tea: 5/5 I believe all of those drinks are lactose-free but are considered milk tea drinks. I think they use a lactose/dairy-free creamer for it and I don't know how to describe this but like... you can tell? Although it is a milk tea I don't get that same creaminess in my mouth, after a sip you get that watery/slightly bitter left on your tongue. Meaning, I could still taste the tea! She told me to wait a bit, and I understood and told her no worries. Mind you, it was MAD packed and it was really loud so it was hard to hear if she said my name or not. After awhile of waiting, I see a lot of people leaving and more arriving; but I noticed many people started getting their drinks after me. I made eye contact with the girl many times to see if she would tell me if the drinks were ready but no words so I assume it's not ready. However, 30 mins go by and I see lots of people already getting their drinks. Today I drove 25 min to the Hostetter location, got there 20 min before the grand opening and after an hour in line, I moved about 10 feet and there were still almost 100 people ahead of me. No updates from the staff on how long the wait would be. First time I've been to Teaspoon. They conveniently opened up in the Ranch 99 shopping center right near where I live. I'm on the Keto diet and I was so happy that they had options for me. I was able to choose toffee tea with creme and no sugar. The tea was perfect. I don't like my tea steeped too long because it comes out too bitter.
