Milk tea is pretty ace here. Pros: -big cups -pretty good price (base level of 4 without toppings) -has a good amount of seating, like 4 tables and I've never seen them full. -I absolutely love their flavors, they definitely know how to make milk tea look fancy. My favorite is liquid gold, it was like love at first site when I first stepped into the store and set eyes on the oolong tea with honey. Sad that I pretty much can't get it at any other store. Although that's probably for the best because I don't need 1500 grams of sugar every day. -sweetness is milder than some stories, pretty accurate according to what sugar level you get -can watch them make your drinks from behind the counter -they never seem understaffed which is pretty nice. -always have samples out for 2 kinds of tea! Cons: -not really a con but can I just say I love it when milk tea stores have board games? -kinda smallish store -boba itself is super soft and warm when you first get the drink but if you mix it, the tapioca will get hard pretty fast and quick. So pro tip: don't shake the drink when you get it! I kinda like the weird little warm pocket at the bottom but I could understand if people would want boba that doesn't get hard. -a good little amount of wait time for the drinks. -tried to shaved ice ( the avocado one) and it was nothing to write home about. -okay I know I might get flack for this but I kinda wish they did have sizes. I mean the cup they give you is kinda huge which is a blessing and a curse. I know I put it in pros because it's like more bang for your buck but let's be real, how healthy is it to brink like a venti size of boba every time? Just some thoughts. You do you though teaspoon. I'm a fan of the Grass Hopper and always get it at 25% sugar level with regular ice. To me that's good enough as I don't want to taste nothing, but a sugary drink. I always aim to see if I can actually taste the "tea" ingredient mix with whatever the "toppings" may be. I've been liking their almond pudding a lot to which I don't see really anywhere else, but it can be a "desired" taste as I know not a lot of ppl prefer a pudding to their drink that's almond tasting. read more

Ordered the Jasmine Cream & my sister had the Taro lovers drink. Both were pretty good and the boba was sweet and soft too!! Downside was... they ran out of boba!! How does a boba spot run out of boba mid day?! We went there at 1pm on a Friday and after paying, they told us only one drink can have boba because that's all that's left... So that's for the four stars, but quality wise, they deserve a 5! read more

I tried to make an order to go and they told me they only take to go orders on 10 or more drinks. tapioca express on the other side of town does to go and I find it very convenient. First and foremost this business is awesome. Efficient checkout process and overall flow of business model. The tea is great and was excited to see all hand crafted teas are available with a vegan milk option. Then upon reaching the register I found out all the Taro options are pre made and cannot be made fresh or with the vegan dairy. I really wanted to try this place but with that being said I couldn't order the taro unfortunately. Please add vegan dairy as an option for taro and I'll be back everyday. read more

Honestly, this is one of my favorite boba spots so I go out of my way to come to either this spot or the one in Los Altos. I am never disappointed by what I order, from peach oolong tea to virgin mojitos to Thai tea. They serve such good quality drinks! And the boba pearls themselves are so chewy and the right amount of sweet. The portions are fairly large and you really get your money's worth. I ordered the Thai tea this time around and I can never get enough of it. It's so well balanced between the tea and cream used. Definitely one of the drinks I recommend from there! read more

Came to Teaspoon after a days worth of hard work at the library. The place was really nice and the servers were kind and welcoming as well. They took our order and made our drinks quickly. Overall the milk tea tasted really good and had just the right amount of sugar for my taste. I ordered the most basic milk tea with boba and it was quite expensive at around 5$. This location is bigger (but still not that big tbh) compared to their other location near Mitsuwa market. The arrangement of chairs and tables here tho make the place seem really cramped. Like, if all the tables are filled -there's literally nowhere for you to stand to even wait for your drink since they call drinks out on the side where there is a table set up helluh close to it. Went in around 8ish pm on a Sunday night -pretty busy and you could tell as the workers all looked like they were running around. -Cashier was nice and thorough. I asked if the flavored mojitos were sweet and he said he didn't think so. He offered to let me taste the drink before the seal it. He noted it since I saw it on our receipt copy also. Although when they called our drinks, my drink was already sealed. I tasted it, sweetness level was fine so I didn't bother pointing it out to her since I know they have other drinks to pump out. -Strawberry flavored virgin mojito. Tastes weirddd!! People say its refreshing but the strawberry flavor tastes like artificial sweetener. Like the sodas that have zero calories and zero sugar, this drink left the same impression. It didn't taste like a natural strawberry flavor. Booooo. I saw lime pieces in my drink but even at 100% sweetness, I didn' taste the lime. Or the mint. I think the mint was supposed to be the weak piece of boiled down green thing which is disappointing since I know other boba places use fresh mint. -Boba. Really chewy! I loved it. Best part of the night! -Paradise lime at 25% was just sad. No lime flavor. Bf said it tasted off but we can't really put our finger on what was wrong with it. I think its just that there's not enough lime juice in it combined w/ the sweetener they use for it gave a weird taste. He didn't want to complain either since they were busy. Walked in here for a later afternoon pick-me-up, and given the neat, clean and modern atmosphere I was expecting milk tea a bit better than Quickly. Guess I've been spoiled by T-Pumps up the peninsula and Bon Mange out in the valley, or maybe I ordered the wrong thing? I got the most popular drink the barista recommended which was a popular item, I can't even remember but I think it was jasmine, or the gold something one with 50% sweetness. Not enough flavor, sweetness lacking and boba was overpowering. I love boba, the boba was a bit overcooked and there seemed to be a ton of boba and not much milk-tea, or not a adequate ratio of both. I asked if they had the mini boba and they said now, given the narrow cup they serve in the mini boba may work better. I do give them credit that a lot of their non-milk teas looked pretty amazing, a couple people inside were drinking some refreshing looking drinks. I may have to give it another try, and bump up the sweetness, but so far I am not thrilled. read more

TBH the drinks are okay but customer service was amazing. Especially the cashier she was really helpful because I was new around the area. I felt quite embarrassed because I took so long to order but she was very patient and all smiles. She helped me pick what would suit my taste and I went with white grape oolong. It turns out to be my favorite. Her name is Emily or Emma, I don't remember but I left that place quite satisfied. I tried the others on the menu and it doesn't taste as good as the white grape oolong.
