Won't ever visit Santa Clara location again after leaving a review on google map saying my drink has no sugar for my 2 10 dollar drink that I ask for no ice extra shot and regular sweet but the owner instead of investigates what actually happened then denies me knowing what condensed milk taste like I have order multiple drink the past month and I always order no ice so I can save it for work days I know it shouldn't be this deep and it happens sometime right? But it's super unprofessional from whoever reply this made me super uncomfortable !

I stopped by after picking up some dinner next door. I haven't been to a Teaspoon location in quite some time, so it was time to treat myself. After looking through the menu, I decided to get a Black Sugar Assam, as this seem closest to what I have been getting from other shops. I asked the barista if she could make it less sweet, as there was no option for that when I tried to order on the kiosk. She was very accommodating and said that while this drink didn't have a sweetness level, she could adjust the caramel - but it would change the flavor profile. Since I wasn't a big caramel fan anyway, I decided to go ahead with the adjustment. After paying for my order, I sat down and got distracted by the claw machines in the corner. After giving in (and not winning any cute stuffed animal), my drink was ready. I'm not sure how it would have tasted in its original recipe, but I was not a big fan of the drink itself. I still tasted a lot of sweetness and not much of the assam flavor. I ended up drinking only 1/3 of the drink and then tossing it. Since the altered recipe was already too sweet for me - I think it would have been even more so if I didn't ask for less sweetness. In any case - the barista was friendly and accommodating. Service was quick and the experience wasn't horrible - I just didn't like the drink. I've had drinks I've enjoyed from Teaspoon in the past, so I'll just have to pick something else next time.

I used to live in this neighborhood for a few years but never made it over to this boba drink place. The cashier was friendly and made suggestions. Wish I had. I really loved all the choices. My boyfriend loved his Ladybug and I loved my Guava Sunset. Great flavor! Not much of an ambiance but that is not a deal breaker for me. I would try another location.

Plenty of parking spaces. You can also order from the kiosk. I got: Grasshopper Dirty ube Starlight sesame. Hojicha base. Ube astra I don't see merchandise being sold at this location, but the kiosk machine said they are available. I collect their cups if I see them. The tumblers are a good choice too. Staffs don't really interact with you at this location.

My go-to Teaspoon now! Inside is very sweet smelling and I feel like I risk my life getting drinks here due to crazy drivers, but when I make it out in once piece, it's always worth it! It's also next to Shin's Tofu which is delicious! We went during the Goosebumps collab, which is coming out in junction with the new show! It's a matcha drink with a collectible cup. It was $9.25 with oat milk and my favorite the Taro Crème Brûlée was $7.25. The employees are nice and they do replace the boba with taro chunks for me! Other than that, solid drinks!

*Visited on Sunday 9/29/2024 around 8:30pm :) I just wanted to say that though Teaspoon has become a staple and reliable boba shop, I genuinely loved my experience at this location. Even though my group had ordered with the self-ordering kiosk, the staff here was very kind and welcoming - she had asked if we had any questions and made our drinks very well. Though we came a little closer to closing, the store was very clean and had plenty of pastries in their display. I had ordered the Silky Strawberry with Boba, and it was made within 5 minutes after ordering. I also love their Flamingo drink as well as their Grasshopper drink- both pretty refreshing and unique in their own way. You really can't miss going to Teaspoon :)

Solid Teaspoon location! Ordered my drink of the kiosk and in a matter of 2-3 minutes my drink was ready. Very quick service. Not too much seating area here if you were looking for a place to chill and hangout but that did not bother me since I was just taking it to go. I got my usual, the Matcha Royale + Strawberry with oatmilk. You can never go wrong! Other drinks that I recommend from here: -Grasshopper -Silky Mango -Mango on Fire

This location is very clean and sleek, and has a decent amount of space to sit down and enjoy your drink. Similar to other boba shops, they have a tablet that you can order from, making it easy to get what you want the way you like it. The Red Bull Cocolada is very good, and a great choice for anyone who enjoys Red Bull and boba store drink!

I got the silky mango from teaspoon and it was okay. The drink itself tasted like a mango milk with small bits of mango. It was refreshing. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was I felt they skimped out on the boba balls. They didn't put very many and the drink was out of boba by the time I was half way through the drink.

Non-caffeinated rooibos herbal tea and Grasshopper drinks

This is my to go boba shop because I love their non-caffeinated rooibos herbal tea option. Their honey and crystal bobas are consistently soft and cooked well. It's a clean and cozy spot, with friendly and quick service. Their Grasshopper drink which is topped with cucumber juice is a favorite, too.

Cozy setup, good parking spots. Basically serve yourself situation. I don't mind it. I went in to place my order on the kiosk, lots of pictures. They've got snacks as well as drinks. We got the silky honey with oakmilk and the seasonal banana latte coffee 10% sweetness. Banana latte coffee does not have bubbles so add toppings if you want anything! Silky mango was a tad on the sweet side for me, I normally do 0% but does not allow for adjustment of sweetness. Fast service and the take out area looks like it's busy.

Wanna (tea)spoon? Teaspoon is a steadily growing bubble tea chain with 19 existing locations and perhaps more than that number of stores currently in the planning stage. I've enjoyed them in the past and decided on this location simply because it was the nearest one to Valley Fair that wasn't closing early on Thanksgiving Eve. Parking wasn't too bad in the strip mall, ordering was straightforward, and the wait wasn't very long. I had to try their seasonal Pumpkin King ($6) with oolong. pumpkin spice cream and Biscoff cookie crumbles. The oolong is actually a great base for these sorts of drinks and it was certainly flavorful. The pumpkin spice was strong but not overpowering. I found the cookie crumbles a bit disconcerting, and they don't stay fresh for long, but they did lend an interesting pie crust effect which I haven't had before in a milk tea. I enjoyed my visit to this Teaspoon. I'd be glad to come back if I'm ever in the area and I decide that it's more convenient for me than their other locations. There's a lot of competition in the tea space these days, but they obviously know what they're doing.

My local tea shop growing up and STILL my all-time favorite. The boba isn't too soft or hard and the selection of teas is tremendous! Much rather this place than tea with flavored syrup at these new pop-ups. My personal favorite is the roasted oolong milk tea, great way to stay awake while studying without being overly caffeinated. read more

My 4th Teaspoon location. *enter golf claps* Teaspoon is undoubtedly one of my favorite tea shops and this location didn't disappoint. Great service, good drinks, very good boba (probably some of the better I've had from Teaspoon) and a clean bathroom. A $5 drink is normal nowadays but minus a star for their prices. Maybe I'll change this when inflation catches up... read more

I am a boba lover....But this is an honest review This is my first time here ...The place is really clean .I tried their oolong rose petals ,boba topped cream which was wait for it awwwweeesssommee ...I asked for 100% of sweetness but next time I would like to go for no sugar so I could enjoy the taste of tea completely...Still No regrets this time(sweet-tooth devil)... Saw that this place just opened and I loved teaspoon the last time I had it. The drinks are quite different than other boba places in the selection/drink mixes. I had a lychee cucumber drink which is really tasty, refreshing, and different than a typical milk tea, which they also have. read more

Pretty good oriental tea joint ! They definitely cater towards having Eastern teas with a lot more of the exotic teas within there selection they sometimes let you taste and are definitely really happy to help you find what you want. They do a good job of making it just the way you want and are pretty friendly atmosphere. read more

I'm a fan of Teaspoon drinks but this location is my favorite. Great service, and tea done exactly as requested (and not watery or over/under sweet) every time. Staff is well trained! Also, the straws are bamboo fiber (not plastic or soggy paper). Five stars!! read more

My review will be short and sweet. This is my favorite Teaspoon location vs the one in Lost Altos. Staff and their customer service is always friendly and their boba is perfect - not over cooked and always fresh. Thankgoodness for this location because it's closer to home and although it gets busy, the line is never too long and the staff is pretty fast. Although I am religiously a Taro Lover drink person, I have tried their WinterMelon, and Paradise Lime (very refreshing). When I crave for boba, I just go to this location and enjoy a refreshing drink. Thank you Teaspoon Santa Clara for your friendly and inviting customer service! Please keep it up! read more

Thought I'd update this review since I still like Teaspoon. Teaspoon's still one of my go to milktea/boba places. Last time I went was bc some friends wanted shaved ice. I didn't know teaspoon started doing that. Personally, I'd rather go somewhere else for shaved ice but it wasn't bad. It's also sold in individual cups so it's easier to finish if you're on your own. We got the mango, oreo, and avocado flavors. Mango was just ok. Tastes like fake mango candy which i kinda expect w mango flavored things now. Oreo was the best imo. I didn't get to try the avocado. read more

Love the tea here- I especially like the customizable sugar option- I like less sugar. They forgot to put boba in my drink and happily remade the drink. Excellent customer service. Drinks are pricey as each drink amounts to nearly $6. This is a treat for me both from calorie as well as money spent point of view. read more

After almost getting my face ripped off by a dog outside, I dejectedly found my way into Teaspoon. TIL: not all dogs are nice. Why. I had a long day from work and had to finish up a few things, so I spent an hour using Teaspoon's WiFi. They had the Christmas lights up, as well as the tree - it was a nice festive touch. So I worked for a few minutes and got up to use the restroom when I accidentally moved the back of my computer screen and it toppled over my liquid gold drink. And then I just stood there in shock, watching the contents of my drink gush out. Such a shitty day. I proceeded to get up and told the two employees that my drink had fallen and it was everywhere. I felt so, so bad. I picked it up, then realizing there was a hole in my drink from the fall. It was everywhere, a huge lake of a mess. But the two of them proceeded to make me another drink and help clean up the area I made a mess in. They were extremely kind about it and helped alleviate the embarrassment I was going through. While this review isn't about the drink itself, I am grateful for the great above and beyond service I was given. Thanks for making my day less shitty!!! read more

This is the best tea place in the area if you like your drink to have a strong taste of the tea base.. I ordered a drink with oolong tea as a base and also sampled the jasmine with milk and the high mountain tea and in each drink I could distinctly taste the different Chinese teas. Lovely to taste that even with milk and honey added. read more

I've been to more than 30 boba places in south bay, and this is my go-to one. My fav one is actually TP tea in Cupertino, but that place is too hyped up right now and way too crowded, so Teaspoon is the one I go without worrying too much about the wait. I always get either house milk tea or liquid gold, and I've been satisfied with their extra actual tea flavor. read more

The honey boba is always fresh. Beverages are sweetened with cane sugar syrup instead of corn syrup. For those of you with food allergies, they have an oat milk option, and use a formulation that is gluten-free, corn-free, soy-free, etc. Although the tea menu is smaller than some other places, it is well-curated. Courteous service. Straws are made of bamboo fiber instead of plastic, and re-usable straws are also available for purchase. Their re-usable straws appear to be gold-colored, so I have no idea whether or not those are dishwasher-safe; instead I use my own stainless steel straws when drinking tea at home. I came here for their grand opening when they had BOGO, and I got the white grape oolong which I really like at their Milpitas location. But the one I got here was super watered down and not very good at all; I was pretty disappointed. The flavor was definitely not there. There were samples outside that tasted fine though. My friend got their hojicha and it was flavorful. Maybe it's just the white grape oolong that's not good here. Anyway, I probably won't be returning to this location. I'm all for Teaspoon because their tea quality far surpasses most other tea places, but not sure whether because they just opened, but the drink from here didn't quite meet my expectations from other Teaspoons. read more

Perfect bubble tea place. Cozy interiors with a nice amount of choice for bubble tea and creamy shaved ice. We visited as family of 4 (two adults and two toddlers), we got the taro special, the royal ice tea(?) and the strawberry shaved ice bowl. (Apologize for not remembering the correct names). This is a the next major hub for boba tea or even their smoothies. I had the Thai tea with boba and it was delicious. The boba was fresh and they even had a dairy free cream for me. Tried the new piña colada and it was perfectly blended. Not too sweet too, which can be something to be cautious of when getting piña coladas at other places. So much tea flavor!!!! I have been to many locations of Teaspoon. I always get the same drink, Jasmine Green milk tea. The quality and taste of the drink new changes no matter which location I went to. This location is new and have a lot space and light than West San Jose or Mountain View locations. The best Taro tea with coconut jelly drink in town. I always get the taro drink. Taro drink had good consistency, the taro "chucks" were soft with true taste of taro, perfect sugar level. We didn't know that we had to order online. We ordered when we were in the parking lot and drinks came out quickly. Will definitely return to try another drink. read more

Convenient location. Parking can sometimes be difficult due to the other restaurants in the strip mall. Drinks are good and boba has a nice texture. Hoping they open for in person ordering soon. The app doesn't list all the options for drink customizations. read more

Stopped by this place a few days ago since it is close by my work. They have a very small menu but since I couldn't make up my mind I had to ask what the most popular drink was. I took the risk and ordered the grasshopper. I'm glad I took the risk. I'm not much of a cucumber fan but the tea and cucumber combo was great. The best boba place around! The almond pudding and lychee jelly topping combo is really good. They usually have a couple sample teas by the register which is a nice way to get to try new drinks. I just wish they had later hours and stores in East Bay. read more

Ah, yes. Finally a good boba place in Santa Clara. This place is the perfect location - it is walking distance, and even though some boba places get crowded, 99% of the time there are customers, but there's not usually a huge crowd. The boba is good, like really good. The best boba in Santa Clara, by far. There are many choices, but their milk tea is the best. (I recommend the house milk tea or the grasshopper milk tea.) You can also add other toppings too, like popping boba and stuff like that. Overall, the experience is great there. The ambiance is amazing. The employees are always nice, I have not heard a story of any rude employees. Great open space. They should open a location on Santa Clara Centre, too. I think that would cool. I visited Teaspoon on a Friday night and I have to say, I was impressed! Despite the crowd, the ambience was funky and fun, which added to the overall experience. The service was fast and efficient, which is always a plus. I ordered the classic Thai tea, which has always been a personal favorite of mine. I must say, it did not disappoint! The tea was made to perfection and had just the right balance of sweetness and spice. The person at the counter was very sweet and suggested some new flavors for us to try. Overall, I had a great experience at Teaspoon and I highly recommend it to anyone who is a tea lover like myself. The classic Thai tea is a must-try, and the service is top-notch.
