Tea is good. It doesn't taste like a powdered drink like Quickly. I haven't tried all the drinks yet. I usually get the taro milk tea and they can modify the amount of the sugar and ice. I'm not sure what else is in the drink or what type of dairy they use if any, but there's something in there that makes me bloat up in comparison to other milk tea places. read more

Yum! Have been here twice and both times the teas were great ! They have a wide menu and selection of different milk tea options with or without caffeine. They also do slushees and other fun snacks like mochi which I need to try, their mochi menu is as large as their tea menu. They also have delicious Pandan Waffles that are so fluffy and taste amazing! My son loves the waffles and the taro milk tea and I like that the milk tea version is caffeine free. I found them on yelp and originally went in to try some of their tea snacks but they don't serve the vegan popcorn chicken anymore ! This is the go-to boba place of my 8 yr old granddaughter and myself. The strawberry juice and mango slushy are our faves.

I went here because my kids really wanted boba drinks. Unfortunately, the drinks were all terrible. The one non-Asian worker made all the drinks. The matcha strawberry drink had like no matcha - it tasted like cold milk. The passion fruit green tea was so bitter and tasted like chemicals. The salted cheese boba had no salted cheese and tasted so bland. The boba pearls were mediocre at best and texture was not good. The service was very slow. I really wanted to like this place as there are very few boba places in east county. But when you are paying over $5 a drink, it should at least taste somewhat good. I remember when they first opened, my husband and I were just in the area because we were picking up cupcakes for our son's classroom for his birthday. This is the best boba spot in our area. My sons get their split cup honeydew smoothie 50% less sugar one with boba & one with whip cream. My husband's usual is caramel milk tea & me and my daughters' love their honeydew milk tea with boba. Their regular cup is like quickly's large. They have this waffle for $2.50 and it's so scrumptious. It taste like buko pandan (coconut), and it has some strings of coconut inside. They also sell mochi ice cream but we've never tried it. They also have a game station for ps4, card games & a board for legos that you can play with. I take my girls and their friends here for a special treat every once in a while. They would rather have this than anything!!! Everything is amazing! When it's particularly hot my husband and I will get the watermelon slushy and add watermelon vodka to it and enjoy that while sitting on the front porch. My particular favorite is the brown sugar milk tea, half sugar. The kids love the Princess teas and we all LOVE the waffle!! I love that I'm not supporting the corporate machine but rather a small business. I am so taken by the culture and cleanliness of this store that I have recommended a client of mine open his own franchise. He will be driving about an hour west to check it out. In search of a study spot, I called ahead to ensure they had free wi-fi, which they said yes to. I came and parked myself on one of the tables and ordered the TeaZen milk tea with boba ($3.99), got the wi-fi password, and got to work. The wi-fi was disappointingly slow, so much to the point where I waited 15 minutes to see if I could get anything done but had to leave as my productivity was plummeting. Wi-fi aside, the bubble tea was good. Boba was sweet and chewy. Good texture. You can choose the level of sweetness and ice of the drink from 0-25-50-75-100%. Price is oookay. $3.99 for most basic drinks. This includes one topping. Additional topping cost 50 cents. Some smoothies can go up to $5.50, ie: avocado smoothie. read more

Came in to catch up with an old time friend. Realizing they have a pandan waffle, I decided to give that a try! My girlfriend got a rose milk tea with less ice and 50% sweetness. Overdid it on holding back on the sweetness which was our fault but I thought the tea favor was there which was really good! The pandan waffle itself was good! Horrible customer service and timing! I ordered 3 drinks and it took 25 min. 2 other orders, we're behind me. One had 6 drinks the other had 4. Their excuse was they only had one "tea" mixed working? Well I have to say that I really love this place. I've been here twice and definitely plan on coming back. I've had Boba Tea before but I'm not an expert and until just a couple of weeks ago I've never been in a dedicated tea shop(well for this type of tea anyway) First off the place is spotlessly clean and as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted. The menu is on the wall and is easy to understand, not like the other place I visited. They have the teas listed and you have some choices to make. Quite a few choices so take your time. First choice-what kind of tea do you want? Tea or milk tea? Secondly, what flavor, I've tried Rose, Passion Fruit and Lychee and they were all delicious. Next choice you will be met with is, do you want oolong, black or green tea? You aren't finished yet! How sweet do you want it to be? I can tell you from experience that 100% is too sweet. I went down to 75% but next time I will try 50. Ok last choice, do you want boba, crystal boba, popping boba, coffee jelly, Lychee jelly and I don't know what else but there's more! That's the tea, they also have smoothies, slushies and coffee drinks. Aaaaannd they have some food! Green waffles! I don't know what's in them and they didn't say but I tasted coconut. Not only did it take 45 minutes to receive our order, but when they messed up on one of the items they refused to remake it. Didn't want boba in my drink. Don't like the flavor, so when I pointed out that I didn't want boba the idiot white girl with red-ish hair just poured it into a new cup with ice. FIRST issue: the boba flavor and syrup still transferred. When I told her that she said it's sugar syrup not boba. Pretty sure the boba flavor is boba flavor regardless. SECOND (and this is a health violation): I saw her peeling the top from the first cup with her nail which kept dipping into the drink repeatedly while she attempted to remove the plastic lid. Disgusting. Threw the boba away outside the store and won't be coming back. I will also be calling the health and food agency on this place tomorrow morning. read more

I had to ask someone to remake my drink on my second visit because it didn't taste the same when I got it the first time, also they gave me the wrong topping.
