Because they may have done some of the work I have 2 stars. We paid for a "tire inspection" and the paperwork says our tires were all "green" rating (all good) but when I called back to question it (just looking at the tires) and they said "oh yeah these actually need to be replaced". We had a slow leak they didn't find it and actually gave us BS tire pressure on the write up. I got home and it was 4 lbs below and our leak is not that fast. They could have easily done their job and upsold us 4 new tires. They upsold us on resurfacing front brakes but don't have ANY measurements on the wear and tear saying "any reputable mechanic will always resurface front only" but the quote was so high that it was a blessing that helped me find my new mechanic. Then they say they will give me $10 credit to use Lyft- big deal but that only covers a fraction of the cost to get home not to mention getting back once the car is fixed and the time off I had to take. However that wasn't the only problem, apparently my parts service advisor, Owen came in clutch and let me know that my transmission was done! He told me that it would have cost me around $8,000! To fix the damn thing! This car would have been a paperweight and I would have sold it for scrap! Long story short, he let me know that it was still covered under warranty for another month and they basically did the swap for free! Thank you warranty!They had an amazing turn around time within basically two weeks to get the job done and they did it in that time. I was thoroughly impressed! So far we will see what happens but it feels like I have a new car again! Awesome job Ford, Owen and too the mechanics! Ya'll seem to really know what you're doing there. I sent a second follow-up--still no reply. I then escalated the issue by emailing the General Sales Manager, Julio. Silence. A full week later, my original salesperson called to apologize, blaming a "system glitch" for management ignoring my messages. I decided to give them another chance and came in for a second test drive. However, when I presented my offer, Julio stepped in and used aggressive, unprofessional language because he didn't like my terms. I immediately walked out. To top it off, I later received an email from the president, Gus. I took the time to write back and explain exactly how poorly I had been treated. True to form, I never received a reply. It is painfully obvious that this management team does not know how to handle informed buyers who stand up for themselves. Take your business to a dealership that actually respects its customers.

Within the week I had to take the car in to the shop for rattling when the AC was on. Turns out something was installed backwards. Within the second week the Apple Car Play started failing. I took it to the dealership, one of the gentleman came out and did a quick troubleshooting (deleted devices and added back). Fast forward to March 2026, Car play has FAILED. I take the vehicle for an oil change and find that the engine is failing, including an engine oil leak, coolant system failing. While trying to establish the validity of the warranty and find a good shop for the repairs the car has shut off in traffic twice, continues to run hot and the breaks are going out already. I have spent $600 on a rental car. I have reached out to San Leandro several times and spoke with Boris. The last of which he offered a discount on the rental which still totaled $600 for how long I will need the rental. I asked explicitly to speak with a Regional Manager about surrendering the vehicle and submitted an online complaint more than three weeks ago and no one is responding. I have also filed a complaint with BBB. And by the list of other complaints I'm not the first person sold a vehicle that they claim has been through a rigorous "certification" and inspection and the ENGINE is failing months later.
