I have to say, being gaslit by the bartender with the white devil (Jim Carrey reference) hair was a new one for me.... Equinsu Ocha hair came over and asked us what we wanted to order. I asked him which he recommended more, enchiladas or tacos Al cabron? As you'll see in the photo, Tacos Al Cabron is a plate with 3 steak or chicken tacos. Color me surprised when he sits down a plate of 2 shrimp tacos. Confused, I asked him if this was the tacos Al cabron because these are shrimp tacos. He said yes, that's correct then promptly left. So I didn't say anything and tried to eat the mediocre tacos that were filled with mushrooms and very little shrimp. I didn't end up finishing because they weren't good. Thought I went crazy for a minute until he brought the check by and it said he put the order in as "Baja shrimp tacos"....so thank you Equinsu Ocha. You are the reason I will not be getting food from your place of work ever again. Listen to your customers, have better customer service than that.

A really nice family Mexican restaurant, and a great choice for a quick meal while shopping. It was a girl trip, with just mom, daughter and grand daughter, and we were just looking for comfort food. The staff were friendly, and always kept an eye on us. The food was great, and you get a lot of it. You really can tell that the meats are grilled up, and then sliced for your order. We had one of the better Pina Coladas with our meal that I have had in a long time. This is a nice place, and I'm glad it's close to my daughter's house. That's a nice option for a take out meal sometime when we are visiting.

The Desert Fire Grill for Two was awesome as was the service and drinks. A massive improvement from our last visit. On both occasions the servers were great.

Yummy hidden gem! I got the pollo a le crema - the sauce was so good, I think they added cotija cheese to it - 10/10! We also got the tour of Mexico, tacos de adobada, and a burrito. All delicious. Drinks are good, too!

A little expensive but burrito was huge and very good. Service was a bit slow, but the food made up for it. I'll be going back for sure.

Friendly service wins my heart every time. - the butternut squash soup was AMAZING!! So creamy, buttery, flavorful, HOT. Perfection! - a good old fashioned! - save room for the dessert beignets!! Warm, melt in your mouth, light and airy. - was excited to see the portobello mushroom burger on the menu- flavorful and a tad messy. - the calamari has an Asian flair. Points for being different and delicious, but the calamari was small and you don't get very much. I liked the slaw. Lots of slaw, little calamari. Cons: The burgers were overcooked but still went down . The bottom bun was very overcooked...a bit too hard for our liking.

Atmosphere: the restaurant is modern, spacious, and well decorated. We sat outside on the patio,…read morewhich was a nice space. They have a little herb garden out there which was really cool! Service: our waiter was helpful and kind - when he was there. It started off great, but as the evening went on he wasn't there when we needed. We waited a fair amount of time for our entrees, drinks we had ordered, and lastly for boxes and our checks. It was a little frustrating, but he was clearly busy and it may not have been his fault. Food: we started with the pork burnt ends. They were cooked wonderfully and tasted great. I would say they were maybe just a tad too sweet, but I still really enjoyed them. My husband got the crossbred corn Mac and cheese. He liked it and thought it had good flavor. I tried it and didn't care for it. I got the Tuscan Penne pasta with Chicken. I didn't love it. It had large whole cooked cherry or grape tomatoes in it and they weren't great and There wasn't a ton of flavor in general. The chicken in it was probably the best part and I added it for $7.50. Our friends got the special which was some shrimp risotto. The risotto was overcooked and was mush and the amount of crispy onions was way more than the amount of risotto in the dish. The shrimp was cooked well though and they enjoyed the flavor. For drinks I started with the Cadillac Margarita. It was far too sweet for me. The next drink I asked them to make me a spicy margarita with just jalapeños and pineapple juice instead of any mix they had. That turned out better than my first margarita. we had a good time with our friends and enjoyed our night out. However, we all kind of said we didn't care to make it back there. None of us were too impressed and for what we paid, it just wasn't worth it.

They are like overly fancy, to the max pickle. I'm not saying it's a pickle, because they are not "pickled", but, but, how do I say it....fresh, crunchy, tasty, with a good "kick". The flavor is abundant. The pepper lingers on your tongue after you finish. Glory! Try it with a beer. I'm telling you. You will be satisfied with this starter. This is all I ate. I'm losing weight. Have to look good for my new lady. BTW- great ambiance. Large hole-in-wall. Dimly lit. People talking. Not loud. Good energy. Lots of different kind of whiskey. Kitchen is wide open for viewing. I like that touch. TV at the bar. Two high chair sections, one at the bar. Lots of seating. Good temperature in the restaurant. I like this place. The biggest issue right away was how long the food took. It felt like we were waiting forever, and by the time it finally came out, it definitely didn't feel worth it. We started with the pretzel, which honestly was nothing like a pretzel. It tasted more like glorified fried dough and didn't have that classic pretzel texture or flavor at all. For drinks, mine was way too strong and just didn't taste good. It wasn't balanced at all and ended up being hard to even enjoy. For my main, I ordered the Cascadia burger medium, but it came out clearly well done and overcooked. On top of that, the egg on it was severely undercooked.. some of the whites were still clear and slimy, which completely ruined it for me. I had also heard good things about the mac and cheese, so I gave it a try, but that was another disappointment. It was bland and runny, and even after adding salt and pepper, it still had no real flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which wasn't terrible, but it was definitely on the dry side. They were also out of fries, so he had to get fruit instead, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, the food took way too long, the quality didn't match the price, and the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
