I'm so glad they opened a great coffee shop near me, and their drinks are delicious and I have so far tried four different drinks. This place is Australian owned. There is some outdoor seating in the shade available, and you should check out the cute vintage shop next door. Everyone so far is very friendly and helpful with their suggestions. Only been here twice and I absolutely love this coffee shop. It's a small location but it's definitely a gem. They have a couple of tables right outside but I wouldn't consider this a hang out spot. Doesn't take away from the appeal of this place. I can't get myself to order anything besides the cafe de olla latte! It's almost a perfect latte. Wonderfully balanced between the syrup, the espresso and the steamed milk. I will eventually order something new but for now, while it is on the menu, may continue to be my go to drink. The baristas are very nice, skilled and just make the experience be so much better. Prices are comparable to any great coffee shop, and worth every cent. Will continue to come here on my drive to the office. Parking may not be great during peak hours but early in the morning is perfect for me. I was there today, and can't wait to go back! Their coffee is excellent, my cappuccino was perfect. A beautiful new cozy coffee shop with a lot of charm. The service is top notch. A very friendly, genuine vibe. They've been roasting and selling their beans since 2018 and this is their first retail coffee shop location. There will be many more to come, they are doing it right. If you say you care about authentic people and small business then this is the place. They're actual people trying to start and run an actual business on their own and they're DOING A GOOD JOB. My girl had something flavored that she loved. I mainly drink black so I'd go with her review of "oh my god nice!" You have a choice in how you spend your money and in LA everything tries to get you to but if you're looking to spend it wisely on coffee Tectonic Coffee is where you should. read more

I eagerly awaited their official opening in mid January 2024 - and was so happy that Tectonic is everything I want in a local coffee shop. The people are amazing (shoutout to Deaton the founder - who takes the time to make meaningful connections with the coffee lovers who visit the shop). The coffee is amazing - the mocha and chai too. Pastries really impressed me. There are a lot of good coffee shops in the area but Tectonic reigns supreme. If you're considering where to grab a coffee, I highly recommend you give Tectonic a shake! The single origins drip was simply amazing and paired perfectly with the buttery Everything Croissant. The interior is on the small side but this place is excellent for a grab and go brew. I tried this spot a few days ago and I absolutely love the special menu and the attention to detail I had the opportunity to have a solid conversation with the owner about the concept and philosophy behind Australian coffee and I really appreciate how it didn't taste or feel just like some other overpriced, acidic, fruity crap like a lot of places.
