I wanted hamburgers for dinner and was tired of the same old fast food options, so I yelped burger joints near me and I am so glad Teddy B's was the first that popped up! The menu is HUGE but we decided to get the regular cheeseburger and the double cheeseburger since it was our first time. Our burgers were DAMN GOOD! Really great food, BUT bad service. Didn't acknowledge me when I walked up to the counter. I placed my order almost an hour before it was actually ready, even though the estimate was 20 mins. My friend placed an order over the phone 10 minutes after I did and her food was ready first. Must need some better organization. read more

For a gas station add on, I felt the food was great. I had myself a Philly cheesesteak and it was pretty great. They have some awesome aguas frescas, and some really other cool items on the menu. Definitely worth the stop. read more

Never had I been so surprise that it was part of a gas station. The combo I had was new a brisket sand sandwich which was very tasty and the fries were crisp . I would recommend this burger joint they also have shaved ice but would recommend Frostbites for that. read more

Solid food with a wide variety of burgers to choose from offering styles not seen any where else. The menu also has extensive raspas and foot long hot dog selections. Seating is limited to a few interior booths and an outdoor seating area. Nothing fancy, but the real star is the food. Generous portions with lots of toppings made Teddy B's a hit with my family. This is an awesome place that you may not notice on your drive down Babcock Rd, but once you discover it you'll keep coming back!!! We ordered the Crunch, Texas, and Mushroom dog. I was very surprised with our order! The hot dogs were pretty big. You could definitely share one- if you don't have a big appetite. I enjoyed the hot dog's rich flavor and the fact they didn't put little toppings. For the price, size, and flavor, I would definitely come back for a hot dog here than lets say, Sonic. It's a walk-up inside a dirty old gas station. I was still hopeful, as some shack places are the best and I prefer to support mom and pop over chain. It was a large standard burger. Nothing to get excited about. Bun looked delicious, but ended up dry. Cheese looked melty, but had no real flavor. Burger patty was big, but not well seasoned. Plenty of killer places to grab a burger these days. This just wasn't it for me. read more

Teddy B's. The Shack. Whatever it's called. This place has probably one of THE best burgers I have tasted in my life. The buns are so deliciously buttery. The meat is something you'd expect to have at a barbeque that you friend who is a BBQ master who decided to whip up something special for you. It has flavor all the way through. Never dry. The fries are absolutely a staple of this place. So damned good w their seasoning. Let's not forget about the other dishes they sell. I want this place to make it big because I believe it has LOTS of potential, but at the same time it's a staple to me that I never want to be overly crowded and become a 'hipster hangout'. I was surprised to find it was located in a gas station. The floors were really gross and it smelled like a bathroom (I think both of those issues fall on the gas station employees). The wait wasn't bad and the prices are good ($8.99 for a bacon cheeseburger combo). Friendly staff. Not a fan of the canned soda (would prefer fountain) but to each their own. Overall, a solid burger (fresh veggies, quality bacon, nice bun). I would be more inclined to return if it wasn't in a dirty gas station. read more

I do not like this place at all ! The employees are very rude . I asked for no mustard on my burger and the cook started giving me attitude saying you get what you get ! Besides that the same employee went and grabbed a beer and put it in his Styrofoam cup. The place is dirty there are no clean tables . Came here to see what the hype is all about. Quite frankly, I don't see what the big deal is. The menu is huge, you can get almost anything. I decided to get a regular burger and fries. Took 27 minutes to get my food, and it wasn't even busy. There were maybe 3 other parties ordering or waiting for food. The food itself is alright. Of course as you wait, your waiting in not the best setting. Tables inside and outside are dirty. I guess for what it is (technically gas station food) its pretty good.
