Worst 18 bucks ever spent. Wasn't as good as it looked. First time ordering here. Yelp has pictures of their "old" menu still up I guess so the combos don't come with drinks anymore. It's separate. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with French fries. Fries were ok burger was dry asf. No ketchup, no sauces, no napkins or utensils added either. I also ordered flaming hot with cheese on the side and there was something in there that I couldn't even figure out what it was. read more

They do a mean burger. Love the patty, the bread, and the fries. No complaints about any of it. If you are keto or gluten-free, they will do a lettuce wrap. The menu has an appealing variety of options for possible toppings. I only tried the cheeseburger, but I can't wait to try everything else. It's bit pricey, but you get why you pay for. I prefer this place more than any fast food chain or local burger restaurant in the area. The burgers come out well done, so if you like any pinkness, you have to ask for it. No indoor seating, but some patio tables are open. They are well-equipped for takeout and have the order ready pretty fast. read more

They were out of nacho chips (usually are out when I gone lately). Though some very minor hiccups, I go back when I want a quick hotdog or burger. Walking in I had some doubts, but I was ready to try a new place. Good conversation with the guy at the register (sorry I forgot your name) about Teddy! We asked Teddy's whereabouts and were informed that he was at home watching cameras! I ordered the Caliente burger and the Southwest Dog. The buns on the burger were nicely grilled with butter, and the taste on the burger was on point. The hotdog was huge!!! This was my second time here and the food is still great! This time I had the bacon cheese burger with an egg. You can tell they form their own patties and it's just the right bread to meat ratio. Fresh ingredients too. My mom got the kids burger and and loved it! She had just gotten out of the hospital and she wanted a burger and she had never been here. The tater tots were crispy and fresh. We also had the corn in a cup and that was good too. The only thing I suggest is you don't want to eat a burger with an egg on it in the car. I had leftovers and ate it the next day. Service has always been stellar and one of the guys knows my partner in crime and refers to him as the "King of Ducks" (referencing a green text about a guy who threw bread at ducks from his balcony onto the heads of kids lol). Best burgers in San Antonio by far. We had a cheeseburger with the works and a bacon cheeseburger with mayo and ketchup only. Their service through the drive thru was quick and friendly--patiently answering all questions we had. Our burgers were prepared perfectly as ordered, unlike our experience with every fast food (and some other restaurants) we've ordered from where they screw up our orders all the time. We've never had that problem at Teddy B's--they craft their burgers with pride, passion and love. Teddy B's burgers are the best--big, juicy, flavorful and fresh--with generous, fresh toppings. COVID-19 DoorDash Delivery: I was in the mood for a hotdog, a chili cheese dog to be exact, and saw a new restaurant on my DoorDash list. They have a pretty good variety of stuff available and overall I was very satisfied with my meal. I think my favorite thing I ordered was the corn in a cup. I'd have liked some chili powder to make it feel more like home but regardless it was still delicious. I also ordered the frito pie, and I wasn't too keen on the nacho cheese. I vastly preferred shredded cheese, but unlike with the chili dog, I didn't see an option to swap cheeses. Which brings me to the chili dog, which was very delicious. The bun was soft and fluffy, and the weenie was actually pretty sizable, not puny or anything. Teddy B's has a pretty eclectic variety of dogs and burgers and an interesting variety of sides. I'd love to try more things on their menu one day. read more

Poor location adjacent to a Chevron gas station, I am not one to seek perfection but this location was challenging in many ways 2. Nasty restrooms shared with the Chevron. While we were there the men's room was inoperable (without a sign) and the one working restroom was filthy and extremely nasty 3. Long wait times for the food (20+ minutes) and if that was not enough my burger came out 10 minutes before the wife's hotdog. 4. An unfriendly worker at the order taking checkout 5. People smoking on the patio Yes, the burger was above average but the overall experience was not appealing. I liked the option of elote corn in a cup instead of fries/tots and the elote was reasonably good. Everything considered I would not return. read more

I've went to teddy b's back when it was "The Shack" I'd gone into hiatus coming here because my exe used to frequent this establishment quite a bit. I found out he's moved to another state so no chance of soap opera cameos! (huzzah) With the name change and the remodel of this location its better than the last incarnation! The food is stick-to-your-bones type of joint but some places are SUPER greesey. Not here! The portions are great and hasn't changed since "the shack" so rest assured ordering from here you will not go hungry. Burgers taste fresh and dogs aren't wimpy in size and toppings. I always get epic food! Personally sub fries for corn in the cup. It's healthy because its a vegetable... Right?.... Right? But most of all I come back not just for the food but the Energy of this place! Everyone is nice here & they remember me! I enjoy the staff has personaltiy & Its refreshing than going to a chain. It had been a while since I had eaten a Teddy B's burger but man it is still delicious. I did a call ahead and then you can run through the drive thru in the back and pick it up. Could not be easier. The burger is so good. I had a double cheeseburger and just all around it was well done. The fries were not as hot as they could have been but I did take longer to go pick it up than I expected so that's on me. Otherwise they compliment the burger well. Instead of fries I chose the cucumber cup side option which was sliced cucumber with chamoy and lemon juice...yummm. Kudos to this small joint. Excellent burgers! Nice juicy thick burgers, cooked to perfection. They had a ton of fresh fruit drinks with a Mexican flair. I can see this as a place to bring the kids for a nice treat. They have some very adventerous food combinations that will be interesting to try. This place is tucked in the back corner of a gas station but had its own entrance and a patio area with tables. The people were very nice and accommodating. They gave off a family vibe. I could def see them expanding into a larger space or adding a food truck. Downside was we were missing a couple items from our order but we were too tired to go back. Their AC wasn't working right which made it miserable for them since it was over 100 outside; however, they weren't complaining and still had smiles on their faces.
