Teddy treats everyone who comes in the door like a best friend and he does not want his friends going away disappointed, so tell him what you want and he will do his best to see you leave happy. I've been a Teddy's customer for 10+ years ever since I first noticed his original location on The Plaza while driving home when working downtown. When that location close to my delight they moved even closer to my house. My wife and I get carryout at least 3-4 times a month. Pizza, hot dogs; pasta dinners; subs, wings are all good.. Don't go in looking for a gourmet pizza with goat cheese, pesto or sun dried tomatoes. However, for what he does Teddy is the best in the neighborhood. Stopped at this place because I saw all the Cleveland Browns stuff in the window and being from just outside Cleveland I thought why not. Boy, what a find. I've searched and searched for a place that could make an Italian sub the way my hometown pizza place back in Plymouth Ohio made theirs (much respect to JJs). This place is the real deal. It was like being in a Brown's museum. The Italian sub was crazy good! The service was fast and friendly. While I waited I got down on some old school Ms. Pacman (only a quarter). If we could give zero stars we would. Ordered lunch for our workplace. Pizza was soggy and the portion was not as described. Never again. Even when we called the owner was extraordinarily rude and interrupted us while trying to work it out. Every person in the office will not ever go to this establishment again. So far, I've tried about half their menu (been a customer since 2011). The reason I haven't made it all the way through... is because every time I try something new, I like it. I then re-order it upon my next call-in. Pizza? I'm 54 and have eaten everywhere. Teddy's is the only place I would say is deserving of a "10." I'm just a poor boy from the soybean fields of North Central Ohio, but one thing that was perfected in the local pizza shop where I'm from was the Italian Sub. I've searched the Carolinas for an Italian Sub that was equal to my village's staple, but never found it. Until I went to Teddy's Pizza! Not only does this guy root for the greatest football team in the world, he also makes kick ass subs and pizzas. This is a carry-out only spot. There is no place to sit inside. The entire place is covered with Brown's décor. So, I assume Teddy is from Ohio, or loves the Brown's (obviously). The pizza is the only thing I've tried and it is ok. The sauce and toppings are good, the crust could be better. It's not bad, but nothing great. CALL ME PETTY BUT DO NOT EAT AT TEDDY'S If you want poor customer service, or your order messed up then take a chance with this place Owner Teddy and manager of Teddy's restaurant has shown himself to me as a business owner who really does not demonstrate good customer service or customer appreciation to his customers. I have ordered from Teddy's three times and all three times there has been an issue with the delivery, food, or the service. And each time I spoke with Teddy he would apologize and say Oh well I am sorry. we are busy. He says it in a very nasty way. He has no patients with his customers. Well this is the impression that he gave me. He has not showed me good customer service whenever he has ever made a mistake. This time I asked for two hot dogs all the way; along with some other food. Well in true Teddy's fashion something was wrong with the order. The slaw wasn't on the hot-dogs. I called and told him. He calmed he would send someone out there and bring me some slaw. After an hour I realized that the delivery guy had not brought the slaw. I called back and he said that the delivery driver would get to me shortly because they were busy. I said just forget it. I wanted until they were "quote on quote" less busy. I told him that every time I ordered from him that there was a problem with my orders. I politely explained to him that he never resolves the issues. And even when I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and was polite with him , he was very smug. He stated man its "just slaw". Well f it is just slaw did he not include it in the price of the hot dog?(just being rational on this point) He told me that I could take business somewhere else. This place is a hidden gem on the northeast side of town. As stated their pizza taste similar to Little Caesars and Chucky Cheese's. They have a Cleveland Special deal where you get two large pizza with two toppings and 20 wings for $20.99. You can't beat that price! We have purchase the bake spaghetti there which was pretty good also. My favorite from Teddy's is their subs! I love both the meatball and Philly cheese steak subs. They are delicious! Their service time is really slow though. Carryout is always 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes is what they say, but I always just do pick up since I'm literally across the street. Even with take out be prepare to not have your order within 20 minutes as promise. I would go about 30-40 minutes after placing an order. If you like little ceaser's pizza then you will like this place. I love the decor Teddy(owner) is a huge Cleveland guy with all the sports teams and even a few arcade games. I placed a to go order and this place was packed!! Took good 30-40 minute wait. The wings are insanely cheap pretty good if you like your wings slightly breaded. Not my go to pizza place but I would definitely go pack simply because I love the way it looks on the inside lol read more

The pizza is very good, however I made a terrible mistake. I actually went to the shop one day to pick my order up, and I was horrified! Well...you would think a pizza shop would smell like food right? The place smelled like cat piss to me. I take it that this man is from Cleveland, dreadful Cleveland. I came from out of town. I stayed 20mins.. from restaurant yet it took an hour and some for delivery. I ordered a philly cheesesteak. You paid an extra $1 for steak but it was a few slices of steakums with a whole lot of cheese. There was no onions or mushrooms that it was too come with. Steakum is not even meat. I only put one star because you can't put 0, My husband and I ordered a one topping pizza with steak, after one hour the pizza shows up and the driver claims he forgot the drink( which is fine because everybody makes mistakes) so he goes back to get the coke, when we open the pizza it is not a one topping steak pizza it is a Philly cheesesteak pizza. When we call to let them know they gave us the wrong pizza the owner Ted yells at my husband saying he ordered wrong that when you order a one topping pizza you have to specify you don't want mushrooms or peppers or onions which I think that by saying one topping that is implied, nevertheless the owner yells at my husband argues with him saying he doesn't know how to order and after that he hangs up saying he doesn't want our business. This is the worst customer service we have ever received, it is the first time any owner of any establishment yells at us. Teddy's was my first delivery since I am new to the area. The delivery man was very courteous and helpful and bought me a drink out of the machine here at the nursing home as they had forgotten to include mine. Mistake corrected and no hassles. Now the food... I tried the Quad Burger and it was insanely good! And even a tad daunting for a big guy like me,but, I managed to polish it off eventually. I look forward to trying their pasta and maybe even a pizza and some wings once football season is back. I can't imagine how anyone could be disappointed by their food, just based on my first impression. read more
