As we walked in we waiters a couple of minutes for the hostess to come to the front and greet us. Upon asking us how big our group is we were seated at our table. Our server took a bit to come and take our drink order after putting our drink order we ordered an appetizer which arrived just a few minutes after. The food was well seasoned and the portions were great. Once we were done with our food the server immediately brought us our check without asking if we wanted a dessert or anything. Which prompted us to just pay and leave even though we wanted to gets dessert. (Maybe they should slow down a bit and not rush people out the door) But overall it was great.

Canyon Creek Burger, absolutely delicious, your taste buds are waiting for this type of experience

Third Visit in Seven Days--And Unfortunately, Our Last for a While!!!! This was our third visit in a week--and sadly, it'll be our last for quite a while. Why? Your manager. From the moment we were seated, the behavior was completely inappropriate. The manager was blatantly flirting with the booth in front of us to the point where it was uncomfortable and embarrassing. That was just the beginning--then came the loud, crude banter and foul language. To top it off, they involved a waitress in the behavior as if she were part of some kind of baiting act. It made us cringe. Look, be an adult and have adult conversations--but you are the manager. We had small children with us. We do not curse in front of them, and we certainly don't expect that kind of behavior to be thrown in our faces while trying to enjoy what's supposed to be a family-friendly restaurant. Even our server looked visibly embarrassed. Was our food good? Yes. Was our server wonderful? Absolutely. But was the experience worthy of a one-star review? 100%. If we wanted a trashy, over-the-top flirtatious environment, we'd have left the kids at home and gone to a seedy bar. Do better.

Ted's Montana Grill doesn't always get the recognition it deserves here in Florida -- especially compared to the buzz it gets back in Montana -- but it absolutely should. We stopped in for lunch today and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We each went for burgers, and they did not disappoint. They were massive, juicy, and flavorful. I had the Swiss and mushroom Burger, my daughter got the Avalon, and my husband had the Smash -- all were delicious in their own way. And the sides? Let's just say the onion rings were hugemungous (and amazing)! The waitress was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. It's the kind of place you want to see busier because they really deserve the business. Don't sleep on Ted's -- if you haven't been yet, go treat yourself!

Mojito---- don't order this. It's terrible

Stopped in for dinner. The salmon was very good the broccoli was undercooked but still tasted good. The cucumbers on the table were salty and not good. The New York strip was very good too. The server was good. It was mildly frustrating when I ordered a $13 dollar mojito and it was disgusting and when I asked the waitress she said it's sent back all the time. Maybe you should tell the customer why it gets sent back before they put that order in. The waitress offered to get me a new drink and then I got charged for both anyway. It was nice inside but the bathroom was dirty. That's always a big letdown.

Ted's Montana Grill is a that specializes in creating excellent meals centered mostly around buffalo/bison meat. When you visit, you can tell that this classic sizable restaurant has been around for a while. The booths, tables, chairs and appearance is just about all made of wood - it can be rough if you have to sit for a long time. You also have an intimidating and stern stare from a mounted buffalo head up on the wall! But if you like your meal, and high chances you will, you won't even think about these things. It's been a while since enjoyed a bison meal. We had a stellar server in Hailey. Her patience and superb level of enthusiasm made the visit here delightful for a special occasion. I thought about getting a bison burger but Hailey helped me choose the bison meatloaf because it was a shop best-seller. The meatloaf was spectacular, modest red sauce on top and came with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli (I requested the broccoli because the carrot dish listed on the menu was buttered - the broccoli came with Parmesan cheese). Others in our group enjoyed various bison burgers. Some were basic of the lettuce, onion, tomato, cheese type. Others had burgers that were more elaborate. I look forward in the future to trying the one with mushrooms and a white cheese on it. Just can't remember what it's called. Overall, I found the atmosphere, which was enhanced by Ted's enthusiastic crew, very special this day. I look forward to returning in the future. The only thing I would say that even though Ted's likes to keep a Western-type look, it should upgrade the restroom. It's small and it's also not good when only one toilet is operational because the urinal is down. I could take a star off, but won't because everything else was amazing! Recommend: HIGH

    Beef burger and kale salad

One of the spots I like to visit when I'm in Jacksonville- have been coming here since college. Menu has a lot of variety but their burgers are amazing. What really surprised me was the kale salad... hands down one of the best I've had. Fresh, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious. The service was just as impressive, friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to for years to come.

I decided to go here again for lunch, because this restaurant is awesome. The food here is always excellent, and so is the service. I decided to order one of their bison cheeseburgers. The cheeseburger was fresh and flavorful. I decided to have Swiss cheese on it. It also comes with baby arugula greens. Those were fresh and flavorful. This was my first time having bison meat and right away I could tell the difference between this and regular ground beef burger. The dish came with fries. Those too were very good. I'll definitely return here soon. FYI: I did use that infamous revolving door.

Upon arrival we were seated almost immediately. The bison need short ribs meal was so delicious and hearty. The meat was tender and falling off the bone . It was busy because of Mother's Day but we didn't have a long wait and it was not overly crowded.

Walked in, seated for work lunch immediately. Had a good server. They have crushed ice for water. My favorite. Ordered the Canyon Burger with the grilled green beans! Perfectly done. Great experience. Will be back.

Last minute week night dinner with a group of 4. Seated right away, booth near the bar. Orders taken promptly and service was good. Orders included; To drink: Blackberry bourbon drink and sodas To eat: Mini Bison Sliders with chips- super good and filling Fish sandwich- flaky and delicious, definitely recommend. Served with a kale salad. Chicken sandwich- ok, nothing special but a basic sandwich. Crabcakes with parm broccoli- good amount of Crabcake but both the crab and the broccoli were a bit under room temp. To be fair, I was hungry and didn't say anything. Lots of food so took half home. Overall a good experience, somewhat pricey for a group of 4 with tip and no apps landing at $150 with tip. We did tip over 20#.

Even though we had a reservation, it didn't seem to make a difference. We waited about 15 minutes just to find a host or hostess to be seated. During that time, we saw several other groups leave because no one was available to greet or seat them. It wasn't the best first impression and definitely set the tone for the visit. Once we were seated, the food was excellent. You can really tell that everything is made from scratch, and the quality and freshness stood out. The Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts, topped with garlic aioli and Parmesan cheese, were delicious and packed with flavor. I also ordered the Kale Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, which was fresh and well-balanced with house greens, Parmesan cheese, and Caesar vinaigrette. My little ones ordered the Crispy Southern Fried Chicken Fingers with fries, and they both really enjoyed their meals. Overall, the food was definitely the highlight of our visit, but the service and lack of organization upon arrival could use improvement. If they can address the front-of-house experience, it would make for a much better visit.

Upon being shown to our booth, the floor by the table we were seated at was extremely slippery. At first I thought it was due to a fresh mopping and they had just forgotten a sign, but it stayed extremely hard to navigate the entire meal. Let's get into the highlights: some of the freshest table side guacamole I've ever had. Made right in front of you and you get a ton for what you pay for. My lunch portion of my Yucatán Quesadilla was only $9.99 as it was a Friday and it was just okay. Unfortunately, I did have to cut it myself. The "small" margarita for $12.99 is absolutely gigantic. In fact, every drink I saw come out was of ginormous proportion and seems to be the main draw here. Unfortunately, I was a bit let down by both the salsa, as even though there was a full bar, none of the options were all that tasty. The biggest detractor was honestly the service. Our server was extremely nice on the surface, but every opportunity was used to upsell by every member of the staff. A bigger drink, another appetizer, another drink, handing us their card and asking for a review following paying. I normally never have issue with this but it became overwhelming at a certain point. This restaurant absolutely feels like it has potential, but might suffocate over its mistakes in an extremely crowded Town Center/Southside Market.

We've gone there for Valentine's Day, birthdays and even with friends and family the night before our wedding. So when Lauren suggested it for tonight, the first thing I said was "but it's not a special occasion" lol. Per usual, we made it a special occasion just because. They change over from the lunch menu to dinner at 5 and we got there a little early, so we took a seat at the bar. Good thing we did because that allowed me to start with their amazing Tiramisu Martini! At 5, we cashed out at the bar and headed to our table where we started with their bread House Bread. We've had the bread so many times before but it's such a great go-to. After that, I ordered one of their specials for tonight which was a twist on their Risotto that included mussels. I'm not very big on tomatoes but I left them in for this because I've been trying to just trust these great chefs in our area and enjoy the dishes the way they intended them. And again, I'm glad I did. I didn't exactly scarf down the tomatoes but they did add something to the overall flavor, so I'm glad I left them in. Lauren had the Hand Cut Fettuccine. She LOVED it. She said it hit every note on the flavor palette. Take a look at the attached photos and you'll see how much she loved it. She said it was sweet, savory, tangy and everything in between. Per usual, we finished up with Midtown Table Ice Craam. I *rarely* use this phrase but if you haven't had it, you're just plain missing out. Take a look at the ingredients list on the menu photo I've included. You'll probably say the say thing I said the first time, which was "h*ll to the no". We literally had to be talking into trying it by a server a while back. I've never been more happy with the result of arm twisting in my life. It's just so, so good. So yeah, we didn't have a special occasion as a reason to go to Midtown Table but I'm so glad my wife reminded me that every day can be a special occasion if you want to. What a fabulous dinner. From the moment we walked in until we left, the staff was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. We started with the Calabrian chili wings. They were crispy, hot, and packed with flavor. My only criticisms are that a few of the wings could have used a little more of the Calabrian glaze, they were disrespectfully small, they were all flats, and surprisingly, the restaurant doesn't serve blue cheese dressing despite offering several dishes featuring blue cheese. For my entrée, I ordered the hand-cut fettuccine with glacier blue cheese cream sauce, Calabrian honey, tomato confit, crispy pancetta, and added steak. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the dish had an incredible balance of sweet and savory flavors. I've ordered this same dish on all three visits because it's that good. Every time I tell myself I'm going to try something different, and every time I end up ordering it again. My wife ordered the vodka pizza, and it was excellent. After trying a slice, I can confidently recommend it. On future visits, we'll probably order the pizza as an appetizer to share. It's delicious, easily shareable, and a much better value than the wings or some of the other starters. We also enjoyed a couple of cocktails, and each one was excellent. The frozen fruit and vegetables embedded in the ice cubes were a creative touch that made the drinks feel even more special. If I had one suggestion, it would be to serve bread with the pasta dishes. It would be the perfect accompaniment to soak up every last bit of those incredible sauces. Overall, Midtown Table continues to impress. The food is consistently excellent, the cocktails are creative, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you're looking for one of the best dining experiences in the area, Midtown Table absolutely deserves a visit

The atmosphere was just right. Dim lighting, easy conversation, and an overall calm vibe made it feel cozy but still social. There was even a group of women there for what looked like a social gathering, which added a nice, lively touch without taking away from the relaxed ambiance. As for the food....excellent. Everything came out just right and paired perfectly with the laid-back mood of the evening. Between the inviting atmosphere, solid happy hour energy, and standout service from Mat and Gracie, this spot delivered. Definitely a great go-to for unwinding after a long day.

Awesome bartenders! Tried the firebird shrimp. Really tasty and a big portion for happy hour. Grabbed a table by the window and started to order. Our sever started off really nice and friendly but then said something about be sent home after her last few tables. She switched to being very impatient and sometimes rude. The manager walked by and asked if we needed anything and since he was here we mentioned we had been waiting a while for our wine. He said he would check on it. The our server showed up and her attitude got worse. I guess she thought we ahd said she was slow when we just said we were waiting on wine and maybe it was at bar. Oh well. The food was pretty good. Stek cooked well, veggies al dente and ad pretty good desert. If it wasn't for that server this might have been a 4 or 5 but that was not a good experience with her.

Plus, it was ordered while I was on a work trip so I couldn't order a martini at lunch. - Old Fashioned Cheese Burger: This was absolutely delicious and loved they will cook to desired temperature. The fries were perfect and overall one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! - Cheesecake (To go): The fresh whipped cream and blueberry compote on the side was phenomenal! I took it to go to enjoy in the hotel room later that evening, and was amazed at how delicious it was. It was so good that when I saw a J. Alexander's in Arizona, I made a visit though they didn't have on the menu. PLEASE add the cheesecake as a regular menu item! This would make J. Alexander's the perfect restaurant for me. As a foodie, this is one of the highest remarks. The restaurants are beautiful inside, and the service at both locations has been friendly. If I could get the perfect burger + cheesecake, then I'm sure I would shout from the rooftops for everyone to visit a J. Alexander's near them!

But I do wish it came with more toppings like lettuce and tomato. We also got the cajun seafood pasta since it looks like that's a popular pick. I really liked the sauce. And they give a good amount of shrimp. But I found myself wanting the pasta to be a little overcooked. But take that with a grain of salt because we ordered takeout. It's probably better if you dine in and eat it right when it's ready.
