This was a special occasion meal for a friend's birthday. Quality The toasted bread with the Burrata was stale, as if it had been prepared a couple of days prior. Minor detail, but an easy fix for the chef. NOTE: One can get similar dishes around town (two Italian restaurants a few blocks away) at the same price points. Service Reasonably priced lunch entrees, a good server who kept drinks refilled, and most dishes came to the table hot from the kitchen. The server had a lot of tables to cover (??) and seemed a bit impatient overall. Price (one star for the beautiful art deco surroundings) Tellers website does have an FAQ link for parking, but that page is blank for a reason. I suggest a ride-share service with your lunch companions, much cheaper and better in and out. Parking If you opt for the valet parking at 120 North Robinson, be prepared to pay through the nose for that service. Typically, courtesy valet service at an upscale restaurant is a reasonable expectation, and a generous tip is expected upon departure. This valet service does not have a sign that states in clear language that you are charged by the hour/minute (not sure which). You are handed a receipt, and generally, who stops to read the fine print on a valet ticket? Concerning: I arrived at 12:50 pm, had lunch, departed at 3 pm, and the valet charged over $19.00 TWICE on my credit card. My lunch companions, all three arrived in their own cars, and were charged almost $25 for the same service. Be prepared for a reasonably priced meal, but a hefty parking fee if you decide to visit Tellers. Lesson learned! The "take-away." When I arrived, it took 30 minutes to order a drink and some food. My food ended up arriving before my drink. Tellers in Downtown Oklahoma City is such a fantastic restaurant! This place specializes in authentic interpretations of regional Italian cuisine with their wood-fired oven and grill. The first impression here is stunning as you ascend the escalator inside the historic and iconic First National Bank building. You're surrounded by towering marble columns and gleaming brass fixtures. It's all such a beautiful feast for the senses. Since I was solo, I took a seat at the bar. I ordered the Short Rib Rigatoni al Forno and it was outstanding. It included a generous amount of tender, richly flavored braised short rib and a few thoughtful daubs of ricotta. Daughter and I returned to Tellers to celebrate her upcoming bday having eaten here the year before for special occasion. Had to have the lobster ravioli since it was so good last time. Was SHOCKED to receive a plate with only THREE raviolis and a couple of pieces of lobster. That is over $10 per ravioli! Absolutely insane to charge people for that. What happened Tellers? Had a plateful last visit. You can even see the pictures of the ravioli plates getting fewer and fewer over the years. SO disappointing. Made a birthday reservation in January and so glad I did. The restaurant is in a beautiful location, all the staff we encountered were friendly and kind, the food and drinks were amazing. The best part was that all my party was willing to let everyone else try their food so we got to try a bunch. My absolute favorite thing was the artichokes, so much so I dreamt about them and had to come back last week! The restaurant was decorated for Valentine's Day and it was a nice treat. The drinks were also quite enjoyable. I had the Sicilian Blood Orange Spritzer. This place is definitely more of a special occasion type place and a little on the pricy side but that's to be expected in a place like this. My wife and I booked the Valentine dinner for last night. We were excited to have a night out at your restaurant. This was a big splurge meal for a special occasion. Let me say, we both, along with others that were waiting on the valet, were so disappointed. There was nothing other than a really pretty building that was impressive, much less even good. My total bill was $400 for flavorless, poorly cooked, over hyped food! You should be ashamed. The starter plates were strange and tasteless. The main courses that we had were just awful and quite honestly hard to eat. My lobster was chewy and rubbery, risotto was equal to a mushy bowl of oatmeal with no taste, and the steak was under cooked, tough and had an enormous tendon through the middle. Even the dinner roll had so much salt it made it impossible to eat. I've never had a salty dinner roll. I will say, the wedge salad was ok. The waiter in our area was a nice young man. We sat along the back wall against the mirrors. The tables were so close you had to squeeze through to get to the chair. We were sitting a foot or two away from other couples on both sides and had the waiters ass in my face as he was taking orders and serving the next table. Needless to say, we were so disappointed and ended up coming home to make a bowl of Raman noodles after spending $400 on a special occasion meal at your establishment. An exceptional Italian place and their pork chop dish is very good. Also their soup (with vegetables and pasta bits, maybe a minstrone) was excellent. Finally I got their cheesecake which had cranberries, cranberry sauce and candied orange bits - incredible dessert. The interior environs are epic and are part of the First National Bank building which has been renovated to be a hotel and residence with shops and restaurants - and also decked out for Christmas and the holidays. My son is a tea connoisseur so I scheduled afternoon tea to celebrate his 17th birthday. WOW were we all impressed! It was a very relaxed service and atmosphere so we were able to enjoy our time and not feel rushed at all. We had four people so we picked two teas to try. Oh my. This the most gorgeous establishment I have seen in a while. Our waitress (Sarah) was friendly, careful with my allergies and knew what she liked and was good. We ordered the meatballs with Polenta for an appetizer. These were perfect tenderness, the marinara was effect and the polenta wasn't too cheesy. They also gave an amazing bread with oil for dipping. My husband ordered a Fillet and grilled Brussels and little golden potatoes came with it. He said every bite was amazing. I ordered the rigatoni. The presentation was amazing. It had a lot of flavor, I'm not a fan of ricotta. There was just too much for my liking. The rest of the dish was good. I would try something different next time. Now for the best part. We ordered a lemon tart and the waitress suggested the raspberry glaze that goes with the cheesecake to go with the tart. She brought a plate with what looked like a mixture of lemon meringue and a tart bottom. We put a little sauce on to try and wow, we had to put the rest on it. Tellers is an upscale beautiful restaurant where you can do afternoon tea with the girls, have a girls night out, or a perfect date night with your significant other. The service is not always best due to it always being busy. They are definitely understaffed so, sometimes it takes about 30-60mins to get your drinks. We came during NYE, and from start to finish it took roughly 3 hours to get all our drinks and meals. The food during NYE was pretty good excluding the actual main course. My food tasted like soap to be honest probably due to the plate being washed not too long before serving the sliced steak onto the plate. It was disappointing to pay $125 per person and not even getting a full steak, and instead just a few slices. The other items in our meal however were delicious. They made several mistakes with our beverages. I even ordered a French 75 and they gave me tequila instead of gin. So, for a higher end restaurant this one makes more mistakes compared to other places I've been to in the OKC metro. Will I come back? Probably, because the decor is amazing for photos. I would say 5 stars for the decor and ambiance, 2 stars for the food, and 3 stars for the service. read more

I went to Tellers at 7 pm on a Wednesday for a Time Left dinner with strangers. I ordered lobster ravioli and it was amazing! I highly recommend it! Tellers is typically a more reserved upscale restaurant and this night was no different. It's not so pricey that it should be reserved for special occasions, but it's a quiet environment that is lovely, and the renovation of the bank into a restaurant was done masterfully. read more

We went for my Dad's birthday! We ordered the chopped salad for the table and it was good but I've had better salads! The short rib rigatoni al forno truly lived up to the hype. Full of flavor! My Dad had the wood-fired chicken which was probably our favorite! This took us by surprise! Also packed with flavor and moist! The rosemary potatoes were good but could use more salt. My Mom & BIL has the Diavolo pizza! They had Mike's hot honey at home but theirs hit harder on the spice level but we do love spice! My sister had the strozzapreti con scampi which had a nice acidity to it and a nice bite on the pasta cooked perfectly! We also had dessert! We had the torta caprese which was not a crowd favorite but I liked the combo of the berries and the deep flavor of the dark cocoa. The pumpkin tiramisu was good but nothing to write home about in our opinion! Reminds us of a chai latte. The cheesecake is where it hit HOME! Beautiful presentation but cranberries were very veeeeery tart We had no problems scraping it away cause the cheesecake itself is to die for!! We asked for more focaccia but they forgot which was sad but also waiters are amazing and super busy so we get it! The place was beautiful and the service was great! We had a baby with us and I let them know ahead of time that we were hoping for a booth knowing there is no guarantee but they were able to accommodate! Annual Christmas gathering at Tellers on Wed evening. The decor was absolutely stunning as usual! Very holiday forward, with many photo op areas. Our server, Angela, was fantastic doing a great job keeping up with the busy evening. Food overall was good, but not exceptional. I had the Brick chicken with mushroom risotto. Chicken was well seasoned, juicy and truly delicious. The mushroom risotto - not so much. While tasty, the mushrooms were rubbery. The risotto itself was blah - made worse by the rice being undercooked. The rice was al dente intead of being a creamy, luxurious consistency. In reality, it was overpriced. The good: The short rib rigatoni was great. Loved the dessert course. The polenta side was good. The not as good: Our bread basket was the 3 tiniest pieces of stale bread known to man. Another table near us got a full basket with a variety of bread. Tell me how this is a "bread basket" The "family salad" was fine, but pretty unremarkable-- just some lettuce, and pickled veg. The portion was small. The chicken Marsala was very tough to cut. The chicken was not tender at all. The Brocollini was one piece of actual brocollini and what looked like some bagged Brocolli florets from the frozen section. The wine was good, but overpriced. Teller's is mid-level high end, with insane inflation on alcohol prices. The service was fine. The ambiance was a little cold-- it was slow because of the holiday. The building is pretty. All in all, I'm curious to try the full menu sometime, but almost $40 for two cheaaaap glasses of wine, and a pretty mediocre meal leaves thinking I'll stick to Pizzeria Gusto or something next time. read more

Went to Tellers twice during the holidays. Both times were confusing. We made reservations on Open Table and both times we did not get what was expected. Details about timing and what to expect did not coincide with what was on their website and Open Table. The staff did not know, which added to the confusion. We were not the only ones confused. It became a topic of conversation with the other tables and people around us. We all read the information provided carefully and were disappointed by what we were told when we got there. The valet greeted me as soon as I walked up and I was seated quickly. Shai was our server and she was prompt as well. We both ordered French 95's. My friend convinced me to try to prosciutto and pear appetizer and it was really good. Could have used more balsamic vinegar. I order the short rib pasta and it was 4.5/5. The noodles seemed large. My husband took me here for our Anniversary and we loved it! The atmosphere was delightful and filled with holiday warmth. Overall the space was beautiful and you get to enjoy all of the holiday decorations while enjoying your meal. Our server was polite, friendly, and prompt and our food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the risotto appetizer which was a great starter! Then we received a small bread basket with an olive oil for dipping the small slices of wood fired soft bread slices. We ordered the steak with roasted potatoes and broccolini and it was steak was so tender and juicy. cooked perfectly. The broccolini was a little bitter with the heavy char. Some lemon would have brightened it up a bit. We also ordered the Shrimp with homemade noodles and I would go back for. Everything was so flavorful and our complementary anniversary dessert was heavenly. It was a gingerbread style cake with ginger snaps and a sauce drizzled over the top but, the icing was a show stopper! Light, creamy, and not too sweet. The perfect way to end a meal. We had our daughter's birthday dinner at Teller's almost blindly. I'd heard about it and seen posts but none of our party of 11 had ever actually been. I'm extremely pleased with whole experience. To begin, our reservation was for 8:00 but some of us arrived early and were seated immediately. We had one server and she provided superior service. She was attentive and pleasant as well as very accommodating. The drinks were classy & appropriately priced. We ordered a bottle of bubbles as well as cocktails. Some even asked if they could create cocktails or add alcohol to non-alcoholic beverages and every request was accommodated. One even asked for "fruity mezcal" cocktail which came back completed and enjoyed. The food was even better than the drinks and service. I think we have 3 lobster raviolis, 3 short rib rigatonis, a chicken, steak and several spaghetti cacio e Pepe's as well as a Margarita pizza starter. Everything was excellent. I cannot express any downside to our experience. I guess the total bill was a tad high and of course gratuity was included. The Saturday night crowd was robust and maybe even a bit loud but it was a clear 5 out of 5 experience. We'll be back... soon! read more

What a special restaurant! If you are looking for an extraordinary atmosphere, look no further than Tellers. Set in the old First National Bank in downtown OKC, you will be dazzled at the sublime transformation of the space into an Italian restaurant. The interior will dazzle the senses. The grand scale of the restaurant is awe-inspiring, and you it will make you want more Art Deco in your life. The service is was great. My waiter was attentive and did a great job making our interaction as friendly and pleasant as possible.. Many things on the menu seemed appealing, but I ultimately went with the Lobster Ravioli. It was a nice twist on a dish I'd ordered at so many other places. The tomato sauce was bright and had a very mellow flavor to it. The lemon ricotta filling lightened the dish even more and the mounds of sweet lobster in the center of the dish were juicy and flavorful. To accompany the meal I got a non-alcoholic cocktail; the Strawberry Lemonade, which was very tart and delicious. For dessert I got the cheesecake which had various berries and whip cream. The Cheesecake was alright. It was good, but nothing about it really stood out. However, I am still giving Teller's 5 stars because the sum of the parts will be worth it. This is the most beautiful place. The young lady waiting on us was so sweet. The food was really good. I had the lobster raviolo. My daughter had been here previously and of course took a picture of her food and it looked amazing. They have definitely cut back on their portions. Her dish of this was triple what was on the plate I received. I didn't eat all day looking forward to this dish. Only 3 ravilolo with very little lobster. Looked nothing like all the reviews I have seen and nothing like the pic on the menu site. It was very good though and they for sure leave you wanting more. You may leave hungry. read more

Moist crust (undercooked). Had to request plates for pizza as only plates were bread plates. Ordered 4 deserts. Had no utensils, requested forks. Was presented with spoons and an exasperated sigh. Deserts were not good. Panna Cota tasted grainy and was runny. Over 200$ for 2 pizzas, 2 ice teas, 2 coffees (had to request as not brought with desert as ordered) 4 dinner salads.
