Don't take your car here for service. Today at 11:00 , I took my car in for scheduled maintenance. Jackie (or Jacelyn), I'm not sure of the spelling of her name, checked me in. She had all the information on her IPad that I had discussed with the Service Department prior to my appointment, i.e., issues I wanted them to look into. She then told me she had everything she needed and that she would hand this off to Carlos. She said to wait in the lounge, that Carlos would take care of everything. Well, Carlos, nor anyone else handled anything. Numerous times, I tried to get someone to update me on their progress. No one ever knew anything. I waited and waited, thinking that Carlos must be taking care of the car. After nearly THREE HOURS of waiting, a man asked if I had been helped. Did not get his name. He seemed to be checking on the car. A different man came into the lounge about 15 minutes later. He was asking all sorts of questions as if he knew absolutely nothing about my car, or even where it was located. He kept asking ME 'What happened here?' I finally got 'Jackie' to at least look into the matter. She had no idea where my car was, what had been done, nor 'What had happened here' either. She was not very apologetic, nor was she offering any resolution to the situation. After I told her that I wanted my car back, she said I could come back tomorrow (NO! she said "You are WELCOME TO COME BACK TOMORROW") Why would I want to come back tomorrow, I asked. To get the work done on your car, she answered. She very sheepishly tried to avoid telling me that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE WITH MY CAR FOR 3 HOURS!! I had already told her that I had to wait for my car to be serviced because I had no way to leave it. She told me I could wait in the lobby. By this point, I was tired of Temecula Hyundai and their lack of care for what they had put me through. If I could give them zero stars, I would. We leased an Ioniq 6 for my wife, and overall, it is been a great car. It is our first lease, so we do not know all the ins and outs of leasing, but we needed new tires, and read that the tires have to be approved by Hyundai. So, against my better judgement, my wife decided to get tires at Hyundai of Temecula, so Hyundai could not say anything about the tires we bought. It was a nightmare. She was overcharged for the tires. They admitted they overcharged her, and refunded the money to my wife. Of course, the refund did not go thru due to some fault on their end, so we ended up getting a roughly $300 check a week later. The tires were put on, and my wife picked up the car. She complained as we were leaving the house that the tires were messed up. I got out and looked, all four tires had grease/soap/tire lube smeared all over them. We have the SE tires, so it was a bad look. She got what looked like at least one used tire. It was not just dusty from sitting around, it was a dirty, used looking tire. To make matters worse, two of the SE wheel/rims had deep gouges in them! So we got used tire(s), greasy wheels, damaged wheels......they agreed to order us new tires, and repair the wheels. They said we could get the car back in two days......two weeks later, my wife is called to come pick up her car. I talked on the phone an hour prior, to Hyundai, and they said they fixed the wheel. The Wheel, I said it was two that were damaged, they said they fixed the wheels. My wife got down to pick the car up, and of course they only fixed one wheel. We got the car back a few days later but it was about two weeks due to their negligence. They lost our business for service and when we get our next car. The managers were worthless! and did not return calls when they said they would.........they should be embarrassed...... read more

They gave me a misleading explanation regarding the financing option. Despite my multiple attempts to verify the details during the purchase process, they consistently assured that my understanding was correct. After 3 payments, however, I found that it in fact did not work as they described. I even cannot reach the sales person with the number he gave me. So, I called the office, (he was not there, and he never called me back), and the finance team confirmed that the initial explanation I was given was indeed incorrect. Very disappointing. It is not a huge amount of money I had to pay more. If they had given an honest explanation from the first place, I could have follow their recommendation. What bothered me is that I had to spend quite a lot of extra time and effort to find out why it does not work as they described, and nobody is taking responsibility to their mistake (intentional or unintentional). read more

Brought my 2015 Tucson car in because of loss of power while driving, smell of gas, loud clanging while on the freeway. Supposedly they checked everything and really couldn't find anything. They did something with the oil and cleaned the spark plugs. Yet again, a few weeks later (not even 150 miles) I lost power again while driving. I immediately went back and they had the car for a week and said they couldn't duplicate it so keep driving and if it happens again, bring it in. Should this be before or after I have an accident due to loss of power. They also claim they checked under the hood, tires, etc. When I picked it up the tire pressure light was on and by the time I drove about a mile I had a flat tire. This place is a sham. read more

Been waiting for a sensor part for months now. When you try to call in to talk to someone nobody picks up and their voicemail is full. I have spoken to a few people about the sensor but always get a "we will call you when the part comes in." This has gone on for more than a couple of times. Was able to get a part taken care of for when it's money out of my pocket but when it comes to getting a part taken care of that is covered on their end it takes a long time. I am writing this review to prevent any more innocent victims from being victimized by Temecula Hyundai. On November 20th, I received a text message from the Hyundai salesman, Leo Bautista, I went over to Hyundai and met with Leo. I asked Leo when the 2026 Palisade Calligraphy would be coming out and when the hybrid would be available. He told me it would be sometime after June. I told him I would be willing to wait since I would save about $4,000 when the new model comes out, but if he made a good offer on the 2025 model, I would be willing to buy it sooner. I was about to leave when Leo asked his boss, who was sitting behind him, for help. He asked if I was ready to buy it right now. I told him that I would be busy today or tomorrow, but I could get it ready quickly depending on the offer. He asked me about next week, and I told him that I would be ready to trade in my Honda Pilot this Saturday and asked him to give me a good offer. He said that he would. I promised to come back at 7:30 on Saturday, November 23rd, and I arrived at the agreed time and date after cleaning the car However, Leo's boss, who I had arranged to meet with, did not show up for work, and they made me sit and wait for almost two hours. While waiting, he offered me a test drive, and I declined, but he brought the car over and offered me a test drive. I didn't know it at the time but later found out that the car I test-drove was a Palisade Calligraphy Black Edition (+$4,000). After a while, Leo brought the offer sheet, and I got upset because the price was much higher than what I had expected. One of the other salesmen, Dean Sarwan, who was looking at me, came over and asked what the problem was. I explained from the beginning, and when I said I didn't have any offer, he pointed to some things on the sheet and said that this and that were unnecessary options. He said he would calculate it again and then took the sheet and came back. The paper he recalculated had about $4,000 removed, and I was so tired of dealing with them that I just signed and decided to buy the car. After purchasing the car, I asked for information to transfer my CA Disabled Veteran License Plate, but no one could answer. Later, the finance person gave me the wrong DMV plate transfer form, which made me waste three hours at the DMV the next day. They came back a week later and said if I came back and filled out the DMV plate transfer form, they would refund me the $722 DMV registration fee. I filled out the form and still haven't received the refund. I then called the salesmen because I had a problem with setting up Blue Link and Android Auto in the car, but they didn't help me at all. I had to figure out the cause on my own for several hours. I had a Hyundai service appointment at 7:30 am on December 2nd and went back to Temecula Hyundai to report the above complaint to customer service. Somehow, I ended up meeting with General Manager Brad Cannon. I confirmed with him that I did not receive any discount other than the military discount of $500 when I purchased the car. They used a scammer's method of showing me the original price with an additional $4,000 and then lowering the price again. Brad Cannon apologized to me for their mistake and promised not to do it again. He gave me his direct contact number, but there was no mention of compensation for the past incident. His employees, who scammed customers, would get a commission since they sold the car. Is that fair? Instead, I will spread the word about this. In particular, I hope that the military and first responders who serve our country do not fall for the $500 temptation like I did. These people do not appreciate your service at all and will only cheat you to get their commissions and fill their wallets. I hope that there will be no other innocent victims because of this article, and I will also be sending this article to Hyundai headquarters in South Korea. read more

The environment, atmosphere and the people that work there alone was already such a huge difference from the other ones. Leo and Dean are so unbelievably kind, personable, charismatic, honest and patient. I truly wouldn't recommend any other place more. My previous experiences had not been good and I was becoming so stressed out from those experiences that my family got to the dealership way before me while I was at work to try and get the first half of looking at cars down. I got there hours later after work to decide on the couple cars my family were able to bring it down to and of course me being decisive, I couldn't make a decision. Other dealers had misdiagnosed the issue as a transmission, when it was actually a fuel modulator. Car runs so good I cry when I drive it. Contacted this dealership while looking to potentially lease a Palisade SUV. I had seen an online advertised lease special for 4th of July and I told them I was looking for their best, clean deal out the gate without the hassle of back and forth negotiating and I could sign and pick up the vehicle today if we made a good deal work. I was contacted by James Crueger, who gave me ridiculous pricing that was so high it was almost offensive. His pricing was $300+ higher per month on a lease than the other dealerships for the same vehicle and MSRP. I told him how he in no way was giving me a "deal" and that he was significantly higher than other Hyundai dealerships I had gotten a quote from - he remained firm and said that's his pricing. I feel bad for anyone who shops here and gets ripped off like i would've if I moved forward with their "deal"/offer.
