5 for stars for our server Tommy. Also, shoutout to Nick who chased us down to deliver our keys that we left behind. 3 stars for the restaurant as a whole. Food was delicious. However, we sat for 18-20 minutes before anyone even said a word to us. We flagged down Tommy, who was working a section on the other side of the restaurant, because he was the only one that paid us any mind. From that point on, he took exceptional care of us. The reason this review does not get 5 stars is because of the dysfunctional management. On our way down in the tram, one of the managers was discussing with co-workers the high improbability that some table was actually waiting for 20 minutes before being attended to - in an accusatory tone as if we or our server had falsely embellished that story. We did not. They did not. We were just ignored. This manager did not know we were standing next to them in the tram, the same way they didn't notice our lack service. This place is really nice. We made reservations for 5:45 and got seated 15 minutes before since we were there early . While waiting for our seats, we were concerned about the low rating found on yelp. However, once we walked into the dining room, we were so impressed with the great view , the warm fireplace and nice decor. We had a long day with the travel, so all of us don't have much of appetite. So we ordered quite light. The server is so nice about it. She brought pumpkin bread and rosemary bread while we are waiting for our food. We got chamomile tea and green tea for warming up in a cold winter day and to our surprise, it came with a little jar of honey and a wedge of lemon . While waiting for our food, we can see the chef cooking in the open kitchen and occasionally stove fire jumping onto the pan. Then our food came and the presentation is impressive. Food tasted quite well as well. The roast mushroom side is so savory that I think they cook it with steak. The tomatoes balances the asparagus and earthy potatoes. Fall salad is also very good with flavorful cheese and crunchy walnuts After the meal, they also give each of us a salted chocolate. The salt is quite refreshing with the chocolate. It is a little pricy, but considering how difficult it is to transport everything, it makes sense. read more

Amazing restaurant and bar at the top of the mountain. The views are unreal especially since the sides of the restaurant are all glass. If you want to sit in the bar you might have to wait a while however the drinks are worth it! I got a chocolate one that was so good. The food however is overpriced - the burger was nothing special and pretty expensive. My advice would be to get drinks up here and then eat off the mountain! read more

Then we realized at the end of this waste of money experience, that they don't care how rude because they include a 20% tip in your bill. So they don't need to display any kind of customer service. I don't recommend this place. Its a tourist trap. I made the reservations for 4 and requested a window table over a month in advance for 6:30 on Mon. July 10 hoping to see a good sunset with out of town guests. We live in Sandia Heights (base of the tram) so taking the tram and eating on top of the mountain is not a novelty for us, but is for our guests. I called to see about adding l person to the res and was told we couldn't do that and have a window table. We didn't add the person. We arrived at 5:30 and announced our presence and planned to wait an hour so that our guests could do the nature trail hike. The front manager tried to encourage us to take the table at 5:30. We agreed, but when we said we'd be happy to and to have a drink he said no..you have to wait for your entire party so we went to the bar and had a couple of very expensive drinks in a very loud environment while we waited. Our guests returned promptly at 6:25 and we were shown not to a window table, but one as far from the window as you could get...I complained...no use...forget it...they'd filled up the window tables with people who didn't have reservations for 6:30 (apparently). We then ordered our overpriced (for the quality) entres,salads, drinks and two desserts (which at the LEAST should have been comped)...one guest ordered a cappucino that didn't come promptly so we got up to pay the bill since the waiter was not around. Overall this place is overpriced, the food is average for fine dinning, even considering that ABQ doesn't have many high quality fine dinning restaurants. They have elaborate requirements and penalties for their customers, but don't provide anything exceptional except location.. DON'T bother, save your money, see the sunset from the deck which has a better view in summer anyhow!!! 10/3 and its bar are a major tourist trap. If you want to eat in the neighb try County Line. I am so sad because my partner were so excited for a romantic fine dining experience, however what we got was anything but. The food is not at the level or quality of a fine dining establishment, and the service was horrendous. The waiter / "Servers assistant" took over 20 minutes to bring water. Water is important at high elevation. The only reason we got our drink order in was because a female waitress who wasn't even our server stopped by to ask if we had been helped. Our male waiter eventually apologized for his issues of attentiveness but did not improve after his apology if anything it just got worse. Then the food .... We ordered oysters for an appetizer. The oysters we got were just pure fishy tasting with salt. There was no layering of flavors. My partner and I have had oysters all over the world and these were hands down the worst oysters I have ever had fine-dining or otherwise. My main was no better. I ordered the Paella. I hadn't eaten all day so I was happy to order something that would be warm and satisfying but the Paella was a huge disappointment. Fishy being the main flavor, chicken was way overcooked, and overall there was nothing special about the "fine-dining" paella. It tasted like something an uncle tried making for the first time and bought bad seafood. So sad that these are their standards. I read through the reviews from months ago and yet they have failed to improve. The reason why I'm so upset is because this was supposed to be a special weekend and I ended up getting sick from the "fine-dining" food. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You pay $25 to get to the place by tram. The lunch menu is super lame and limited. The servers steer you to pick the most expensive items because that's how basic the menu is. We took a seat at the bar in the lounge area and we were asked to present our ID's. We presented our drivers license. Being from New Jersey and turning 21 after COVID (2020), my ID will be verticle until 2027, due to DMV's making 80% of their serves online since 2020. The manager was very abrupt and stated they did not accept verticle ID's. If I had known of this rule prior, I would have made sure to bring an ID that presented more proof of my date of birth. Being from New Jersey, I thought it was absurd because it is very common to have a verticle ID anywhere on the east coast. I tried explaining the situation and she gave us no time and stated that she had never worked at a bar (in New Mexico) that accepts verticle ID's. The way the situation was handled was abrupt and very demeaning. Coming from the east coast, no one had explained to me the deal with having a verticle ID and it was like I should be shamed for even presenting it. This has only been open for a few weeks. It replaces High Finance, and has made some nice improvements. The architecture is well done. The restaurant is divided into a lounge/bar that has views to the east, while the dining room faces west - both with excellent views. The bar is a bit noisy because of the high ceilings and tile floor. The dining room is noisy because of the high ceilings and the open kitchen. I realize the open kitchen idea is the trend. But it appears to explain one shortcoming: SLOW SERVICE. There seem to be plenty of wait staff but the kitchen appears much too small and understaffed for the number of tables in the dining area and bar. The menu is unimaginative but the dishes are well prepared. Our wait staff in the bar and dining room were very pleasant and responsive. The food is very pricey for what you get, especially considering the price of the tram ride to the top. Not a great dessert menu, and my wife and I got charged an extra $2 because we shared a dessert - pretty tacky for a place that is cultivating an upscale image. The view was definitely what it promised to be , the restaurant had large windows and the hostess tried to give us the table close to the window. We got reservations for dinner . They served complimentary sesame rolls and a blue corn bread, delicious!! We got the Goat Cheese Flan which came with a fig Gastrique , which I highly recommend and Cauliflower fennel soup.The soup was the most underwhelming part of the whole experience, the soup could use a little more seasoning, it was pretty bland although the plating was nice . For entree we got the Yukon potato tomato tart and the Red Chile Short rib , they were both very good . The dessert options were nice along with interesting options for desserts cocktails . I found 10 3 to be seriously overpriced with disappointing entrees and for the price the food should have a wow factor. There were a few items I would have considered trying but I just couldn't justify the cost of them and honestly...after being completely disappointed with what we had I am certainly glad we didn't opt to order more expensive items. I'm not likely to return or recommend, this place has a lot of work to do if they want to be able to justify the prices they charge. Beautiful view but abysmal service. 3 tables surrounding us, who arrived much after we were seated, received their meals, ate, and were GONE before our meals even arrived. Our perky waitress eventually noticed us and never indicated that she was even remotely aware that we had been overlooked. (I thought perhaps that we had neglected to deactivate our cloaking devices, but we indeed had and were therefore NOT invisible). Another disappointment was the selection of head-banger death metal music blaring over the audio system that someone apparently thought was appropriate to the surroundings. My friend and I visited Albuquerque for a day and rode up the tram in order to see the city. To our surprise, we found one of the coolest restaurants at the top called Ten 3. Jennifer, the best bartender ever, and Rebeka, our waitress, were both so amazing! They were so sweet and accommodating and I've never had a better margarita (or 4) in my life! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I have never written a bad review in my life but this is the most horrible service I've ever gotten! NEVER in my life have my family and I been treated like such trash by a restaurant. We were two families with three little kids two of which were really little. When we were seated we were told that we had to sit at two different adjacent tables but that there was no way that we would be allowed to sit together because their policy seats up to 8 people and we were 9. However they said, because we had come in as 9 people, despite not being allowed to sit next to each other at a single table, they would definitely be forcing us to pay the automatic 20% gratuity fee that comes with parties of 6+ people. (Mind you a 20% fee when the prices are completely over the top already). When we told them it was unreasonable for them to force us to pay when they wouldn't allow us to sit together by combining the tables, the manager actually came out to YELL at us and talk to us in a tone I could not even imagine was happening in real life and kicked us out because we asked to either sit together or sit apart but then not be treated as a group for the gratuity. The waitress was very nice but you could see the fear in her eyes when she said she needed to ask her manager. Given the way they treated us, I cannot imagine how they treat their staff. Likewise, don't dilly dally with your order or it'll be a spell before your food arrives. Many were waiting for tables at 1130/1145a. I ordered the Brussels with bacon post-hike. Delicious. But a little small as it is a starter plate. If you're hungry, though, best to order a few small plates or the burger and the brisket dishes are huge! That's what my dining companions as well as two others had salads which were, well, pretty but nothing spectacular. This place has its bread game dialed. What a beautiful time we had up at the restaurant at the tram. The scenery is as always breathtaking and the restaurant did not disappoint. This review is for the dinner, service and ambiance. The setting was beautiful. It was a long wait but it was very nice to back up here again. Dinner tasted amazing. I love that an amuse was included from the chef. The service was great- frequent checks for drinks/bread/water. The only thing why it didn't get the 5th star for me was we've already spent $$ on getting up there and the menu is quite small and steep $$$ and wouldn't even throw in a complimentary dessert as we are celebrating a birthday. On another note I understand that free dessert is not always the case and we are happy to pay that but the meal for myself which is standard 1 drink/cocktail, salad, entree, dessert was already 100$ including tax and tip and additional 25$ for the tram maybe next time a discount will soften the blow? Rest assured it was still a fantastic dinner. Will I go up the tram again and spend over 100$ to myself, in Albuquerque, definitely maybe. There may be other restaurants that will give you a great dinning experience but this one was an overall experience from the bottom to the top! read more

After sending back food twice due to hair and bugs in our food and being charged for both meals, we spoke to the manager. She was very unpleasant and did not return to confirm the situation was resolved: she grabbed the ticket, took the items off, then made our server take care of everything else. She did not return to us to make sure all was well and seemed like she was very unhappy to deal with customers. It made us feel like we were unimportant or wrong somehow... but nothing can deny that the bugs in our food weren't gnats (which she tried to explain as if gnats in the food is okay) and that hair in freshly delivered food is okay. I arrive with a crop top and backpack I have a lifetime of wearing cheap , scandalous clothing and it finally caught up with me. The hostess approached me and let me know I could not be seated on the fancy side due to my attire. She was apologetic and promised me a table in what I now considered the "kid" side. Over all I prob saved a ton not paying for the high prices in the fancy area , but I did wanna see the sunset did I mention my mom has told me to throw out the sweater I was wearing. Owell. We were a little disappointed to find that the "casual dining" offered at the top of the tram ride had a 45 minute wait and nowhere inside the restaurant to wait in 30 degree temps but we made it through and sat down to eat. Waiter looked perplexed and asked if he should make it again... well the restaurant closed 10 minutes ago and we'd sure like to get home so no. I'm literally eating packaged peanut butter crackers from my backpack because I'm starving when the waiter brings over the bill. "Are you going to adjust this since I couldn't eat my dinner?" Deer in headlights look, as if it never occurred to him we might be unhappy. We sit and sit and finally a manager comes over and says they can't refund the dinner because "someone ate it". Excuse me?? My husband had ONE bite so it wouldn't seem like a total loss. You just wasted TWO plates of food. "My hands are tied" says the manager. Wow. Just wow. No refund? No dessert? No $10 off? Ten 3 was a delightful experience. We had planned on going to Sandiago's, but the offer of Ten 3 was too good to pass up. It was very nice compared to the old 90s, wood- panelled, cafeteria hot-chocolate style restaurant. We were seated by the window, but unfortunately there weren't any blinds to block the sunshine from coming in. Our waiter was friendly and several other servers stopped by to check on us at the end and ask for any boxes we might need. Now, I'm getting ahead of myself. I got the green chile mac & cheese (per our server's recommendation- a huge serving topped with a heaping of bacon and tomatoes). My friends got the smoked brisket sandwich (a messy but tasty looking concoction), the grassfed smash burger topped with green chile, and the grilled chicken breast sandwich with focaccia and goat cheese (what would've been my second choice).
