Loved the servers, the environment, and options on the menu. All of it is really cute BUT i've been to the city where this dish originated and i will say this place is not authentic...at all. The noodles were good but the soup was flavorless, it didnt seem like they slowcooked the pork bone broth for that long, i was adding lots of salt to my soup to add some additional flavor. the beef tendon appetizer is very worth it. The flavor was good and we got A LOT of beef. I will probably not be back but a nice restaurant to try out if you've never had ten second noodles before

A wonderful experience was had! This place was welcoming and very homestyle. It's a small establishment but suitable for a large group (family style). While this is more of a noodle soup spot the menu has plenty of items if you don't want soup. Unlike other spots the bowl comes out steaming but after a few seconds the food gets cold. My food was hot the entire time! The popcorn chicken could have been an entree versus an appetizer. The service was prompt and sufficient. The spice levels are a little off. I got medium and just smelling the broth made me cough and my eye watered a bit. Pricing is average for the area but over all the food was worth it. The beef was tender and the broth was flavorful. My only issue was the drink options were minimal but the water carafe at the table did the job.

Ten Seconds Noodle House is an easy spot to miss located in a small strip of shops right on Research Boulevard. It's probably a spot you've driven by a hundred times and somehow never seen, but we're very glad we stopped by because the food was great. Since it's in a strip of shops and close to a Plucker's, it can be hard to find decent parking, especially on a Friday night so be prepared. Once you step in, the restaurant looks nice and clean, much more modern than a lot of other noodle houses you'll see in Austin. We were able to be seated for 6 immediately and the place did fill up quickly so we may have gotten a bit lucky. The food was also very good. We ordered the pork xiao long bao, tonkatsu ramen, and copper pot rice noodle soup with szechuan mala base and stewed beef. The soup dumplings were okay, the dough was a bit too doughy and the filling was alright. The more standout dishes were the ramen and copper pot. The ramen was delicious with a nice deep broth and good chashu. Likewise, the copper pot had a rich flavor, especially the mala base. In both dishes the noodles were also cooked to perfection. We really loved the copper pot and would come back for that alone! The rest of our group also liked their food a lot which is always a plus to see. We very much enjoyed our dinner at Ten Seconds Noodle House. It's an excellent noodle option in North Austin combining good quality and value. It's the perfect spot for a casual date night or group dinner and we think you'll love it so come give it a try!

I finally got around to trying this place on Sunday during lunch. Everything came out super fast and the staff was extremely helpful in helping us choose what to get. There wasn't a lot of people but they still had full tables and that seemed to be the case for everyone. I did the build your own hot pot type and it was so good! Staff asked if I needed any help explained everything and really enjoyed my meal.

So cute!! I was in this area for work and decided to have a solo lunch after seeing some one on Facebook mention this spot recently. I was very pleasantly surprised with the interior decor and portion/cost. Very clean and well light for the type of meal. The menu is large and so many dishes intrigued me but since I was solo.. I could only go with one. I ordered the cross the bridge with a tomato base soup. I'm usually an adventurous person but played it safe with this one. Pretty safe for a first timer, btw. Some of the items included were not for me but that beauty is, you can just leave out the items you don't want. I didn't have any instruction on what to do here but going purely off my own brain processing, I put everything in immediately except for the noodles. The soup stays warm but it does not constantly stay cooking btw! 5 pieces of beef was enough for me but you can always get an extra order. The noodles were sooooo bouncy and soft. Might want to be careful with your clothing cause this soup broth is staining. lol.. This was so good. Hit the spot for this pseudo autumn AM weather. I expect to be back relatively soon to try the dry pot with mala :)

4.5 Stars Authentic Chinese cuisine (they also have ramen) in a clean casual spot with phenomenal, filling portions at good prices. We tried the - Sesame Balls ($6.99) - always great. They could have had a bit more red bean paste inside. Simmered Chicken in Chili Oil ($9.99) - So yummy, and so much chicken. Loved the crunchy peanuts too. Beef in MalaTang Copper Pot ($16.99) - broth was the perfect level of tingly spice. Located in a plaza. We came for lunch and left stuffed. Polite staff.

Ten seconds immediately conjures zen...slate wall with a very powerful message with the history of "Crossing the Bridge Noodles " story. No spoiler alert...you have to come into the restaurant to read the story. I am not sure how they did it...it is scorching hot outside and some cool not cold inside...the absolute perfect temperature. Ten Seconds has an ordering kiosk where you can self-order or place your with the wait staff. We ordered the Shrimp tempura and fried pork dumplings. The Shrimp Tempura was 6 out 5. Definitely coming back for that one. Fried pork dumplings were good not great. Next time we will have to try a hot pot. No time today...

I love ten seconds! Whenever I'm craving some comfort, healthy soup I always get their chicken broth noodle. It's so delicious! We eat in but we akso order delivery and I love how they package the soups, it's very well done. The service is great when we eat in and the restaurant itself is nice.

Noodles here are top notch! Came on a Friday evening and was seated immediately. Service and food comes out quick. Although they forgot about our kimchi soup the first time. The dry noodle with beef is excellent. Noodles are fresh and the peanuts add a nice crunch. I heard the spicy is really spicy so I got non-spicy with spice on the side. Shrimp tempura is very crispy and the seaweed salad is large and great too. Kimchi soup was my favorite because you can add all the fixings yourself. Over solid noodles!

Copper pot noodles - Mala broth with fish filet

We had an early dinner (5pm) on a Tuesday evening and we were able to be seated immediately! The menu was a little confusing. But the make your own noodles come with 5 slices of beef and you get to pick your own broth. The toppings all come out on a tray and you're able to put the ingredients in yourself. You can then order additional meats as toppings for an additional price. And this is where the name of ten seconds noodle house comes from, because the broth comes out bubbling and you only need to cook your noodles for 10 seconds! The copper pot noodles, you can also pick your own broth, but then you can also pick what type of meat you want. (And it comes with more meat.) All of the ingredients and toppings are also constructed in the kitchen with the chef, so you only get the final product. I got the copper pot rice noodles, with fish filet and mala broth. I was kind of afraid it would be too spicy, especially because I was gonna play pickleball after dinner. But that wasn't the case at all! I still ordered it because I had been craving some mala tang, and I was able to get through my whole meal and play pickleball just fine. The broth wasn't too salty or anything, and it came with a lot of tender fish. It hit the spot and I was so fill afterwards. I didn't even finish all of my noodles! I also tried some of my friends pork bone broth and it was also delicious! The pork flavor was super strong without being too salty or heavy. I wasn't the biggest fan of the noodles, but that's just a personal preference. It kind of just reminded me of spaghetti. I kinda wish they had customisable noodle options, but i know that kind of defeats the purpose of the whole 10 seconds concept. Anyways, the rest of the menu looked pretty good too, so I would definitely wanna try some of the appetizers next time!

Crossing the Bridge Noodles with Pickled Pepper Tomato Soup

Excited to finally try this Austin location after enjoying the Katy location one! Went for a Wednesday lunch at 11:45am and it filled up quickly once it hit noon. Food comes out quickly and hot so it was especially nice on a cool day. The spicy tofu was more of a fish tofu texture and not what I was expecting. A bit on the salty spicy side and would be great with plain rice, but a bit much as a standalone appetizer. Filling portions. Entree itself was great with the very hot bowl of steaming soup and noodles + toppings on the side you add in yourself to cook as you like. I got the pickled pepper tomato soup that wasn't that spicy considering it has 2 peppers indicated. Not sure if there was much tomato either. Service at the table was also nice and helpful. There's a cash register counter, but stuff had iPad and we just paid at the table. Overall atmosphere felt like it was going for a small traditional feel with the wooden furniture and full length mural on the story of the Crossing the Bridge Noodles. More of a 4.5/5.0. A solid place for a quick large bowl of hot noodles. Glad to have this option in town.

Exceptional experience here. Food was served incredibly quick on a late Saturday afternoon. The dry noodle bowl was quite filling although I wish I went no spice. The server was great and the vibe and interior in here was all on point. Well worth the $$ here!

I'm definitely an outlier opinion because I didn't love Ten Seconds that much. There's another location in Houston that I've been to years ago, and I also remember it being just okay. I appreciate that Austin has some new Chinese options. Staff is super friendly, and they were even giving out nice mugs as a Chinese New Year celebration. My friend and I got the chicken appetizer and the condensed milk and fried buns combo. I'm a huge fan of condensed milk and fried buns, and it's typically a menu item only seen at hot pot places. It really hit the spot, and the buns were fried perfectly. I also enjoyed the cold chicken app. It was pretty spicy, and the peanuts were a great addition. I don't love the entrees or the rice noodles. That's just a personal preference because I prefer chewier noodles rather than super silky noodles. I also agree with another reviewer's thoughts that the broth is quite boring. It doesn't really make me want to keep eating it, and the toppings included are just okay as well. It's a pretty one-dimensional entree, so I only ate a few bites before I felt like I was full.

I ordered hot and sour pork soup. I had never had hot and sour soup with meat. Portions were generous, ingredients fresh, and the food arrived smoking hot. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the restaurant was completely full and customers were continuing to flow in. Even at 4:30 pm, the place got pretty slammed. We're a house divided on this place; one of us thinks it was really good, while the other one thought it was only OK. The food comes out fast, alarmingly fast. The fried green beans are always a must for us, and these were good, but not superior to any of the other ones that you can find around town. The bok choy was also typical, and the famed mapo tofu--while wonderfully spicy--was really greasy. We both loved the cumin lamb, our favorite dish. What sets it apart here is that the meat is more "wet", and again, the spice factor was just right. We now have to mention the dumplings. Our kiddo ordered some pork pot stickers, and a woman came out to put the plate in front of her; our daughter then proceeded to move the sauce off the plate and was about to dig in when the woman came back, put the sauce back on the plate and then delivered it to another table!!!!!!!!!! How many food safety laws were violated in that moment is beyond us!! The potstickers were disgusting btw...frozen and overfried and terrible. Overall, the restaurant might have been 3.5 stars, mayyyyyyybe 4, but after the whole Dumpling Situation, we're settling on 3. Doubtful whether we will be back though.
