If I were the manager, I would separate one section of smaller tables and booths for 2 and 4 vice using the banquet 8 tops, wasting resources and making customers feel awkward. read more

This is a restaurant I've been looking forward to go to. It does have a lot of choices for takeout inside however, it's a fabulous dim sum restaurant, so take a seat. For the first time I actually tried chicken feet. OMG they are fabulous. The ladies there were extremely quick. Don't be surprised if you're gonna sit at a table for six even though you're just one person. For one person I took three containers of dim sum. Recently stopped by Ten Ten Seafood & Grill over the weekend for a dim sum lunch and I thought that it was just "alright".... This restaurant is located on West Colonial inside of a strip mall, with tons of easily accessible parking within its private parking lot. Upon entering, you're automatically greeted by the very bright gold decor. Definitely a very traditional Chinese restaurant vibe. This restaurant also has the traditional dim sum carts being pushed around during lunch time as well! Now as for the options... it didn't seem like they had a lot of readily available items...as the same 2 carts were circling the restaurant during our visit. We did get a few items for the table. Everything had a good taste, but nothing really stood out. I will say out of all the items my favorites were the salted egg bun and the beef chow fun dish we ordered off the menu. The salted egg bun came piping hot and had good flavor... and the beef chow fun was savory and delicious! Overall, I thought my experience at this restaurant was ok. The service was just ok as well. If you like authentic Chinese food, Ten Ten won't disappoint. We've been there twice. Once we got the lobster special ($24) and the home made beef noodles. Both incredible! Second time we had chicken, vegetable lo mein and garlic eggplant. Honestly, it's like being back in China! The decor is traditional Chinese restaurant, big round tables with a lazy susan, and the service is pretty good. Ten Ten is next to Taiwanese grocery store. Today is mother day and the run two lobster under twenty dollars. It is really a good deal. We were lucky to have the dish. The offer do run out while we were there. We got two scallion lobster with a lot of meat. Love the lobster. We also got six dim sum dishes. We have the fried shrimp ball, stuff bell peppers, shrimp dumplings, shrimp rice paste roll, pork rib in black bean sauce, and chive dumplings. Food is good and big in size. Love it. Service is ok. Another table said they waited 45 minutes, and by the time carts came, there was barely anything left. Nice atmosphere, but the poor service ruins it. Did dim sum with family on a Sunday. My dad wanted to do the lobster. We ordered a few other items. The lobster was 2 for 19.99. They were tiny lobsters. The way they chopped the lobster was so messy where you could barely eat the lobster meat. Meat and shell were mixed together because of poor chopping and very difficult to eat. I had to spit out shells and meat together. There were also empty shells served. The AC was broken that day. Uncomfortable dining experience. Wow. Why haven't I been to this place in the four years I've been in Orlando? Original plan was for dim sum but once you get in front of the menu it's tough to ignore all the other delicious things on offer. From the dim sum menu - highly recommend the eggplant with shrimp, fried tofu with shrimp and sesame balls with red bean paste. I usually skip the sesame balls because I'm not the biggest red bean fan but these were so fresh they probably beat out ones I used to get in NY Chinatown back in the day. From the "regular" menu, the mapo tofu has that delightful kick (god bless that Szechuan tingly pepper). Ask for a bowl of rice to sop up the sauce. But the star of the day was the sweet pork chops. I expect there's some flash frying happening with the pork and then the sauce... omg. So good. I'd suggest ordering it with sauce on the side in case you end up with leftovers. Taking it home with sauce on the side will make sure you can keep the pork crispy for round two. I can't wait to go back for more dim sum with a side of sweet pork chops! read more

I shop next door at New Golden Sparkling all the time. I have noticed Ten Ten with the thought that I should give it a try. Well today I met me cousin there and we enjoyed amazing dim sum. What have I been thinking by not eating hear before. The shrimp dumplings were huge and reminded me of lightly battered shrimp toast. The shumai was also huge and so so tasty. The soup dumplings were a reasonable size and when you bit into them that porky broth goodness was amazing. I'm done talking about this, I'm going again. Greatest Chinese restaurant in south Florida really felt like I was back in china town NY.

Went here with the family this weekend. I was excited to go because we love dim sum and we usually go to a spot in the East side and never have gone to this one. This restaurant is located in the Golden Sparkling plaza and is very big. It's set up like the big dim sum dining halls I remember in NY. It's kind of dated and they have the carts with the dirty dishes and stuff all piled up in the open which wasn't very sightly. The menu is vast and they had several dim sum carts with offerings along with others in the menu that you could order. I have to say, everything we orders was delicious. I have had my fair share of dim sum and the taste and freshness rival any top tier dim sum spot. The lack come from the very poor service. I have verlook a lot, especially when it comes to small businesses but this was a bit much. First we had 3 different servers.. or I think they were servers. They took orders and then didn't come back with stuff. My husband ordered a beer and never got it, even after a reminder. My mom ordered lo mein, never got it. I ordered 2 sets of dim sum dumplings and never got them. After reminding them, they said they were working in it and took 29 min more before coming out with them (50 total min). I'm pretty sure they ran back there and just made them when I reminded them. And there was maybe 2 other table that had people. Not busy at all. It seemed like they were confused and there was a lack of communication between the 3 servers. May have been a bit of a language barrier as well. To add insult to injury they gave me a coupon that expires next week. At least give me a month please. I guess it was a nice gesture but I was frustrated at the end of my meal. I took the dim sum that hey finally came out with home with me. When I ate it that night, I thought dang.. this is so good.. even reheated! My mom and I saw a video on TikTok of this place and wanted to try it. We've been looking for a dim sum place to eat at in Orlando that pushed carts but all the places had the same amount of stars and we were intrigued with the salted egg bun in the video so we wanted to give this a place a try. We did get there at open so it took some time for the food to come out in carts since they were still cooking all the dim sum food. We got 2 orders of shumai since it's normally my favorite but this shumai had no flavor at all you're just chewing on bland meat. The pan fried shrimp and chives are my moms favorite normally and we got 1 order of it but it was disappointing, it tasted like it was leftovers that they just refried because it was so oily and mushy not crispy. We also ate eggplant with shrimp, fried shrimp ball, and bean curd rolls all lacked flavor as well. The only thing was okay to eat was the $24 lobster special, we had it cooked in ginger sauce because if you wanted it deep fried with salt and pepper it was an extra $5. Just be careful eating it because there was a lot of small tiny shell pieces and you don't get a lot. The other table that had also ordered the special before us had a lot of lobster but ours didn't. The place looks nice for the banquet hall feeling and the large screen playing Chinese music other than that I wouldn't recommend the food. We spent $90 including tips but keep in mind we didn't get more food because the amount of oil that was coating our throats wasn't pleasant so we stopped eating really quickly after a few bites. read more

We came here for dim sum on a Saturday morning since we were visiting my grandparents who wanted to go for Chinese New Year. The good: plentiful food on the carts with many of the staples that tasted great! The ordered lobster special, beef chow fun were also very tasty. The bad: very.... Greasy? floor, sticky/oily tables, questionable cleanliness of everything in general. They do have a pack of baby wipes on each table which my toddler was thrilled by. Typical minimal service of most Chinese restaurants. Skip the soup dumplings as well. They do have high chairs, I did not want to put baby's car seat carrier on the floor. First time at Ten Ten (August 2024) - possibly understaffed on a Sunday morning and they were packed. The pace of carts going around wasn't great as we finished all our first round of food before even seeing another cart which usually doesn't happen at dim sum. Shumai was good and juicy, har gow, good. Chicken feet also good although one order only had 3 which my mom pointed out seemed little but they were decent sized so it wasn't that weird to me? Spare ribs were good. We got their soup dumplings and they were pretty dry - possibly overcooked? We also got the calamari/squid which I wouldn't compare to salt and pepper squid I normally get at Tasty Wok/Peter's or another dim sum place. It was more like tempura almost. Decent priced (under $150 for a table of 7) but again, we slowed down our eating due to the pace of carts coming by. Probably got full sooner than we would have normally. Ten Ten is a ten! Or in this case, 5 stars. I visited once for the first time in November 2021 and the experience was fantastic. Everything we tasted was fresh and delicious. My favorites were the pork with preserved vegetable, the black pepper beef tenderloin, the tofu dish, the crab meat & fish maw soup, the house special pan fried noodle, the lobster with ginger & scallion, the seafood twin delight, and of course, I can't say no to those huge fresh oysters (off menu). It really is the ultimate Chinese feast worthy of any celebration. When I visited, the head chef was a chef from Atlanta's renowned Royal China and opened the location in Miami (which is still open as well). I heard he has since left... and based on recent reviews, it sounds like it may have gone downhill since my last visit but I hope to god not! read more

So I heard of this place for Dim Sun eats. Decided to go and checked them out. The place is by enson shopping plaza but on the far right side where the known Pho place is located. The restaurant was empty but it is a huge restaurant with many lazy susan tables and chandeliers. So they have this price change policy that during dim sum hours unsure what time that is - the dim sum price changes from $4 ish to $6 ish so around 4-5 pm the price is $2 more per dim sum. they have a huge menu for dim sum. its kind of overwhelming. Decided to order from the food menu instead with Walnut Shrimp which was $20 ish and Yang Chou Fried rice which was $15 ish. They offer salted peanuts while you wait for your food to arrive. So the Walnut Shrimp arrived and it taste like it was not a fried battered. It was kind of just wet shrimp coated in the sauce. I am not ordering that no more. The Yang Chou Fried Rice - It was delicious but it had little shrimp and not much other proteins and also the seasonings was a hot or miss with saltiness etc. The portions here are large so you do get more for your money. Service here was nice but the price changing threw me off. I heard many bad stories about dim sum service so I am not sure f I would try the dim sum service. read more

Solid experience visiting this place. The interior decor may be a bit over the top, but the food is solid. Compared to a lot of other dim sum places, they have some more varied and unique dim sum choices. For instance, I tried their Abalone Topped Siu Mai and their Multi-colored Har Gow. Both were solid choices that came out hot and were of solid quality. While service can be a bit hit or miss at times, such as the inability to get the attention of servers or to get the attention of the people pushing the dim sum carts, overall this is still a solid restaurant serving dim sum that I won't mind coming back to :) read more

They have the usually carts the ladies push around and try to tell you items you need to try. To me dim sum taste the same about anywhere and this place was the same as most places. Update 1/31/22 Look, the food is good and all but the service needs work. I get it, it's a Asian restaurant and service is Not going to be like The Ritz Carlton. Didn't have to wait for a table because we just seated ourselves after standing near the entrance for 5 mins like 2 dumb***es. There's a line today to wait for the butcher for fresh roast duck and roast pork but apparently I had to personally wait in the long line (that didn't move at all after standing there for 15 mins) for the fresh items but OTHER people that were eating at the tables could personally order their items from their tables and didn't have to wait in line like the rest of us. I'm not sure how much they bribed the servers with money or if they're friends/family but it's not fair and unacceptable. Like I said - the food is Good. It truly is but the service sucks a**. Also, when you're done eating, you're better off just walking to where the "bar" is to pay because you'll be sitting there for awhile waiting for the server to come. read more

The plaza has various other Asian food offerings such as boba, hot pot, and a grocer. Walking in reminded me of a hotel wedding reception from the 90's. Lots of tightly packed golden tables with lazy susans and some Trippin' chandeliers. I've gone during dinner service and came for dim sum on the weekend for lunch. The food was excellent during dinner. The roast duck, beef chow fun, and snow tip peas in garlic sauce were group favorites. We did order some items from the dim sum menu, but there were a lot of the choices that they said they did not have available. Also they charge $1 extra per dish since there were no carts. What we did order was good I forgot what they're called, but the tofu skin with beef inside and the fried shrimp with the "nest" coating on the outside was good. The dim sum experience during lunch was a bit of a scatter. There are not enough carts going around and the food runs out quickly. There doesn't seem to be a lot of selection of what we typically order either: no salt and pepper anything or any of the rice roll dishes. I know part of the experience is to hustle for the food and if a cart comes, just say yes to whatever they offer or else you'll go hungry...but the wait for a cart was just too long. Overall, with a bunch of places closing down in Orlando, I would still come back to this place just for the great tasting food alone. Located off kirkman and 50, this place is easy to miss inside a busy Asian market district. Open for lunch and dinner, they serve traditional food and dim sum. I was a little disappointed that they only serve dimsum on carts for lunch and the dinner menu is very limited for dimsum. We got the BBQ pork dimsum (nice and fluffy) and the shrimp and chive dimsum (amazing flavor and the outside for just a little crispy). We also tried the chicken cashew dish (wish it had more spice/flavor to the sauce as I kept having to put in chili paste and soy sauce to get good flavor - it also didn't come with green peppers, but instead peas and carrots which was different for me. The last dish we got was pork and pan fried noodles. The noodles were nice and crispy in the sauce and so much flavor definitely would order again. We got there around 6 o'clock on Wednesday evening and it wasn't very crowded. But by 630 they were at least 30 other people inside the restaurant and all the tables are banquet style seating which means there's very little room in between the tables and they are definitely not seating by covid standards. read more

Came with a dim sum hungry belly for Mother's Day and we were very pleased! Orlando is a melting pot of variety of food but we have not had a good dim sum spot in the past. This place is pretty good. We're originally from Seattle and so this reminded us of home, particularly China town. Food was fast, hot, and tasty. Ambiance was very family oriented!
