The service was friendly and attentive. The food...just eh. Believe the other reviews when they stress no seasoning, it's true. The ambience was inviting and colorful, there were a few annoying gnats flying around us as we waited for our food. . I ordered an Asada Burrito Loco ; I've never had an Asada Burrito with meat that looks like ground meat. I believe the beef used is of poor quality; lots of gristle and served chopped extremely small. This burrito has no sour cream, guacamole, minimal refried beans, cheese and comes with a capful of flavorless green salsa - tomatoes minimal, lettuce minimal, plenty of rice (filler)...minimal meat. It will cost just under $10. Cannot recommend as an eatery to run out and try. read more

Was going to Tanks pizza but they were closed until 4 pm. We decided to try Teresita's Mexican restaurant. Great food, Great Sweet Tea, Carne Guisada was tender and delicious, homemade tortillas. The service was great and very friendly. The owner came by and told us not to hurry they close at 3;00 pm. Such a nice owner and gave us a couple more tortillas. If your on N New Braunfels, stop by. They serve breakfast all day.The bathroom was very clean!! read more

We came here on a Saturday morning just to kill some time, and the service was so nice. We felt right at home. All of the waitress' checked on us multiple times. We just had coffees and capirotada, and both were great. Everyone around us were raving about their food. Would def come back to try more. read more

My order was through DoorDash. We ordered the taco norteño which was super delicious. Ordered the cheese enchiladas also delicious and torta de asada it was good as well but not happy with the size of the torta. It was small never seen a small torta. Lol read more

Delish. Hit the spot. If you are out and about looking for Mami's cooking here's your spot. I'm referring to the good food that was a Sunday meal cooked all morning and you would wait for with anticipation... The menudo is not too salty and flavorful. The kick is soft on the palate. The bowl is a generous and plentiful ( actually too much for me) which is also *loaded* with tripe. Served hot and with a smile This restaurant has great staff -a mix of ages. As soon as I walked in, the waitress greeted me. Was very polite and professional. I'm very happy and more than satisfied with how the tacos came out. The tortillas were fresh and homemade, the food inside them was fresh and hot. Bag came with enough hot sauce and salt. I really enjoyed them. Enough to try to write a decent review. $16 for a bowl of caldo n tea for lunch. What a rip off... Givdn about 8 chips brfore the caldo and 2 prices of lemon napkins were counted and xtra thin. employees hang out by front door so one has to go pass them and excuse oneself place is NOT worth it. food isn't great over priced I just been coming here every morning before work to have coffee with the guys. Became friends with the waitresses really nice lady's always on top of everything. I just have 2 or 3 cups of coffee with the guys while they have there breakfast. coffee was 1.99 then 2.99 now the owner told her ladies to charge only the guys that drink coffee 4.99 a cup and 2.99 if they take a cup to go. NEVER leave a tip on card because she keeps it she doesn't give the tips to the ladies when they work for it. people come to the restaurant because of them there personality and there hard work on checking on there tables. but I had to give it 1 star to post I wasnt going to rate read more

Just returned taco ordered for a group of teachers because one of the tacos had ROACH in it ! This absolutely unexceptionable and completely disgusting! This place needs to be shut down and it really make me wonder how many people have eaten ROACHES in their food . . Eat here at your own risk if and always check your tacos thoroughly!!!! read more

Food was very bland and the portions were small for the price! The flour tortillas served were cold and hard! They only had two servers to handle the inside and the drive thru. Someone needs to tell the cook that this is a Mexican Restaurant and spices are required! I've been a waitress for 30 years came for lunch with 2of my friends today I'm vegetarian so I had to make up a burrito with rice beans avocado lettuce tomato sour cream and when the waitress brought my food there was no rice in the burrito they cut the burrito and put lettuce and tomato on side which I was completely surprised was I to unroll the burrito and put it in my self???Another thing everyone else had a large Togo cup and we had a can of coke .The menudo was salty and had tons of the little seasoning sticks so she had to pick them out..THE SERVICE Is TERRIBLE they need to be trained to serve food not flirt or at least give equal service. read more

Decided to give this place a second try well I was disappointed again! Picked up breakfast tacos and my chorizo wasn't cooked to top it off they didn't add cheese even though I paid for it, I'm glad I checked my order before leaving or they would've said I didn't pay for it like last time. Extremely reasonable lunches. Many for $4.99 with tea. Located on N.New Braunfels on the Eastside but with a flare of Mexico when you walk in. The coffee is not to strong and not too weak. Tasty flour tortillas. Great Mexican food, especially when your on a budget. Closed Sundays. read more

Very friendly service and good food. I usually never tip for a to go order, but this was one of the exceptions.

Under current outside remodeling, but atmosphere inside is good - bright, clean, festive - typical for Mexican restaurant. Was alone and not given chips, but tables with couples were given chips and salsa. Maybe i was supposed to ask for chips if i wanted them? Its just as well, though, bc their salsa was awful, IMO. It was very dark, spicy, and tasted like whiskey. Whiskey?? Yes. Service was fast. I got the Mexican plate which was unremarkable. Asked for pico and was given a bowl that was 60% chopped jalapenos, 20% tomatoes, 20% onion. No cilantro. Flour tortillas, while home made, were not fresh as they were cold and hard. Overall, I won't be back. There are WAY too many Mexican joints in San Antonio to waste time, money and calories on unremarkable food, cold tortillas and gross salsa. The iced tea was good, though, although they first brought sweet tea when I asked for unsweet, but the to go cup they used was large and was my favored shape. read more
