I think it's fairly safe to say that if you've been to one Teriyaki place, you've been to all of them. In almost all circumstances you'll find either a chicken dish, a pork dish, or a beef dish, and the rest of the menu items are combinations of the original three. Sure, each one will have its own items that they make, but it's nothing revolutionary. Well, that being said, Teriyaki Etc is just like every other Teriyaki place, but it succeeds perfectly at it. The food is good, and the price isn't too bad. I'd almost say it's a little high, until you compare it to any type of ethnic food in the surrounding area, and then you realize it's right on par. I enjoyed that my meal came with two pot stickers, which was nice. I'd suggest getting the chicken beef combo, and i'm excited to try the spicy chicken. One suggestion though, bring back the anime posters. It gave the store character. read more

I order teriyaki chicken and gyoza to go. My food was ready in less than five minutes. The presentation of the food was great. The portions are smaller compared to other places. My chicken teriyaki was dry. The gyoza tasted good but the gyoza dipping sauce tasted like plain vinegar. I'm disappointed by the the chicken teriyaki and gyoza sauce. First, this use to be a great place for Teriyaki! NOT ANYMORE!!! Twice have ordered chicken dishes with the family only to DIG OUT the CHICKEN!! It is DRY & HARD & FLAVORLESS! Our order was ready in less than 3 minutes?? How did you COOK our chicken that fast? YOU DID NOT!!! THAT'S HOW!! Our already tasteless chicken had been long previously cooked and then reheated to unperfection!! Then when you tell the owner he gets RUDE and Defenseless and says he does not want to hear it!! This restaurant was conveniently located in front of my hotel. I got takeout twice and the food was awesome. Japanese restaurants like this don't exist at home, instead we have a lot of Chinese restaurants in our shopping centers. The pork katsu & dumplings are great. read more

There was canned green beans instead of fresh vegetables and teriyaki sauce instead of Gochujang pepper sauce(?!) Yuck! I work nearby and end up eating here during my busier weeks (when I don't have time to drive anywhere). The teriyaki dishes are average. Everything is stir-fried (at least to reheat the chicken), so there's more oil used than what I'd prefer. The sauce is good. Beyond the teriyaki, I have found little that I like. The chicken katsu is deep fried AFTER it's been cut into strips, so it tends to be overcooked and quite greasy. The staff are always very friendly, so bonus points for that. read more

Meh. I love teriyaki and probably get it one or two times a week. I was exited to try this place by my work for lunch yesterday and let's say I was less than impressed. There was hardly enough teriyaki sauce on my chicken and the chicken itself was very dry thin breast meat. I was there for lunch so maybe it was a result of the lunch hour rush... I got the pork teriyaki and I was very disappointed with what I had. I opened my "to go" order and wondered where is the meat and the sauce. I pretty much had a container of rice. Stopped here for the first time for lunch today and the place was packed with a line out the door. I had at least 12 people ahead of me yet I placed my order within 5 minutes after arriving. My food was ready, and I'm not exaggerating - about 5 minutes later. The chicken teriyaki was perfectly cooked and the orange chicken was superb. What a wonderful surprise. Teriyaki Etc is so freaking good! I discovered this place because I was looking for BiBimBowl and this place was at the same address, so I guess the store got taken over or moved? Anyways I ordered the Korea combo which came with spicy chicken (spiced by Korean chili paste, gochujang) and beef, rice, steamed veggies, 2 gyoza and Kimchi. The chicken had a really nice spice to it and it was one of the most tender chicken breast pieces I've ever had. I had family members try the chicken and now they all want to go next time. The beef was kind of tough but tasted good with all the sauces and julienned veggies in it. This is what's holding me back with giving 5 stars. The veggies tasted fresh and was a great side dish to my meat. The kimchi was the bomb, best tasting kimchi I've had. It must be house made because I've never tasted kimchi that fresh yet still fermented in the perfect way. I also ordered the veggie tempura and more gyozas. The tempura isn't greasy like most places and its fried to perfection. Gyoza was good not the best I've had but good. The staff working here work extremely fast it's pretty exciting just watching the actions of them cooking your food and they're extremely nice. This place is busy like 100% of the time which also tells you how good the food is. read more

It seems like they are cutting corners to make ends meet and there quality of the food is taking a hit. Where do I begin? As I sit here next to my half eaten order, I look back and reflect on the good times with the other orders of teriyaki I've gotten from other establishments in the past 20 years or so. The problem I'm running into, is trying to find a worse example of teriyaki. I can't. This is literally one of the worst food experiences I have ever had. How is it possible that my cooked order of spicy pork teriyaki is somehow cold on the bottom warm on top, dry as my sense of humor, with absolutely no spice and/or flavor to the meat? My coworker had asked what was wrong with my chicken teriyaki. He thought the pork WAS CHICKEN!! When I told him it was pork, the look of bewilderment on his face reminded me of when a child finds out Santa Claus isn't real. I'm not sure where my extra order of rice went, but the grotesque salad that they replaced it with sure isn't hitting the spot. I'm almost thinking about fedexing it back to them to try and get my money back. All in all, long stoey short, cutting to the chase, I will never be ordering teriyaki from this establishment ever again. The fact that my "pork" was cold, makes me think that I'm in for a long night on the toilet. I'll let you know if I end up in the hospital. But by all means stay away from this place. I've been in the area on many occasions, and decided to stop by for lunch. Not necessarily one of the higher rated teriyaki places in the area, and now I understand why. I'd been warned by friends that it probably wasn't worth visiting, but figured I'd see for myself since I'm always on the lookout for new teriyaki places in different areas. I went with standard chicken teriyaki since I feel like it's a good barometer to measure different teriyaki places. Portion size was average, didn't feel like I was shortchanged but certainly have seen places that give more for the money. I ordered takeout, and 3/4 of the bottom was layered with rice, and tiny portion of cold stir-fried vegetables. It was quite the surprise to have the cold vegetables, which was a few mouthfuls at best. The chicken was a decent portion, but very dry. There was a little drizzle of teriyaki sauce over the chicken, so most of it was just grilled chicken. For the most part chicken quality was decent, but a few pieces were quite grisly Surprised to find much of the rice underneath had been doused in sauce. Very little was still white, which made it all the more shocking that the chicken had so little sauce. Almost as if sauce was put over the rice, and then chicken on top of that. Can't say that I'd be ever inclined to visit again. its near the bottom of teriyaki places I've visited over the course of my life. Workers were nice, but I'd suggest visiting one of the numerous teriyaki options near Canyon Park/Thrasers Corner, Bothell proper, or head into Woodinville. read more

Food was not delivered until 50 minutes after the expected delivery(which was already an hour) and when we called to ask where the food was and why it was taking so long the lady on the other line said she didn't have the drivers phone number and that it would be delivered soon.... So we waited another half hour and called again and she again said it would be there soon and when we wanted to cancel the order she hung up on us???? Don't order from here. I'll start by naming the strengths of Teriyaki Etc. and end with the weaknesses. The food is prepared very quickly. I've been to a number of places that will make you wait for 15+ minutes, but I received mine within 5 minutes at this location (This might have been just because I arrived during the peak lunch rush though). They are also very quick with taking orders. They have two registers, which definitely speeds things up. The ok. The food is pretty standard. There are 100's of Teriyaki places and this one didn't stand out. The food is good, but I could have received the same exact meal at any other place. The major weaknesses. There wasn't a good seating area. I went in a group of 7 of my coworkers and we couldn't sit next to each other. Also, I haven't been to a Teriyaki place for a while, but the prices seemed expensive to me. A basic Chicken Teriyaki cost me $8 with tax and I'm used to getting cheaper than that with the same quality if not better. Overall, this is a nice quick/consistent place to grab a meal on lunch break and I would definitely go back. read more

It's obvious when walking into Teriyaki etc. who the expected cliental is. The place is surrounded by a business park where people are looking for a fast lunch and have a little extra cash in the pocket. The food is pretty good and the restaurant is rather fancy. But, what you get for the price tends to be extremely lacking. If they would give you a little more I'd probably be more included to give them a higher rating, since they don't, I'd recommend driving up to Thrashers Corner for a few good teriyaki restaurants. read more

Great teriyaki place in a neighborhood with almost literally nothing else. The combination plates are awesome, and the spicy teriyaki chicken is killer! Also have some awesome tempura, and you get your food really fast too. I usually just order by phone and they can have it ready as quickly as 5 minutes or whenever you need it. The only drawback to this place is that it's basically take-out only. Not really any place to sit. They also aren't open on weekends as far as I know, but that may have changed. Always crowded at lunchtime for good reason. read more

The service was fine and didn't have to wait long to get the spicy chicken with rice that I ordered but the portions were way to small and had little spice at all. I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews. I only go on weekdays during lunch and there's always 6 or 7 people in there, either eating or waiting for their order. This place is great. I always get their combos with the gyoza or the eggroll with beef teriyaki. Hasn't failed me yet. The pricing is correct, the service is friendly, and they definitely give a big portion. It's worth the money. The main plus about this place is the cooked cabbage they serve. Teriyaki places usually come with cold salad with an odd dressing, this place provides cooked cabbage which is delicious. I definitely recommend this place for lunch or if you are super hungry after. They also serve burgers and fries which is odd, but I'm sure I'll try it one day soon. read more

This is a decent teriyaki place, but watch out for their skewed pricing though EAT24. I've been going to this place for some time since I work down the street at AT&T Bothell office. I tried several of their chicken and beef plates and combos over the last 2 months. Today, I decided to order an "Atkins friendly" chicken plate on eat24 since they sent me a $2 off coupon. I went into the store and saw the same item was $2.50 cheaper on the menu. Not a huge deal, but it seems like they skew their prices up by about 25-30% to cover 3rd party fees so keep that in mind. Otherwise, their food is pretty good. I like the Mongolian Beef and Chicken Teriyaki. They also have some combos with Gyoza or egg roll and you can choose brown rice at no extra charge. read more

Pretty good tofu yakisoba. Cooked in way too much oil. I would recommend adding a spicy sauce they nicely offer. Still using plastic bags and styrofoam. -1.5 star for lack of flavor complexity -0.5 star for still using landfill filling, never degrading plastic bags and styrofoam. Just went back for a second time and found out that not only do they use plastic bags and styrofoam but they also do not recycle the glass and aluminum cans they sell in their restaurant. Would leave 0 stars if I could. Placed an order for delivery and got an update from Eat24 saying it would be delayed. Total time for delivery was supposed to be 1 hour. 1.5 hours later I contact Eat24 and I get a call from the restaurant saying they had no delivery people. The actual restaurant never even attempted to contact me in the 1.5 hours to explain this. When talking to the restaurant they tried to have me use Uber Eats and pay for my own delivery and did not even offer to pay for the fee after making me wait for 1.5 hours. Generally pretty good! I usually go in around 11 for early lunch and the food it pretty fresh. Recently have been in around 3-4 and the food wasn't to good. The meat is really dry. Seems like they cook their chicken in the morning and then re-grill then later on in the day. Lots and lots of choices though. I would recommend going in earlier than later read more

Worst service. The lady was rude I tried to explain something and she barely responded. I got the katsu curry and I saw on the board that it comes with dumplings. I then told her if it does not come with 2 dumplings then you should take it off the board. After repeatedly telling her this she then pulls out a card that says today's specials which was behind the counter that katsu curry was the special and did not explain. read more
