    Slow Braised Duroc Pork Shank
    P S.

What a pleasant surprise to find this place! I love the plants! You must sit in the back. I've passed this place a thousand times and would have never expected a greenhouse in the back. We split the spinach and feta salad and it was very good, still a good portion when split. I had the short ravioli in vodka sauce- sooo yummy! But I was still hungry after. My guest had the slow braised duroc pork shank. It was a very large portion with polenta and Brussels. Service was attentive and accommodating to celiac/gluten free.

My family and I enjoyed a birthday dinner at Terra Terroir. They are located in an unassuming shopping plaza with plenty of free parking. We had made a reservation on open table to secure a seat on the patio. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the host and shown to our table. The smells from the open kitchen filled the air and our stomachs were happily growling. We let our server know we were celebrating a couple of birthdays and she let us know that Mondays are half price wine bottles $50 or less. She made a great recommendation and brought our bottle to the table. The patio was so warm and cozy with fire places roaring, decorated heat lamps, flowers on all the tables and growing plants and a water feature. We ordered the Terra burger and lamb chops and it was all really good. We needed to go boxes because the portions were so big. Finally, we shared the flourless chocolate cake topped with berries for dessert. It was a lovely way to celebrate our birthday.

I came here for dinner and it was a pleasant surprise. This place has a very nice decor. It feels like Italy. The building has three sections: main inside, bar, and outside patio. The main inside has plenty of booths and tables. The bar is at the entrance. The outside patio has a cover for the weather. The bar is inside and nice with limited seating. The staff is friendly but the place was packed and slowed down service a bit. I ordered the slow roasted pork shank, sake martini, Rye redemption, and dessert pizza. The cocktails tasted great. The Rye Redemption is pretty much a Manhattan with a splash of bitters. The sake martini has a Japanese fruit puree in it which makes it sweet and balanced. The pork shank comes with fried Brussel sprouts and grits. The Brussel sprouts and grits are amazing and made this dish worth it. The pork shank was a little tougher than I expected and it was a low temperature. The dessert pizza or apple pizza is a fried tortilla with cinnamon sugar as a base. Then it is piled on with cinnamon apples, blue berries, crumbles, and mint leaves. The dish came cold but they took it back and warmed it up. They also put a bit of vanilla ice cream on top. It tasted great the second time.

My first time and I enjoyed the ambiance. I want to try again perhaps I ordered the wrong dish. Service was good. I was not crazy about what I ordered. Dessert was tasty!

One of our go to restaurants in Brookhaven. Great wine selection and food. Food is much better than in prior years! New items on the menu which are great!

I found…read morethem on Yelp a week or so before and ended up making a reservation on their website the next day. I'm so glad we listened to the other reviews and gave them a visit because our entire table of four had a lovely time. We started with drinks and I settled on a glass of wine. They had the exact type of sauvignon blanc that I wanted, which was an immediate win. As a group we settled on the whipped goat cheese and brussel sprouts for appetizers. The brussel sprouts came with bacon so I steered clear, but the others raved about them. The whipped goat cheese dip was also a nice choice with the garden veggies. Super creamy and refreshing. As for my entree I went with risotto of the week with salmon. It was absolutely delicious and I ate every bite. We had a birthday in the group so we of course had to get desserts. We shared the creme brulee and this super decadent chocolate cake. Both with fresh berries, love! The creme brulee was definitely my favorite of the two, but you can't go wrong. As for the space itself, it's beautiful. It gave off a sort of a modern farmhouse vibe with the wood and brick. With the twinkle lights and earthy touches bringing it all together. Our service was also on point. Jackson was awesome (as you can see in the other reviews) and kept the good vibes flowing all night. I would definitely come here again.

The bartender was friendly without going over the top. He checked on me periodically but allowed me to enjoy my dinner, prosecco, and book (Harvest Season). I ordered the chicken empanadas which had a beautiful presentation. I loved the sour cream on the side and the green sauce (not sure what it's called) but the chicken was not very flavorful. The glazed brussel sprouts were crispy, sweet, and tasty. I enjoyed the meal but next time I might try the potato skins. Loved the upscale minimalist decor. I wonder if they turn the tv's on for soccer? We shall see! I'll be back.

The bad weather left us with a change of plans last minute from being fully outdoor to fully indoor and she went above and beyond for us. I haven't even gotten to the food and drinks yet. It was phenomenal. Absolutely incredible. My mouths watering just typing this. We chose 4 pizzas for our event and would order every single one again. Everyone who came to the event couldn't stop talking about how good it was, how nice the inside was, and how much fun they had. My girlfriend came for pizza. I believe she had a Margarita pizza maybe "beam me up Scotty" I'm not sure. I came for what I remembered to be seven lamps's old burger. Or at least something similar. My burger came with a Caesar salad which I love. I also enjoyed an old-fashioned. Our server was lovely and informative. However, my old-fashioned was yummy, but on the sweeter side. Next time, and I think there will be a next time, I will ask if they can make it less sweet. Also, the cherry was completely wrong. At least it wasn't good. I take my cherries very seriously in my old-fashioned. My burger was good and the Caesar salad was delicious. However, it just didn't hit the way that I had hoped. The restaurant was also out of Tabasco. They gave me a buffalo sauce which in my opinion was gross. I hope this restaurant finds its bold audacious way of telling the neighborhood who they are and what they offer. I feel like they're trying to figure out what the neighborhood wants. I'll give it a few months and come back. I work in the area. I was Just disappointed by the lack of WOW.

Both the tuna and the octopus apps were great. Wife's steak was prepared well and my beef Wellington was incredible. Not often you find it on a menu and the prep here was outstanding. Sides were good and the sauce was kinda whatever and totally unnecessary. Somehow left room for the dessert (bread pudding with ice cream) and had no regrets. Jahjoy pork belly: Tasty & tendor. I loved the papaya salad which left a refreshing contrast. A bit too saucy for me. Flavors were strong. Squid ink bucatini: our favorite! Must get dish - bucatini is perfectly al dente & the spicy sauce was very flavorful. Jumbo shrimp was delicious, and the anchovy on top left a nice strong flavor. Red snapper: This has some Vietnamese influences with the sauce. It was a lighter dish which was just OK for me, I would have liked the fish to have a crispier skin. Not much flavor besides the sauce which is inspired by canh chua. Wagyu flank steak: cooked to perfection and flavored well, loved the celery puree which was much tastier than we expected celery to be. Dessert was mint chocolate cake which was very tasty. I wish the cake was softer and meltier in the center but it was still good. Malt gelato was delicious. Could def taste the mintiness. Creme pat along the edges was a nice add to the cake with cacao nibs and popcorn for a textural contrast. I enjoyed it!! Overall we had a great meal and could tell the ingredients were very fresh.
