I attended a wine dinner at Terrene over the Summer, and recently picked up a salad there for lunch. I was stunned by the atmosphere when I visited for the first time! It is really nicely decorated and they have cool lights and plants hanging from the ceiling. Not only is it a super chic salad shop, but the space is available for private event rentals too! The wine dinner I attended really showcased their special dishes that are available for catering. The chef is super talented, and I would recommend her catering your private events! For lunch I tried the Butternut Squash salad: Green Leaf Lettuce, Roasted Butternut Squash, Dried Cranberries, Pickled Red Onions, Walnuts, with Sweet Tarragon Vinaigrette. The proteins you could add were chicken, tofu, or steak. I added tofu and wasn't sure how it would be prepared. It was grilled and was flavorful, but very, very salty. I loved the salad and homemade salad dressing. The size was comparable to other salad shops like Hello Bistro and Roots. They also have flatbreads and sandwiches on their menu too! I arrived around 12:30 pm and pulled right up to their curbside pick up option. I left my hazard lights on and ran in to pick up my salad. The service was great! There were other people there eating and waiting for orders, but it wasn't packed. Once people go back to working in offices in Station Square, I would expect it to be much busier. This is a great healthy lunch option in Station Square. I love that you can order online and go pick it up 30 minutes later. I saw that they also have homemade soups, and I will definitely try one next time.

Wow. Went this week for their Kamayan dinner and it was one of the greatest experiences I've had! The food was incredible, the atmosphere tropical and welcoming, and the staff helpful and attentive. I can't wait to go back and try some of Terrene's regular menu if it's even half as good as their Kamayan dinner!

This place is my most favorite in pandemic. They have a clean calm ambiance, as I see they have recycle bins and it seems their business is green. The food is so good, high quality ingredients and makes me feel home. I love their avocado toast. Thank you for staying open in this hard times. Keep up the good work.

I had the opportunity to experience the pre-launch of terrene x casa manila Kamayan Dinner This hand-to-mouth dining experience is a must for anyone who loves exploring new cuisines and traditions! The meats were seasoned beautifully (loved the chicken and pork belly), the fruit cut the heaviness of the meal, and the rice was the perfect added grain! I also tried their curbside pick-up salads and loved the fall butternut squash salad w/ chicken. Stunning, earthy interior, limited seating. Parking is garage or paid lot parking. A bit of a walk to drop off at the front if your guests can't walk too far.

I'm a hard maybe on this place. Seems like it might be more of a stop and grab food and take it home.. every thing is in carry out containers. I you walk in and order on a computer. ( like sheetz) I will say the people preparing the food were very nice and helpful. I couldn't modify the food or see exactly was on it so I just guessed. I got a flatbread. It was okay. A bit sweet but they had some hot sauce in the condiment counter which balanced it out. The atmosphere is cute. You do have to have a code to go to the bathroom which is a little intense.

Located in Station Square, this is a fantastic lunch spot for quick breakfast/grain bowls. They also offer flatbreads (BOGO offer after 3pm on weekdays). For larger groups, check out their private dinner experiences by Chef Kim.

Went here today for lunch and loved the experience! Didn't expect to walk into a beautiful restaraunt with such a good vibe! I really liked the self serve service with the touch screen ordering system. I ordered a warm bowl and sat outside where we waited for our food to be called. We had our food in front of us within 15 minutes. Will definitely come back!

I want to love this place because I work across the street, and it's one of few quick spots for lunch in station square. Unfortunately, every time I go I just feel like I've spent too much money on food that gets wasted. I wish they offered smaller sizes for the salads and at a lower price. They have BYO options which is definitely a plus. LOVE the fried cauliflower, although sometimes there have been issues with the preparation (overcooked, undercooked w batter, etc).

I really enjoyed eating here! I stopped by for a quick bite and ordered the margherita pizza and tomato basil soup. The tablet ordering system was confusing to use so it took a while to place my order. Food was received quickly and hot which I loved. Each bite was delicious. Definitely recommend trying this place out.

Most bowls are rice, greens, and/or beans based with various vegetables for toppings. Heartier than a salad but healthier than Chipotle. I've gotten lunch there a few times and have always been satisfied. My favorite bowl is El Jefe, which comes with rice, kale, black beans, corn, red onion, avocado, and a protein topping (I like the miso tofu but you can also get chicken). The bowl also comes with cilantro/lime sauce, which I do not get because it's very salty. That's my one complaint about Roots - despite their healthy ingredients, their bowls can get quite saucy and salty if you go with the default options. This particular location is well-staffed, so service is usually quick, but it can get a rush of students around 12pm.

The bowl was good but I was a little disappointed in the portion. Roots is a little bit more expensive than other similar options but I usually don't mind as they often give me a very full bowl, but that wasn't the case with the Gary bowl. It was less full than the bowls I usually get along with being very heavy on the rice and not too much chicken or even the kale. Aside from that it was still yummy but I think I'll be going back to my regular order next time.

I wouldn't really call this a supper club to be honest but the place definitely carries a house music bar vibe and the back bar area and seating is very dimly lit, perfect for cozying up and enjoying a drink late night. The ladies' room was so dark, I mistook it for a storage area because I could only make out a white ladder in the corner that was being used as cute shelving. The place is seat yourself. Our waiter was not super friendly and didn't offer to give us napkins or anything when our wobbly table caused our drinks to splash all over the place. The cook served our chicken with a big smile and happy interaction and we really loved his personality. The bartender also stopped by to bus our table and he was very pleasant as well. We enjoyed the perfectly fried small plate cauliflower with the plum sauce and the fried cheese/garlic wonton bites with the sriracha mayo spicy dipping sauce. The fried chicken breast on the large plate was slightly overcooked with a maple gochuchang sauce that was very bland. We were so thankful that the large plate fried chicken came with a side salad to offer some respite from the heaviness of the fried dishes. It would have been great to have some side acidic or fresh vegetable options like Kimchi or something. Maybe we tried the wrong dishes and there are other not fried things that are delicious? The dirty martini cocktail was just so-so, not really much flavor at all, but the mojito was very good and refreshing. It's probably a good late-night place for a bite and drink.

Fantastic vibe in there as well, cool lighting (although something from up above kept falling). It's a highly acclaimed place for a reason. I got to try their beet soup (borscht), tea, potato pancake, and rice pudding dessert. The menu changes decently consistently I believe, and I did visit a little while ago, for notice. The food was very tasty. Huge potato pancake that was cooked perfectly with a nice topping of what I can only describe as vegan sour cream and some sort of very flavorful vegetables. I quite liked it, surprisingly tasty and creamy topping. Now the borscht, which I tend to be picky with, was just okay. The number one detractor for the borscht was the salt level. The food is just far, far too salty (the pancake was pretty salty too). Other than that, quite good. Love the side of rye. The dessert was very good. Surprisingly light. Came with a little caramelized baked fruit on top (apple/pear, something like that). Rice was reasonably creamy and very flavorful. So good! All in all, a nice spot for a nice dinner. Especially great for vegans. However, the food did taste too salty for my liking.

We stopped by while walking around the Strip District looking for a quick lunch. During lunch service, you order at the kiosk, find a seat, and clean up after yourself, which makes for a casual and easy experience. Food: The tomato sauce here is probably some of the best red sauce I've had in a long time. We ordered the Caprese Panzanella, meatballs, crispy potatoes, and spaghetti with red sauce. Everything was delicious, but the salad completely stole the show for me. It was packed with fresh ingredients, bright flavors, and so many different textures that worked perfectly together. Every dish tasted fresh, simple, and executed well. Service: For lunch, you're mostly taking care of yourself, but the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming whenever we interacted with them. This is one of those places that doesn't need a long review because you really just need to try it for yourself. I'd absolutely recommend stopping by if you're visiting Pittsburgh for either lunch or dinner. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and a fun atmosphere. LOVED our dinner at this place…read more We came here for dinner while visiting Pittsburgh. The first thing that struck me was the interior decor. Very industrial and moody with an open kitchen/preparation area that adds some intrigue. I do like to see the happenings of what's going on as someone with zero attention span. Service was excellent. George was fantastic. He kept a close eye on us without being overbearing. He anticipated what we might need so we didn't spend one second waiting to order anything. The menu is not endless or overwhelming which, presumably, allows them to focus on the items that are listed. I have decision panic so it was kinda nice to have less things to choose from. They asked if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions so I mentioned my vegetarianism. George went through the menu and pointed out the vegetarian options including what seems like it is vegetarian but isn't. They had TWO vegetarian entree options and fortunately the non-mushroom one was something I probably would have ordered anyway: pesto with walnuts, arugula, and a very generous amount of grated cheese. To start, I ordered the Brussels sprouts whichc I was warned had fish sauce. This was fine but nothing that blew me away. GF, on the other hand, loved this. GF ordered the wedge which was brought to our attention as vegetarian with the bacon on the side, which was her request. We ended up sharing both, a large part of that was because hers came out first and I couldn't wait but I'm so glad because the wege was FANTASTIC. The dressing? holy fuck pure ecastasy. The wedge was more like a filet shape which was much easier to eat. Who decided on the wedge shape anyway? The lettuce was so fresh and crisp and went wonderfully with that orgasmic dressing and breadcrumbs. Back to my pasta. Also delectable. Noodles were al dente. The sauce was creamy and packed that pesto umami flavor. The walnuts were a really nice contrast in texture. Everything about it absolutely fucking slapped. GF ordered the mushroom entree which came served on a bed of barley which, don't mind if I do, had a few forkfuls to "sample" for "my review". Again, so fucking good. Because it was my birthday, George provided a dessert (yuzu maybe?) that was served inside a meringue-esque igloo, creamy perfect balance of sweet and tart custard with some berry business underneath. Wonderful. I almost forgot their spectacular cocktails! Holy shit, literally they have a CORN CHIP cocktail that I could not pass up. It comes with two massive cornchips on top of a flavored foam. When you bring the glass up to sip, the cornchips are right in front of your nose and their aroma sets the stage for the drink which was STRONG. It wasn't as corn chip forward as I expected but I understand that flavor is probaly hard to create. For my second drink, I ordered the blue one which was refreshing, light, and really good. GF ordered a spritz which was gorgeous "it was good". For second round, I picked out some uranium thing that was very cucumbery, GF says, "it was good". I just read it outloud to her. "it's true!" Fantastic meal at a great place.

Not a big deal to me but elderly people might have issues. I ordered 2 smoothies, a chicken, black bean and cheese quesadilla, and a fruit cup. Ready for the total? $33..... insane. The prices are very steep. If you go in for just a smoothie thats a little more acceptable but to pay $5 for a couple strawberries, half a banana, and half an apple is crazy. The smoothies are also not even that great. I got my son the strawberry banana one and it was so bland. I got the sunrise sunset one and it was somewhat flavorful.
