I just placed my order for a new 2022 Tesla Model Y. The process was very smooth and only required a $250 deposit. Unfortunatley Tesla's don't have a lot of options like other traditional cars. I think there are only 5 exterior colors and 2 interior and thats it. I had to deduct 1 star becauuse it will take at least 7 moths to get the car which is a total bummer. read more

Like the previous yelpers before, 'AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST'. I needed to replace my windshield and the earliest appointment just happens to be at the Burbank service center. Once I made an appt, they decided to push my appt out for another two months without notifying me. This seems to be a consistent pattern for them. When I took the car in, they sat on it for two days. There were no communications despite several attempts made via the Tesla app. They didn't tell me that they were keeping the car overnight and didn't set me up with any uber credits. I had my friend pick me up and drop me off. I finally received a call on the 2nd day letting me know I can pick up my car the following morning- they gave no explanation nor was I interested in hearing their excuse for the lack of communication. My car came back dirtier than how it was previously. The arm rest and wheel had grease stains that are still present even after wiping it with cleaning solution. To add insult to injury, they inadvertently received payment from my insurance claim (Tesla Insurance) after I had already paid them. BUT who do you call at the Burbank service center when they don't publish their local number! The following day I drove my car to work and all the sensors are disabled. Stability, regen emergency braking, auto-pilot, all disabled. Then the stirring wheel locked up and went into park when I pushed the gas peddle. Luckily, I wasn't killed by oncoming traffic. After sitting in the middle of the highway while traffic zoomed by me, the car allowed me to go into drive but all other sensors still out. It's back at the shop but not at Burbank!! read more

Went in to purchase an available car in stock at another tesla dealership location. Found what my husband and I wanted located at this location. Unfortunately less than 2 days after placing order for the car and about ready to pick up manager "tony" communicates that there is an issue and they will give the car to someone else. We said no we signed the paperwork and are ready to pick up the car in the lot that we paid the $250 dollars and also did the loan and paperwork already. He said there is no choice and that they have surplus and we could get it in a few days same price and style. Well, few days later he doesn't answer the phone, messages and there is no car because of the illegal, unethical and disturbing behavior of tesla and its company. Truly disappointed we are returning customers who were scammed by this location. Worse no contact from any management at all. Can't get in touch of anyone. Noone cares. Tesla needs to be sued for this illegal practice and awful treatment of paying customers with zero accountability or reliability from their staff or managers. Took my brand new Tesla less than 1 month for alignment and came back dirty. Stain (some type of oil stain) on above the door and some type of juice stain on side door. Use to have Lexus before and they always provided A Plus service. Oil stain did not come off! I have no time to go back and complain. Avoid this Tesla center for any services! read more

Absolutely exhausting! Horrible customer service, horrible repair jobs, unattentive service, incompetent work (they scratched my brand new car all over and didn't fix 80% of the problems my warranty should have covered), they don't return phone call or emails. After having 2 months to fix the car, there were still problems with it, so it needed to go back again! They had my "brand new" car for over 4 months in the shop for paint/misalignment/scratched parts/etc; and I had to go in for the "finished car" 5-6 times to see defects every time and have them rework it again. Probably wasted well over 10 hours of driving there. What can I say. It doesn't get worse than this service center. I have dealt with two people here, one in service and the other when I picked up my car. Both were rude to me. Tesla must really pay low wages, because McDonalds has better customer relations. When I get there, I was informed they are ALL spoken for and that I need an appointment to BUY one. WTF kind of communication is that? These people have zero respect for customers. Where to even begin on how incompetent mechanics & service advisors in this location. A bunch of millennials with iPads who feels they know it all, make you drive your car back or front and acts like they know better on what's wrong with your car! Brought my car the very THIRD TIME in the last 4 months with the same squeaking sound on the front hood. On the second visit it was SOMEHOW fixed but within 3 months it was back again. With an expired warranty they have charged us every single time we brought the car to fix the same problem and they always come up with a GUESS of what part to replace. Now 3rd time the charm. Tesla Burbank service advisor called and told us that the car is ready for pick-up after 1 week of cheap ass Uber credits that I've been using to go and from work. Pick-up was in Burbank Westfield parking lot and to add insult to injury, after checking the car the mechanic forgot to put back the frunk plastic was taken out and dumped in the backseat of my car! If I can give negative stars I would. Scheduled an appointment over 2 weeks ahead of time for a recall fix. At the time we let them know we have small children and would need a loaner vehicle. On the day of service my wife drops off my child at her activity and takes the car in, and of course they don't have a loaner for her. On top of it, they can't tell her when they will finish and hand her a voucher for Uber. We try to get hold of a manger and of course none on duty and nothing can be done even if you try to call their headquarters. To top it all off, they call us in couple of hours saying they don't have the part needed in stock and for us to go and pick up the car. Had a great experience here when my car was delivered. They spent about an hour with me explaining all of the functions of my new Model S. They had a gift bag with a tesla umbrella, pen, mug, pin, and a shirt waiting for me along with a sign with my name on it. My car also had a beautiful ribbon on top of it. Tesla is changing everything thing!It started on the day to pick up being told your appointment time is only a window of time and no guarantee your car will be ready, really! I have a appointment coming a distance please have the car ready at the appointment and then right down to the delivery here is the keys any questions I be over there sitting at the underground parking garage not the dealership crazy and I saw a mark on the car and I said something and was told go to the roof take a picture and email it really no customer service. I was told to google the car on how it works on programming. The Windshield cracked in less then 30 days. Everything is apparently done on the app wanting to message only with no customer service to talk to. I call to make a appointment at the dealership and was told to use app they don't make appointments. Then only to schedule a appointment on the app for them to reschedule. Really! Avoid this place if you are looking to get more information about the different options. I was asked to park in the street because they were busy. When I walked in, I wanted to find out about the Model Y and the Model X. The first thing the receptionist does is look at me and say, you know there's a significant price difference as if judging me on my looks. She finds this guy Jake who walks around for 30 minutes, trying to find a model X to look at and finally comes over and says that the staff is using it and that if I want to wait, it will be back at some point. He did, however, want to go over pricing before showing me the Model X. He then asked if I wanted a year-end delivery. When I told him I wanted to see the car first, he said well that they are busy, and he's not trying to push us away, but they are working with the year-end sales. Basically, stop wasting his time. There seems to be a lot of people walking around with laptops acting like we are a waste of their time. Bottom line. Avoid this location! My husband and I had a Tesla, and it was great the first year (model x 2018) then the second year a lot of glitches , the dash would black out and we would literally have to drive without a gauge which is very dangerous and scary this happened to us at least once every two weeks even after resetting the car etc , service told us it was normal which is even scarier, the service dept is very lazy and helpless they literally show up with an iPad and update your car they don't check it or tell you to go and change tires or any regular upkeep . We went through a mild bump on the freeway and the whole war fell apart, we live in LA there's always junk on the freeways I've never had this happen with other cars it was so extreme the whole side panel came off and the mirror , then to fix it they kept taking forever until we got it released and took it elsewhere. We were waiting for the model Y we had ordered and thank god it took forever to arrive they kept telling us it would come every day until we finally asked someone higher up after two months of having a rental and they told us it hadn't even been built yet, I'm so glad because we were almost stuck with another. Instead, I have a Maserati that we just replaced our model x with and customer service is soooo different and so much better. They are much more accommodating, friendly, they text me a little too much but whatever I appreciate it , at least I don't have to go through the very unhelpful Tesla app anymore (which also froze and glitched a lot) or my husband and I's lazy service advisor Soraya (sorry but you took four to five days to reply to us every times) don't get me wrong, I love Elon musk, I interviewed and got a job at space x in 2017 lol but Tesla cars definitely need a lot of improvement, and now that I'm planning on starting a family, they just don't cut it. Mercedes and Maserati are much more reliable, and safe for the similar luxury price point they are the way to go . Recieved an email to pick up my Model Y this week, it was quite busy on a Tuesday. I was in and out within the hour, did the thorough inspection and drove it back home. There were a few imperfections here and there, but it was more like there's a dirt spot on the white dash panel. Still pending on Tesla's service to realign my hood. After reading so many bad service reviews at this Tesla Service Center, my wife n I were a little afraid to bring our Tesla here for repair. They had the earlier opening for a cracked passenger glass roof repair so we brought it over because didn't want to wait. To our surprise, the staff were friendly and work was done within that day. Cracked passenger falcon wing glass and 4 tires changed! $1100 for the cracked glass roof and $1150 for the 4 Pirelli tires. Not bad. Thanks for the fast service. read more

YOU MUST GO SEE SARAH! So I went in about 2 weeks ago just to browse because I didn't know anything about electric cars but was in the market for a new car. THANKFULLY I got Sarah at Burbank Tesla. She was so patient and thorough with me. She made sure I understood all the basic components as well as the more advanced technology the car offers. Sarah was very knowledgeable about all the models and was able to provide us with pricing, terms, tax incentives and basically drew a perfect picture for us for all 3 models. I felt so comfortable and confident with her by my side. It was definitely a lot of information to take in and I had a vacation planned so I told her I would be back in about a week or so. Sarah followed up with me - not in the annoying sleezy dealership trying to sell you way- she was courteous and again VERY patient with me. We set up another appointment for today for me to test drive the different version (dual motor) and again answered my questions (as well as my husbands). She then led us through the entire buying process with the down payment, financing and etc. She made the usual annoying car buying process so pleasant and painless. ALSO ****** to top it alllll offffffff Sarah found my car in their inventory and set it all up so that my car was ready TODAY (there was a promo for 2 years free supercharging with the purchase of a model 3) if I set up delivery by Sept 30. You pick your car up from some sketchy parking lot, only to have issues and warnings signs. Then you take it to the service center and its only appointment based. First of all, I've always wanted a Tesla. Leasing one today in honor of my 50 something birthday is bucket list/goals. Instead of driving to the Westside where I normally do business, I picked up my Tesla from Burbank. I didn't check Yelp. I just scheduled my delivery there. A few salespeople were super friendly on the phone. I can't think of their names but I appreciate them. But when I arrived today, I felt completely neglected. Maybe this is the way they do business but one lady who came out to complete paperwork was not fun to deal with. Sure, Tesla is high tech DIY and they send a clear and detailed text message on how to pick up the car. My situation was a little different however and I felt like I ruined the woman's day. Seriously, it felt like she was doing me a favor even though I was the customer arriving with a cashiers check. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a white couple getting the full customer service treatment. I am not screaming "racism" but I notice things. Me, I had to figure it all out on my own and, mind you, I've never even sat inside a Tesla let alone turned one on and drove away in it. All good. I'm an Elon Musk fan and enjoyed the ride home.
