They are a no pressure shop and have skilled installers that have been with the shop for a long time. I really think this is a fantastic place to come in and get what you need at a great price for the item and the installation. I normally go to Bonnie and Clyde's but heard about this location through yelp and other sites and just wanted to check it out and see what they had to offer. I understand the owners from both stores are cousins. I personally came here to get an amp (Alpine) and two additional rear speakers (JL Audio) to replace the factory speakers, which after 11 years... just wasn't doing it for me. Let me just say that Jr will help you out with the right selection that fits your needs... and not just the most expensive high end product only because he wants to make a buck off of you... He gave me three options with three price ranges... allowed me to listen to all three and make my mind up... In addition, he even went as far to go online on amazon to compare and match prices for you should you feel uncomfortable... and he will work with you to educate why one system will work and another may not as the amp I wanted would not fit under my seat the way I thought it would. He even took the time to take that amp and place under my truck seat to let me see and explain the reasoning. I like that a lot. After the installation was done, I was able to check on it and see the workmanship performed by his staff. He used good quality 4 gauge wiring instead of an 8 gauge, which was important to me because it lets me know if he cares about the customer or his bottom line. Texas Audio did a great job on my new car. When we purchased the car it had a base model sound system and we wanted to upgrade. From start to finish, they did an exceptional job. I was very impressed at the professionalism and straight forward pricing they provided to us. I brought in 4 cases of Dynamat to be installed on my car. The installation was smooth, it may have took a little longer than anticipated ( couple of hours ), however a good job takes time and quality was delivered. I am pleased with the results, a week out and 200 miles in driving, noises have been reduced dramatically in the interior and music takes much less volume to get its point across, in fact I've had to turn the bass down on some songs ( factory stereo ). I had a back up camera installed on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I wanted someone who could tie it in to my factory radio but still give me the back up camera feature I was looking for. I worked with Junior to have it installed. They did a great job of installing it for me. It looks and acts like a factory installation all the way. I came in with many questions trying to familiarize myself with current products in order to make an informed decision, JR went above and beyond on knowledge, delivery of information, and understanding of my vision. We ended up working a phat system for my Silverado extended cab with a fitted box and the worx. I had a previous viper alarm installed on my older truck and now that I have a new one I have upgraded my viper to the latest two way and 1 mile with a glass break, tilt, and Solex siren. I chose this store because I saw that they had demos out and liked the idea of being able to hear the subwoofer before buying. I came around lunch time and the guy showed me different models and let me listen to different subwoofers. I was just going in to get pricing but they were able to fit me in right then! It's been many years since I purchased a tint job on a car. There was one guy doing the whole job and it took forever. I actually walked back there after what must have been almost 3 hours to find him reclined in the passenger seat of my car with his feet on my dash. The guys at Texas pulled me in right away and put two guys on my car. While they worked I surfed on my phone and enjoyed the cool air in their immaculately clean showroom, all while lounging in a very comfortable chair. Texas Audio is deserving of their 5 star rating on here. I took my car in to get my headlights converted from Halogen to LED and my particular headlight assembly had a special factory bracket that required a custom one to be made for the aftermarket LED headlight bulb to fit and work properly with. Junior and his team were excellent and professional, and communicated with me why my particular car and headlight assembly was different from most and what they were going to try and do to make it work, instead of saying he couldn't do it, he assured me it would be done if possible and they would figure something out to make it work. As promised they figured out a solution, and made it work and I am now happily using my better and brighter LED headlights that this car should have came with to begin with. I would not hesitate to recommend Texas Audio to anyone for their Audio or Car Customization needs, there are many Audio shops around, but I don't think many would go the extra mile that Texas Audio did in my situation.
