Only giving two stars because the food was good but this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. My sister and I went there to celebrate her achievements and we were rushed out of the place. The waiter took our plates and silverware before we were done eating. Our cards were still flipped over on the green side and we hadn't even been there for an hour. He gave us our checks and I put my card in there for him to take it. I went to the bathroom for a few minutes and he told my sister "make sure she signs the check" as if I was going to dine and dash. Had a really good time here for my partner's birthday dinner! It was a Thursday night, so it was a somewhat slow but steady crowd. The meat was all fantastic, except for the Parmesan pork and the bacon-wrapped chicken which we found to be a bit chewy and dry. Our favorites were the tenderloin and filet mignon along with the wonderful fried bananas, wood mushrooms, and pao de queijo. Their salad bar was loaded with tons of good meats, cheeses, and veggies (and yes, I filled up way too much on them before the meat came ). Can't believe you can get TDB delivered to your home. This is a great deal, especially if you're just looking to have one or two meats. My husband and I were able to get a pound of the filet mignon and a pound of the garlic potatoes for under $35. These days you pay that much for a decent steak for just one. This fed both of us for dinner and we had leftovers for lunch. When ordering online you can choose how you'd like your steak cooked. We chose medium rare and it came just as we ordered. Best bang for your buck. However if you want to try all of the meats you should definitely stop in. The salad bar alone is worth a visit. I made a reservation for 10 people tonight and from the moment our party was seated we were largely ignored while other tables surrounding us were continually served. We asked multiple times for service, and requested certain entrees (a customary action and something we have been asked to do in the past) but again, we're ignored. We noticed one of the other large tables next to us tipped the servers which then began a conga line of entrees to ONLY that table... when we attempted to speak with the manager we were met with an extremely rude attitude with a half apology for never receiving entrees 2+ hours into our reservation. While attempting to answer the manager's question I tried to explain our disappointment, I was told "I did not ask you that!" My wife and I decided to go to Texas de Brazil for the first time to experience the Brazilian Churrascaria yesterday. We were greeted by our server and apparently she had only been working there for a couple days. She gave us a brief description of the Brazilian Churrascaria and all sorts of meats that we were about to try. I ordered a Brazilian cocktail and my wife ordered a lemon drop martini, the drinks were actually really good. We made our way to the salad bar station and we experience that everything just looks so fresh and the station was really clean. Everything in the salad bar was delicious. Now, I noticed that there was very few of the Gauchos carving meats going around. It was really hard to track them down. Our server would just get lost and be gone for a short while and then come back later, But by that time we had already asked a lady that was busing the tables for stuff that we needed. She was really nice. We were able to try a few meats that we're available. I do believe that our server lacked experience and needed to be more attentive to her tables. The restaurant was not busy at all. We will definitely go back as we did enjoy the drinks and the food. But this time to make sure we get someone with a little bit more knowledge of the food and meats. read more

Meats were way over or undercooked never what we actually wanted. Asked for manager after one of the gauchos was rude as I didn't accept the piece of rubber he was trying to serve me. Waited 10 minutes to get rare meat then 15 more to get well. Finally after 45 minutes we got 4-5 pieces of what we actually wanted and by then my appetite was ruined. After 2 direct emails to them about this; and no response. I'm now posting here. I have been a loooong time client and have NEVER experienced such an awful experience. I understand it's Christmas, but I was also here for Thanksgiving and it was just as busy and still had a great experience on Thanksgiving. We had an 12:30 reservation. We showed up 10 minute late. I tried calling to let the location know, but no one EVER answers the phone there anymore. Then we had to wait another 20 minutes to be seated. There was literally people waiting outside down the steps to even get in because it was so backed up. Then we finally sit down and our waiter was actually just fine. He checked on us periodically. However, the meat to go around was like being a buzzard in the desert waiting for an animal to die. It was unbelievable. It was SO FAR AND FEW BETWEEN that I got full from from having so much time in between each time the meat guy came by. And it was mainly pork and chicken. Hardly any steaks etc... If I wanted chicken and pork. I could of made that at home. It was like y'all were low on meat that you hoped people would fill upon time instead of food. Definitely not $50 a heads worth. Cause I basically paid for just a salad bar at this point. You guys are usually sooooo on it food and service, that's it's almost overcompensating. (But, I would never complain about too good of service). The experience today was awful. I didn't say anything there because it wasn't the time; with it being Christmas. This was our first time at a restaurant of this nature and overall it was a good experience. We made a reservation on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. and when we arrived, there were only 2 other couples. The valet parked our car 10 yards away (‍) but was kind and quick. We were sat right at 5:00 p.m. Our waiter promptly greeted us and gave us glasses of water. We went to the salad area and got a small plate of salad, soup, and cheese. The soups were fantastic! Great selection of cheese and there was large bowl of bacon! Once the meats began to circulate, our plates were quickly filled. The bacon wrapped filet was AMAZING, as well as the House Special Steak! I wasn't a huge fan of the lamb options (probably because I just don't like lamb), the Parmesan Chicken, or the Pork Ribs. The experience felt a little rushed and stressful. It was hard to understand the associates' explanation of how the night was going to work, but we figured it out. I just had the worst experience ordering food to pick up and take home. I had $150 in gift cards to spend so I decided to pick up some food and bring home. I went on the Texas de Brazil website to order and there was a coupon code stating, "if you spend $25 you get a dozen cheese breads free". I tried from at home, but it wouldn't accept the code, so I decided to order TOGO at the restaurant instead. Once there I went thru the order and said that since I was spending $150+ I would get a dozen cheese breads for free. The manager said that the deal was only good online and not if I ordered the food at the restaurant. He told me I could order it on my phone right there, so I said OK. I taped in my order but when it came to paying it asked for my card number and exp. date. Well, the gift cards have a number but not an exp. date, so I called for the manager for help he then told me I couldn't pay for TOGO with gift cards I have to pay with credit instead. ????????????? Let me get this right....... I have $150 to spend in your restaurant but have to sit at a table to pay by gift card?????? He said he would talk to the other manager first. When he came back, he said I could use my gift cards to pay for my TOGO order but wouldn't get the free dozen cheese breads. I said OK I don't care about the bread any more just take my order. I got 2 plates $19 each and a feast for 4 people $76.00 plus other meats trying to reach $150. I sat and waited and finely my food was ready with the check. I opened the bags to check the order, and it had 3 plate orders in it, $60 worth of food that they are charging my $150 for. PLUS there was NO bread in the bag. The manager apologized and I waited some more. When he finely got back, we checked the order together to make sure it was right, and it was. The whole ordeal took 3 hours and finely I got home with the cold food too worked up to eat. So... if you have gift certificates for Texas de Brazil they can be used for dine in only. Came here for Restaurant Week but changed to the regular menu after we told a good amount of the regular menu was not part of Restaurant Week. It could not have been a worse experience. It started with a bartender who was inattentive and a bit on the rude side. From undercooked meats to a staff that was trying to rush us out the door (they asked if we were waiting on anything even though we'd only seen a quarter of the meat options) to an uncomfortable room with no music or ventilation, this experience disappointed on every level. I had a piece of filet that was supposedly medium-rare that I swear was still moving when it landed on my plate. Closing out at the end was an arduous process. I love Texas De Brazil but it was my first time at this location, it's really dark at your table so its hard to see the cuts of meat. Some of them were tasty and well prepared others were not. The salad bar is also pretty good with a great selection of items. The service on this particular visit was horrible. Our server never provided us with the "coin" to let them know when we wanted more meat. We asked for the filet mignon 4 times with 3 different people and never got it. Oh it finally arrived after we had dessert and got the check. Frustrating because that's why I come here, I love the filet. We spoke to the manager on duty and his reply was "oh I'm sorry you didn't get the filet" that was it lol Not expecting a free meal but something a little more than that would have been the right way to handle it.
