We came during their STK steak night. We upgraded to the dry aged porterhouse which was amazing. The filet was portion was really tender and the New York strip portion was also good. Salad was okay. The shrimp appetizer was good. For dessert, we did the apple pie. It was also very good. The place is really nice, beautiful interiors. Nice music playing and we appreciate that it was not too loud. We could still carry on a conversation. The service was okay but needs some minor improvement. read more

My husband surprised me with a dinner reservation at STK to celebrate our first Valentine's Day as a married couple. I came here 2 years ago for happy hour & enjoyed it so much I told myself I'd come back to try more of their menu, so I was excited to be able to finally do it. Aaron was our server. He was professional and upbeat the entire time. Due to the holiday there was quite a wait, so we spent a lot of time taking in the ambiance, vibing to the music & snapping photos. One thing I will give STK is there's always a place to get a good photo lol. When it comes to dinner I'm sad to say I was disappointed. I ordered the 10oz filet against my better judgement (initially wanted to get the $61 mushroom & truffle tagliatelle dish but opted out because I wanted to add steak, but was told we'd have to pay the full price for the steak as it wasn't possible to add it as a "side"). Sorry but no pasta in the world is worth $140. The steak was cooked to the desired temperature, but it had no flavor. I asked for the béarnaise sauce that I remember I loved from the happy hour steak & frites dish, but the consistency and flavor was nowhere close to what it was before. Aaron kindly suggested I switch it out for their peppercorn sauce, but that honestly was worse lol. The best part of my meal was my $21 SIDE of creamed spinach. My husband ordered the chicken entree with a side of mashed potatoes, and while it had good flavor the chicken was dry. Although the drinks, service & ambiance here are good, the dinner items aren't worth what you'll pay. Came for dinner with my friend and needless to say - I won't return. The restaurant sells itself as "upscale" but it's far from that. The service was terrible (still tipped), food not so good (extremely overpriced), and the dress code is very confusing (very, very casual). They offer valet ($10) and it's as expected. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly hostess; however, we had to wait for our table to be ready. Once we were seated, we ordered drinks and it took FOREVER to get a glass of wine and a cocktail (we had to ask the waiter if he remembered to enter them in). For dinner, I settled with a Cesar salad, crab cake, and mac n cheese. Everything was so bland - not even salt & pepper was added (I requested and added my own). I really like this establishment. It's esthetically pleasing and the food is delicious. They also have amazing customer service. I recall going when they first opened and it seems like things have been consistent. They are located downtown so you might be "forced" to do valet but the charge for valet isn't ridiculous. I came to this place with a group for a friend's birthday dinner. It was a Thursday night and there were not many other customers. The place is pretty big inside and has modern decor. There were 10 of us in the party and we all ordered wine and cocktails to start which came out fast and were good. We were told to order our starters and entrees at the same time. My husband and I got oysters which were as expected. Our friends got the cheesesteak egg rolls which were good and the potstickers were awesome. The crab cake was dry and disappointing. Considering it was dead my husband ordered steak frites as his main but they were out so he ended up getting the fried rice special which he enjoyed. I decided on the short rib which had great flavor and came with mash potato. Most of the party got steak which they all said were cooked well. We tried some of the sides, asparagus was good, the truffle fries were good but they brought them out way after the rest of the food. To finish instead of dessert the brought the whole party a tray of shots which I thought was a fun touch. The service was ok but the food took a while to come out even though it was quiet. Foodie Alert!! I recently had a chance to dine at STK for their All You Can Eat Sunday brunch, and I'm not going to lie--it was pretty good! With the bottomless brunch you will receive a bread basket, Caesar salad, and a charcuterie board within the bottomless brunch. For the main entrée, you'd receive chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, Cheesy Tots, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, and sausage! For the drinks, they offered coffee and orange juice. I also got the blueberry lemon drop, and it was so delicious! The service was very good. They were very attentive. We joked and laughed around with our server. The ambience, I must say it was nice, however, it was very, very, very, very empty inside of the restaurant. Honestly, it may have been only six tables max that were dining. I wish I could give negative stars. Came to STK Steakhouse for my son's birthday brunch and it was honestly a terrible experience. We ordered the "all you can eat" brunch, which supposedly includes salad and bread but those didn't come out until 50 minutes later (They were not busy at all they had 2 tables when we got there. Now I understand why they weren't busy), at the same time as the main course. By then, everything was ruined. The food that finally arrived was soggy and clearly had been sitting. The bread was soft and wet, not fresh at all. The charcuterie board was a joke literally just 4 small pieces of ham, and the bread was soaked from fruit juices. I didn't even eat. I was starving, this was supposed to be my breakfast, and I just couldn't bring myself to touch any of it. What should have been a special birthday brunch for my son turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. Poor timing, poor food quality, and zero attention to detail. The restaurant has a cool vibe. The old fashioned was good but the price is ridiculous. I ordered a 12 ounce steak but they said they were out, they only had the 14 ounce. That made no sense to me and it was $30 more so i feel like i was getting screwed over intentionally to spend more. So i went with lobster fried rice. It was delicious. All the sides were very good. I've been to steakhouses all around and i just don't see the value in this one restaurant to have prices the way they do and they were out of about 5 things we tried to order as a group. read more

Not sure if it's the ingredients or the way the food is prepared but it just seemed like any other steak joint to me. Just really overpriced for no reason. I will say the ambience was nice. If I could choose one word to describe this STK location it would be... EEEYUCK! This location has always been the most mediocre STK I've visited. And after my experience on Veteran's Day, they don't ever have to worry about me coming back. If I wasn't gainfully employed, I would make it my life's mission to get this place shut down (yes that's how much I don't like it here). Showed up at 4:30 for a 5pm reservation. Since we were early we ordered drinks to pass the time. It took 30 mins to get two drinks. We weren't seated until 5:45 (remember our reservation was at 5pm). The Veteran's Day special is $69 off entrees, amazing deal, too bad they were "out" of 90% of their entrees. That basically just left us with no choice but to order a la carte steaks and sides. We're hungry so whatever we order the steaks and sides. At 6:55 we asked for a manager because there no food In sight. The manager says the food will be a few more mins, no apologies, no offer to give us drinks or anything for the long wait. 7:03 food finally arrives. One of our steaks is severely undercooked, and the other steaks are just flavorless and underwhelming. The sides were even worse. After two bites we were over it and left. It's 7:15 now, we paid the valet for two cars at the same time. My friend's car shows up 10 mins later. You know what time my car shows up? 7:41!!!!! So let's recap, 30 mins to get drinks plus 45 mins to get seated plus 1 hour and 18 mins to get our food plus 26 mins to get my car. What does that equal? While the calamari was good and definitely flavorful, and I do understand it's happy hour, the portion was verrrryyyyy tiny. I expected more for $9 but enjoyed it nonetheless. Wait staff didn't have good communication, the table we were sat at had wood peeling off, the food was okay at best and EXTREMELY overpriced for what you get, especially to just use Hersey syrup for the donut hole dessert sauce. Don't go. STK is supposed to be an upscale steak house. I found it lacking. I went with a large group for appetizers and drinks. Admittedly, I didn''t pay for the first two drinks and the staff were pleasant and did a good job bringing our orders. As for the appetizers, I found them tasty but average. On the other hand, the drink prices are outrageous! For example I paid mote than $23 for a standard martini - the cost of an entree. Worse, I had to call a waitress to get the overprice martini. For an upscale restaurant competing with other high end restaurants, one would think service would be a way to compete. Not at STK. I chatted to others in the party for well over an hour and expected staff to pour fresh water and take away the used dishes. Never happened even though staff often hung out at the bar for several minutes at a time. By the way, our tables were in the bar area, so there is no excuse that the staff didn't see us or the mess on the table. We left about 8 PM and I counted only eight tables were occupied, about a third of the restaurant tables. Worse, I noticed that the number of staff out numbered the number of occupied tables. Don't purchase any gift cards as this place will likely be out of business in the next couple of months. Perhaps it's time to rethink the model. Either remake the restaurant as an upscale venue and compete with 5 Star service. Or reduce prices and compete through volume. At this point, I don't think this establishment will last. read more

I had already had a long hard day and was starving so I was not truly happy with the roll out & process of ordering food all at once as my server Ali explained we had to do without getting a starter first and more time to look over the menu which Everything feel a bit rushed and piled on. Who did he think I am!? A drug dealing scammer? LOL Also this place is ready to poison you with a large list of alcoholic beverages which they will give for free for your birthday instead of a dessert- Ali kindly compt our desert since we don't drink and had mocktails and water for the night. The chocolate cake was so cold and thick I'm glad I didn't order one for myself because it didn't look or taste as rich and moist as previous pix I saw. My friend said he Mac and cheese was bland, I tasted the Cheesy-ness in it, but wasn't really impressed with it overall. My "Cajun shrimp and lobster linguini" was OK... We both concluded we could season our dishes better at home though she did enjoy her beer battered fish and chips which we had to keep asking for extra tarter sauce as our ever so kind server seemed to keep forgetting. It's cute or whatever, but not worth the viral hype or price. there honestly cuter places with better bang for my buck, but hey at least now I know for myself what the name Is all about ...an overpriced experience. No point in making reservations if you're going to get seated an hour and a half later. The only good thing was the calamari! Well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The service started off doing well but it declined. The main entrees were NY strips. The sides my guest and I selected were corn pudding and cream spinach. The sides were decent. The corn pudding could have been more firm. It had the sweet taste but missed on the pudding form. The cream spinach was just what it was, nothing spectacular. Now let's get to the steak. Who serves steak without a knife and sharing sides without spoons? We asked out waiter for a knife and spoons and it took a minute. I really believe he forgot until, I starred him from across after I see him and other servers talking group photos while the restaurant is swamped. This is when I was over the experience. Once, he noticed he quickly brought the knife but stated the spoons will be out shortly because "more had to be washed." Now it was time for them to redeem themselves with the awaiting taste for steak. Cool temperature (due to waiting for a knife), Complete fail, utterly disappointed. Very tough, lack of seasoning, the $12 piece of butter on top didn't even help. I've had better steak at Logan's and Longhorn. And to top it off, the drinks were mediocre. I've been here a few times in the past. The decor is charming when you walk in, perfect for photos, and they seem busy with reservations. Because we had about 4-5 groups waiting to be seated and we were 15 minutes early, this was the first experience that was not so great. The staff was showing their annoyance on their faces, you could overhear a little their conversation, the service was slow for drinks to arrive after ordering, even slower to get the bread that the chef asked us if the meal was ready, thinking we were done eating, only to realize we hadn't gotten anything other than water at our table. He apologized and told us he would get someone to bring us some bread shortly after we got it. But an even lengthier wait just for the drinks ordered by the time we got them, our appetizers were already at the table. During the meal, there was another long wait for the drink, and our server didn't even check whether we wanted another one. And our 2nd drink came after the meal, but she let us know twice she was checking on the drink, or she would bring the drinks. The server was friendly and nice, but she could have had too many tables, it was a busy night, or she was tired. But this experience wasn't the best I've had in the past, and I was having dinner with family from out of town. The service was great, however, Jesse, the bartender, was exceptional! I had such an incredible time. The waiters Chris, Yosan, and Austin worked well together and were all so knowledgeable and courteous. They were very attentive and they all kept us updated and checked in periodically without feeling like we were left alone. Every question I had they answered and Andrea is an amazing Manager. I had the pleasure of interacting with her and she's so sweet. The food was amazing and I love the potatoes, steak, mac & cheese, spinach, jalapeño shrimp tower, and the donuts. We are back!!!! Let's start out with having dinner reservations for 8:30pm and having to wait almost an hour to be seated. It was a Saturday night and it was super packed. We finally got seated and ordered our drinks and they brought out some pull apart bread. I ordered the Unchained Passion. That drink packed a lot of power and was delicious. I ordered the crab cake and the Maine lobster Mac & Cheese. It took some time again for our food to be served but complimentary shots were given as everyone waited. When the food did come I had no complaints because everything was delicious. For our troubles we did get a complimentary bag of donuts which hit the spot. Of things to note if it's a party of over five only one check is made for the table.
