Overall, I had a great dining experience. My issue began when I tried to use my VIP 25% off reward. This is the second time I've been unable to redeem a reward, which is very frustrating. Today is Friday, and the reward terms state that it cannot be used on Saturdays or holidays. However, my waiter told me that the manager said it was not valid on weekends. That is not what the stated restriction says. Please make sure your managers and staff are aware of the actual terms and conditions of the rewards program so customers receive consistent information. I paid my bill and went on my way, but I signed up for the VIP program and continue visiting because of the rewards. The caipirinha was delicious, at first sip or taste a little bit like tequila but it's so much better. Let's start with the salad and hot bar: The white rice, black beans and potatoes au gratin were delicious: the lobster bisque was also a fan favorite. There are lots to choose from on the salad bar to accompany your meats. The meats: The bacon wrapped chicken, churrasco, filet and spicy steak were the best! The lamb was gamey and not my thing! Their was another steak that had great flavor but was grissly. Pace yourself because they come out fast and furious and by the time the bring the good stuff you are already full. I would have liked to see the meat option on a menu before they started coming out. That way I knew to wait. The service was good until you had been there for awhile they stop checking on you after awhile. It felt like they were hoping we would finish and leave. But overall our server was good. I came here for Valentine's Day dinner with my boyfriend and while I understand it was going to be super packed during my visit. It took forever to get any meats to come around our table and all that was left was overcooked pieces which did not taste good. The drinks were yummy though we got the Caipirinha, Sangaria and the coffee dessert drink. This place has gone down hill so much. We used to go here all the time. It used to be our goto for our anniversary every year. Last year we went and the servers never came over to any tables so it turned us off about going back. We wanted to see how it would be for a back up anniversary date. This was just as bad. We had to ask for all the meats we wanted. When the meats came they were either over cooked or at the end of the piece so very dry. The staff just stood in the back like we couldn't see them. Our table server was nice, we never got bananas or mashed potatoes, idk if they don't do that anymore, but we never got them. The place was mostly clean, seemed the temperature of the buffet was a bit off. One of my favorite items on the Buffett is the scalloped potatoes, they were pure liquid. I was so sad. Texas de Brazil has become one of our spots to celebrate birthdays or to just get out of the house and enjoy a good salad. A lot of people were hanging out by the entrance when we arrived and the parking lot was packed but handicap spots were available. Our party was already seated when we arrived so the friendly hostess greeted us and we went directly to the table. Waitress came over right away to get our drink order. I opted for the dragonfruit margarita which was limited time. It was absolutely delicious. I then proceeded to the salad bar with an array of choices from prosciutto, shrimp, salmon, etc. The chimicurri sauce paired well with the all you can eat grilled meats carved tableside. The Parmesan chicken was deliciously juicy, lamb was dry and the flank steak was perfection. Some of the meats were seasoned with a bit too much salt. The flan with ice cream was a sweet treat to end our dinner along with Amarula cream liqueur our waitress was enthusiastic about. The liqueur was a bit more potent than Baileys or Irish run cream so I poured some of it over the flan and ice cream to give it a little razzle dazzle. Parmesan Drumettes (must have been cooked three days ago. Chicken was so dry that you couldn't even cut it off the bone). Brazilian Sausage, (editable but dry). Skirt Steak ( it was still mooing, completely raw). Flank Steak (another cooked steak from three days ago). Just horrible. All of us were so disappointed. When my plate was picked up from the waitress, I told her that the food was terrible, it was not her fault but the kitchen staff and manager needs to know. Waitress was a delight and very understanding. The manager came to my table and I told him just how bad the food was. His response was "Oh, so sorry to hear this. I love the different kinds of picanha here! I recommend picanha to the ones who love a good portion of fat with their meat. I love it when the fat has a crisp to it and the meat is medium raw. That's what I call good eating! My other dinner companions preferred leaner meat with less fat. We all enjoyed ourselves and had a lot to eat. I filled up my plate with all the different picanha and rice. My favorite picanha was the spicy one, and the least favorite was garlic, although I'd still have it, but not as much as the other picanha. This may be TMI but the ladies room toilet was way too low, & I'm not old. Seriously, toddler low. So, the food. Even lunch is expensive here so one wants to eat a lot of meat - but it wasn't coming around as often as we would have liked. We never saw any pork. While the flavor was great on the beef, 2 of the 3 I tried were very tough, chewy. My MIL is from Brazil so I've had authentic black beans - here, they were similar to Goya's black bean soup. Aside from the delicious crusty sliced bread from the food bar, it was all just meh. Everyone I know has been here and I'm glad I can say I finally went, but sadly, I won't be back. Our first time visiting this establishment and I must say it wasn't what I envisioned it to be. I would have never guessed this restaurant to be a buffet style type of restaurant. The salad buffet was decent, there were a variety of cheeses and hams that paired well with the salad. The meats were good, most of them were medium rare and not to my choice. Those that were closer to medium well or well done that I did have had good flavoring and tasted well. I did feel rushed and overwhelmed as one after another meat cutter came by our table. Four of us met here for dinner recently, and we had an exceptional dining experience from end-to-end! All of us being meat-lovers, we found the variety of juicy and succulent meats and steaks delicious and delightful. Without a request to the contrary, they bring most of the cuts done either medium or medium-well. That said, one of our number likes their meat well-done, and our servers had no problem accommodating his preference :-) Service is excellent - all the staffers were attentive, polite, and expert. They provide a small "stop/go" disc to allow diners to control the flow of meat offerings. By default, the gauchos will stop at your table as they stroll by with their offerings on skewers, but if you flip the disk to the "Red/Stop" side, they'll give you time to eat what you have without offering new cuts of meat. The ambiance is clean and classy. My only complaint is that the experience would be augmented if the tables were a bit bigger, as a couple of plates for each diner starts to get pretty crowded in short order. To sum it all up, this place provides a great meal for true Carnivores. While it's by no means inexpensive, the dining experience is exceptional and worth every penny :-) read more

This is not our first time going to this location. It will be our last though.. start off normal asking us if we've been there before and we said yes and they asked what temperature we liked our meet and we told them. After a trip to the salad bar, we waited patiently, however, it was like they were avoiding our table. I had to flag down the gaucho like I was hailing a taxi.. we had to ask our server for bread and plantains. They normally bring out without having to ask. The meat was underwhelming and poorly season. It was just a recurring theme throughout the night that the service was gonna suck and we'd have to ask for anything that we wanted. We waited patiently and finally had to ask for a check because they weren't even offering dessert even though we were celebrating two birthdays.. once we got our check they tried to overcharging us by adding an additional person to our bill. They also did not charge the child's meal correctly and while my wife was pointing it out, the manager was asking you a 12 year-old how the service was and how we enjoyed our meal while my wife was explaining to the server how they messed up our bill. top bottom they made this birthday celebration atrocious if you do go there lower your expectations. read more

Texas de Brazil seems to have gone downhill since our last visit. As you can see from my original review, we loved this place. Our experience tonight was very disappointing. Maybe it was just an off night, but the service and the food were both not up to par. We barely saw our server even though she visited other tables multiple times. We were sat right next to the cash registers and we are thinking that may be why we seemed to only have the same meats coming to our table. We only had about four different meats come to our table the entire time. The selection left a lot to desire and the meats were all extremely fatty and burnt. The cheesy bread was not soft or warm like we remembered. The price has increased since we have been here and the quality did not match. It's definitely saddening because this was one of our favorite places that we were excited to return to but we will have to find a new Brazilian steakhouse to try. read more

I've been to many Texas de Brazil locations and this experience didn't measure up - at all - to any I've had in the past. The food was delicious, when it was around, but the service was deplorable. Where the bill for 4 is over $250 and the standard is a 20% tip, I would have expected to be visited regularly, not have to continuously request meat, never be offered a clean plate (look how much fat was on mine!), and to be the only birthday in the restaurant not to get a candle.
