First time at Texas de Brazil and while there is a $66 per person all you can eat option - be ready for a bill that will far exceeds that. What you are paying for is ambience, excellent service all the way around and food that is delicious. You do get what you are paying for here. I will say that, however if you are not a meat eater, this is not the place for you. Martina was our server and she was excellent. This is a good spot for families, Date night or an evening out with friends. I would not recommend an alone meal here.

Doing his review a little too late. Unfortunately I forgot the servers name but kudos to service. She was great. Place is huge. Plenty of space plenty of tables and large gates now I've been to the one in Canada and they have a way better. salad bar, but a lot more meats and fish and different things. I had a bowl of lobster soup, mobster, bisque, and a good taste a little peppery, which is fine, but no chunks of lobster so that was a little disappointing. You're always wanting a little chunkier in there. Overall, all the meat was really good except for one was very fatty and grainy and I forgot which one that was it the lamb chops were awesome.

I've been a patron of Texas de Brazil for the better part of 10 years. I frequent the Yonkers location, which is situated in Ridge Hill mall. Not far from NYC, this location gives the illusion of being on vacation, even though you are minutes from NYC and right off the highway. THE GROWS: The last few times I went there, there wasn't the variety of meat that there usually is. They kept coming around with the same items. The price has doubled from the original cost. I expect prices to go up, but not as drastically as it did. There are no seafood items, other than chilled spicy shrimp at the market table. This is a carnivore-only venue. THE GLOWS: The preparation of the various meats is always spot-on. Not too salty, not too bland. There are many places that portay themselves as Brazilian steakhouses with market tables, nut none compare to the one at the Texas de Brazil locations. Two notable items are their potato salad and their blue cheese dressing. WOWSER. They have a variety of specialty cocktails and they also have a selection of nonalcoholic drinks (my favorite is their passion fruit lemonade!) Two pieces of advice: It is really easy to fill up on the market table items, then you won't want as much meat--which is what you are paying for. Go easy on the market table and pace yourself with the meat. Save room for dessert. Their coconut pie is DIVINE! This is a must-try when in the Yonkers area. Be sure to make a reservation.

So I think I personally may not like the Brazilian steakhouses...any of them. So my kids bought me here for Sunday dinner. The restaurant itself is very nice. The decor looks high end ...nothing feels like a chain restaurant here. The waitstaff came with their A game. The servers had a very consistent rotation...you never were left waiting for food. Compared to other establishments like this their cold and hot bar had a nice variety. So here is the thing....me review is based on my experience , service, and also how it compares to it's well known competitor. I personally do not care for this style of food BUT compared to other places this food/meat actually tasted seasoned and was very fresh. So I am giving then a true 3.5. I think they should have a menu of meat options so you know what to expect. I will also note the drinks did not disappoint. Will I go back...No....do I recommend you to go...Yeah.

This place gets Brazilian Chorizo right. We picked the place to meet up friends for all you can eat dinner on a Monday evening. We reserved a table to avoid any surprises. Upon arrival we found the restaurant was packed. There's a huge bar in front. Lots of sitting area near the salad bar. We started with some the popular Brazilian themed drinks. Those came out very quickly. Within minutes Chorizos started coming over as well. I counted 14 different types of meats that we were offered throughout the night. Most of them were properly cooked, not burned or under cooked. Lamb, and several types of steaks were my favorite. They all had good seasoning. The salad bar also had lots of variety. There were veggies, fruits, cheese, beans, rice and lots of dressings. Finally we ended with some flan and key lime pie cake. I was super full by the end of the dinner. Was super impressed with the food and the service. This would be my preferred Chorizo place in the area for some time.

Amazing experience in TDB. High variety of meat and the flavor is wonderful. They also have different dipping sauces you can try. The salad bar, soup and dessert are great. The waiters come frequently to the table to serve the food. I absolutely love that no waiting between meats. Classic and elegant design in the restaurant. Lots tables are here for birthdays. I definitely recommend this restaurant for family/friends gatherings. Everyone can find what they want to eat!

Yummy food, great service. Lovely time with my children

Truly, everything was better than expected. The buffet was clean, the salad crisp, all the items in the buffet bar were filled and easy to reach and most importantly really pretty good. The only thing is everything is terribly salty so take note if that's a problem for you. The mashed potatoes are the most salty as is most of the steak offerings. The chicken is wrapped in bacon so maybe that can be removed. Otherwise it wasn't too loud and it was packed on a Sunday night. Dillon our waiter was very thoughtful, albeit sometimes MIA. The hostesses were helpful as well because we were celebrating a birthday and arrived with a cake.

Wow where do I begin with the recent 1 star reviews? Your spoiled? Uptight with family issues? Cheap? All of the above? I w. Wen dining in this chain fr many many years and the food is always 10/10,Never ever had a issue with staff. The gauchos especially always try to accommodate the customers. Those reviews are trash and most of them opened a Yelp account because they want to trash an excellent establishment. They should go to longhorn or a Chinese buffet. The ambience here is incredible even when it's busy. Stand out items for me Lamb chops Petit filet Filet Bacon filet Beef rib Flank steak I try to avoid the excellent salad bar aside from condiments as I want to fill up on meat because that's why you are here. PS I always see the gauchos interacting with the diners, taking group shots etc.. leave you attitude at home Come craving meat!!!!

The owner was very gracious and offered us six complementary oysters since we couldn't sit at the bar. The oysters weren't our favorite that evening, the rest of the meal more than made up for it. The rest of the meal was very enjoyable. The crab cake was enormous, the grilled octopus was excellent - my son loved it - and the veal with prosciutto and melted cheese was tasty. The baked potato was huge and cooked perfectly. I ordered a cocktail and they made me one with elderflower which was nice but a little sweet for my taste. My friend's Manhattan was nice and strong. What stood it the most was the hospitality. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience, and that level of service is sobering we really appreciated. Next time we'll probably make it an adult only happy hour so we can enjoy the bar menu.

We ordered the porterhouse, creamed spinach, calamari, baked clams, the jumbo baked potato, and some pasta. The porterhouse was perfectly seasoned, and it was enough for three people to share. Whatever sauce the baked clams were doused in, I need that recipe. I used the complementary bread to soak up some of that juice and it was amazing. Their espresso martinis were also really good and strong. The only thing I did not like was the jumbo baked potato. It just felt like there was Velveeta cheese slathered on top, so if there's an item I would pass on, it would be this one. Just get regular mashed potatoes. The service was amazing. The owner came out to meet with us multiple times. Our waiters were very attentive and gave us ample time to order. They literally cut our meat and served it for us. The ambience was really nice. It's your usual steakhouse joint, with dim lighting. However, the best part about this dinner was that they seated us in a private room with one other party. It was very intimate and nice and I don't think I could've asked for better service. The cherry on top was that they came out with limoncello shots to end the night. If you're in the Westchester area, please definitely come check this place out. It is worth the money, time, and effort. You will not be disappointed.

Pop music, pops of black on the walls, TV screens behind and above the bar- so that almost every seat has a good view, a noticeable bar and those wood-slab walls. You know the look. The last time hubs and I were in this space was about 10 yrs ago, when it was Sammy's, so walking into Urban H. and getting hit with their urban-industrial-sports bar feel caught me a little off guard. No offense. Since hubs and I are getting settled into our other home in Westchester, dining out has been our friend. The young ladies here did well. From the moment we walked in until we headed out, everyone was pleasant, welcoming and attentive. We started with the calamari which was tender. Like really tender. Not a rubber band in sight. But where were the tentacles?! Those crispy little tangled things are half the reason hubs and I order calamari and sadly, there wasn't even one. Hubs went with a canned hard lemonade. It was refreshing but it was missing at least a little oomph especially if it's called "hard lemonade". My salmon dinner was beautifully prepared on parsnip puree with sautéed broccoli rabe and a pomegranate sauce. I totally get my dish was going for that savory/sweet mix- but that pomegranate sauce kind of sent my dinner slightly off keel for me. Hubs, loved his pork chop though with sautéed spinach and...white rice.¯\(ツ)/¯. We ordered the "mango" sorbet but it tasted more like lemon and it you had blindfolded me and asked me to tell you the flavor, mango would not have made my first guess. However, I'm happy to report that I dined here recently and had a better experience. Since the time of my initial review, La Casa remained in my periphery - mainly because my parents periodically visited and it was a frequent stop of one of my friends who lives in Bronxville. That being said, I was curious to check out La Casa again - and that opportunity came when my mother chose here to celebrate Mother's Day. La Casa is located just off the main commercial strips. The interior is pretty spacious with a bar towards the front of the restaurant and the main dining room split in two sections. The decor is somewhat under-toned with a cool color scheme and tasteful decor. This is in contrast with other Mexican restaurants that tend to go overboard with the kistch and warm colors. I will say the seats look a little tired, they could use some re-upholstering - and were a little lower to the ground than I expected. In addition to the indoor space, they have an outdoor section which was done up very nicely. The brunch menu contained a selection of apps, sides, quesadillas, tacos, and sides. We decided to start by splitting a few apps: brisket and al pastor tacos, a quesadilla, street corn, chips and guac, and more guac with tuna. All the apps were tasty - the biggest standouts for me were the quesadilla and the tacos which were all generously filled and had good flavor. For my main, I got the camarones a la diabla which were shrimp in a red pepper sauce placed atop beans and paired with bok choy. The dish was pretty good - the shrimp could have been a bit snappier, but I appreciate that they de-shelled them and the sauce and beans worked well with them. Dare I say the bok choy was the star of the dish? It had just enough flavor and added a needed green. We opted for dessert, and I got the grilled pineapple which was paired with (per the menu) vanilla ice cream or guanabana sorbet. I wasn't asked to choose, and was served the sorbet. I would have liked to have been given the option, but maybe that's all they had - fwiw the sorbet was good. The pineapple was candied and came as a large, thick ring - definitely needed a knife and fork to cut it up (which they provided); this was a good dish in concept but I think it can be executed better. Service was good, everyone was friendly and efficient. In my experience, service tends to be the weakest component of a meal on a holiday, but they did a great job. Overall, I had a good experience at La Casa. Even though it's not in my backyard, I would definitely return if the opportunity presented itself.

Now everything is cooked together so make sure to specify if you have any allergies ! But over all it was great and I would definitely come back again to try the table side . If you're in the area pop in for a show and some eats you wont be disappointed . Happy eating

This was a phenomenal light early dinner we ended together after a day of school shopping. I have…read moreone going to college and the other one no longer a freshman in High School. We were exhausted and decided to get us a meal that would not be to overwhelming. We were greeted by our awesome sever, who was really sweet and also a female, just saying it fit the script in this moment! It was an all girls day! We decided to just do the other side of the restaurant, because we didn't want to go for the hibachi. Beautiful restaurant. Love the decor and the way the bar was out in the open you could see them making your drinks. We decided we wanted some sushi and a couple of sides. We enjoyed everything. It was so good and plentiful. My lobster roll was fresh and tasty, and the potstickers were really good, light and crispy but and had a good amount of meat. My cocktail was so refreshing not to mention I added some lychee soda to give it a bit more of a spritz vibe. So good! The fries were ok, we did enjoy that they were crispy but it lacked the truffle Parmesan flavor. Both girls enjoyed their rolls and were satisfied with the overall meal. I was really happy not to leave stuff because it still was pretty hot outside and with the heat and being full is not a comfortable feeling. I think with the hibachi side and the side we dined, this place would be perfect for social gatherings or celebrations. I will definitely make another visit. Thumb up for me! Happy Yelping!
