Everything is salty. We were all grabbing for the water during and after the meal. This was not the first time coming to this location and I don't recall the meats being over-seasoned as it was this time around. My go-to is the beef ribs and lamb chops. You can always ask the waiters for a list of meats or check the online website to get a general list of what's available. For the price, the meat variety is definitely lacking. You can sign up for their coupons and deals. I've also seen some Groupon/LivingSocial deals in the past. The salad selection is "huge" for the meat eaters but it's not a wide selection if you are just eating from the salad bar. *Edit in response to comment from TdB* It looks like you can ask for less/no salt. On July 3rd, 2022, my colleague surprised me and took me to this restaurant in Yonkers. Let me tell you from the time we walked in, we were treated like VIP! The place's ambiance is exquisite, we were met by Lupa, who sat us immediately. You are told to go to the salad bar and baby it had everything you could think of from lox, all kinds of cheeses, mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, lettuce, broccoli, shrimp, rolls, different soups, whew I'm getting full thinking about it. Once you gather up your salad and sit down you are given directives on how the young men are going to come around to the table and cut different types of meat. Once you are full and can't take it anymore you hold up your circle on the red side of the card to stop the service. Our waiter was Alphonso and he was kind and delightful, but the icing on the cake was the Head Carver-Fabio. He would come to the table often to check on you to see if your meat was cooked well and if it was too rare, he made sure you were given the steak the way you wanted it. I felt like a Queen! Did I mention you can eat until you can't and how beautiful the decor is with a rust and red hue and large center piece in the middle of the restaurant. The bathrooms are just as pretty and they smell divine. Listen, I could go on and on about this place but you need to check it out for yourself. I ate here with my family recently. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. What was spectacular, the bill. It cost $170 for three people, two adult and a child. I don't eat red meat, so I had 2 shrimp and a little piece of chicken with some salad. They made no allowance for this. Outrageously overpriced, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. What a disappointment! We chose this place to celebrate my Stepmothers birthday since it has something for everyone. The food was pretty good but the service was terrible. Our waiter Keith was rude the entire time. He never asked to take drink orders, he filled half of the tables water glasses, threw straws and napkins on the table and once the bill came...he got worse. It's hard to take pictures/videos of food while you're stuffing your face with food lol. So I never really care for places that are dimly lit, but eh. So it seemed like a clean place. Servers are friendly. Signed up for their deals and was able to use a $20 off coupon. That's a plus. The price is decent for the selections, you get unlimited meat and there's an open salad bar. Salad bar-I could do without. They bring out one small plate of garlic mashed potatoes(good but not enough) and fried sweet bananas(Eh-more than enough) I didn't enjoy all the meats but a few stood out like their sausages and Pork ribs-although the skin to the ribs were tough the meat inside was tender and tasty. My first time here I was treated to a early fathers day dinner, the place was beautiful I had the all you can eat meat and salad bar w/ happy hour caipirinha. My waiter was very friendly and attentive and when the two managers found out it was my families first time at the restaurant they both came out and asked if we enjoyed everything. SO DISAPPOINTED! Ive been coming here since 2013 I believe. This is our go to restaurant for special occasions. Yesterday at around 8pm, I came with a group of 6 for dinner for my birthday. Didn't make a reservation but that didn't seem to be a problem. Was seated right away. Our server came to our table right away to greet us and take our drink orders which everything seemed great. After getting our food from buffet, the guys with the meat started coming to our table but that didn't last for long. This specific guy kept coming to our table offering us lamb but since we aren't really a fan of lamb we kept saying no thank you. I noticed he came out the kitchen with a different type of meat and would go to other tables but ignore us. I was like ok he'll come back some time again. But this guy wasn't the only guy ignoring us, it was most of them. Our waiter kept coming to our table to check on us and I will tell him that we are good but just waiting on more meat. We even had the chip in green the whole time and barley any1 came to our table. One of our group members was saying that maybe because it was almost closing time, they weren't taking out alot of meat but my husband and I were facing the kitchen and we were seeing many of them coming out with meat but going to different tables. There was a table right next to us that their plates were FULL of meat. Its like they were getting some type of special treatment because mostly all the guys were just going to that table. We waited very patiently until my husband had enough and asked one of the guys that were passing by our table with meat and didn't even offer us, if he can please have some meat. We felt ignored and we were still hungry. Basically we payed over $500 for 3 drinks and buffet food with a few pieces of meat. Not worth it at all!! Service has gone waaayyy down hill. I was warmed by friends not to come before hand and they were right, I would never come back to this restaurant again. Our server was great but the food and management was not. I booked this place because I had received a gift card over the holidays and it was restaurant week. So I booked it. When I got the bill they charged me full price. They said I had to explicitly state that I was here for that prior to being seated. What difference does it make? It's one price. So that just means that if someone didn't know about the deal they would have just been ripped off. Then I gave the manager my gift card and credit card for the difference. She said I can't use the gift card with the promotion. Since where is there a rule as to when you can and can't use to gift card? She's like well your gift card is discounted. I'm supposed to know that? It's a gift! Hence gift card. Now I'm stuck with a gift card for a place I would never come back to or recommend to anyone else. The food was ok, it was kinda salty. The cocktails had no alcohol in it. When the server asked, I told her that and she just apologized. I know it's not her fault as she doesn't mix the drinks. Terrible management. Where to begin with the Yonkers location. We just had a small get together with 15 people in October 2023. When we arrived 13 out of 15 people were there. unfortunately, two were stuck in traffic. I understand the restaurant wants to seat the entire party together but unfortunately, sometimes, travel delays us beyond our control. I requested our party be sat and even offered to both the hostess and the manager to pay for the two temporary empty chairs. But our group was met with nothing but a condescending tone and disrespectful remarks. The manager Alex was willing to jeopardize a group of 15 over two people which we offered numerous times to pay for and who were on the way. That set the precedent for the entire evening. When we finally sat, they did not give a minute to enjoy the market table, they bombarded the area with the rotational selection (even before drinks were brought out). It was unnecessarily overwhelming and did not give the guests an opportunity to enjoy their food. Now there is a two hour limit, because of the rotational selection of food which is completely understandable. What is not understandable is when they stop serving for 20 minutes and that cuts into your two hours. But not only was there such a delay in bringing the rotational selections around. They also just kept coming with the same item. We had to request two or three times for different items to be brought around when they should be doing that on their own. So, between the delay in rotational selections and requesting different food, selections be brought around the two hours went by very quickly. After having dessert and right at the two hour mark, another manager came in and informed us that our time was up and that they needed to clean our area. We have been at this location numerous times but unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning. Myself and our group have never felt so rushed and disrespected at a restaurant till that night. I had a great experience here about year ago. Last night, something was off. I'll give them a little break because it was a Monday and there were only nine other tables. Maybe the meat sits longer and maybe the kitchen scales back. I get it. Unfortunately, most of us ended up with plates of half eaten steak that was dry, overcooked, and too salty to enjoy. The wait here is ridiculous even with prior reservation, the main way to get seated is by complaining as if you were not paying for your services. When I asked to speak to the manager "Mr. Michael" gave me a blank look as if could really care less. Well where can i start, i went to this restaurant or at least i tried on april 11 on a rainy day with my kids and mother in law for her birthday! When i got there the door was shut, even though there was activity inside and people where being served, thats weird why the door is shut I didn't understand, but I knocked on the door and some dude white tall guy who i think was the manager, he says to me why are you knocking dont you see the sign on the door,you have to wait outside he says , how rude, but i ignored that and i waited even though it was raining outside and i was with 2 small kids, the hostess comes after 10 minutes and asked us if we had a reservation which i had, but when i made a reservation i made one by mistake i put the state of Kansas instead of NY, the hostess says that she cant honor it because its in kansas, even though i told her that i made for ny! why would i make it for kansas if i am here, she proceeded to go to that manager who looked annoyed that i was with small children, and then she comes back and says they dont have room for me. My whole life i havent felt so embarrassed and treated like garbage until this moment, its disgusting how that manager and that hostes reacted to us trying to dine and potentially spend at least $300 or more, well its their loss and i will tell everyone i know that service sucks there from manager to hostess and that usually trickles down. They say if the head of the fish stinks, the whole fish stinks! I would never even step foot on this establishment and also the people i know. read more

I tried this place with a couple of friends impromptu because it was one of those days you crave red meat for some reason. The place was not too crowded because it was a weekday. We were seated inside and were informed about how the dining works by a very nice server. We started with some appetizer and then moved to the meat I thought the meat selection was decent. They were not off the chart but it was reasonable. At least I was satisfied with how picanha tasted. I should say however, that I would still prefer fogo if I have to choose one. read more

They need a better system. Let's start by saying AMAZING! We made a 9 pm reservation we were greeted once we arrived by both bartenders and hostesses. We waited for 5-7 minutes until the host at us , all the servers were polite and welcoming as well as all the meat cutters. Our server Luis was awesome he was so attentive and helpful elaborating the restaurants background from the house special (Leblon cachàca), meat selection , fresh bar, wines by the bottles to wines by the glass and dessert he convinced all of us to try the house special and take some Togo . The salad bar was very clean , neat and had a wide selection of fresh salads , cheeses, rice and even lobster broth my favorite . You can keep getting up to have seconds and thirds from the bar and ask for a fresh plate once you want to try something different . The meat cutters were very enthusiastic and if they brought by a temperature that wasn't your choice they would come right back to accommodate you. I appreciate that Luis didn't rush through anything and we didn't feel like he wanted to wrap his table up. I love how everyone was given a card with a green side to signal the meat cutters you wanted more or you can flip the card to the red side to signal you had enough. I will definitely recommend to not eat so much from the salad bar to be able to enjoy the different slices of meat from lamb chops, BBQ ribs, sirloin steak, Parmesan chicken or Parmesan steak . The list of meat selections was endless and truly satisfying. Next time I come back I will definitely request Luis again as my server because his service was outstanding ! read more

Each year, the weekend of October 22, my daughter, brother, and I share a birthday celebration memorializing their birthdays on this weekend. Typically, we all go out for the evening. On this particular occasion, we decided to revisit this restaurant after I celebrated my birthday there this past July, 2016. Naturally, my revisit was initiated by the quality of the food being served as well as the prompt and friendly service. On three visits, we had two bottles of wine at each setting which netted a bill in excess of $300.(not counting the beverages consumed at the bar while we waited for our tables.) Hey, it's a night of celebration for two great people that I love and care deeply for. So, keeping "tabs" on the bill was off the table. On this celebratory evening, we were very disappointed by the clandestine maneuvering of the wait staff who file in cadence from the cooking area with the rotisseried meats. What was well noted by my brother Joe and I was the grossly over salted carnivore's samplings that left the kitchen. Now get this, during two prior visits, when we were offered meats, they were seasoned to perfection. The temperature of the meats offered to us were as expected. However, as we consumed a second and third helping, the meats were getting saltier and saltier to the point where we did not want to eat anymore. I decided to complain to the wait staff who promptly summoned the manager to our table. She listened to our complaint and casually and professionally replied " Oh, you want No Salt on the meats." She then instructed the waiter to accommodate our request. Mission accomplish you say, not so fast! This detailed yelping is a stern warning to all who patronize this establishment. If you go to the beginning of this bloating experience, you would have noted that this was our third visit to this restaurant. Interestingly, the same identical dining experience was had by all three of us on each and every visit. Maybe some yelpers believe in coincidences but I truly believe that something nefarious has been taking place so that guests limit their consumption of meats,(the pricier item served), at this restaurant. In summary, swollen hands, difficult to remove socks, dry mouth, and high blood pressure shouldn't be paired with a celebratory experience and definitely shouldn't be a part of an expensive dinner. Damn.., just say "thank you-see you again soon" and keep your salt crystals to yourself. read more

This place is terribly run and they don't care. Service was horrible. We had a group of 10. We couldn't get more water until I searched for someone. Soup at salad bar was cold, almost empty and not refilled when I checked toward end of meal. They didn't give plates out so you were served on your dirty salad plate. All the meats they had were not brought to our table. No menus or info on what is included, like dessert, or the cost.. They brought a 2nd bottle of wine we didn't order and served it when my husband was in the bathroom. They also were sneaky and posted a total before an adjustment for birthday cake to get a higher tip. I have tried to discuss with a manger but they don't return calls. read more

I had been craving to go to a Brazilian steakhouse after having tried one in Connecticut. This place was super close to where I live and has always looked interesting to me so I booked for 6 at 930p. I figured we were lucky to find a table because I always see that it's booked up. Immediately upon our reception, the hostess was having a conversation with another employee and very dismissively said "I'll be with you in a minute". A little embarrassing, but hey I figured maybe the conversation was really important. 15 minutes after my reservation (when they tell you they will cancel it if you're not there), our table still wasn't ready. When she did attempt to take us there the first time, they were still working on clearing out our table, and she apologized saying "Sorry guys they told me it was ready but they need about 5 more minutes"(poor communication amongst the team members). At this point it was almost 950pm when we got to sit (20 minutes after our reservation). It probably wouldn't have been so bad except I had skipped dinner to have dinner here so I was kinda hungry and so was my group. We went to the buffet and sat, waited about another 15 minutes before our waiter came by to introduce himself and apologize for the late greeting, saying he hadn't been told he had our table (more poor communication between the team). We ordered our drinks, which our waiter recommended and stated they were having a special on, 5 bucks for a small, 10 for a large. You guys may have guessed this already, but the meat servers had not come to our table at all during this time though we saw them continue going to adjacent tables (not sure if being sat right behind the buffet may be a bad seating choice). Our waiter asked us to notify him if we weren't being given any meat, to which we told him no one had come by to that point. Another 10 minutes went by before we finally started being offered meat. I wanted the lamb the most. Guess what never made it to my table?? If you guessed lamb (any kind), you would be correct! About 20 minutes after seeing our waiter, he returned to tell us they ran out of sugar, which is required for the syrup in our drinks. He said the bartenders were working on making more and asked us to be patient. At this point, I was just over it. When he finally brought our drinks, the "small" and "large" drinks were the same sizes just in different glasses (so order the small drink special if you still want to visit after this review). Our waiter apologized profusely, he seemed very nervous, and explained again how the syrup needs to be made. I felt sorry for him, he was trying. I asked for the check and he then asks if anyone wanted dessert. At first we said no and he asked if we were sure and pressed about it (good sales tactic). I was the only one between wanting one or not and after my group convinced me, I decided to take a slice of cheesecake home. Except the waiter came back to apologize again to me that in fact he was just told there was no more cheesecake. Maybe it was the timing, or maybe it was just a one time thing but I expected a lot more out of this place, especially after having frequented another cheaper Brazilian steakhouse. The waiter was nice and it wasn't his fault that we got seated late, or that he wasn't told he had our table or that the sugar and cheesecake ran out. But I do think to appease us, they could have given us a free round or something! I blame management (how do you not have enough staff circulating with meat when that's what we pay to go for?) They obviously must be overwhelmed or deliberately underinvolved in how to run this place to provide the experience and customer service we are paying for. Team communication sucks, I know I've mentioned it a few times but it does. Oh and the chicken Parmesan was disgusting. Who the hell makes chicken parm with dark meat? OMG!! This place is hands down, absolutely amazing (and if you check my history, I don't give out great reviews often). Not only is the interior gorgeous, but the food was just delicious. I love steak and every one I tasted was tender and juicy, especially the garlic filet mignon. They must pay the servers well because their attitudes were above and beyond. We had Freddy which was an absolute delight! He definitely got a huge tip from us. Just wonderful customer service. When you walk in, this place has a beautiful bar and smells incredible. But if you have been to an authentic Brazilian steakhouse, you won't be satisfied with this. We went here with a Groupon. I'm glad we did because the place is way overpriced. Without the Groupon it would have cost about $150 with drinks and tip. I know lots of restaurants where we can get excellent food for less and not have to deal with the crappy parking garages and crowds in the Ridge Hill Shopping Center. We arrived early for an 8 pm reservation. We had an 8 pm reservation because even though I called 5 days in advance, they were totally booked for any earlier reservations. Good for them, but I hate it when a place is so popular that you can't even get in. And this place isn't THAT good. We waited on line for 15 minutes just to get from the door to the hostess stand. This was the first turnoff. Once we got there we got a pager and waited until 8:40 to be seated. The bar and waiting area were very crowded with depressed looking people. Everyone was just so unhappy to be waiting around; the place had a really negative vibe. We managed to get one drink at the bar from a very inattentive bartender who seemed to move at a snails pace and broke two glasses in the time we were waiting. But he made good a good drink. My wife finished her drink but we were not able to get another because neither bartender would look in our direction again. Weird. Once we were seated the wait staff was so nice and really helpful. We immediately felt relaxed. We went to the salad bar which is pretty large but not all that special if you're used to eating good food. We tried some different meats and I especially liked the flank steak. The chicken was gross. The sausages were decent. My wife isn't big on red meat. If you're not a big meat eater this definitely isn't worth it. And personally, while I like a small amount of meat, I could never eat enough to make it worth the high cost. We ordered a couple more drinks at the table. I think the drinks, while not cheap, are very good quality. They use good ingredients and don't skimp on the alcohol. The general public obviously loves this place because it's so darned crowded all the time. But it's really not as good as all the fuss would seem to indicate. We had the misfortune of being seated next to two big families and they literally swallowed up all of the served food. Plus one server walked by us several times but it seemed like he was avoiding us. It was very bizarre, given that this is a rodizio where you must depend on table service to get your food. The few meats that were served to us were dry or burned or too salty or cold. The side dishes weren't great either. $150 wasted, anniversary night wasted.
