All this food for a reasonable price and the taste is good for the price. The fries were crispy didn't need ketchup just perfect crunch. I love the shrimps it comes with 8 so that's a lot for me. I didn't get to my steak the shrimp and fries was enough for me. I would recommend going to longhorn for a cheap big meal. Always a busy location waits can hit 20-30 minutes but for good reason. Service is always pleasurable can't complain too much when it's clearly a full house. I have never been on a slow afternoon. Food was served hot spinach cheese dip a great appetizer they do it well. Cesar salad was fresh tasting. Dear Guest Relations, I am writing to share my disappointment regarding my recent visit to your Cross County, Yonkers location on July 16. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my best friend's birthday because I had previously enjoyed dining there and wanted to share that experience with her. Although I live in Shirley, Suffolk County, Long Island--nearly two hours away--I intentionally drove to this location because of the positive experiences I had during my previous visits. My first visit in 2025 left a great impression, and I returned another time because I genuinely enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, this most recent visit was the complete opposite. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted by the host and seated promptly. However, the area where we were seated had an overwhelming mildew-like odor that immediately gave me a headache. After waiting approximately 30 minutes without being greeted by a server or even receiving water, I had to walk to the host stand myself. I explained that no one had acknowledged our table and also mentioned the unpleasant smell. The host apologized and informed me that the carpet had been damaged by water and they had been unable to remove the odor. He kindly moved us to another section of the restaurant, but the smell was still noticeable, although less intense. Unfortunately, after being reseated, we waited another 13 minutes before anyone came to our table. Once again, I had to ask someone just to get us water because we had been waiting so long. Eventually, our server, Jhevar, introduced himself and took our order. However, it took another 20 minutes for our water to arrive. When I requested lemon for my water, it took an additional 15 minutes before it was brought to the table. The food itself was also disappointing. I would rate it a 5 out of 10. The macaroni and cheese was watery, and my best friend's meal arrived incomplete, with part of her order missing. By this point, I was frustrated, hungry, and dealing with a headache from both the odor and the lengthy delays. Sadly, the experience became so stressful that I never even had the opportunity to let the staff know we were celebrating my best friend's birthday. What was supposed to be a special evening turned into a very disappointing experience. I ultimately spent approximately $80, including the tip. Despite everything, I still tipped Jhevar because he explained he was covering four to six tables by himself. While I understand staffing challenges happen, the lack of communication, urgency, attentiveness, and overall customer service made the experience unacceptable. Throughout the evening, I repeatedly found myself asking for basic service and updates instead of simply being able to enjoy our meal. I chose to drive nearly two hours past several other LongHorn Steakhouse locations because I trusted this restaurant based on my previous experiences. Unfortunately, this visit did not reflect the level of service or quality I have come to expect from your brand. I hope you will review this experience with the management team at the Cross County location so improvements can be made. Decided to go after my flight back home and get something to eat with my friend coming in the whole greeted us see us right away then the waitress she came and asked for our drinks and then came a couple of times to ask if we were ready to order we order appetizers But the bread didn't come out which one of the things I know that they take out for every table, she passed a couple of times and then I asked about the bread and then that's when she gave it to us. I love to go to longhorn when I am out in Georgia. Today for the first time my husband and I visited Longhorn in Yonkers. our experience was horrific the waitress was in a rush to take our order then she took forever to bring us our beverage, I asked for light ice in my sweet tea she brought me three pieces of ice the sweet tea was warm , however she never came back after serving us the appetizers she kept going back and forth, ignoring us, I beckoned to her in regards to a refill she took my glass and never returned, we got through with the appetizers and ask for our entree to go all this is whilst she is rushing pass us taking care of other folks besides us, she did not ask us if we were okay. Came here on a Friday for my friends bday. Plenty of parking nearby. We were a party of 4. There was a 20-45 mins wait so we asked to stay at the bar and were seated right away. Server was nice. Food was delicious. My only issue was with the floor and bathroom. I went to the bathroom and slid on the floor, almost falling. The day we went was a rainy day and it wasn't gonna stop us from having our steak dinner. Longhorn is fantastic chain reasonably priced and a steak that won't break the bank. This is my new favorite steak joint and good satisfy the steak craving. I ordered the 12oz ribeye with asparagus, and a plain baked potato, I couldn't ask for a better combo. Longhorn is a top five chain restaurant for sure, on most nights it's top three. The food is always consistent, the stuffed mushrooms are so fire, the wings are good. I went with the outlaw ribeye tonight, my whole party got steaks, they all came out A1. Yo man, for my money I'm taking this over Ruth Chris. Came here the weekend right before new year's. Ive always loved Longhorn but this time around this place looses 3 stars for lack of cleanliness. Came with my family. Upon walking to our table, the floors were filled with all kinds of paper, straws, bits and pieces of food. Thats disgusting but tried to make the best of it. Our utensils not so clean. I asked for hot water to put our forks and knives in there so we don't end up getting sick. Food pieces still under our table. I had to grab a baby wipe and wipes around the areas where my son was sitting. We ordered the firecracker chicken wrap, burger and ribeye. Wraps were good. My husband hated the burger, but I really loved my steak. My kid didnt touch his food so we took it to go. We were in and out. The staff might need to consider taking the extra time to clean the restaurant throughout dinner service and making sure the floor is rid of food scraps and pieces because who would want to see that? Place is sizable and the booth was clean and comfortable. Tried the 'Texas Tonion' for an appetizer and it was tasty. The ever reliable NY Strip with two sides was the main course choice and it was about what I expected and good. I wanted to try one of their sangrias, so I settled on the Blazing Berry, which was pretty good. The staff was very pleasant (which goes a long way these days) overall and the waitress was very attentive. Located in Cross County, there's plenty of parking around when it's not the holiday season. It's standalone and you don't have to pass through the entire mall to just come here. Just know that certain times and days of the week may come with a wait, so be prepared. Really, I don't know what others' expectations are regarding Longhorn Steakhouse, but I had no complaints and it's a good option. It's no Morton's (or whatever other high end steakhouse people expect), but it's certainly better than an Outback or something along the lines. It is what it is and prices are reasonable.
