Excellent customer service here. Our waitress did her job well and was very attentive to us. Greg the manager was also so willing to step in and help us out. There was 3 issues with our order, a mistake on how the steak was cooked, ribs forgotten, and a side left out, but they both did all they could to make things better as quickly as possible. A bad meal turned around for the better with good service. Greg discounted our meal significantly and gave us a coupon for the next time we come in. It's consistent with any other Texas Roadhouse all around the country. The chicken fried steak was a little salty but pretty good overall. The gravy was nice. The butter for the rolls is excellent. I will say that even though there can be a wait, the service is excellent. read more

I'd never been to this resteraunt before and i was picturing you average bbq style place. I was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the 6oz steak and the happened to be having a special to upgrade to 8oz at no cost...sweet. Chili was amazing and their veggies were cooked to perfetion as well. They did make one mistake, the margarita I ordered was accidently blended when i ordered "rocks". Didn't matter, it was great! Server realized the mistake, apologized, and even helped with the bill! We have ordered carry out three times and all three times we have been shorted on sides. We ordered last night and were shorted two sides. There is no way to check your order at the restaurant (we had two large bags). I was not going to drive the 30 minutes there and back to retrieve the missing fries. Honestly this place is usually consistently good but our most recent visit was not great. The service sucked our bartender was consumed with visiting with her friends at the bar. We started with the rattlesnake bites which were very good. But our steaks came out raw. We ordered medium rare and these were raw. After sending them back they came out much better. My mashed potatoes were cold. The side salad and mushrooms and onions were also good. read more

Stopped in for a nice dinner while on a road trip, big mistake, worst experience I've ever had at a road house. Took the waitress 13 minutes to greet us and get our drink order. asked for boosters for the kids 2 times . We placed or order at the same time as our drinks. cactus blossom appetizer did not arrive till at least 5 minutes after our food. Kids Mac and cheeses was barely warm , ribs were dry and need sauce we asked for extra but it never arrived, my husbands cup of chilly was less than half a cup. I've eaten at many Texas Roadhouse but I've never had an experience as poor as at this one. read more

Our family goes out to eat and we had the best experience in many restaurant visits at Texas Roadhouse Idaho Falls last night. Our week had been not so great with two hail storms and damage to our cars and house plus a basement flooding. But once we were seated and our wait staff JANET came over to get our order. Her bright cheerful and helpful attitude made the whole week fall away. I cannot say enough about how generous and genuine JANET was. Our food was great as always but having someone bring on the smiles and happiness was so really unexpected and wonderful. She was excellent at her job as well as had an awesome attitude. I travel for work and Idaho Falls is one of my second homes at the moment. I'm a take out kind of girl. My favorite place to go so far has been Texas Roadhouse, not because of the ribs, but because of their chicken critter salad with honey mustard and, of course, the bread with cinnamon butter. Friggin deliciousness! I tried their steak once and it was alright. Their rice is yummy too. I'm going to have to try the ribs next time. There isn't much to choose from, so definitely would recommend this place to anyone stopping by the falls..at least just to have the bread! read more

Probably 3 and a half stars, but this is about as good as it gets in Idaho Falls. Formula food, but tasty and well presented. Good 'ol ribs. Fun to watch the waiters line dance. How come there aren't more good, original restaurants in town? read more

I have been here several times, so I guess that qualifies me to make a review. I say I have been here several times, always when someone else was paying. If I am paying I prefer to go elsewhere. First off, it is always crowded and you may have to wait in their dingy waiting room before you get a table. It is crowded inside. I swear they pack more people into that little place than the fire code should allow. I always feel claustrophobic there. The music is loud, I don't like country music. Peanut shells everywhere on the floor. I have to say the service has always been good, no complaints there. The food is ok, just ok. I cannot even remember what I ever ate there. For the life of me I do not understand why this place is always packed. Same reason Pizza Hut is popular I guess. read more

My daughter has a severe peanut allergy. Upon walking in we realized that there are peanuts on every table. We considered walking out due to her allergy , however the manager Greg came over and reassured us that everything would be fine. He had the table wiped down with a fresh rag in front of us even though it was perfectly spotless before we sat down. He also explained how he understood how frightening an anaphylactic allergy can be. Our waitress was very attentive and our food was fantastic we would happily return to this location. read more

Sorry, I was not impressed. It was a bustling, busy restaurant. We had to wait forty-five minutes to be seated which wasn't too awful since it was a Friday night, but the only thing the place had going for it was slightly over-sized proportions. The food was lack-luster. The steak was really not great quality for the price. Not sure where they get them from. The sides were also not that great. It would be fun for a big group to go, but don't go thinking it's going to be a great steak. (Also didn't like our waitress sitting down and chatting with friends who had come to eat dinner across from us while we sat with empty glasses. Not conducive to good customer service.) Not a nice place to work. The Main manager Adam was a nice guy, he really was. The other manager that has since left was an ass, Cory or something. I was a "bus boy" everyone takes advantage of you and you won't enjoy your job unless you're social. Everyone acts like you're in the way. Eating here is good, Atmosphere is nice and enjoyable, I feel bad for people who get the 2 people tables. It's not enjoyable to sit there. It's always so busy and people moving in and out. Btw never ever ever get bacon, I thought the first time it was just bad but after my third nasty plate the second time we went, I think ib realized they just have some discusting food. Love this place. We went here for my son's birthday a few weeks ago and everything was great! The bread baskets are delicious and their menu had something of interest for everyone in our family. Our waitress was fantastic. It was pretty crowded and it took about 40 minutes to be seated, which is a long wait for this area, but the huge crowd just shows you how much everyone else must love this place too. We will definitely be visiting this place more often - so glad we finally gave them a try! read more
