Not a nice place to work. The Main manager Adam was a nice guy, he really was. The other manager that has since left was an ass, Cory or something. I was a "bus boy" everyone takes advantage of you and you won't enjoy your job unless you're social. Everyone acts like you're in the way. Eating here is good, Atmosphere is nice and enjoyable, I feel bad for people who get the 2 people tables. It's not enjoyable to sit there. It's always so busy and people moving in and out. Very good food!! Always busy though!! Sometimes its a bit of wait just to get a table. Staff seems nice and friendly a little on the slow side with getting the food out but its worth the wait!! Prices are good the rack of ribs there is truly to die for!! Really good! Love this place. We went here for my son's birthday a few weeks ago and everything was great! The bread baskets are delicious and their menu had something of interest for everyone in our family. Our waitress was fantastic. It was pretty crowded and it took about 40 minutes to be seated, which is a long wait for this area, but the huge crowd just shows you how much everyone else must love this place too. We went to have a nice mother's day dinner because we have always liked their food and have always had good service, until now! I was standing patiently waiting to check in after we reserved a time on the app when a worker stepped in front of him to check in someone else, that had walked in after us, because they called ahead. I was told I would have to wait till the other one was done first. I even told person holding the door open that we had checked in on the app but we didn't get escorted to the desk. we will delete the app and dissuade anyone from going there from now on as we will never again go to the idaho falls location! read more

By far our families favorite restaurant! Has the best rolls and cinnamon butter and they are always fresh and warm when served! Their steaks are my favorite. Good flavor, great sides to pick from. This place is always our first pick when a date night comes up or someone's birthday. I've never met a person who doesn't love this place! Our server was on his game, and the kitchen was as well. I didnt make a difficult request but i wanted to make sure my cooked veggies wouldnt be mushy. They made them perfectly. I've been to a lot of steak joints in my day and even been to a couple different Texas Roadhouse's before but this place was GREAT! After reading some of the other reviews (while waiting for a table) I got a little worried but after being seated that all went away! The bread was hot and fresh the beer was super cold. Our waitress was attentive and friendly she made several suggestions on food and drinks. I decided to order a bone in ribeye per my waitresses suggestion and was blown away by the flavor and tenderness of the meat. About halfway threw our meal we got a visit from a manager named Adam and we expected the usual bla bla from him that you get at almost any chain restaurant but much to my surprise he was friendly and seemed to genially care about our experience and went above and beyond to make our visit a great! I wish I had this restaurant near where I live and hope this feedback helps I don't think they've gotten a fair shake on yelp but I hope this helps!! read more

My husband and I like to pay a visit to Texas Roadhouse every now and then. We're usually very satisfied. Their pulled pork is fabulous, yummy chili and their loaded sweet potato is so good. My husband likes to order his steaks "blue" and they always get it just right for him. Sometimes the hostesses aren't very helpful and tend to be disorganized. We did a call-ahead once and waited 50 minutes after they told us the wait would be 10-15 minutes. Larger parties that came in after us were getting seated before us. But my biggest gripe is this: Twice now we've come to Texas Roadhouse with our baby and both times they put us in the booths that are on a split level, so we take a step up, while the high chair stays on the main level, so she comes up to our legs. This makes it difficult to feed her and tend to her. Please guys, if you see that your guests have a baby, put them in a table on the level floor. Bottom line: the food is always really good and you get a lot of it for a good price. I just wish the hostesses were more on top of things. read more

My favorite restaurant in Idaho Falls and one of the best in town, I never miss an opportunity to eat there. They have really good rolls and their rib eye steak is great. My wife and I go there often, the kids enjoy it as well. It can get loud and county music is always playing. If anyone has a peanut allergy DO NOT eat here, they offer free peanuts at your table and there are shells littering the floor. read more

The Roadhouse is a great place to take a family. It's fairly rare to find a place that has food that both parents and kids love. If I go to McDonald's, the kids love it, but my wife and I can't eat anything. If we go to the Cellar, my wife and I love it, but the kids can't eat anything. But at the Roadhouse, everybody has multiple menu selections that they love. And the prices are great. Lot's of great menu selections...superb ribs, and I love the "Chicken Critters". It is the only place in town where you can get a baked sweet potato. Simple things like that make it a great place to go for a weeknight dinner. read more

Service was slow. Salad was brought out barely in front of the entrée. Entrée took 40 minutes to be brought out. I had BBQ Chicken and 1/2 rack of Ribs. The ribs were over cooked and flavorless. My wife had the Chicken Caesar. It had very little Caesar dressing. The server was slow, and he barely checked back with us. The service and food are normally awesome. This review is specifically in reference to the abysmal service provided by the manager of the restaurant on my last visit. I ordered a rib-eye steak as I frequently do when I go to a steak house. I am quite familiar with this cut of meat. It would not be an exaggeration to say that I have eaten hundreds of steaks of this particular cut. The steak I was served, however, was a sirloin. I brought this to the server's attention after a few bites. She offered to take it back and get me what I had ordered. So far, so good. I declined as I didn't feel that the mistake warranted throwing out a perfectly good piece of meat. When I received the bill, however, it still had the more expensive rib-eye steak on it. I asked for this to be changed to the sirloin that I had been served. The manager was called to resolve the issue. He proceeded to call me a liar about what I had been served, and refused to correct the bill. Congratulations buddy. You just earned the restaurant a big fat two dollars. What you also did was lose me as a customer for life. To put that in perspective, I used to eat at this establishment two to three times per month spending about $25 per visit. That's $600 to $900 per year that I will no longer be spending at Texas Roadhouse for the foreseeable future. read more

Haven't been to this location in a while. Prime Rib was very good. Our waiter was very polite and helpful. He was on the ball and kept the water glasses full and the hot rolls comin. The Manager stopped by to make sure all of our dining needs were met. This store was a little louder and the wait staff a little rowdy compared to some of the other stores. Great food!!!!! I love this place soooooooo much. But for some people this is not the case. One of my family members got food poisoning here either from the steak or the Caesar salad. Otherwise, the food is amazing. If you are a steak person, well this is going to be your new favorite because it is so good. If you are not, the chicken with gravy is SO GOOD!!!! The potatoes and gravy are amazing and so is the ribs. I am not a rib person myself, but I have heard that they are so good. Kids menus are really good portions for the kids. They have the actual kids menu, and the ranger menu. the ranger menu is for kids probably 8+ and the regular menu is for younger kids. Now, can we talk about the rolls and the honey butter? Oh my goodness....... They are so good. You get em for free when you go there and they are the best!!!! I had like 7 of them, which is a ton of carbs but I don't really care because they are so good. We've eaten at TRH all over the country but, even though this one appears to be packed all the time, our experiences here have been very inconsistent. Out of three visits over past year, the first was good but the last two were progressively worse in terms of food quality. I usually get the filet medallions. For me, price and serving size are just right for special occasions. Our second visit was disappointing (only for me) because the medallions were full of fat and gristle. I did not complain as our group was very happy with their selections and the waiter had told me initially that there were only two servings of medallions left that evening, implying, but not actually saying, that they might not be top notch...so I felt I had been warned. But, we were talking about filet here, how bad could it be? Surprise! The next visit was a disaster. My medallions were no better than the prior visit, still full of fat and gristle, plus I had ordered them cooked medium and they came raw. I now understand the term "blue" in reference to rare. Almost immediately we were able to get our waitress's attention, she apologized and took my plate back for additional cooking. In the meantime, my husband had not cut into his rib eye (he had been involved with getting my order right) but when he cut into his medium rib eye it was also blue. By the time we were able to get a waitress's attention again, my medallions had been returned. Even though his steak was not edible, he was starved and had been slowly eating eating on his potato while trying to get someone's attention. Finally, a different wait person stopped, acknowledged the problem, but rather than taking his entire plate back, the waiter transferred his potato to the bread and butter plate and took just the steak back... .??? I finished my medallions or what portions of them were actually cooked medium since one of the three was still "blue"...and we waited (and waited) for my husband's steak. About the time he finished his potato, his steak arrived, not blue, but still undercooked. This was to be our Valentine's outing. Not a good experience, especially when considering the price. We did make our waitress aware of our dissatisfaction and she was very apologetic, but made no attempt to make a price adjustment. On our way out, we saw the hostess who happened to ask how everything was. She got an earful from my husband who had just enough time during the walk from our table at the back of the restaurant to the entrance to begin fuming about what had just transpired. As is my role in our relationship, after speaking his piece, he left and I tried to smooth things over explaining that we had been planning this evening, "saving up" and how disappointed we both were with the experience...very disheartening. She asked that I wait just a minute, left and came back with a "free" $30 dinner coupon for two to be used within 90 days. We have yet to use it. Two months left to get our nerve up to give TRH another try. Not sure it is worth the trauma... read more

Don't waste your time. They say 30-45 minute wait but they actually mean 1+ hour wait. And even then they will tell you there are still a handful of people ahead of you. Go to Firehouse instead, less wait time if any at all and their service is far better. read more

We live in Southern California and always eat here whenever we're in town to see family. That's at least once a year for me, and two or three times a year for my wife, who is from I.F. We have never had a bad meal or bad service here, and our extended family has differing tastes. Food and service have always been excellent. They serve up a world-class chicken fried steak. It's big enough for two, or even three. Get the mashed potatoes and white gravy--they're excellent. The rolls and honey-butter that come to your table... good luck preserving your appetite with those there. We have had excellent waitresses there in the past; too bad I can't remember all their names, but the most recent was Cassandra, a young standout who never let our drinks run dry and who always had a smile. Not rating it a one star only because I am taking into account our previous visits which were uneventful. Unlike most other times, we didn't have to wait for a table. Group of three, the wife, oldest son (22) and myself. We were seated and our server took our appetizer and drink orders right away. Unfortunately, when she delivered our drinks, she spilled half an icy cold lemonade right on my son's lap! She apologized and brought the manager on duty over to our table. As way of apology, he gives us a card for a complimentary appetizer on our next visit. Like that will make up for my very irate son having to seat all through dinner with a wet, cold lap all night! Later on we overhear the same manager give a free appetizer to a table next to us and free dessert to apologize for their meal taking too long to be delivered. I have been going here monthly for the past 6ish months. Friendly, good food, sometimes super long wait. If you go when it is busy it is loud and they sign and dance which is obnoxious. I do get Caesar dressing on the side and it always have lettuce or something always in it, so you have to pick out huge globs of produce. The hostess are not the most friendly and are always yapping with one another and not listening to what you say. We return for the food and price of the early bird specials. read more

The service has gone down hill in the past few months. This is the second time they messed up my order. This time they brought me the wrong steak (last time it was over cooked). Of course by the time they got that corrected my wife and daughter were done with with their meal so my steak ended up going home with me in a box. We tend to visit this restaurant often as it is close to our house and the food is pretty good. Not sure I am enjoying the service of late. In addition our waitress kept asking us to repeat what we say because she can't hear us over the loud music. Wonder if they changed manager or what. it is definitely not as it used to be service wise. read more
